"The Grecian Gyro opens its seventh location in the Berkeley Heights complex on Northside Drive later this month, according to a press release. This is the first location within the city of Atlanta for the 37-year-old Greek restaurant chain. It replaces Blue Coast Burritos in the shopping center just south of I-75 in the Berkeley Park neighborhood. The Berkeley Park restaurant, which is double the size of the original Hapeville location, includes a market offering Greek beer and wine, olive oil, pasta, feta cheese, and Izzy’s European Ice Kreme, a Greek-style ice cream. Diners can also order hot fudge or Nutella sundaes and banana splits. Grecian Gyro, founded by Nick Koulouris in Hapeville in 1982, serves gyros, salads, and Greek-style platters on its menu. Other locations include Forest Park, Johns Creek, Dunwoody, Tucker, and Snellville." - Beth McKibben

Great place and great customer service! This is my wife first experience with Greek/Mediterranean food and she loves it. She had the gyro plate and loved the meat. The fries are heavenly and my falafel was crunchy and crispy. The staffs are extremely friendly. Will definitely be back for more.

This is a very good place to get a gyro wrap or platter. They give you a very big portion so one wrap is very filling. The potatoes you get with them are always good as well. The dipping sauce is great. Always fresh veggies when you get the platter. Normally eat here for lunch but sometimes I'll pickup for the wife and I. They used to have a rewards points system but they don't anymore. Wish they did. The only draw back here is they are pretty pricey. Don't see any specials from them hardly.

Love this place! Eddy is amazing- great customer service and explained everything that was in the wrap I wanted - the special of the day was exquisite!! We had a Giro wrap Athenian style and the chicken lemon sauce special of the day with Greek salad and vinaigrette dressing - the best Greek place ever! Definitely coming back!

I drove 20 miles because the reviews were really good. We came at 750 pm. They cashier/cook was not very friendly at all. We ordered the gyro plates. The food prep was fast. The meat was already cooked and needed to be heated on the grill. The greek potatoes were fresh. That’s the only reason I’m giving this place 2 stars. They are not generous with their portions at all. Usually Gyro plates are full of Gyro meat. We were lucky if we got a few pieces chopped up. I will not return here again. The Price you pay for the plate does not equal the food on the plate. I should’ve gone somewhere else. My advice save your money and go somewhere else you’ll get more food for your buck.

Wow, I've never disagreed with a restaurant's rating more. Gyro was terrible. Sauce seemed watered down, meat was not sliced well, almost no browning...I couldn't tell you one thing good about it. Top it off, it was the size of half a gyro, see my pic. Seriously, this thing was smaller than a $1 burrito at a gas station. Just shy of fitting the whole thing in my mouth. Yes, I tried bc it was that ridiculously small. Maybe it's bc they also screwed up the order, it was missing the onions and tomatoes. Only had meat, sauce, and cucumber (that was by request). I can understand off days, but you gotta nail at least 1 thing. Taste, quantity, service...all off. Should have listened to Joy's review and stayed away. Place is obviously trying to skimp out on customers. STAY AWAY!!

Splendid Greek food! Our second time getting food here and we were extremely impressed once again. Food: We got the gyro plate and chicken plate - both very fresh and with generous portions. Their potatoes are so good, we tried to replicate at home afterwards! The salads are crisp and fresh, topped with tasty feta cheese. Service: Super friendly and professional customer service. Stephen was especially patient as well because I forgot to get the receipt and had to call them again and he made sure I got it! For the food and service both, I give 5 stars!!!
