Greek Chicken

So far so good 😊 food is delicious. Every time I eat here the chicken tastes freshly made and OMG the potato salad and the onion rings is a must for me and my husband. I also enjoy the regular lettuce salad 🥗 and my kids love the rice and pita bread with chicken kabob. Try the roasted chicken you won’t regret it 😅👌🏼 Looking forward to trying the hamburgers 👀 Thank you Greek chicken for making great food!!! 👏🏼

I recently dined at Greek Chicken in Lakeside, CA, and my experience was pretty average. The atmosphere of the restaurant was okay. The service was just okay. As for the food,I ordered the Two Skewer Dinner plate. The chicken was seasoned and cooked well. The side dishes, like the rice and vegetables, were standard and didn't add much excitement to the meal. Pricing was reasonable, which is a plus, but overall, I walked away feeling that there are better options out there for Greek cuisine. I might give it another try in the future, but it’s not at the top of my list.

We asked at the drive-thru if tzatziki sauce was included with the pita bread and salad and they said yes. We got home and it was missing., Plus, one piece of chicken was burned, and the rest very dry. Obvious it was all overcooked. Not our usual experience there. $38 for a whole chicken and medium salad. My wife is handicapped, so we could not go back. We did call, and they offered 20% off our next visit so about 8 dollars off a meal that mostly was worthless. They should have offered to replace it and not require me to drive back. I am not sure if I will go back again to gamble on a good chicken or not. A special day for my wife and instead all I got was an upset look for her favorite sauce not being there. ( I should of checked)

I'm really impressed with the prices! I got the snack chicken dinner, which gave me a decent size piece of chicken, pita bread, and a good amount of potato salad and fried zucchini all for just $11. I highly recommend.

It was too busy and orders were coming out burnt (guy next to me), or in my case....cold. Fried zucchini should come out hot. I don't think I've had that big of a problem here it's just between forgetting to put things in your bags when you're in the drive thru, things like that then of course there's the less food for more money thing. Try the times when they're not busy. I mean the food is good it's just inconsistent.

This was out first time here. We don’t live close and drove a ways to check it out. I liked the chicken pita. They forgot the salad for the gyro plate. For a plate that’s nearly $17, the missing salad made the meal quite bland. The workers were super nice. Overall, the chicken pita good but the missing salad was a bummer on my husband’s meal. We might try this place again, but won’t drive out of our way to do so.

Order every week on door dash. My day off go to... But, has been inconsistent with quantity and quality. Chicken is dry and gyro meat.. Only three pieces in combo... Changes every time.

There are a few Greek Chicken places around San Diego. The two I've been to have both been really good. Service is fast, efficient and pleasant. And the food is really delicious and reasonably priced. I've had the gyros plate and salad, and the chicken plate and chicken salad. A great go-to for fast, reasonably healthy and delicious food. The salads are especially generous with a variety of crisp veg and a lot of moist chicken. I especially love their tzaziki sauce and pita. Hard to beat!

Five Stars on the food! Five Stars on the service! Four Stars on cleanliness. Sometimes you need to ask to have the table wiped down. Two Stars on music. Nice mix, but always too loud. ‍

DO NOT leave drive thru without checking your bag! 60.00 for a few items and they forgot a sandwich !!! Service is AWFUL!!!!! I'll be going to another location from now on!

Great service from the cashier in helping me place an order! The food continues to be on point! We had the chicken and salad combo and we added the great zucchini fries! It was delicious! The chicken was super tender and had a lemony taste to it that was quite delicious! Great to have tvs to watch as you eat!

Been our go-to for years!! Always fresh & delicious. We usually get the chicken family dinner & we are never disappointed.

Yuk bland on house paper plates with plastic utensils uniquely designed, but still no customer service really disappointed

Got fried zucchini and it comes with ranch. This is one of my favorite items on their menu, my favorite fried zucchini for sure. The lady who helped me was really nice and patiently helped take my order. I sat outside, this is the only location that has outside seating in east county and it was nice to do that on a sunny day. There was a sewer smell outside, so I wasn't going to sit out there at first, but it went away by the time my order was ready.

10/14/24 - I came in with a buddy. Drive thru line was long and we ordered inside. Inside was busy as well. Ordered at 5:49pm, the food was ready at 5:59pm. Faster than I thought it was going to be. At 3 stars, fast service, clean inside, nice young cash register person and they didn't ask for a tip! More to come. Total of 4 stars. Food was good. It wasn't as flavorful as I remember. I will come back here again and try though. See 3 photos.

Hello everyone I've been trying this restaurant for last almost one year and I am absolutely super happy with their food and service and the way they keep the restaurant so clean and organize so I am definitely recommending to everybody Thank you guys for the fantastic job

Ordered 2 whole chickens. Certainly weren't like they use to be. No flavor. Plain tasting. No hints of lemon at all. They use to serve good chicken. I guess that is something they no longer do.

WORST customer service ever! Went through drive thru at around 2:40 pm on 1/30/2023. Had a terrible encounter with the young girl working the drive thru. She had really short hair, wears glasses and has freckles. They forgot items and I didn't realize it till I got home. Drove back and asked if they can do some kind of service recovery since I had to drive all the way back. She said, "No." Gas ain't cheap these days. Smh...

Good food at a good price and lots of good service. I like the music and the ability to choose whether or not I want to eat in, eat out or drive-through.

Heard about this place from a happy customer at the Chiropractors office and the way she talked it up I was more than impressed. Wasn't sure what to expect from a fast food chicken place but have been proven wrong many times before. Ordered the Gyro sandwich and chicken kabob dinner and everything was impressive. Chicken was succulent and cooked beautifully, the Greek salad was well seasoned, and the Gyro sandwich had just the right amount of meet with the pita bread. I will for sure be coming back to this place.

Well at your suggestion, Gregory, I did give your restaurant another try. I ordered a salad and a gyro. Got home, opened the foil for the gyro and found just pita bread. Nothing else. How does that even happen? Someone wrapped it. It didn't dawn on the kitchen personnel or the gal at the counter to be odd? I drove back to the store and spoke to someone who claimed to be the manager and when I explained that every time I get something from that store, items that I paid for are missing. She opened the foil and said "It looks like you're just missing the gyro meat". That's the level of Intelligence you hired? You, yourself are no better. I gave a very valid bad review and your response is basically "Sorry, I hope you'll try us again." You should have offered to give me the chicken that I paid for and did not get! You are no better than a thief. I will be sure to share my experiences with your inept store far beyond Yelp.

I have been coming here since 2005 and I absolutely love the chicken pita - and onion rings! The onion rings order is smaller than it used to be and the pita itself is too but I am still just as happy as ever with its yummy flavors... it never disappoints ... I love it all- now my kid also loves the food from here .... Always fresh and delicious!

Really enjoyed the fish and chips, pita, and chicken. Salad was fresh and sauces were really well made. They also gave excellent service for a drive up pickup order. They forgot our garlic bread so that was a bummer! We also ordered zucchini fries. The batter they used for onion rings and the fries and it's not a batter I've had! Food was excellent flavor but that's too bad for the garlic bread that they did not provide.

Just came here and was told they didn't accept American Express! That's messed up. They are one of a good credit card company. Your business should really consider accepting this merchant. Really disappointed because I'm pregnant and was going to purchase the big chicken salad. I'll just take my business somewhere else

Wanted something healthy so I opted for med. Greek salad. Priced seemed decent for $10.00, and it was quite large, with a LOT of lettuce. The problem is there was very little feta cheese, kalamata olives, or tomatoes, the things that make lettuce a good salad. The dressing was good but not Greek-inspired. I'm Greek. No way this owner, who has a few restaurants, is. I have to say that I feel many owners are just cheap, or in this case, greedy. The garlic bread was good! All prices on the menu are excessive.

Every time we are in El Cajon or Lakeside we stop at Greek Chicken. We invite our friends to meet us there and they do. The only place we can get a huge delicious salad, crisp lettuce, feta, tomatoes and olives! From there, we select either gyros, half or whole chicken, skewers, potato salad, lots of taziki sauce, iced tea and shakes. The staff is always helpful and pleasant. The food is memorable in the best way. Stop in, you'll be glad you did. Loyal customers for more than 20 years.

Nothing you order here will make you feel like you didn't get what you paid for. Their portions are very hearty and all the food options taste on point. They also have a rewards program and you can get great coupons and free food items after you sign up, they also have a app as well that you can place your order for pickup or takeout.

We love their gyros, chicken kabobs and fish. We always choose their rice for a side. Salad is always fresh and crisp. Not a fan of their French fries but love their fried zucchini. The staff are helpful and kind. Be prepared to wait but their quality food is worth the wait.

All things considered the food is ok, how ever the staff and drive thru service is absolutely horrible, sat in the drive thru order box for roughly going on 10 min now, but been in the line for now 20 min. Are they short staffed? I wouldn't know because no one has come on the intercom since they said please hold. Finally after 20 min and multiple hellos I finally got an answer.. I pull up no, apology for the wait, no explanation for long wait. I will never come to this establishment ever again.

Either need to establish better management or more experienced employees. I understand mistakes happen, but we're way past that hurdle.

Ordered from Greek Chicken due to a family recommendation and we were very happy with our order. I placed the order online and arranged for a curbside pickup. We ordered two plates ans a side of hummus and got a huge amount of food that was enough for 4-6 meals. I ordered one fish plate, which was a huge portion including a side salad. The other meal was a gyro with a side of greek chicken, that also came with a huge salad. Each meal came with pita bread, but so did the hummus - so we had quite a lot and was happy for it. Great deal for the amount of food that you get and pretty healthy for fast fresh food.

They wanted to charge for dressing for a large salad. I wanted ranch for the kids and they said it was already dressed. Ok. Whatever. Went to go eat it - lo and behold there's nothing on it. Went to ask if I could get whatever dressing that came with as there was none on the salad. Nope. Would have to charge me. For dressing on the freaking salad. Yeah, that's a no for me. Don't need to go back. It's not the only place around. Chicken is hit or miss anyways. Always small chickens, sometimes dry. There's something better out there for the prices they charge. And every other place will include dressing with your salad, even give you extra if asked!

Great customer service, and the food was out extremely fast. The food was amazing and they had really large portions. They also have reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend if you're hungry and in the area.

The food is very good and I Normally have good service. Today, however we ordered in the drive-thru. They failed to include a greek salad in the bag. They offered us a credit... great! I stopped back by later that day to get it. When I said why I was there, I was addressed by some lady working there... "What's the name?" After I told her, she asked a cook for the small salad. He just kind of smiled at her and said just take that one... She handed it to me with a pi$$ed off look on her face and just said thanks. No apology, no offer for any way to make amends for having to return.. I heard employees giggling as I was on the way out as well.

Mmmmm, some of the BEST Greek food I've ever eaten. The Gyro meat was perfectly accompanied with the Tzatziki sauce and there was a lot of flavor going on there! To round out our experience we had humus (perfect) and a very delicious, well dressed Greek salad which was huge. Hubs ate the leftovers the next day. You couldn't KEEP me away from this place! Every item we tasted was fantastic!

Gyro meat dry, fries soggy. Asked for extra tzaziki....didn't get it. When I showed the receipt they said that I received it and was lying..... SMH

I am so sick of restaurants serving raw undercooked meat! I ordered a burger from this place tonight through the drive through! Ended up in the trash along with the bloody soaked bun it came with! Do not eat here unless you want to risk food poisoning! Tried to call them but kept getting disconnected! Will never recommend this place or spend another dollar here! Ridiculous the amount of money spent for it to end up in the trash!

Love the greek chicken salad! Also the chicken and gyro meals, fries! All good! Large portions I usually have left overs!

I used to love this location when it first opened. Great service, great quality of food, clean environment however it's gone downhill now. After tonight and the amount of attitude I got from Nirvana I will not be giving them my service anymore if I see her when waking in. Thanks to brooke who works there she's the on out reason I will even still visit this location.

I almost never post less than 5 stars and this one is only because of the service. Food was great! Plentiful and tasty. But we ordered at the drive through and when we pulled up to the window, there was no greeting besides the total we owed. Then when the food was handed to us out of the window, the employee literally stared at a receipt and didn't say anything to us! Nothing. Disappointing.

I love all of the Greek Chicken locations. The manager at this one is super friendly and so is the girl who took our order. It's very clean and I like that they offer outdoor seating. They changed the menu a bit... they used to have small, medium, and large salads and now they only offer small and large. Small is the size the medium was but if you don't know that you'd think it was pricey for a small salad. We ordered the small Greek chicken salad and the kids Greek chicken meal with fried zucchini. Their salads are EXCELLENT and they by far have the best ranch dressing and tzatziki than any other place I've tried. Chicken is always moist and they give good portion sizes.

Love their chicken kabobs get the combo with an extra kabob extra Pita bread and feta cheese and ranch Greek salad and you have an awesome meal.

Added 3 packets of franks hot and its sooo good!! They include the hot sauce packets on request! So good!

Food is good but... BEWARE, check your order! Consistently not fulfilling the order. Regularly missing items. If ordered thru a delivery service, I let it ride. But having to return to shop, they only apologize and give you what is missing. Not much customer service for the amount of money we have spent there. We are going to be going to another location after this last fiasco.

Greek chicken is my absolute favorite place to eat! I love the chicken salad,garlic bread,pita,fish and chips,banana split..what ever you order it's all good!

Food is ok. However, waiting in line for 15 minutes at 7:15pm is ridiculous. Line has not moved, I haven't ordered. Looked like that the drive through was closed. Fast food? Nope! Not here. After 20 minutes, I ordered SMH

I ordered a medium greek salad and fries around noon. It was huge and delicious and I could only eat half. Service and good was great as always!

Really upset they don't update their hours. I drove through El Cajon to lakeside only to realize lakeside was closed even though on yelp said til 9 and google saaid 10. This is ridiculous, I had to drive back to El Cajon. Update your hours and manage your business like a professional.

Although this restaurant had been one if my favorites since moving to East County six months ago, I was very disappointed today. I stopped to pick up aggro sandwich. And baklava for my 20 hour train ride. The first disappointment was there was NO yogurt sauce for the sandwich. They might as well have left off the llamb since I consider the sauce to be a key ingredient. So I had to eat it dry. Then to add insult to injury, I opened the dessert only to find it also dry and hard. No honey anywhere to be seen. Yuk. That one went into the trash!

Well let me start by saying the food is pretty good even though I can not compare it to other Greek food. Here is why it gets 2 stars. We ordered 2 chicken salads thru door dash and of course only 1 comes to us. So my son called the restaurant told them what happened and had to drive over to get the other salad. Obviously they should have comped the salad or thru something else with it. Very poor service which is why they get 2 stars. And when I asked about it they said door dash should have looked at it and noticed it was missing a salad . OMG..... that's all I have to say about Greek chicken in lakeside.

I love this place. I literally could eat here every day. The chicken is good. The salads are so bomb the onion rings are bomb. I don't know what kind of oil salad dressing it is but it's so good. The people that work here are friendly and nice. They never forget anything. The place is a cool little spot to dine in at nothing extraordinary but the food is delicious. It never disappoints. I'm not crazy about the alcohol location, but the one in Lakeside never fails.

Gold sparkles before me. Bright like the sun. Scent of fried fish teases me. Thin tempura batter crunches in my mouth. Contrasts with the juicy fresh Alaskan cod. Flavors remind me of the fish and chips I get at the Del Mar Fair every year. Batter provides just enough saltiness to liven up the mild flavor from the cod. Fries had a crunchy outside and a creamy potato flavored inside. Excellent traditional fish and chips. Greek chicken is tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I imagine this is what El Pollo Loco chicken would taste like if you basted a bunch of lemon juice to the chicken. Vanilla sundae with a cherry on top was pretty good. Whipped cream and cherry gave the vanilla soft serve some nice additional flavors. Soft serve tasted a little like french vanilla. Better than what you find at most buffets but not as smooth and nicely flavored as Dairy Queen. Food came out quickly and the staff was friendly. This is a cool traditional fast food spot. I visited today on my birthday with my birthday coupon and got the sundae for free and 25% off the rest of my purchase.

Great, healthy food, multiple ways to order & PU. Yummy strawberry shakes. Nice reward program. One of my go-to spots if I don't want to cook.

I use to be a frequent regular at this specific location until two weeks ago 1. There is a huge covid out break going on so Greek chicken why would you ask me to bring my food back to the restaurant The issue was I ordered a small chicken Greek salad with extra tomato No extra tomato almost less than reg amt But the issue was the chicken the chicken tasted like old reheated chicken when I called to speak with a manager the shift lead told me the manager wasn't there but I could bring my food back mind you I was 8 days out from testing positive otherwise there was nothing she could do not a hey let me have your name and number and we'll replace it I called back the next day because I was floored I was asked to bring the food back with a pandemic going on how many other have returned food there during this time how disgusting but as I called low and behold it's the same team lead saying the manager still isn't there but would talk to them and call back here it is two weeks later and nothing Greek chicken in lakeside lost a regular customer for sure

HAIR in my food. Buzzkill. After driving over 20 minutes to buy chicken skewer dinners I got a small hair surprise. I called to let them know, the lady tells me to save it and bring it in. Funny way to treat a customer. Never going back.

The service was great, but other than that, there wasn't much to rave about at Greek Chicken. We both ordered the lamb gyros, and they were lacking pizzazz. Again, nothing spectacular to capture our attention. We've had much better. The pita bread was tasteless and became soggy very quickly. We ordered a side of fries, which were big and hot, yet expensive. $3.15 for a small cup of fries. For that price, we expected more. All together our order was about $20 for two gyros and one side order of fries, not even any drinks! For that price, we were really hoping to be wowed. Didn't hit the mark. Service was prompt and friendly, and the bathrooms were clean. We most likely won't go back, or if we do, we will definitely try something else!
