Google
The tzatziki here is to die for. All the prepared food is great - hummus, baba ganoush, salads - but for real, make sure you get the tzatziki. Great olive oils, Greek wine, pita chips, pita and feta selection. Lovely staff as well.

Craig C.

Google
We go to many greek markets and this is one of the better ones. They have alot of items that others don't carry. When in the boston area i always stop here forvthe essentials.

Google
What a Fabulous🇬🇷 Greek Food Specialty Market. They carry everything 🇬🇷Greek from Imported Extra Virgin Olive 🫒 oil to Amazing Feta Cheese 😋, Greek Wines a variety of 🇬🇷Greek Olives to 🇬🇷Greek Oregano. They also have prepared 🇬🇷Greek Food Specialties 😋 from your Classic Moussaka 😋 to Stuffed Peppers and Much More. They make Delicious 😋 Spanakopita (Spinach Pie)Fresh Daily and also few other pies too. But The Spanakopita is the Top Seller 😋. Let's not Forget The Scrumptious Baklava to The Galaktoboureko so Good 😋. The Marinated Octopus is Amazing so is The Tzatziki Dip 😋. The Service was Excellent 👍 and The Staff is Extremely Friendly and Helpful.👍 If you are Craving Anything🇬🇷 Greek Go and Visit Them. I Highly Recommend Greek International Food Market! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Google
All-time favorite Greek market we love to go and get prepared foods. Date night we sit there and order something hot like there baked fish dinner. Lots of options for sides Gyros! Love the dumplings or a cold chill salad so many great options, pita chips and hummus. swordfish kebab is delicious. Portion is small though. it’s very clean and the staff is wonderful. plenty of seating on the inside and plenty of parking.

Glenn S.

Google
First time shopper. Store and staff wonderful. Looking forward to the dinner I picked out. Yum! Update 04/14/22 2nd stop here and yum. More good food.

Google
Seriously THE BEST place to order Bobounieres!! Katarina was AMAZING to work with. She went above and beyond and sent me so many choices. We finally settled on one and they are exquisite!! Arrived sooner than expected and are absolutely stunning! Stopped into the market to pick them up and the market itself is a place you could get lost in. So many choices and you could eat off the floor. If I could give it a 10/10 I would. Thank you for a great experience!!

Google
Fantastic Greek store with authentic produce. The prepared food and yogurt are way better than some of the supposedly better known Greek store in Boston. Friendly staff too.

Julie G.

Google
The Tzatziki here is the best I’ve ever had outside of Athens. I love the Greek yogurt, it’s delicious with a little honey and some fresh fruit. Love that I can sometimes find Oregano chips here too. Lots of fresh food as well as frozen. Great olive bar.

Yelp
Everything here is perfect. THE BEST sauces you've ever had in your life. I won't eat anyone else's tzatziki now that I've had theirs. Groceries are great quality, I wouldn't know if they have everything someone might be looking for if they were shopping in Greece, but lots of fun finds! Lunch and dinner is utterly delicious. The staff are SO kind and so welcoming. Cannot wait to go back :-)

Yelp
I love Greek International Food Market! This grocery store has a great selection of Greek/Mediterranean foods. Here, you can find lots of cheeses, olives, and premade food that you can purchase, by the pound. I love getting their stuffed grape leaves (dolmades) and baklava! Staff is very nice and helpful. They've got seats outside, which is lovely for when the weather is nice to sit & eat ;)) Highly recommend.

Yelp
We've stopped by here a few times now. It's a well kept store and they have lots of Greek goodies. From packaged items like dolmas, crackers, oils, frozen foods, etc to fresh items at the counter like gyros, soup, dips, etc. We've tried a couple of dolma cans from here and they were good. From the counter, we've purchased the lemon potatoes, avogolemono soup. Both were tasty, however the potatoes, which are cut in large pieces, were cold which made them harder to eat. I'd love to try the dips (hummus, tzatziki, feta etc) but they don't do a mix and match platter. I wish they did because then you can try several different types versus buying a lot of just one dip. They also have a large selection of Greek pastries and sweets like baklava. Overall, we stop here every now and then to try something new!

Yelp
In my neverending search for the greatest Spanakopita ( Spinach Pie ), I have found the G.O.A.T.. I've tried a lot. The Olympus Grille in Cohassett. The Fiesty Greek and Taso's Euro Mart, both in Norwood. Effie's Kitchen in Hyde Park. I even tried my own hand at making them. None could even come close to the Greek Food Market in West Roxbury. This place is like Willy Wonka,'s to me. Delectables as far as the eye could see. A dozen different Feta cheeses and even more of a selection of olives. Sweets, savories. You name it. Believe me when I tell you their Spanakopita is to die for. Crunchy phyllo wrapped Spinach and feta so perfect that I got protective of it. On first bite a flavor explosion blew up all over me. It's a messy act eating Spinach Pie. Inevitably your going to wear it. Buttery goodness melded fresh Spinach with salty creamy pungent and tart imported sheep's milk feta. If Spinach Pie is your jam, get on it asap.

Yelp
Amazing, cute little Greek market with friendly staff and service, they have almost everything Mediterranean you can think of from meats to prepared foods. Their prepared foods are absolutely delicious, I mean everything here is good, there isn't one thing here that isn't. A small local business, I strongly suggest you come and try their foods and market offerings. You truly get quality.
google avatar

Amelia M.

Yelp
They have a great variety of foods. The service was quick and the employees were attentive. The space is bright and open while also being absolutely fully of wonderful Greek foods.

Yelp
Food - you get a great variety and high quality Mediterranean food. I was so happy to find all kinds of wheat, fresh salad, cheese, pastry. Ambiance - very clean, well spaced, nicely decorated, lots of free sample and snack around. People/service - people are very nice and friendly. I felt like talking to my family members! I bought a lot of stuff and at the end, in the middle of 5/6 bags, we left some fresh salad behind and didn't check them out. When I realized it at home, I called the store to make sure that they are still there and they can keep the door open a bit if I get there late, surprisingly the staff offered to uber or deliver them in person for me. Shortly, the staff arrived with what I wanted, and some extra! It was a very sweet experience! High recommend this store.

Yelp
Lovely proprietors, with a nice variety of products both imported and domestic, everything from fresh items to wine to entrees to snacks and more. The standout for me is the delicious housemade avgolemono, worth making the trip here just for this- but don't sleep on the sweets and other goodies either. It's a gem of a store if you're a fan of food and/or Greece.
google avatar

Yelp
Great selection, great prepared foods! We try to come when we can, this last time was yo make some traditional Greek Gyros.

Yelp
This is the way. If you love Greek food. We used to live down the road. Now we go back down there once a month.

Sandra M.

Yelp
Delicious food! Everything we ordered was superb. Visiting Massachusetts...I wish we had a similar food source.
google avatar

Yelp
The staff is always friendly. I love this little slice of heaven in my neighborhood. I have had the greek yogurt with chocolate and grapes(I think this was a special), the pasta salad, and my favorite, the moussaka.

Yelp
Needed a bakery order for a bereavement luncheon. Couldn't have been kinder or more helpful

Yelp
The best place to go for several things you may miss if you ever lived in Greece, or went there for a vacation. Very friendly staff and also owners of the Farm Grill rotisserie in Newton. A great place to go to taste Great Greek cuisine. The only downside is that it is not open on Sundays when I remember I want several things from there. Also, they havent brought in Milko from Greece.they do that and I will be there every other day.
google avatar

Yelp
Best Greek food place in the area. Fresh food and excellent service. Helpful employees ready to serve.

Histo H.

Yelp
The workers don't respect the customers at all they should have responsible and professional workers in this special Greek Market
google avatar

Katie H.

Yelp
This place is a total package! Has everything you need for one stop shopping. Wine, soap, hot food, bakery items and desserts. I stop in mainly for their Greek yogurt. It is easily the thickest, creamiest yogurt I've ever had. They make this in house and you can tell. The other item that can't be beat is the Feta cheese. Not only is it delicious-but crazy affordable. The deli has great items, and they will heat up items if you'd like to eat them right away. Worth a stop. Has parking lot and takes credit cards.

Yelp
This market has some of the best Greek and middle eastern food around. Their egg lemon soup is to die for, all the prepared foods, imported cheeses, etc. Not only that, Thea are very kind, fine people. My doorbell just rang (it's 9:15 p.m.) and it was Katerina from the store asking if I had left something at the store. Unbeknownst to me I left my wallet there. She tried to reach me but couldn't AND DROVE IT TO MY HOUSE! I can't thank her enough!!! Please support this local establishment!
google avatar

Yelp
Their pre-made food is very fresh and delicious... great selection of oils and condiments. Best greek yogurt I've ever had!!

Yelp
If Greek International Food Market had not participated in that voucher deal, I would still have no idea that this place existed and was so convenient! It is located on the corner of Washington Street and Grove Street in West Roxbury, and has a nice sized parking lot in the back, accessible from either street. They used the empty area out front to make a welcoming green space set up with a bench and a picnic table. Once you enter, the market is before you and to the left, while the register sits at the counter to your right, and the prepared foods counter stands just beyond. My voucher could only be redeemed for their prepared foods and desserts, so most of my time was spent loitering there, sampling this dip and that. But a walk around the market revealed that they were a source of the thick pita I so love grilled fresh and served soft and tender. $3.99 for a bag of 10 fat discs of Kontos Pita in their freezer. I'm going to have to bring some home with me some day. On this visit, what made the trip home with me were: Pasitsio (ground beef, lasagna, bechamel, spices, olive oil) $5.99 per piece, Spinach & Feta Pie $4.49 per piece, Veggie, Spinach & Feta Pie $4.99 per piece, Galaktoboureko (filo sheets, cream of wheat, honey, butter, milk, eggs, sugar, lemon zest) $2.99 per piece, and a bag of Home-Made Pita Chips $2.99. The pita chips were good. The Galaktoboureko not overly sweet. I preferred the veggie pie to the Spinach Feta (too much feta for me). The Pasitsio generous and tasty. A new offering of theirs is self serve soft serve yogurt. They had hoped to make it special, by using some of their own homemade yogurt as an ingredient, but it was sadly too thick. But still, they offer the only soft serve yogurt in the area, so that still counts for something!

Yelp
I recently discovered a food shopping hidden gem in our community. The Greek International Food Market is a full-service grocery store, with specialties from Greece. The Baklava is the best that I have ever tasted - I'd rate it "the best in Boston!" There is also a wide selection of Greek foods, fresh cheeses and dishes, and a nice selection of Greek wines. You will not be disappointed! There is convenient on-site parking. I am hooked. Jim Needham

Yelp
Wonderful neighborhood place with super friendly staff and delicious food! Go to their deli asap!

Yelp
I adore the Greek International Market! It's an oasis of amazing food, particularly the dips (tzatziki, hummus, baba ganoush, spicy feta), prepared foods (moussaka, spinakopita), imported blocks of feta (ask to try samples!), olive bar, homemade Greek yogurt, and frozen finger foods. They also have a large selection of olive oils and wines! Their staff are helpful and thoughtful - even remembering us as regular customers and saying they miss us when we haven't come in after a few weeks! During COVID-19 the Greek International Market has been an invaluable resource for the community. They've taken multiple precautions to ensure the health and safety of their staff and customers, including having all staff wear masks, and have provided special offerings for important supplies, such as toilet paper and produce. This market is superb any day but it's important to support them during these trying times in particular. Please join me in doing so!

Tiffany K.

Yelp
I love this place! But it totally stinks they close at 6:00. I've been trying to get there for weeks and I haven't been able to. I know I'm not the only one that feels that way.

Yelp
Truly phenomenal place! I just moved to the area, and was told this was the place to go for all sorts of Greek specialties, foods, etc. Once I walked in I immediately fell in love. They had all of the foods, drinks, you name it that I enjoyed so much on my trip to Greece. Not to mention fresh cheeses, prepared foods, just a huge selection. I plan on going back once a week now! Thank you guys for having this gem local to us!
google avatar

Melissa T.

Yelp
The Greek salad could easily feed 2 and the tzatziki and baklava are the best I've ever had. Gorgeous fresh holiday breads, too. What a happy discovery and gem right here in Boston!
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic selection, and the nicest people ever! I came by after hours thinking the store was still open and they were kind enough to let me in, AND gave some some free tabbouleh! Lots of yummy prepared food and a wide variety of cheeses, sweets, and olives. Love this place!

Yelp
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! This lovely market has some absolutely amazing options! From friendly staff to delicious food I could not recommend this place more. I live 50 mins away and i would 100% make the drive here again.

N B.

Yelp
Wonderful fresh food counter! Salads, wraps and savory pastries are all delicious. I always ask for dressing and sauces on the side when ordering wraps as they get too messy or soggy by the time I eat it. Baklava is top notch. Lots of feta styles sold by the pound. Love the pasta salad, quinoa salad and fresh garden style Greek salads. It's always busy around lunchtime. You might have to wait a bit, but it's always been worth the wait.

Jude M.

Yelp
Great selection. Food is delicious...a little on the expensive side but worth it. I highly recommend

Yelp
This market is one-of-a-kind! The family and workers are wonderful and always helpful. The food is amazingly Authentic GREEK! I go once a week for something new. Live the Greek salads and grape leaves!! Hummus is unbelievable! Anything you purchase you will be satisfied!! Denyse B.

Yelp
This place is great. They offer a wide variety of Greek specialty items that are difficult to find. The wine selection is very good, they have the best olive bar around Boston, and the pre-made food is excellent! Besides this, the owners (who are always friendly) now offer a variety of items that they normally would not, due to COVID-19. Items such as toilet paper, paper towels, even chips and salsa! It's a wonderful neighborhood store with great staff, friendly owners, and I will keep shopping here for years to come!
google avatar

Sharrel P.

Yelp
Just moved to the area and LOVE this place! Smelled amazing right as you walk in. Plenty of off street parking. So much delicious stuff to choose from, whether you need olive oil, jams, snacks... but then the prepared foods! Hummus, tobuleh, spinach pies, and you can also order salads, sandwiches and soups to go. We will be back often!
google avatar

ML A.

Yelp
Love this Greek Market. Excellent set up, great selection of Greek food items from pantry staples to deli items like salads and cheese and olives. Super friendly and helpful staff. We drive about 40 minutes and it's worth it. If you are looking for any Greek food from yogurt to honey to olive oil this market can't be missed.

Leah F.

Yelp
So psyched to have found this place! Went to Greece this summer and was craving some of our favorite dishes and Greek foods. I found everything here and more! The staff was so friendly and helpful! I can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Yelp
The best tzatziki imho. Very nice staff, parking is easy, little picnic bench outside for takeout. The prepared foods were sooo tasty. I got eggplant rolls that were stuffed with feta and spinach. Yummy. I want to try all the fetas at the feta counter. You can even buy their super thick strained greek yogurt from the fridge. A real treat.

Yelp
New construction is sort of rare on this section of Washington Street so I watched what was going up with interest. Turns out to be a Greek food seller / convenience store. It sorta feels like what you'd get if Whole Foods decided to open a convenience store -- bright lighting, clean gleaming freezer & deli cases and shelves that are made from some sort of really dark wood material. Offstreet parking was fine, easy access on and off via Washington St. In addition to stocking convenience store things like milk & soda etc. the main focus is on the Greek and other imported foods and foodstuff. They have: - Lots of olives & olive oil - Decent selection of nuts - Good selection of prepared and handmade foods - Lots of frozen greek prepared foods - Cooking stuff like filo dough, spices etc. - Deli section with meats and prepared foods like skewers and eggplant and pasta options - Lots of imported candies, sweets & chocolates For my first visit I picked up some cashews, giant Pistachio as well as a couple of obviously homemade foods that looked closest to what my Armenian parents fed me growing up -- spinich & cheese triangles and a few filled with spiced ground meat. I forget the Armo name for these foods but here they were called "Spinich Fatayer" and "Meat Fatayer" -- they looked and smelled delicious. Not sure about pricing for everything but my Fatayer's cost $1.69 each - I could easily see someone putting together a quick meal from the handmade food options and still spending less than $10 bucks. I'll be back, it's a nice addition to the area.

Yelp
Great customer service, the staff always offer free samples of the prepared foods. Very clean and good atmosphere. Love this place!

Yelp
Been looking forward to trying this place for a couple of months. They have wine, hot food, packaged products from Greece, and an olive bar. An olive bar! We had the beef moussaka, spinach and feta pie, and titan melomakarona. They were all delicious! The service was top notch as well. Will return and true the octopus salad.

Yelp
Great selection of food and lovely staff. I would highly recommend the rice pudding. Cute outdoor seating area as well. I am a huge fan of this place and the staff!!!

Yelp
I frequently shopped at Greek International as I love all the prepared foods and all the international products they offer. However, I am confused about their irregular cooking schedule. According to their website they close at 6, so I arrived at 4:30 and ordered two chicken gyros. Staff said it was a slow day and they were closing early. I don't live nearby so I was annoyed they weren't able to accommodate me. He also said I should call first to see if they are open. The next day I called for clarification and spoke with a lovely women who was apologetic as to what happened and offered me complimentary sandwiches. Thank you very much. I have recommended Greek international market to several people. Recently. some friends went to for the gyros and staff said the grill closed at 12 because of COVID and couldn't get sandwiches. I called today again for Clarification and a man answered and told a different story. He said often times there are too many orders for the grill and they have to refuse additional orders or they run out of chicken! Really! It's too bad with some of the customer service, because It is a great market! Please advise on website about hours and restrictions for to go food orders. Thank you

Yelp
I cannot recommend this store enough. I've been in many times to pick up delicious prepared salads and desserts. I have always been treated to exceptional service in a clean and welcoming space. This weekend, I contacted the store to see about grocery delivery. Ordering food has caused quite a bit of anxiety for me in the past month, but this couldn't have been easier or more pleasant. I ordered a variety of foods and have them delivered to my door. We received beautiful fresh produce, milk, eggs, olives, frozen veggies, and many other Mediterranean treats. Even better, we ordered three lovely Easter baskets for children in our family. This will certainly be a memorable Easter, and I feel so lucky to have a such a place nearby. I only wish I had ordered more food! Thank you!

Yelp
Although I bought over $150 in food , the guy who works on the register was very rude, and I almost left the stuff there..... IDK if he was the won of the he owner, because the attitude was aut of control....Not professional at all.......

victoria m.

Yelp
This place is such a hidden gem! The food is excellent - we've liked everything we've ever gotten. It's the perfect spot to pop in and grab lunch or dinner when you don't feel like cooking. It's also fantastic if you need appetizers and party platter if your hosting. The staff are always super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I live near the Greek International Food Mkt. and am a regular there. I get their meat stuffed peppers which my father thinks I make as they are so alike. The spinach feta flaky pies are my personal fav! Love this little local gem!

Yelp
I was so glad when I saw this gem when I moved to Dedham. I'm Greek and was looking for a market nearby where I could get all of my favorites. Whenever I walk in I feel like I'm back in Athens. Spicy feta cheese is the best.

Lina P.

Yelp
Have been shopping there for 2 years! Homemade food! Love deli are! Salads are great! Authentic feta and cooking oil from Greece! Most of my Greek friends shop here! Prices are great! Great parking!
