I just bought my first custom hat. It is an amazing hat! The customer service is amazing! I got to meet Trent and get a signed $2.00 bill for my hat! Great job Greeley hats!

If you know me, you know I like hats! You heard people say I think I ended up in Heaven here on earth , well couple boys over in Ft. Collins , Colorado (in town for a three day Leadership course which was outstanding, taught by the world famous Larry Kendall) told me about Greeley Hat Works! I walked in the building I had the biggest grin on my face you ever seen! Dan walked up and can I help you , said looking for couple hats, and next hour I had a BLAST, sat in a chair from 1909 when they open and put this device on my head that was made back in 1909 to measure me head! What an EXPERIENCE ❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸 I always say life is about making Memories, Well this is one I won’t forget! All BTW, walked out wearing one and one getting shipped n deciding which two I am going to make! They CUSTOM make your hat for you any style , color or what ever you want! First time being in the store and I can say I’ll definitely be back! I went in to get my hats reshaped and in the little bit of time I was there, Dan and Ryan were both super helpful in getting it done. Both were super friendly as well and got my hats just the way I wanted. Great duo and all around great people. Thank you for all your help Dan and Ryan, as well as Greeley Hat Works!

I was met and greeted by a cowboy named Guy, very personable. All I needed was my dad's 3 beaver Stetson cowboy hat cleaned ,it was a hat I gave my dad in the 80s. When he died, I received it back. Guy said this cowboy hat is old, probably from the 60s, in damn good shape. He cleaned it and steamed it, and even gave me a cowboy hat box to keep it from harm. I asked him how much he said, no charge. Guy, I want to thank you again 🙏 True cowboy!

Long standing hat shop with everything one could want in hats. They have a famous reputation, as they created the custom hats for the Yellowstone cast, but before Yellowstone put em on the national spotlight, my family and I have been coming here for years. Friendly service, extremely knowledgeable, and plenty to select from. Northern Colorado is lucky to have this gem right in our backyard. No wonder why the Yellowstone cast and crew chose Greeley Hat Works to custom make their hats for the world to see. No appointments needed for a hat clean and re-shape. No charge either, just tip em if you're able.

I cannot say enough great things about our hat purchasing experience. The selection is amazing, but the customer service was beyond amazing!! Not only will you be measured and fit to perfection, they are also adept at style, color and fashion choices. We had fun and enjoyed spending money. The hats are worth every dime!! Thank you Guy!! Went to Greeley Hat Works and they were able to shape my hat to my liking very quickly. Staff greeted us immediately when we entered the store and said they would be with us shortly and they were. Friendly staff, fast quality service, kind of unusually in our current world. Kuddos to you, I’ll recommend and be back!

Rachel and Tim were nothing shy of complete professionals, as they fit me for a custom beaver western hat. Rachel took my measurements and walked me through the amazing old-world process of custom hat fitting. The nostalgia and sheer artistry inherent in their craft was second only to their kindness and attention to detail. Not a single person greeted me nor helped me. Straw selection is very limited unless you want a twister or atwood. I'd have settled for an atwood but I couldn't find a single hat in my size.. oh well. Would've loved to see some resistor or american hats.

Had a complete restoration of a family hat. Beautiful job and Kevin Delgado did a great job shaping.

I'm at a loss for words in a way. I always wanted a hat like this, but was afraid I wouldn't get the right one, right kind, wrong fit, wrong brand. But I've been bonding with my dad over Yellowstone - fantastic show - and I recently grew a beard, so I thought, well, now's the time to see if that hat works, ya know? I trusted Greeley Hat Works based on reputation, and them having done hats for the show, but I will be back because of my own experience, their amazing team, their care for the customer experience, the little touches like the signatures on the inside of the sweatband... honestly, I never knew how quickly I could come to be so attached to an article of clothing until now. I will wear my Greeley Hat Works hat til I'm tits up in the dirt, if you'll excuse the language, and even then, it's probably the most impressive item around. I appreciate what you delivered to me - money well spent, trust earned - and I'm a happy, will-return customer, and I just want to impart on any strangers stumbling on my review, you can't go wrong with these folks. They are truly the best.

So fun! We loved our visit. My husband got his head sized, which was extremely entertaining. The staff were all patient, kind, and informative. The owner spent lots of time explaining all the options, positives and negatives. A very interesting stop to say the least, even just to look around! Lots of memorabilia and cool articles. These hats are truly works of art!

If you are buying a stock off the shelf western hat, you might be okay here. Just don't try to get any custom work done. I brought in a Spanish American War campaign hat that needed to be reblocked. They wouldn't touch it. Fair enough. I took it elsewhere. That is not the reason for the bad review. I brought two hats here and they screwed them both up beyond repair. The first was a wool and beaver hair fedora that I have had for decades. The 'starch' was breaking down and I wanted it reblocked. They suggested that I change out the sweatband as well. When I got it back it was unwearable. They took it again, and again, a complete mess. They tried again, and still, could not make it work. Their sweatbands are twice as thick as a standard band, which is all good and well if your hat is too big, but if your hat fits, it will make it too tight. But beyond this fact, the way the band was attached it made the front of the hat pucker. I eventually dropped $800 on a new hat and tossed this one in the trash (after forming over more than a c note for them to reblocked this one. But the destruction that they did to my good straw Panama is beyond words. All that I wanted was a swat band put in and the silk ribbon from my grandfather's hat put on it. Nothing more. When I got it back, they had reblocked it and in doing so the crown was now too tall and now instead of a 2 1/4" brim, it has a 1 3/4" brim. It sits so tall on the head that it's practically a top hat at this point! Looks completely goofy. Add to this the aforementioned sweatband that is too thick so when the hat is placed on the head it is tight and contorts the brim. But perhaps the biggest insult is the fact that they charged me to hot glue the band in place. SERIOUSLY?!?! Hot glue??? Like I couldn't glue a hat together. I was expecting the sweatband to be sewn into place. And just to add insult to injury, I brought the sweatband in that was sold to me with the hat. It was much thinner leather and would not change the shape of the hat like this fat thing does. My girlfriend told me to take it back - AGAIN, but it is more than an hour drive for me, and I didn't see the point given the fact that I have ZERO faith in their abilities at this point. Good luck with your hat adventures with this shop, it can't be worse than my experience (I'm about to throw my un-worn panama in the trash and start again with another shop - I'll add some photos). I only wish there was a good hat shop in Colorado where I could buy high quality hats, and have someone that has a talent for customizing them.

Tim reworked my lovely old (1986) beaver Stetson and it's good as new! Throughout the process he communicated, including pictures, so I was confident that the end result would be perfect. It was!! Huge thanks to Tim and Greeley Hat Works.

This place is the real deal. TV shows, Presidents, foreign leaders have all come here to have hats made for them. This is real cowboy stuff, folks. Real riders, real wranglers, real rodeo people get hats here. Getting ready for the grand opening of their expanded shop on Sept. 21, 2019 - you might want to get your order in first. Top notch.

While they do have a great selection of hats their customer service has completely left the building since Travis left. They are disrespectful towards their customers, they talk down to their customers. I would never recommend this hat place to anyone. We have bought about 10 custom cowboy hats from their and will never go back. I hope that they can listen to their customers and improve but until then I would never recommend this store to anyone. They are not very welcoming to anyone who is apart of the cowboy lifestyle.

Quality hats made to last a lifetime. I've always been happy with my purchases & been treared in a professional manner.
