"If you need a spot that feels like a mountainside small-town book nook, Green Bean is your place. There’s an assortment of armchairs as well as personal and communal tables (vulture-stalk to get one by a window). The coffee here is served in mugs that you’d mistake for ones from your own home, and everyone tends to be really warm and friendly in here. photo credit: Erin Lodi" - Aimee Rizzo

Google
Nice people and a decent place. However I'm afraid they don't mop their floors as much or tend to the overall hygiene of the cafe as it has a odd smell to it. Good for independent study. Great drinks. And true to dollar pricing.

Google
Great little place to get work done. There's a lot of room in this coffee shop and I really like their Cafe Americanos here. On a sunny day, there is a lot of natural light the comes into the building because of the surrounding windows. I would say this is probably one of they are on of the most thoughtful business I've been too. Supposedly, the tips that this shop receives goes to benefit a different charity/cause. Very cool!

Google
I'm here every week, often 2-3 times, sometimes 2-3 times in one day! I love this place. The food is good, the coffee is good, the atmosphere is good, and it has one of the best kids' areas in any normal cafe in town. The staff all knows me and my kids here, pretty much the first time a cafe I've been a regular at has managed that in Seattle. Most cafes, even if I see the same person or two every time and am in there regularly, don't ever recognize me. I also love that they have a featured nonprofit every month. I've found out about some really cool organizations by reading the board, one of which I now sit on the board for because I was so excited about it after seeing the info at Green Bean. I've been meaning to check out the various events at Green Bean and will update this review once I have.

Google
This place is always a good idea. The coffee is excellent, and the staff is very kind. I always contribute to their charity of the month, and there's an opportunity to buy a cup of coffee for those who might not be able to afford it. There's a little play nook for little kids, that the kids and parents always seem to enjoy.

Zach Lindblad

Google
Good coffee, great atmosphere. A little on the pricy side, but it's the best in greenwood, also one of my favorite "work from"/hang out coffee shops. Small selection of board games, big kids area, plenty of space and not too busy

Emma Riggin-Sizer

Google
I went here for a business meeting, they had lots of seating and good drinks. The Wi-Fi connection was pretty Good, which is always a concern for coffee shops. I would totally go back for a coffee/hot chocolate. I also saw a few kids there, looks like there were some toys for them to play with so that might be a perk for parents.

Google
Love this place - a winner for tots. Mostly it is a simple café with excellent coffee and baked goods. The clutchest thing they did was install a train table so little ones can play while you sip your latte. It is so incredible and genius. It doesn't turn the whole place into a play room, just a quite corner for tots and trains. Awesome.

Google
First off, the coffee was fantastic. BUT, it's lacking in customer service. I was the only person in line when I ordered, but when he took my payment, another customer walked in behind me. The screen that shows the tip and signature went dark when he flipped it around, but before I could say anything, he started taking her order. I got it to turn back on, but before I could finish (my finger was still on the screen), he flipped it back around and out of my hand so he could take the other customer's payment. I wasn't done. We were the only two in line. The other guy was really nice, but not him.

Yelp
I ordered the Tropical Vine - pandan syrup, coffee, coconut milk. Drink was good, tasted as advertised. Service was good and I love the ambience of the cafe. Great spot to relax and chat or get work done.

Thao E.

Yelp
This place is so consistently delicious. No matter what you try, I don't think you will be disappointed. I love the tropical vine and the purple haze. Get a medium bc the small is cute and all but its not enough.

Sisi T.

Yelp
It's a weird set up at this location. You walk through the front door and the cashier to place your order is on the opposite end of the counter. No one greeted us nor directed us where to go. The 3 behind the counter just kept talking to one another and watched us stand there at the wrong end awaiting service until I realized the P.O.S system was at the opposite end. I directed my friends to the P.O.S. System and we placed our order. A line began to form behind us and they were waiting at the opposite end as we did. Finally someone directed them to where we were standing to place an order. One of my biggest pet peeves is not greeting your customers upon arrival. Especially if it's not busy. That's how I gauge if my experience will be good or not. Sounds silly, but that one simple action almost always means a stellar dining/customer service experience. I would probably not visit this location again because of the interaction or lack thereof. Fortunately it's coffee, so we just waited for our orders. I got The Dark Night Latte (Espresso, milk, condensed milk, black sesame seed. *Foam contains dairy, cannot be made non-dairy*) It was good. Glad I tried it, but after trying my better half's Vietnamese Latte I was missing my usual traditional authentic Vietnamese Coffee. Love the variety of the menu and that they are Seattle's first Vietnamese coffee shop, established in March 2020. I would definitely like to try other items on the menu upon my next SEA visit. Just NOT at this particular location.

Yelp
What more can I say-- but AWESOMENESS IN CUP!! Want a kick get here now.. order the iced coffeeholic dream and you will be fine all day. You won't regret it

S C.

Yelp
Fast service, interesting menu. My coffee was delicious . Recommended for something different

Alex R.

Yelp
Coffeeholic is such a fun, vibe worthy place to go. My go to order the is Coffeeholic dream. It's delicious and has cheese foam on top. We also got the passion fruit guava tea with 50 percent less sugar. They also have an amazing ube latte. One of my favorite coffee places in greenwood. A must good if in the area.

Elizha-Grace F.

Yelp
I come to this location from time to time whenever I'm in the area and they never disappoint! Viet coffee is top tier, I always order their bac siu and it's always perfect. I've been to all their locations & I order the same thing every time & flavor is always on point, they are very consistent and I love it! Service is always wonderful & cafe is very cute as well, perfect place to sit, relax & get some work done!

Carol C.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of Coffeeholic House! My favorite drink is the Dark Night with the black sesame. My daughter's favorite is the Purple Haze. Grateful and appreciative they were open on Thanksgiving day. I did go off script and order the seasonal Peppermint Mocha, which was good, but not as good as the Dark Night. Service is always friendly and quick. This is my favorite Vietnamese coffee shop!

Lainey H.

Yelp
The dark knight (black sesame drink) was the highlight of my visit. It was a beautifully crafted blend, creamy and rich, with a nutty flavor that was both comforting and unique. The black sesame foam was expertly balanced with milk, creating a smooth texture that lingered pleasantly on the palate. Topped with a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds, it not only looked appealing but added a nice crunch. Overall I would definitely come back here the next time I'm in Seattle.

Sierra W.

Yelp
Still love Coffeeholic House! Staff is always kind and friendly. Cute cafe with yummy well prepared drinks! During my most recent visit I had an iced matcha latte with oat milk..one of my fav drinks to get bc sooo yummy. Bear claw pastry sadly wasn't my jam. It was good but just a little too sweet and hard for me. However the music playing, totally my jam! Lana and Kali Uchis playing while I finish my book and enjoy my matcha now that's the vibe :) I overheard a woman at the register asking to use her personal cup and they allowed it, so next time I'll bring my own cup! So much better for the earth, I have been so many times and didn't know I could do that. Bathroom available is single stall with key needed and has changing table for parents. I will always recommend Coffeeholic House greenwood location!

Dee P.

Yelp
Super cute place. Beautiful interior. Cozy, but also spacious. Located on Greenwood, it is accessible - street parking available. I got the Ube latte with Ube foam. The foam is dairy based but I got the latte with oat milk. Very yummy and aesthetic. Staff is very friendly and answered my questions well. Customer service is amazing. Will come back for sure.

Henry H.

Yelp
If you're looking for some great Vietnamese coffee at a good price, look no further. The egg yolk coffee was so good! Creamy and chocolatey just the way I like it!

Carree W.

Yelp
Our first stop during our food trip with the girls. Tried the purple haze and yum! I love coffee and i love ube. Hard to find parking and they had a line, but worth it. The place was super cute!

Lei F.

Yelp
Such a cute cafe. Love the chic vibes. And it's clean. Parking is better than the main location but still don't have its own designated lot. They serve Asian flavored coffees/lattes, like Vietnamese Coffee or Ube Latte. On this trip, we tried the popular, "Purple Haze" (ube latte topped with ube foam & ube drizzle). Make sure you mix it well or else the coffee will sit in one area instead of blending with the ube flavor. We also tried their Ube Monster (ube smoothie with Oreo topping). Both drinks are sooo good, it actually tastes like Ube! I've had the Vietnamese coffee here before, and it's also really good. Everything is pretty sweet though, so if you have a sweet tooth and love coffee, this is the place for you!

Rumi C.

Yelp
Coffeholic is a cute Vietnamese cafe with a bunch of super unique types of Asian coffees and teas. If you are in need of a caffeine boost guaranteed to get you going for the day, come here. I got the matcha latte with oat milk and was super happy with it. It was very creamy, not at all grainy, and not too sweet at all. Came out in good time considering there was a bit of a line (less than 5 mins). They don't have much seating inside so keep that in mind before your trip.

Lana D.

Yelp
I decided to come by to this spot as my friend recommended it for its unique coffee beverages. It was quite busy when I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and most of the tables were full. There is free street parking or paid parking lot right beside. The shop is nice, a good spot to do some work or hang out with friends. I decided to try their Ube latte (hot) which did not disappoint! It is a little bit sweet and I had forgot to ask for less sugar but nonetheless still really good. They have a couple pastries available, and I had paired my drink with an almond croissant. On the way out, I decided to try their iced pandan cold foam Vietnamese coffee and this drink was so good. For any pandan lover I absolutely recommend!

Derek V.

Yelp
Woof! This coffee is DAMN good! We bookended our trip by grabbing coffee here our first day. We loved it so much we needed it to close out our Seattle vacation. Coffeeholic indeed. Touché. I was boring and got the original Vietnamese coffee, despite there being a lovely menu with really unique and interesting flavors -- my husband got the black sesame foam latte and swore by it. I'm turning him into a coffee lover yet! Coffeeholic House is a very nice cafe, that seemed a great place to post up and talk story, read/write, or do some casual work. Both times we went in, it was well patronized. The staff was also nice, they offered some great suggestions for my husband as he tried to decide what to get. We love an attentive staff!

Nathan F.

Yelp
I come here way too often. I was first introduced to the wonders of Vietnamese coffee when I visited Coffeeholic House over 2 years ago. Ever since that first visit, I've been getting drinks from Coffeeholic nonstop, ranging from the Purple Haze, Dark Night Latte, Ube Latte, and many more! My current favorite is Tropical Vine with Ube Drizzle, though I did just try out their new Ube Egg Cream, and I enjoyed it! On top of the amazing drinks, the vibe of the cafe is also something to behold. The workers there are nice and don't shy away from having a conversation with you. I've also met the owner of Coffeeholic multiple times and I can see his passion and dedication to making his customers' experience better. I 100% recommend if you're ever in the Seattle area!

Tammy H.

Yelp
I got the 12oz matcha purple haze today and usually I love coming here but this was a disappointing amount of ube. Compared to the menu photo, there was no ube on top and just some floating on the sides, and tastes completely of matcha. It makes no sense to charge extra for what is essentially a regular matcha.

Diana C.

Yelp
I loved this spot! I would definitely come back! There's a lot of different drinks to try and I want to try some of the ones I had as matchas instead of lattes. I really liked both the Purple Haze and the Dark Night Lattes! I'd definitely travel back here for them and they're pretty unique. I also love that they have varying levels of caffeine and vegan options for my dairy free and vegan friends! They do have some snacks and bakery too which was nice, and I had a blueberry scone that was fine. I'd like to try something else next time perhaps. I also liked the service and ambiance. The baristas were friendly and cool and they were helpful in answering questions and choosing drinks. The space was modern, clean, and spacious enough that I didn't feel crowded doing my work. The seating was comfortable and well lit and the restroom was clean as well. I definitely plan to come back!

Arielle M.

Yelp
Didn't try any of the food but the drinks were good! Tried what they called a "lighter Vietnamese coffee" which was great considering it was already 2p. Staff was nice and wished us luck on finals on our way out. Love how there are wall plugs along the seating area. Great place for studying. Oversell decor is earthy and cozy. Would go back if I was in the area.

Kim K.

Yelp
This was a bustling place on a Saturday afternoon! There is lots of seating but all of it was taken when I came. I got the Nutella toast and the plant based dream coffee. I placed my order right away at the counter, but it took about 15 minutes for my coffee and to go toast to come out, so this is not a quick grab and go spot. It seemed like there were a lot of online orders/door dash orders. The coffee was refreshing and the toast hit the spot! There wasn't much left as far as food options at 1pm which makes me think they sell out quick.

Lotta S.

Yelp
Super darling unique coffee shop. Sandwiches are pricey . Place is well lit and it has some calmness over it. Large menu that covers it all. Bathroom for customers available.

Ginny C.

Yelp
Solid amazing drinks! My favorite is the dark Knight, which has is a black sesame latte with black sesame foam. They also have a seasonal pistachio latte, which is also really delicious. They have so many good flavors. Will definitely keep coming back!

Katie B.

Yelp
Stopped by Coffeeholic while visiting Seattle. Vietnamese coffee tends to be very strong. I had the coffeeholic dream which was amazing! Not too strong. I was unsure about the "cheese foam" but trust me, it's good. My Boyfriend got the purple haze which was definitely stronger than mine and less sweet. My almond croissant was a little burnt and the only reason for four stars.

Ashley V.

Yelp
One of my new favorite coffee shops in Seattle! I love the variety! The pumpkin cheesecake latte was fantastic! Will definitely be back. Cozy cafe, with windows and lots of seating!

Dominic N.

Yelp
Trying out the top local coffee shops since Seattle is the coffee capital of the world Definitely better than Starbucks but we had to really shake the drinks to get the flavor to come out. I like the policy they have of remaking drinks until you like it. That's ideal since many people might not have tried the Asian flavors and don't know if they like it. There's no tables or chairs in the shop so you'll need to sit outside to enjoy or take it to go! Black Sesame Latte Ube Latte

Janice H.

Yelp
Cute, chic, and quick asian coffee spot. I wish we had a place like this back home! I got the blended coconut coffee and it was perfect for a hot ass day. There's wifi and air conditioning too. The workers and clientele there look very young and trendy. It seems to be a popular spot for girls and first dates! They had other flavors there like frozen ube, etc. which I wished I could try, but unfortunately I had to leave town.

Skye P.

Yelp
So many good options!!! I didn't ask if I could adjust the sweetness to things but they seemed accommodating so definitely gonna try to ask next time. But even as someone who is sensitive to sugar, I enjoyed their drinks because they had such unique flavors !! 100% going back to try more

Maiyuri H.

Yelp
If you love sweet coffee, you'll love this place! I'm personally not a coffee drinker, but when I had their Ube Latte I was highly impressed. It had the right amount of Ube flavor and coffee. Pictured here is their purple haze matcha and though it was good, I think you're better off getting their coffee since that's their specialty. The matcha had a good amount of sweetness, but wish there was more matcha flavor. The cafe itself is pretty small so studying there might be tricky, and their parking is street, but overall it's worth trying!

Taner E.

Yelp
In the land of coffee shops with the same 6 generic drinks on the menu this slaps the shit out of them all

Sarah B.

Yelp
First time here and it didn't disappoint! Cute coffeeshop vibes with friendly staff. Coffeholic Dream with Ube drizzle 5/5 - perfect blend of coffee and sweetness Dark Night 5/5 - great Sesame flavor, but I would add an extra shot for my coffee flavor Tropical Vine 5/5 - this is the first pandan coffee that you can actually taste the pandan! They have multiple locations.. definitely stop by! This was a 15 min detour for us, but well worth it!

Carol L.

Yelp
This might be the BEST Vietnamese coffee in all of Seattle. I had the opportunity to visit the grand reopening of the coffeeholic house store in Greenwood. It was also the launch of the new Morning Glow drink! I was the first person EVER to order it! Super exciting. The Morning Glow is a sweet corn based drink, with sweet corn purée, bütterfly pea tea, and coffee foam. It may sound strange, but trust me, it's SO good. It's got the perfect light (yet existent) corn flavor and isn't too sweet. We also ordered the Purple Haze with two shots of espresso, which is a coffee based drink with ube foam and ube drizzle. Delicious and creamy! We ordered it with an oat milk substitute. In the past, I've also had the premium coffeeholic dream, tropical vine (pandan + coffee) and dark night (black sesame latte) drinks too. The waitstaff are so friendly and informative. Additional, the owner himself came up to me to discuss the morning glow drink with me. I can't wait to return to try the rest of the menu items.

Judy P.

Yelp
Great customer service! The cashier that helped us was very sweet. We ordered the Purple Haze - 12oz, iced, with almond milk. I loved the flavor and how not overly sweet. Just a tight balance between the coffee and almond milk. We also ordered the Coffeeholic dream - 10oz iced, bold flavor with the condensed milk makes it sweet. We were able to find parking right out front that is reserved for Coffeeholic customers, otherwise you would have to pay for street parking. Ambiance is cute! Love the vibes and can't wait to go back

Mojdeh S.

Yelp
How I heard of this place: When Green Bean closed, the entire neighborhood was curious to see what would open in it's place. We needed the local coffee shop with good seating (a space for kids at Green Bean was a huge bonus), but weren't sure anything could survive through covid-19. Then there was Coffeeholic! Type of cuisine: Vietnamese coffee with so many novel and beautiful flavors, as well as an assortment of sweet and savory pastries. Ambiance: An amazingly beautiful setting full of luscious greens and stark white backdrops. It's warm, cozy and comfortable; an inviting space where friends can meet, families can share a treat and individuals can savor the moment with their beverage and/or pastry of choice. What I ordered: My first visit included the most popular item - Coffeeholic Dream. An exquisite combination of ube sweetness in a robust coffee, topped with a slightly salty cheese foam. Not only did it look picture-worthy, it tasted like...a dream. On subsequent visits - there have now been countless - I have tried most of the pastries, the Ube Latte, Purple Haze, Strawberry Milk, Bac Siu, and seasonal specialties like the Ube Monster and iced Mango Green Tea. What I loved: The garlicky grilled cheese sandwich they had early on was truly the pastry case favorite, but it seems to have been discontinued. Savory buns (pork & green onion) are also high on the list. Of the beverages, I've recently taken a strong preference for the richness of the bac siu, but the Dream always haunts me, pressing me to return for a daily dose. Why I loved it: The space is warm and inviting, like a vibrant and bright jungle. The beverages truly are crave-worthy and the staff friendly. Cost: average to high

Juliana A.

Yelp
Drinks are amazing and delicious. Very chill vibe, definitely recommend. Recommend the coffeeholic dream and purple haze

Kaelin H.

Yelp
Not to be dramatic but the coconut coffee might have changed my life. It is essentially a blended coconut slush with coconut poured on top and it was perfectly refreshing while still having a pronounced coffee flavor. I asked for it less sweet and I found that to be the perfect amount of sweetness. They also recently refurbished their space so it's a very cozy and warm feeling cafe now. I can see myself coming here to do some work with a coconut coffee on the side :)

Yuri T.

Yelp
Our first time at CoffeeHollic in Greenwood and it was perfect Delicious coffee, relaxing decor, and helpful staff. We ordered the coffeehollics dream with ube drizzle and the purple haze. Purple Haze was a bit on the sweet side for me, but my friend enjoyed it a lot! Private bathroom inside Street parking

Hoa G.

Yelp
Hubby and I are sooooo happy that we found Coffeeholic House! We love our Vietnamese coffee and was in search of a place that sells it and I happen to stumble upon Coffeeholic. I love the aesthetic of the place, it's so adorable! When we went, it was a bit busy. The first time we went Hubby got the Vietnamese Coffee and I got the Coffeeholic Dream. I really liked the Coffeeholic Dream with the slight nutty taste. The staff was super kind and the drinks are just perfect! Hubby really loved the coffee here and he is usually really picky when it comes to Vietnamese coffee because he knows how he likes it and not a lot of places can make it correctly. We came back here the day that we were flying back out. Hubby got the same drink and I got the Tropical Vine. That was actually pretty good. It was different, but I enjoyed it. Would I get it again? Probably. But so far the Coffeeholic Dream and the regular Vietnamese Coffee is winning for me.

Flora L.

Yelp
We were greeted by friendly baristas! The interior design game was on point, decorated with greeneries and brick walls. The cafe was very clean and spacious inside. A huge plus factor for me was they had designated parking lot on the side of the cafe. I don't have to worry about not finding a parking spot when I decide I need caffeine. We got coffeeholic and ube latte. Ube latte was sweet, but Coffeeholic was much sweeter. I wish we could control the sugar level.

Jiayi S.

Yelp
I think I've like all the drinks I've had from coffeehouses so far. They have a wide selection of Vietnamese coffee drinks. Ive gotten the purple haze and dark night and they were both fire!!

Max L.

Yelp
Okay well what a bummer, it happens to all of them. Where to begin... Firstly since it blew up and got way busier they have hired and gone through so many people who have been poorly trained on the drinks, since i started coming here several years ago the quality has taken a nose dive while the prices are increasing. Exactly as predicted in my last review. The customer service seems more fake now when before it was inviting and warm. Came in this morning looking past all of that, girlfriend is sick in bed so i thought i'd grab her an herbal tea while im here, no herbal teas no peppermint or camomile. It's a house shop for gods sake. I was like ok well tough luck, proceed to hand 10 dollars in cash for my latte and the young lady says we don't take cash. Well that's the last straw. You went from me coming all the time as a local resident to a hard vow never to step foot in again. I don't understand how you can go from so good to so bad in a short year. See ya wouldn't want to be ya. I'm out

Grace C.

Yelp
A Vietnamese coffee shop with multiple locations across town, Coffeholic House stands out in the coffee scene in Seattle. Espresso drinks, blended drinks, teas, and coffee, Coffeeholic has something for everyone! I got their Dark Knight, a black sesame latte and my friends got the Purple Haze (ube latte), and Tropical Vine (pandan latte). We all liked our drinks but their drinks are also reeeeally sweet and we would consider these more "dessert" drinks than coffee. I wished the drinks were less sweet to allow for the espresso to be more pronounced. It felt a bit condense-milk-heavy as it was the most pronounced flavor. This may be just a personal preference, however. They also feature pastries from Macrina bakery! Love locals supporting locals. This location also had plenty of indoor seating and most of the tables were full with people studying/working. While this style of coffee may not be my go to cup of Jo, Coffeeholic House is worth a try for a unique coffee experience!

Dominique A.

Yelp
The drinks were unbelievably delicious - I had the black sesame drink and that foam was something I have recurring dreams about the service wasn't the best, but the drinks made it all worth it!!

Jeremiah M.

Yelp
Just left a review for their original location in Columbia City, but I gotta show love to the Greenwood location too! As commented time and time again, Coffeeholic House is seriously the best Vietnamese coffee shop in all of Seattle, and I'm always happy to support a local Vietnamese business. What I really like about the Coffeeholic House Greenwood location compared to their original is that they include indoor seating. A perfect place to meet up with friends, a little coffee date, or a nice place to study! Their customer service is also very friendly and always helpful. I really enjoyed their "Dark Night" sesame coffee drink, and would highly recommend it if you wanted to try something new with coffee. I hope one day Coffeeholic will also add cà phê trứng (Vietnamese egg coffee) to their menu too, would be a great addition to have! Always happy to make a visit, so you should visit too!

Mae-Elisa S.

Yelp
Shout out to my friend who recommended this place when visiting Seattle! I absolutely loved the purple haze latte. It was delicious with the right amount of ube. Some coffee places struggle with getting the ube flavor in the coffee, but Coffeeholic definitely got it spot on! I was really impressed. Would definitely come back here again. I also convinced my brother and sister-in-law (who normally don't drink coffee) to come here with me and now they are hooked! I'm glad they get to enjoy it.

Jackie B.

Yelp
Love the different options for coffee! Not your normal coffee shop. Very tasty. The food options are good too.

Kevin T.

Yelp
The IG ads got us so we had to check out Coffeeholic House 2.0, a cute coffeeshop decor paired with good coffee in cute cups First time visiting - ordered an iced E1 Vietnamese Latte and an iced E3 Ube Latte - We really wanted to like the Ube latte but it ended up looking better than it tasted. There really wasn't a distinct flavor of Ube or coffee :( - Surprised by the Vietnamese Latte :) It had really great coffee flavor without being too sweet - we'll be ordering this one next time for sure Although we struck out with the Ube latte, the Vietnamese latte was excellent so we'll be back when we're in the area to get it again Cheers, Coffeeholic 2.0!

Julie T.

Yelp
What I ordered: 2 pumpkin cheesecake latte (last day to get this 11/24/22) 1 Purple haze with cheese foam 1 matcha fusion latter (2022 winter menu) 1 Bac Siu The drinks are fine and SUPER strong! My favorite is the pumpkin cheesecake latte but that will no longer be available soon. My go to is the bac siu because it doesn't make me too jittery for the rest of the day. Service is fast and friendly. The store is spacious and decorated very nicely. Parking is just okay, they have 3 designated parking spots only. There's also street parking and paid parking.
