Google
A close friend told us how good this restaurant was, so we had to try. Our 1st visit was in November of this year. The 23 miles travel from our home was worth it. My husband loves Mexican food. This is a mixture of New Mexican inspired food. He said the Chile Relleno ($16) was superb, the best he had eaten in Oklahoma. He also ordered a solo crispy taco ($4), which he said is okay okay. I enjoyed my grilled and smothered burrito ($12). Friendly receptionist and server. Nice building and friendly atmosphere. Will definitely go again. There are other food we want to try.

Google
A true hole in the wall that appears to have been a Yukon staple for quite a while now. Finally made our way over here and boy howdy and I glad we did! Service was very nice (albeit a tad slow). Food stole the show. Everything looked and tasted incredible. The hatch green chile margarita tasted pretty much like a spicy margarita.

Google
This is good New Mexico style food. If you have never had it try it. I love a good chili relleno and this one is all about the chili get it with meat or just the cheese. Great salsa amazing stews. Take that menu to the test, I have yet to be disappointed. When your done save room for the Pecan pie.

Hola Oklahoma

Google
First of all, our ratings are done to get the services better for their own benefit. Saying that the food is really good and even the surprising price of $10.00 for Cheese sauce is justifiable because is REAL cheese 🧀. The service could be better. Quite better, specially when serving minorities. (I know, en Oklahoma, this is like a blasphemy for many). The green plastic cups are in a deporable condition, and with7937PJ-LYJ7X an average ticket of $30.00 per person, it will take anly 6 to 8 of them to buy new glass cups. Again, the food is delicious, it just need and adjustment in management. Good luck, we will be back

Google
I was so excited to try this place and unfortunately it didn’t live up to the hype. We got the queso with ground beef and it was one of my least favorite queso I have tried. It had no flavor or spice and tasted like plain white cheese that wasn’t melted all the way (it was thick and lumpy) and the ground beef was cold. The salsa wasn’t bad that they serve with the chips. I got a soft steak taco that was decent but the chicken taco was terrible. The chicken tasted like canned chicken and I don’t know what that green salsa is that comes with it but I personally didn’t like it at all. To wasn’t my favorite meal but may be someone else’s.

Google
Everything seems to be made fresh in house. We ordered the fajitas for 2 and the tortillas were fresh and the fajitas cooked very well without being scorched. Service was excellent. We had a small wait due to popularity of this restaurant. Will definitely be back!

Google
This place is a local gem. The food is absolutely incredible. Drinks made in house are delicious, I suggest the margarita. The chips and salsa are some of the best I’ve ever had. The queso is a great starter. Staff is very friendly and they give good food suggestions too! The homemade pies are the best pies I’ve ever had. There was a small wait when my party arrived, it was worth the wait. On top of it all, this restaurant is a local business.

Yelp
Love this place! It's worth the drive to eat New Mexican food in Yukon, Oklahoma. Location is right off the Highway. I love that they have green chili everything (food and drinks). Tasty!! It's always busy so be prepared for a wait at peak times.

Yelp
As someone that used to live in Santa Fe, I LOVE New Mexican Food! The flavors are so rich and vibrant. I have been coming to Green Chili Kitchen since they opened and Im not sure how I managed to just now give it a review. The pictures are from 3 different trips all with good intentions of writing a review. I used to faithfully get the enchiladas but every once in a while the chicken has tasted dry possibly microwaved, you know that taste so Ive switched to the Chili Rellano. Filled with yummy cheese. Im a spicy girl so bring on the heat. I always order Christmas style so you get red and green chili. Ive also had their frito pie straight out of the frito bag similar to the five and dime in Santa Fe's Plaza. My husband usually gets the chicken burrito with mild green chili. He has said the same thing about the chicken and that funny taste but its not every time just occasionally. The queso is divine. Could bring home a gallon of it. Love their margarita flight! Pies are also amazing. All in all Im still going there as often as I can get to Yukon! I encourage everyone to check out Green Chili Kitchen.

Yelp
The food was good, the service was good. Will definitely be back. The one thing I would tell the owners when they have a meeting or whatever don't do it at the front counter, looks trashy with the mess and all the people standing around.

Yelp
10 months later, we visited for lunch again. Service was perfect. I had the shrimp tacos, refried beans and Mexican corn. 10/10 The hubs had the pork stew and house salad. The salad was huge and he liked the Posole better than this one. High quality food and service. Great place if you haven't tried it.

Andrew M.

Yelp
Great food. The naked bowl with an egg over easy on top is my favorite also there the salsa is amazing. Always quick service. Though it's always packed so it's a little loud.
google avatar

Doug B.

Yelp
Excellent food and great service. My favorite is the posole soup. Also their pies are the best.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the place to eat at if you're ever craving New Mexican style Mexican food. Their green chili queso is amazing! I also recommend getting the salsa flight too! Very tasty.. It's hard for to stray away from enchiladas, so I always get their stacked enchiladas.. rotisserie chicken is very excellent too. Go check this place out if you ever have a hankering for New Mexico style Mexican food.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my dinner and drinks here. I had enchiladas and a coconut margarita which was one of the best ones I've had in the area! I have had the "open" enchilada before and I prefer the classic version. They have white queso which seems to be so hard to find in Oklahoma for some reason. Salsa was great and had a kick. It was refreshing to go to a Mexican restaurant not super Americanized to the point nothing was spicy! I expect spicy and I got it here. I'll be back for sure!

J B.

Yelp
I have struggled with finding a good Mexican restaurant since moving here from Colorado. Having a love for spicy food and an allergy to jalapeños, the Green Chile Kitchen is a God send! It's one of the few places in Oklahoma where you can order green chile on everything. They are always packed, but worth the wait! The food is great. It's as close to New Mexican cuisine as you can get. The service and staff treat you like family and everyone is well taken care of. Prices are affordable and portions are large. My favorite Mexican food so far!

Yelp
Reviews were positive so I went , it was busy so good for them, but the service and the food were mediocre at best. I suggest passing on this one until they get their shit together.

Russ F.

Yelp
A really good dining experience. Food is delicious. Service fast and friendly. One of our favorites
google avatar

Jeri C.

Yelp
Great margaritas. Menu variety. Good food and service. Interesting location, but it works. Don't let the surrounding area put you off from this great place.

Yelp
I was born in New Mexico and moved to OK in 9th grade. I've always missed authentic New Mexican food and red or green chili and I specifically enjoy a stuffed sopapilla. Always searching but never finding the perfect mix, usually Okies don't know how to make green chili stew or anything even close. This place nailed it!!! We were visiting our best friends in OKC and decided to make the short drive to Yukon and try the Green Chili Kitchen. All 4 of us were pleasantly surprised. Service was great, food was amazing and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Can't wait to return!!!

Jessica G.

Yelp
The server was very nice and helpful when asked about vegetarian options. Service was quick. Food was very good and seemed to be made in house, fresh. The menu is extensive. Prices are very reasonable, portions will make most happy. My portion made 3 small meals for me. Dining was a pleasant experience and we will return soon.
google avatar

Yelp
Amazing food, excellent service and our server Mason gave us the best recommendations. We loved our margarita flight (you can choose 4 mini flavors) and our food was all SO GOOD!
google avatar

Robert C.

Yelp
Great food and surprising location for New Mexican food. I highly recommend it! Chiles rellanos are always a good indicator for Mex, TexMex, and New Mex, and theirs were scrumptious.
google avatar

Valeria S.

Yelp
Friendly staff, tasty margaritas, good food. The patio would be a nice spot for drinking with friends.

Yelp
Food: 3.5/5 Ambiance: 4 Location: 3 Service: 4 My friend and I stopped in after viewing houses on the Parade of Homes. I yelped restaurants in the Yukon area and this was number 2. My builder also recommended it (we viewed his house on the POH last). Walked in and were greeted and told it was a 40min wait. No biggie. We went to the bar to order a drink. As I was talking to someone who was tabbing out, the bartender skipped over me and went to another couple. Hmmmm. Could be an oversight but yeah. Finally she takes my order and we both order ranch waters. The margaritas were premade so I knew it was full of sugar and the patron I was talking to told me they were too sweet. The ranch waters was ok. This place did not have a full bar so just FYI. We were seated right after that and our server was amazing. He checked in, others walked by and checked on us and we talked to what looked like owners or mangers and they were super friendly. More than made up for the bartender. We split the fajitas with steak and shrimp and they were great. I would not make the drive out there for this (it's 20mins away from me) but if I'm in the area, I'm definitely going to come back. 8.5/10 would recommend.

Yelp
This place was hyped up for me, and while it was a solid restaurant with good Mexican food and options, there was nothing out of the ordinary wonderful about it. Some highlights: +owner and her son were friendly +extensive options including those featuring green chiles +large portions -extremely crowded on a weekend evening; wait is ridiculously long and waiting area is far too crowded -nothing to write home about

Yelp
Holy Mexican flavors in a small local way!!! We love about 15 mins away... First time trying. I had heard good things so I came with expectations. Started with the queso mild green Chile topper. Ordered the hot Chile on the side.... Delicious..and the ladies of the table thanked me. Just a heads up the hot is hot.... The beer I had paired well to beat the heat the chips and salsa were ok...next time I might try one of their kicked up salsas. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. In my perspective if you live near or short drive - Everyone must try Green Chile or You're missing out. I added some pictures. Thank me later.... My meal was the stuffed grilled chicken burrito with the Christmas sauce topper.... Very tasty. I ate a 1/3 of it and am excited about my leftovers. Sopapilla was worth the small charge at the end...and my daughters destroyed it. Thank you Pita for being our awesome server!!! Questions -let me know. Happy to assist. Respectfully, Bryan Yukon, Oklahoma

Yelp
I realize it's not Mexican food but we were really disappointed. We had the 3 taco appetizer thinking it would be the indian fry bread that is fluffly and crisp but the ground beef had little flavor, the beans were bland. The New Mexico layered enchilada had very little chicken and it was dry. The tortilla chips were hard. Service was poor. Felt forgotten except for the manager refilling drinks. Atmosphere...surrounded by trashy customers who were straight out of Walmart. Disgustingly the bus boy spent 5 minutes scraping food off plates at the table next to us and then would scrape off the knife he used. It sounded and looked so gross.

Yelp
Everything from the food, staff, to atmosphere were amazing. We drove from Enid to try this place and are so glad we did. Best southwest food I've had since being in the New Mexico, Colorado area. Would definitely recommend this place and definitely will be going back.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered appetizers and drinks, food and drinks were overpriced, food came out barely warm. Service was just ok. Won't be dining there again
google avatar

Thomas T.

Yelp
I had the Green Chile Stew, supposed to be one of the specialties. It was below average the day I ordered it. The pork was tough and was hard like it had been burnt. I was unable to eat my stew. I'll not be back. I am generous giving them three stars! Probably deserves worse!
google avatar

Yelp
This was my first time having a meal here, after recently moving to Yukon. Here are some of the things that I noticed, while enjoying my lunch. The kitchen staff has huge smiles on their face while they cook, the staff is friendly and kind and all seem very happy. The service was really wonderful, they are definitely on it. The food has so much flavor and is presented beautifully on the plate. I really enjoyed this place and I think you will too! I'm happy to have discovered this place in my new town!
google avatar

Madeline E.

Yelp
Similar to La Tertulia, this spot is not your typical Tex Mex restaurant. Rather, a lot of its food is New Mexican, which means there's often green chilis involved. I ordered the taquitos plate because of the waitress's suggestion... and it was bomb. Seriously good flavor with a nice crispy texture. The melted cheese and chilis on top paired well with the fried tortilla and meat. I could eat this weekly if I lived nearer! My mom ordered the new mexican frito pie, which looked both unique and delicious. She said it was really good, and something she's ordered a few times! This restaurant is unique to Yukon, and something I look forward to getting once or twice a year!
google avatar

Miranda T.

Yelp
Been here several times since it is so close to home. Love coming here for some great food with my uncle and grandmother. It's a reminder that you don't have to break the bank to get good service and good food at a good place.

Donna E.

Yelp
Nice lady waitress. Food okay. Prices. Um alright. I have only goid things to say here
google avatar

Sheryl F.

Yelp
Good food, good service. Price is a little high but food is good. I need to try some of their specialty dishes. They sound really good

Richard B.

Yelp
I rarely write reviews, but my wife and I just had dinner here tonight. The food was outstanding, the short wait well worth it, and we're looking forward to a return visit. Our waitress was named Pita and she took great care of us. She was friendly and made us feel special. Way to go Green Chile Kitchen!
google avatar

Christine P.

Yelp
I took my sister to lunch today at Green Chili Kitchen. We both ordered the taquitos (split beef and chicken) and they were delicious with the mild green chili sauce. The pinto beans were full of flavor, and the rice was also outstanding. The food was fresh, beautifully prepared, and so very good. Our waiter, Mason, was attentive and saw to it that we had timely refills on our drinks and chips, and was so nice. All in all a great place to eat and we will be back.
google avatar

Thomas L.

Yelp
ALWAYS Great food! Add to the great food, the lightning, fast service, and ice cold beer. Who could ask for more!

Frank R.

Yelp
The chicken and steak taquitos, carne adovado smothered burrito. green chili burger and flat enchiladas are fantastic. My family eats here often. Food reminds me on the food I grew up eating in my hometown in New Mexico. Service is great. The hostesses, waiters/waitresses and the manager are fantastic. The manager is very friendly.
google avatar

Ragona I.

Yelp
We ate at the bar because they were really busy and we were hungry! The bar tenders were very kind and professional! The food service was great and fast. The restaurant decor is really nice. I got the queso dip with mild green chilies. Wow! Yummy and a big serving. I put it on everything I ate and still took some home. I got the Tuesday special which was 2 bean tostadas. Great taste and great deal for $7. My husband got the enchilada combo. Not a fan of tamales so substituted another taco. He got the Christmas sauce. ( 1/2 red sauce and green chili sauce). He got the hot option. He said it was indeed hot, but tasted great. We travel to Oklahoma often as our daughter lives here and we have to eat here at least once every time!
google avatar

Luke M.

Yelp
Really great Mexican food! With the combination of rich flavor and fiery spice, I loved having a great dinner. The sauces were rich and decadent, the tamales were really good! I would so love to come here as often as I could, if I didn't live 40 minutes away. Still, it was some really delicious food!
google avatar

Ryan M.

Yelp
The food there is really good and the white queso cheese is amazing but you haft to get it with jalapeños or I think they just call it hot.
google avatar

Sheryl R.

Yelp
Had queso with green chili's. My friend loved it and I was kinda "ehh". Chips were great. Salsa was too chili powder-y for me. Awesome Bloody Mary. Food was really, really good. I had a grilled and smothered chicken burrito and my friend had a fajita bowl. Mine was great. Had a bite of my friend's and it was good too! We had a trainee server and they had a regular server with her. He wrote down our order too. Service was fabulous. I gave 4 stars for the atmosphere. I liked it and my friend didn't. Even had a group on the outdoor patio. Definately a keeper.
google avatar

Shirley A.

Yelp
Got nachos to go. Servers were friendly, generous servings, food was good, I went at the busy time so had to wait a little while.
google avatar

Jim S.

Yelp
Food is beyond great as well as the service. The only negative is the acoustics. Conversation is difficult.
google avatar

Briana S.

Yelp
I just love this New Mexican restaurant. Fast seating and service. The staff are great and so friendly. Food is always great!
google avatar

Scott W.

Yelp
We love Green Chile Kitchen. We have been twice with friends and love it. It's worth the drive to Yukon. Go early or be ready to wait as it stays busy. The tamales, fajitas and apple pie are so good!

Brecken K.

Yelp
Food is AMAZINGGGG Atmosphere is obviously so aesthetic The server was so nice. Some would even say the nicest person I've met in my whole entire life
google avatar

Sarah B.

Yelp
I got the shrimp fajitas, they were really underwhelming seasoning wise but mostly standard over all, we also ordered the Carne Adovada which was significantly better but still lacking in some ways. Unfortunately for people with a dairy allergy I wouldn't recommend, when asking if cheese could be removed etc. things were premade or frozen so it wasn't something do-able. (To be fair these were more kid friendly items, and I can't speak for the whole menu). The staff was wonderful and service was quick and attentive. It was pretty loud and crowded so maybe not the place for a gathering where you want to hear others talk but overall I'd say stop by if your curious. I do feel like the reviews we saw really overhyped the place so that could have a little to do with the disappointment when we actually went.
google avatar

Susan S.

Yelp
Just tried this restaurant based on friends reviews and Yelp reviews. I LOVE this New Mexican food! New Mexican chilis are so flavorful! Unlike jalapeños and Serranos used by most Mexican restaurants, these chilis are actually flavorful vs scorching hot. I had the chicken fajitas and loved them. The chicken and bell peppers and onions are not sitting in grease and mushy. They are very flavorful and cooked just right. Not over cooked and mushy. The refried beans were the perfect side dish. The flour tortillas were not paper thin or wildly thick. Just between the two and they were served warm and fresh. Also flavorful we ordered the green chile queso and it was very tasty! The service was top notch. The restaurant and bathrooms very clean. As soon as you walk inside the restaurant, you smell the favors. Made my mouth water. The complimentary salsa and chips were refilled for us as we ate them all! They were really good too! I enjoyed everything about this place and will definitely be back soon.
google avatar

Sheridan B.

Yelp
I hadn't eaten here in years, but we went this week for lunch and were all pleasantly surprised! Three of us started with their green Chile white queso (mild) and it was excellent. The portion was large enough that we didn't finish it, though it was good enough that we wanted to. I had a lunch portion of their frito chili pie, and it came served right in the bag! The pie had tons of toppings included and was a massive portion-- I can't imagine how big the dinner size would be. All in all, the prices were fair and the food good enough that we might add it into our regular rotation.
google avatar

Cam C.

Yelp
I've tried more than one time to like this place because it is a locally owned restaurant. I am just not a mushy green chili texture person. The service is good. In the place is adorable. My favorite thing about this place is the cute tiki drinks. it's just a texture thing with me, but I don't like the food. Sorry :-(
google avatar

Yelp
The best authentic mexican food for oklahoma. They great polsole and green chili stew.

Yelp
The food, the service and the ambiance are all amazing. My kids who are picky loved it! We are excited they are so close to home.

Yelp
I had never been here before but I had friends and family who personally recommended it to me. It is so delicious and I love the ambiance and the amazing atmosphere of the restaurant. The food is so good and the service is great. I recommend the chips and salsa! :)
