First visit to Green Chile Love at about 7PM on Saturday evening was nice. They close at 8PM saturdays and we wanted dinner and were welcomed by the owner upon entering the restaurant. After looking at the take out menu online I was concerned there might not be much to order other than breakfast items but that wasn't the case. After talking to the owner he brought us samples of green chile bowl which is a soup-like mixture of green chile with pork and other ingredients. They have mild through extra hot of all the green chile dishes, I got hot and my wife got mild and we both liked it so we ordered entrees for dinner- I got the green chile combo plate which has pinto beans (delicious) , some green chile bowl, and potato, and a Mexican style rice, a long with tortillas. My wife got just the mild version of green chile bowl which had tortillas, and we got a cheese crisp with mild green chilies added. The food was great and the bill came to about $50 with tip and just water to drink Not complaining just a reference. Ioverall our visit was great and I think my next visit will be for breakfast, I'm eager to try their version of huevos rancheros! Thanks for the great hospitality and green chile food!

Green Chili Love – A Cozy Gem for True Chili Fans After moving away from New Mexico, I've been on a constant quest to find a place that can truly satisfy my cravings for authentic green chili. Green Chili Love not only hit the mark—it brought me back home. The atmosphere here is open, welcoming, and has a cozy, homey charm that instantly puts you at ease. Whether you're dining solo, with kids, or meeting up with friends, it feels like the kind of place where you're treated like family. We ordered the kids' bean, cheese, and rase burritos (a hit with the little ones), the vegetarian burrito with extra hot green chili, and a chicken taco salad. The food was solid all around—fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully made. As a vegetarian, it was a relief and delight to find out their beans are lard-free, and the option to add chopped fresh roasted green chili was a real bonus. The highlight of the meal? When I mentioned to the owner that the chili wasn’t quite as spicy as I expected, he came back with a sample of “Dave’s Spiciest Green Chili”—and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. It packed the heat and flavor I’ve been chasing since leaving the Southwest. What makes this place even more special is its story—they started out as a food truck (which they still run) and just opened this brick-and-mortar location five months ago. It’s clear they’ve poured their heart into it. If you're a fellow green chili lover, vegetarian, or just looking for a great local spot to support, Green Chili Love should be at the top of your list. It’s everything a neighborhood restaurant should be—warm, flavorful, and full of passion. Highly recommended. Support local. Support flavor. Support Green Chili Love.

Green Chile Love is a true gem! I'm speechless - this place is amazing from top to bottom. The fresh, hatched chili creations are incredible, and my family and I are obsessed. From the Hatch Green Chile Double Smash Burger to the burritos, breakfast sandwiches, and everything in between, the food is consistently amazing. This is a must-visit restaurant that I'd happily eat at every single night and day. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the fact that it's family-owned adds to its charm. Dave, the owner, is awesome, so be sure to say hi if you get the chance. If you can't make it to the restaurant, don't worry - they also have a food truck that attends local events, so check their schedule. They even offer catering services, which they've done for my family with great success - they rocked a graduation party for over 100 people! Don't miss out on Green Chile Love - it's a culinary experience you won't regret!

Amazing. The service, the food, everything. The lady who took my order (sadly forgot her name) offered me a sample of the green chile to assist my order?! Everyone there showed genuine care and love, and it was awesome. I had the Mexican Burger and it was so unique - a bursting bundle of flavor wrapped in a lovely toasted tortilla. Absolutely will be back, thanks so much guys.

Kayla was very helpful and friendly. I went with the small green chile breakfast burrito. Delicious breakfast. She told me they just opened the restaurant two weeks ago, after years of having a food truck. This location is not far from me, and I am so glad I found it. I ordered hot. I love really spicy food. I found it flavorful but not overwhelming hot. The owner Dave came and checked with me, when I told him it wasn't super hot, he brought me extra spicy to add to the remainder. I felt that heat. The mix with eggs and potatoes and nice tender pork was perfect! I am not a big eater, so the small burrito was still more than enough. Be careful if you come try it, you might get addicted. I know I will be back when I can. If you come in and see a line, you can skip it with the qr code on all the tables. Thank you both! I hope to see you soon! Update we got the breakfast bowls, extra hot, these had kick and such delicious flavor, now that I bought the Misses, we will be coming back, I knew she would love it. They live up to their name! Took a bottle of green chile sauce home. Tried the Chipotle, it also had great flavor and 4 out of 5 heat level. I will get one to take next visit. This was a Saturday around 9am, this new place is already very popular, but despite the restaurant being full, it was a short wait and we'll worth it!

So here we go again. With a hole in the wall you guys gotta try. My wife invited me to lunch so we came here to Green Chile Love in Chandler. The Enchiladas were great per my wife. As for my burger it was good too, but I am a little disappointed with the spiciness of the chile. I like my chile to burn. Unfortunately the hot nor the extra hot had any spice to them. Maybe we came on a bad day I don't know, but I'm leaving disappointed because of that. Other than that the food had a good flavor, and the service was good. They just gotta step up the chile game. If they wanna be called Green Chile Love 😢

Google
Yum! The chorizo burrito was well made, very neat and tasty. I was given a sample of the green chili and I can only imagine how delicious it would have been if I had ordered the burrito smothered with it. It was so big that I only finished half and took the rest to go. I took the menu home and will definitely return to try a dish with hatch chili.

Google
New location, was just food truck. Friendly and helpful staff. Food was great. Some unusual items like Mexican Hamburger Handheld - 2 beef patties, refries, cheese, green chilies, folded inside a flour tortilla - very good & filling too. Green chilies come in 4 levels of heat. Caution salsa comes in 1 level of heat. Burger comes with chips & Salsa. Was told you can now order online for pickup in store. Only open 7am - 2pm Tues-Sunday. We will be back!

Yelp
Every week I have take out tacos with family. That's been going on for about a year & a half. We've tried several places, this is about top of the list. Since I didn't eat in I can't comment on what it's like inside. Story I heard was that they were a truck that established a brick & mortar. I've got a lot of respect for that, and makes me root for them even more.

Yelp
This company now has a storefront at 4025 E Chandler Blvd., Suite #5, Phoenix, AZ 85048. We have been eating at the food truck for YEARS and I'm happy to report that the food in their new restaurant is just as delicious!! The same food truck recipes with some expanded menu items. Our favorite is the green chile pork breakfast burrito, with 1/2 and 1/2 (half spicy, half mild) and add carne. So good! Very filling - i can't eat a whole one in one sitting.

Vina H.

Yelp
Never been to the brick and mortar but visited food truck in the past. Pleasantly surprised to have the owner at the counter. So fun to talk with him. Food was fantastic and heat was appropriate. Green hatch Chiles are perfectly balanced in the food. While waiting, I was offered water or coffee. Price was great because it was lunch and a mid afternoon snack. Definitely going back!!

Niousha P.

Yelp
The food was so authentic and super tasty. I have been there multiple times and tried various dishes. From chicken taco salad to the green chilly wrapped burger everything is yummy. Highly recommend it and the owner is very friendly and genuine. We can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Customer service is awesome, the ambiance is inviting, the food is delicious. Amazing light flavors! I was expecting something different With the texture of the eggs and potatoes in the bowl. Definitely different from the burrito. Will I come back again? Of course. I need to try more.

Yelp
Cute little restaurant with a hefty selection of food items. Extremely friendly and helpful service. Creative menu items will entice me back again in the near future to try more. Had the Mexican Hamburger Handheld with a side of fries and guacamole. The burger was so unbelievably juicy, tasty, and filling. Im stuffed now-- food coma time!

Yelp
Good green chili. Friendly staff. A little expensive. Haven't been back yet but plan to.

Yelp
Customer service is excellent, food was or is Great! I will be back, for more try outs. Had the lunch special green chile cheeseburger

Yelp
Ok so this gem was quite a surprise. I had tried some of their fare when they were a food truck and I loved it. I did not know they had opened a restaurant. I rarely eat burgers but was craving one, so I stopped in and ordered a double patty green chili burger which came with rice and beans ( there are other options for sides). The burger was no less than delectable. Toasted buns, a perfect light white cheese, tomatoes, green chili. Simple and perfect. Plenty of food but not overwhelming. Beans and rice understated but excellent when green chili hot sauce added. All for $15, about as good as it gets. I daresay it was the best burger I've had in many years. My friends tell me they have an excellent chorizo chili burrito and green chili pork burrito as well. Small space but homey, trust me and just get there:).

Yelp
Dave and staff are great but the food is even better. Chicharrones xtra hot burrito was so good. Visit often and try different dishes. All delicious!

Yelp
If you love authentic Hatch green chile, run (don't walk) to Green Chili Love! This place is the real deal when it comes to authentic, flavorful green chile dishes. From burritos to bowls to taco salads, everything is packed with incredible taste and feels genuinely homemade. The carne asada is absolutely delicious -- perfectly seasoned and juicy -- and their fresh salsa is bursting with flavor, a perfect match for some of the best tortillas I've ever had. On top of the amazing food, owner Dave goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. He's genuinely friendly, remembers his customers, and truly cares about the community. Green Chili Love supports volunteer fundraising efforts and donates food to help those less fortunate, which makes supporting them feel even better. Bottom line: amazing green chile, warm hospitality, and a business with a heart. Can't recommend it enough!

Yelp
This place is the real deal. We love green. But mine real love it red. Their's was about as close to homemade as you can get. The owner was awesome and very nice. Ended up a few us customers started talking because New Mexican food is something that we can all have in common. Very unique to say the least.

Yelp
We just went yesterday for the first time and I have a feeling we will become regulars!! This is not FAST food, carefully made it's a bit of a wait, but worth it! Super affordable and tasty. The rolls had soft texture with some fire to them, be sure to try one. We had the breakfast burrito and the SALSA was delicious! I would highly recommend!!!

Ernest J.

Yelp
Nice very clean place. I had the green chilli bowl. The flavor was outstanding. My first visit but not my last.
google avatar

Ian S.

Yelp
Very small place but the food was great according to my partner as I have never had New Mexican food, however we went the next day as well, so yes the food is great, and very highly recommended

Yelp
Delicious food and authentic Mexican cuisine with a twist. Tasty green chile with a bold, spicy, and fresh flavor. Our food was ready in about 10 mins. Service was great with kind employees. Also have a nice mural on the wall with a cozy ambiance.

Yelp
Ok! So I lived in Colorado for about 5 years and I have been craving these things for sometime! The owner is super cool! Takes pride in doing it right! It is right outside a coffee shop that has really good coffee! This was the ideal stop, good people/good food/ good times! The burritos were just the way I remember...smothered! If you want unique cuisine Colorado a style with the Hatch of perfection- get the 1/2 & 1/2! Da Bomb! You will not find a better breakfast burrito in Arizona!

Yelp
Delicious food, friendly service. Looking forward to my next visit as I work my way through the menu!

Marge P.

Yelp
Ordered a pint of hot green chili. Got it home and it was anything but hot. I called, & the owner said I know it was hot , I made it. Sorry.it was not hot at all. Left me pretty sad, because I liked the chili, but I also like to get what I pay for.

Paula W.

Yelp
I ordered the green chile pork burrito. It was huge but mostly eggs and maybe 5 tiny pieces of pork in the entire burrito. No flavor at all. In my opinion make it smaller, and add more pork and green chile. $17 for the burrito and a coffee. So disappointing and a waste of money.

Michael B.

Yelp
What a catastrophic disappointment my first and last visit became. I was told green chili without other ingredients would not hold up in the tortilla like every other I've ever had in fifty years of GC burritos in the valley. I settled for a carne asada burrito. 35 minutes later, the cook comes outside where my daughter and I have waited while no one was in line. He is completely confused about a carne asada burrito that the female owner approved. What we both received were bowls of cold slop. No idea what it was. Didn't include the drink I paid for so $35 for nada. Never again!!

Yelp
Amazing spot. Went to their annual Green Chili festival. Lines were long cause they are amazing! Love seeing small biz thrive. If you ever see them it's worth the wait!

Yelp
They were at the Amadio Ranch Heritage Farm today and I'm so glad they were! I grabbed a bag of their roasted Hot Hatch Chiles and they were delicious! For the most part they were pre-peeled so I could eat them straight away. When I went home, I made sandwiches with them using biscuits, and cheese. And I'm going to make a Hatch Chile pizza with the rest! Well priced, and great service! If you want to see where they'll be check out their calendar on their website. Oh they also roast Mild Hatch Chiles, and have a food menu.

Marsha W.

Yelp
Green chile love was present at Transportation Day. Ordered the green chili burrito to share. The burrito lacked flavor and was comparable to stew. Very runny. Service was horrific. The gentlemen working was extremely rude. Hot tip! Don't work in the service industry if you're simply bothered by the presence of patrons.

Tina T.

Yelp
I have always loved Green Chili Love food from their truck (anything with the mild or 1/2&1/2 green chili) so I hired them to cater my daughter's graduation party and they knocked out of the park!!! They set up a taco/burrito/nacho bar with all the sides and condiments. Every one of our friends went back for seconds (or third and fourths )! Soooo yummy Dave and Michelle were so awesome to work with. They helped me pick the menu and were just so great through the whole process. I was super excited when they asked me to try a new product they are testing, Hatch Green Chili Beef Jerky, and OMG, my new favorite!! I really hope this becomes part of their regular offerings.

Yelp
This is the second time I've had their food and I was not disappointed. Today we ordered two Green Chile breakfast burritos with carne asada, one mild and one spicy. Both were fantastic but I do have to say my favorite is the spicy. If you get a chance to try their food you will not be disappointed. I'm looking forward to the next Tim they are at Amadio Ranch. Sorry I don't have any pictures, they were gone before I thought about it. Next time

Yelp
My husband picked us up green chile breakfast burritos near the Jamba Juice on Ray Rd and Ranch Circle on Saturday. It was so good! The green chile sauce in the breakfast burrito was very tasty. It came with eggs, potatoes, and chicken. I highly recommend. I'll definitely want to order that again soon.

Yelp
Overall the customer service was pretty good, but im so sorry! this food was rough.. a group of about 6 of us ate there, and its very bland and not so good. I had the Smoothered Burger and the Nachos. Nachos - very warm and skimpy on the steak, sauces and cheese, 90% chips Burger - the green chile is just rough, maybe 2 pieces of meat and the green chiles in it were a miss for me, not too much flavor. the side of Rice was very generic and not much flavor there Sadly, our whole group thought the same, i felt sick after eating Overall: 3/10

Yelp
This little food truck is the best offer of green chile in Arizona. Funny their name says it all. We had given up finding truly HOT green chile in Phoenix and usually have to wait for us to get it when we visit New Mexico. Not any longer. This food truck is phenomenal! We first tried it for breakfast. Buzzed Goat another great place for cold brew, brings then in frequently. WOW! The chile was actually hot and oh so tasty! Nothing beats hot green chile. They are not out and about often here, but when they are we make it point to order. They are always quick, efficient and friendly. The chips and salsa which we got to try yesterday was very tasty as well. HOT! Too much cilantro, I know there is not such thing but I have the gene that tastes soap when my tongue meets cilantro. dh does not have the gene so he gets it all to himself. I have had the breakfast burrito and it is HUGE! I get breakfast and lunch later! I have also had the green chile burrito. Again the heat selection is up to you, but we always get hot. Never a disappointment. DH had the green chile burger. He gives it his approval as well. Now we follow the calendar of where they will be next! Gotta love Green Chile Love.

Jennifer B.

Yelp
Yesterday we tried Green Chile Love and it was fantastic! I had a breakfast burro and it was huge, very filling, and delicious. I then finished it for lunch. Literally enough burro for two meals. Also, their salsa was great too! Highly recommend you follow this food truck and try any of the items (my friends had the breakfast bowl and quesadillas). The owners are lovely people and you can tell they care about the products they sell.

Justin R.

Yelp
Great green Chile! They truck it in fresh from New Mexico. Owners are super nice as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Its a must try! Exceeded my expectations and we tried basically the whole menu. They took sanitation and safety very seriously.
google avatar

Heather B.

Yelp
This place was DELICIOUS! They were very sanitary and wore PPE regarding COVID concerns, they were friendly, and the food was outstanding. We had the breakfast bowl and the vegetarian quesadilla. I can not wait to find their food truck and eat there again! Plus, I love supporting small businesses like this.
