After my experience at Green Cuisine and reading the reviews, I don't think the owner, John, is understanding the areas of his business that require much improvement. I recommend, instead of running around like a chicken without a head, he should keep staff focused, and identify the immediate needs of the customer. Instead, he is not utilizing any management skills.
Customer service: We were not greeted by server... in fact, we were told to take a table. Server did not provide menus until I had to wave her down... after placing our order, I asked specifically for certain side (dressing for my salad) when the food came... no dressing and had to wait, again, until I had to wave the server down... really can't eat salad without some dressing. Oh, and had to get up and ask the server for utensils. When I did get the dressing, it tasted awful. I was so frustrated and loosing my patience. I returned my WAY OVER priced salad! John apologized profusely but I felt it was an "act" to coverup the inefficiency of his business. I thought he was rude when two customers came in at 7:55pm and told them that the restaurant is closed! The customers stated that it was before 8pm. Turning customers away. So, in short, the service stinks, the food was nothing special and wayyyy overpriced! Being in business for this long, they have not excelled even a niche business. The atmosphere is sandwiched shop at best but doesn't warrant the prices on the menu. Two shrimp cocktails, chicken sandwich and shrimp salad... $96...no thanks to a second chance. We are residents and love trying new restaurants but this one is a bust!
