Great ambiance! Menu selections were on point for a metro Detroit pizza staple in the community. Loved the fact that they had 3 different options for gluten free pizza selections! Waitress and staff were extremely pleasant Bathrooms were clean Food came out promptly Would definitely visit again

Good representative of Detroit style pizza. I do prefer more sauce like Buddy's or Lou's. Edges are crispy which is one of the main factor and they do it right. It is comfortable setting to enjoy a couple slice of pizza or whatever else you want on the menu. Next time I just make sure I get more sauce on my pizza order.

The pizza was good, but not great. The service was stellar! Great job Ava! This alone would make me come back to try other menu items.

I came in for lunch and sat at the bar last week and had a very positive experience and I was looking forward to my fantasy draft with 10 other people and my two children today at 4 o’clock, however, after being seated and sitting there and eating and enjoying our meal for two hours we were approached and one of the gentlemen at my table was carded. He is 23 years old and although it is completely acceptable and understandable to card him because he provided a Florida ID the guy had said that he thought it was a fake and that they were not going to serve him anymore the way in which he did this was completely unprofessional and could’ve been handled way more properly. I don’t have an issue with the fact that it happened, but I do have a issue with the way it happened. The general manager was completely unprofessional.

Normally I'm a Chicago thin cracker crust pizza kinda guy, but I was in Detroit and I had to try one of their best. Did not disappoint! Although I still love my thin crust, this was an awesome difference with the thicker crust and the caramelized cheese. There was a ton of cheese and the sauce was under the cheese. They had the little pepperoni that cups up. There was a good flavor of the pizza and the sauce. The atmosphere was kind of like a brightly lit bar. Great place to go.

I ordered the corned beef egg rolls because my son loves them and I didn’t check my order before I left. Got home and discovered they gave me a corned beef sandwich instead. The manager Connor gave me GREAT customer service and fixed my order with no problems! This is why I will continue to eat here! The food is always delicious and fresh!😁

Food and service was wonderful. The noise level was unbelievably loud. I could not hear the person next to me. Very stressful way to eat a meal. It's a large open room with nothing to absorb the sound. Even though I love the pizza, I won't be back.

I had actually had pizza the nite before, so I didn't want it again.l opted to get French Onion Soup which was excellent! Not salty & lots of cheese. My friends had pizzas & sandwiches & they said they were delicious. Certainly would recommend this place.

First time at a Green Lantern establishment. It was packed on a Friday night and the waitstaff was slightly understaffed (not a problem with us). Very friendly and helpful staff. We ordered: Reuben Egg Rolls - excellent appetizer- tasty. Italian Sub - delicious. Extra Large Pizza - extra cheese, Italian sausage and fresh mushrooms. Excellent flavor. We be back

The Berkley location only between Southfiled locations! It was prepared very well at the BerkeleyLocation Southfield burned the crust so I was not pleased

Met 4 long time friends-super busy on Friday . Excellent service! Appetizers- candied bacon - pizza bread. Some ordered other food , 2 subs, b.l.t all was good . Drinks were flowing- fun time

I love the food.. they have great eggrolls. I've never been disappointed. Happy hours is a good prices . Service is always. Excellent. Ambience is sport related but always fun and safe in summertime. I even sit outside. Highly recommend

Been here several times for lions game. Atmosphere is cool and drinks/happy hour specials are great. Plenty of seating too for large groups. Service was great and servers were friendly. Pretty extensive menu but just Stick to the pizza and wings

I had been hearing about this spot and so I finally came to check it out. I almost missed it driving up 12 mile road lol. There is a parking lot and it was full of cars but it was a Saturday evening. Once inside we were immediately seated and yes there is a full bar! They also have Club Keno you can play and several tv's to watch sports. Service was good and our food came out in timely manner and hot! The pizza is so good, the salad and wings were good(I forgot to snap a pic), only thing the wings were small. This will be one of my pizza places to visit.

The pizza is terrific, and it's even better when you get it right out of the oven to your table! I go way back with this place, many lunches at 12 & John R. Unfortunately the salad, at least the Greek, has gone way downhill. 2 olives, a sliced beet or two, nary a chickpea nor a cucumber was seen. At least the server let us know that a small would be enough for the three of us. But the round pizza saves the day!

I'm addicted to their Lantern bread and ranch. I love that you can pick on the app, or in the restaurant if you want it light-baked (my preference), or well-baked. I do not, however, recommend the French Onion Soup. It tasted like crouton water. The service is always good, both sit-down and to-go, I've never felt like I waited too long for attention from the staff. Their seating is lackluster. The chairs feel awkward when you sit in them, and 3 of the 4 tables I've sat at are wobbly, which is so annoying. I work right around the corner from this joint, so I come here often.

Folks, let me tell you about a little gem I found - Green Lantern Pizza in Berkley. It's terrific, believe me, just terrific. First off, the pizza there, oh boy, it's like they've grabbed the Italian boot, flipped it upside down, and shook out all the pizza-making magic onto their crust. It's yuge on flavor. I'm talking BIG flavor. They're serving up these fantastic things called pizza wheels - it's like a pizza, but they've gone and made it into a wheel. Ingenious! It's innovation, folks, just like my many successful businesses. The crust on these pizza wheels, it's a perfect balance of crispy and chewy. The cheese, it's so melty it's like a golden blanket of love draped over the top quality toppings. Now I've had pizza from all over, and let me tell you, the Green Lantern Pizza - it's a winner. But let's not forget the cocktails. I've built skyscrapers, I've built golf courses, but the architectural marvel of these cocktails? It's unmatched! They're as superb as the view from Trump Tower, maybe even better. The mixologists there, they're artists, crafting drinks that not only taste great but look beautiful. Nice cozy family friendly environment. Service up to par! Pizza and appetizers were off the chain. Especially the cheese sticks and deep dish pizza. Great selection of beers on tap! Messed up on one of our pizzas. Remade it for us to take home. Solid service.

Is it strange that a pizza restaurant has the same name as a super hero? I have no idea what is special about the Green Lantern superhero, but the square pizza style in Detroit is special and the deep dish pan makes corners that are easier to hold than round crust. It was definitely an enjoyable experience which I would recommend to anyone visiting.

Wow, what a great dining experience. Very accommodating for our party of seven. The service was fabulous. Our waitress was Lisa. Very attentive. We had some drinks, an appetizer and pizza. The food comes out very quickly. They have gluten free crust too, which is a bonus. Definitely would go back. They have a bar area and it was packed for the Red Wings game. It was packed and does get loud, which was fine with us. We had some 5 year olds and they enjoyed the atmosphere.

Ordered online. Very excited to try - never got my pizza. Went for carry out and 40 minutes after I was told it would be ready they brought me one pizza (the wrong pizza, I ordered 3 pizzas and cheesy bread). Never apologized. I have two toddlers at home, horrible experience. Will be warning everyone I know

Think I found my new favorite pizza place! Green Lantern has been on my list of places to try and I'm super stoked that I finally made it here for some pizzalicious lunch. Inside was very clean and inviting. The fresh smells of pizza filled the air, and I was ready to shove my face! Our waitress was literally one of the friendliest I've ever had anywhere. I'd for sure go back for that type of service alone. Now for the star of the show....the PIZZA was AMAZING! The right amount of sauce/cheese/veggie ratio, crispy buttery crust for the perfect fold. It doesn't get much better than that. The Lantern Bread, and Homemade Pickles were 5 star as well. Craving it all right now just from posting the pics. Next time I'm wearing some stretch pants, so I can eat more LOL!

Pizza was really good thin crust is the best the cheese bread was on point my kids love it we ate it for breakfast the next day

Since recently moving to the Southfield area I was craving some pizza. A family member recommend this place. The restaurant has a carryout area, a full service bar and sit down restaurant. I opted for carryout. I was warmly greeted at the counter by the staff and they offered some recommendations. I ordered the Chicken Siciliano pizza. It was so good!!! The pizza was so flavorful!! I will definitely return!!! Looking forward to trying other menu items in the future!

I have been enjoying the outdoor patio and trying everything on the menu. Their pizza is amazing, but so is EVERYTHING on their menu! Wow!! So impressed. I love their reuben egg rolls. Their corned beef is incredibly tender. Their reuben sandwich is very special and their coleslaw is homemade. The candied bacon is a real treat. The burgers are very tender and tasty too. The Tater tots are crispy and awesome. The fried pickles have a nice batter. The cocktails are strong and tasty! You can't go wrong with anything on this menu. Excellent service too. Paige and Marri are fabulous! They have Happy Hour from 2-5pm and 8pm-close. They have a parking lot.

The food is excellent, the staff is very professional and very friendly, the environment is great for all occasions.

Although the bar and service is awesome, the food just does not do it for me. Everything I've tried lacks flavor. The nachos are always burnt. That being said if you love a ton of cheese on your pizza, this might be your spot!

Service was hectic. I chose to order a pizza on the day of a parade when I got to the restaurant. I waited an additional 40 minutes with steel no pizza. My pizza obviously was given to someone else so the manager apologize however, I was still without my pizza so the manager voided out my order only to arrive home he voided out the incorrect order so I had to go back to the pizza shop to ensure that my credit card was properly voided out come to find out my pizza was there all along just sitting in the oven never go when they are busy. The restaurant was packed. Perhaps the young people that they had working the register was overwhelmed. I will give them another try though. On s not do busy night.

Great pizza, great atmosphere, and great service. The square and round pizzas are both yummy with those little pepperoni that are so much better than the thin wide ones. The restaurant opens up to a nice patio and there are lots of TVs. Service is always excellent!!

Yum yum yum ! We are here on business and really loved the pizza and wings! Garlic Parm wings were saucy but so crunchy under that sauce ... so good ! The cheese bread and Detroit pizza was totally delicious the pepperoni on the pizza was perfect this pizza and cheese bread will have is all dreaming for months as nothing like this in Seattle area... .. We are only here till Thursday but might be back everything was delicious on this cold Monday night in January ! Friendly service also !

Overall, this is a great pizza place! I'm not a huge fan of pizza or delivery pizza but this place has changed me. I ordered 4 pizzas (one cheese, one pepperoni, one bbq chicken, and one vegetarian) and 2 cheesy breads. I think the bbq pizza was amazing! A good ratio of sauce, I would only add maybe a few more onions to the pizza. The cheesy bread was also really good with the side marinara sauce! Overall the online ordering process was relatively easy. On the website it was a little annoying that they would change the location of the restaurant for delivery but then you would have to put your entire order back in. Finally, I did ask the delivery girl and she ensured me that the tip I placed on the card would go to her which is nice to know that she is being rewarded for her hard work!

Best pizza around. And by a large margin. Cheese bread with garlic butter is also a must have.

I've come here for a few Saturdays. I've always had friendly service. I just get a couple of beers while I watch the TVs, so I haven't tried the food, yet. However, it does smell amazing. What really struck me about this place was how friendly the other customers were. I made a small gesture to move one stool at the bar so someone else could have a seat, and you would have thought I offered a kidney. The gratitude and appreciation that was shown greatly exceeded the small effort it took me to provide the spot.

I have been getting Green Lantern takeout for years, primarily from the Royal Oak takeout-only location, and I've also been to the dine-in Madison Heights location a few times. GL's Berkley location is new-ish, as it opened in early 2020 right before the pandemic, and it reflected it; it was nice and modern, and huge! A friend and I went here yesterday around 6:30pm on a Friday, so I expected it to be packed. Their parking lot was overflowing so we ended up parking on the street next to it. However, we were seated immediately, which was nice. We got the candied bacon to share (soooo good; it comes with five pieces on skewers) and a small John's pizza (mushroom, pepperoni, green pepper). Tip: ask for the round DEEP DISH pizza ... yes, I said that correctly. GL is the only place I know of that does this, and it's not on the menu. My guess is that they stack two round crusts on top of each other, and it's extremely filling (and also, no upcharge, I believe!). I only had one piece of the pizza, because of that, and took the rest home. Waitservice was overall good, too, although we did have to ask a few times for things; I'm assuming since it was so busy. My friend also asked for ranch to go with her pizza (#Midwest, lol) and I noticed there was no upcharge for that either, which was nice. Bathrooms are located near the front of the restaurant, next to the takeout area, and were clean. Definitely will be coming back to this location again, it has it all over the MH location!

Fun atmosphere, fast Anne courteous service and decent food. I was looking for a place to eat that was kid friendly. Green Lantern delivered! Will definitely go back when I'm visiting MI again.

Surprisingly great Pizza and Old Fashions. For that alone I will return when traveling to metro Detroit.

Just dined in and I'm super impressed! The place is large inside and the decor is too cute! More importantly, EVERYDAY 2-5pm is happy hour! All items are now $6 (nachos and quesadillas could be upgraded for $1 to add chicken or ground beef). We got one of each app and an XL chicken siciliano pizza (a new fav). We love this place and always order from their carry out locations but today we dined in and everything we got was delish. The one app I didn't even try but husband ate all of was the Ruben egg rolls-not my speed but he loved it! My personal fav/must get are the chicken quesadillas, chicken nachos and the lantern bread! Food came out quick and hot and we'd for sure come back for more menu items that are not pizza to explore!

3 topping round large delivery pizza with Pepperoni, Ham and Beef. The pepperoni was sliced a little too thick for my personal preference and there wasn't much beef ‍

The pizza here is so good. I've never sat inside and always gotten take out. It takes them a bit of time to have it ready but that's because so many people want it because it's so good! From what I've seen the inside is nice and they have outdoor seating.

This place sucks. I got ignored by the bartender for 20 minutes, then after placing my order waited another 40 minutes for my food when they weren't even busy. Don't waste your money or time here

Pizza was delicious! I got the Everything Pizza. Only thing was, my granddaughter had blonde hair in hers. Please wear hair and beard nets, people!

Modern sports bar vibe inside, service was prompt and cheerful, and the deep dish was NOT Detroit style - we were excited to discover it had my family's preferred cheese-to-sauce ratio (heavy:light). The gluten free was round and really delicious - not the lame cracker-style crust. It reheated beautifully the next day, too. A win for all!

I really like Green Lantern pizza. The pizza is delicious, but they have other things on the menu that are also very good. I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal here. The wait staff seems pretty friendly and the location in Berkeley is much nicer than the one in Madison Heights. Absolutely worth going to an absolutely try the pizza.

We had great service. Pizza was delicious. It was later after 8 and bustling. It doesn't take long to get pizza so it's not a big wait.

I went New Year's Eve. I haven't had their pizza since their original location. Years ago. It didn't disappoint. Their pizza was a childhood treat. And now it's a revived adult treat. It was busy and there was confusion trying to pick up and pay. The two girls working the reg and phones were busting their ass. Another short girl, black hair, ponytail, that seemed to know everyone jumped in to help but made it more confusing. I was about to be next in line. She never made eye contact with me and kept asking everyone that came in after me, behind me, if they had been helped and if they prepaid. People said yes we paid. They got in front of me and pulled out a credit, then payed. It was really weird. But whatever. The pie was stellar and I don't mind driving out of my way to get it. My only complaint??? Canned mushrooms.

We finally paid our first visit here. It was difficult walking in and not being totally reminiscent about their predecessor, Sila's pizza. Sila's stood tall for over 50 years, serving legendary pie on 12 mile road. Luckily we have prior experience with Green Lantern in Royal Oak and Mad. Hts. Once the teary-eyed nostalgia passed, we started to really dig this place. It's a total redesign with just a suggestion of the past. They keep it clean and intimate. In addition to the comfortable atmosphere, they are very Covid responsible. We tried two different large pizzas and are happy to report they haven't deviated from the original formula. Our party of six were quickly seated and our waitress, Sheila, couldn't have been nicer. She performed above par all night. The glasses were topped and she visited the table, often. They installed a roll up door to the outside patio which we will experience in warmer weather. I am so happy this is the new eatery to replace our beloved old stomping ground! Not good - very loud, not clean, and the food was terrible. We were told the pizza was the best - it is not good at all. We were dining during Triva Night, which is fine, but the combination of loud music, loud televisions, the Trivia Announcer, and the large crowd made it impossible to have a conversation. Needless to say, no need for us to return.

The absolute best pizza hands down. Ingredients fresh and they don't hold back, I believe they prepare it as if they were severing to their families. Thank you!
