Green Meadow Farm

My 'Ace' and I stayed in a camper on the grounds of the Green Meadows Farm, a serene experience. Hospitality is inviting, warm, & authentic. We spent time with the animals. I took a beautiful bike ride at dawn; saw the sun rise in this green countryside. The area is picturesque. We took a wagon ride into the sunset. An epic recharge. A self-care treat. Highly recommended!

When we were in Amish village we had to go here and there to find a place to take a buggy ride, most of the places were closed/ unattended. Then we luckily find this place. We had a fantastic ride at Green Meadows farm with Ruby girl. Host is super friendly. Highly recommend.

Do not come on a Sunday. If Dorothy or her husband can't be found working, knock on the door of the brick house. Per Dorothy, rides are $12 per person. She can take up to 3 at a time.

Please DO NOT come here. Especially as a woman. I rented an Airbnb here. It was just my kids and I that stayed on the camper. The owner Merle made me very uncomfortable. We stayed overnight and the next morning I was walking around the farm looking at the horses. He caught me off guard, completely scared me when I was in the barn. The barn is not lit, so it was kind of dark. He asked for a hug and I was terrified to say no. The way he hugged me was very tight and he was caressing his hands up and down my arms. I reported it to Airbnb, but of course they still allowed him to have his listing up. he even called me and I still have the voicemails. I never gave him my number. He said that he wanted to be friends and that he wanted me to come back. I am so thankful that nothing worse happened to me and my kids. Shame on Airbnb, even with proof of voicemails, they still let these predators do business with them. STAY FAR AWAY!

Three of us gals took our 93 year old friend for a buggy ride to celebrate her birthday! Merle and Dorothy were very hospitable and made the buggy ride a very enjoyable experience for us! Thank you for making it memorable for our friend.

Nice place. You can buy yogurt and kefir see animals and also they can give you ride in bugy.

It is a nice 10 minute ride for 10 dollars per person. It's ok. Very short ride, but interesting.

Such a cool experience at Green Meadow Farm. Arthur is a very unique town with a thriving Amish community, and seeing the buggies driving around town is near, in and of itself. But my kids really wanted to take a ride! Luckily, we saw a sign on the side of the road that led us to this quaint little farm where we could actually take the buggy ride for ourselves! I think we only paid about $5 per person & it was well worth it. The kids loved it and, honestly, so did I. I definitely recommend this unique experience.
