Green Mill Restaurant & Bar

I have been hearing a number. I’ve always enjoyed my food! Have a great selection of pizzas and other food items. One of my favorite sandwiches is their club sandwich. I also love The cheese curds with ranch dressing. Staff have always been friendly and kind, we are always say and served in a timely manner.

Excellent flavor and so many options on the menu. We enjoyed salads(coconut chicken salad dressing is amazing) and the rigatoni pasta. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Quick service. Lots of available parking.

Super bummed! We normally love GM pizza! But the last two times they’ve goofed up a “half cheese - half Hawaiian” pizza. And this time, you can tell that the staff noticed after, cut the pizza in half, pulled the toppings off one side, and added a small handful of cheese and melted the cheese slightly - and called it good. Slapped it back together with the other side of the pizza and sent it out to us. I’m truly not sure why a half cheese pizza has been messed up TWO times now? I selected all the correct boxes online. Triple checked. I even put a special note on it this time. The note read “Half Cheese Half Hawaiian —> cheese on one half, Hawaiian on the other half”. Really bummed. Paid too much for the pizza to come out like this.

Went there to celebrate my birthday and everything was great! Service was good, and the food was excellent.

Worst service I've ever seen. Had to ask another server to help our server so we could leave after an hour of waiting for our food. When we finally got the server to come over we had her box up the food due to needing to get going. Our food was absolutely disgusting (overly spicy and no flavor other than my pasta tasting like lemonade) and not worth the money spent or the time. We also never received our free wine, from the promotion going on.

I’m gonna be 100% honest this is possibly the worst deep dish I ever ate in my life. The dough wasn’t even cooked completely. Deep dish pizzas aren’t dry especially “Chicago style” $26 bullshit tbh. Cant speak on any other food here but a deep dish should have way more meat sauce and not dry. Also had to sprinkle Parmesan and red pepper heavy to get some type of flavor. Just being honest.

Did not catch his name. He was the bartender/manager 1-25 and 1-26. He is an absolute gem!!!! very positive guy and willing to talk to you like youre one on one while also servicing the rest of the bar. 30/10 sir!!!! look forward to talking next year.

Live in St Cloud. But had not been to the Green Mill for quite some time. We and another couple were looking for a place that served outside. The late September weather was gorgeous. Sienna was our server. She introduced herself and was joyful and helpful. I know it is more work for servers to tend outside diners but she was so attentive. The food was way above average, priced right and nice. We will be back.

I've been going to the Green Mill for about a year now and the staff is always so friendly! They are accommodating to your needs and were even helpful when I asked about gluten free options. The bartenders seem knowledgeable about the drinks and shots they're making, and make the guests feel comfortable! They also have a section dedicated to reservations for parties or celebrations which I thought is nice.

3 stars because the staff was awesome. Lovely and kind. The restaurant is obviously a dinner place by the looks of it. It's fine. Cozy enough. But as it's where we were told to have breakfast that's where I went. They get away with this because they have a captive audience. It's $13 for the breakfast "buffet" And for that that there were 4 troughs of food and a tureen of coffee and water. I urge you to try other places.

The food was delicious, the service was great, the price was reasonable and the ambiance was pleasant.

Came in for dinner last night, this was actually our 5th choice. But we were far from disappointed. Service was great! It was our servers first day on the floor. His knowledge of the menu was amazing and didn't even write down our order. Very attentive, making sure our glasses were full and just all over great attitude. Can't remember his name. Our food got to the table after some delay, our order got put in just moments behind a HUGE pizza order. I ordered a burger, perfectly cooked & seasoned, we also ordered a pizza, so tasty! Thank you for the great service, we will keep coming back.

Awful. First, it took 45+ minutes to get seated; it was busy so we were patient. Took 15+ minutes for the server to come over. Drinks were wrong, in fact when we ordered the server simply just said he didn't know what beer was on tap and left it at that.... And its fine is someone doesn't know something, but follow up and let us know when you check... customer service. The runner could not tell us which dish was what, and eventually he threw the food on the empty table next to us and just let it sit there and the best part was the food that we got was not rung in correctly. I cant make this up, this is literally how eating dinner here went. Not sure if this was the server's first night or what but yikes... this was a disappointing experience all the way around.

Decent pizza for restaurant pizza, located inside a hotel. It wasn't what we really wanted but it was post-beer pizza so who can really complain? The crust was a bit thick and reminded us of the type of crust you'll find in store-bought frozen pizza. Toppings were good and the sauce had balanced flavor. Would we go back again? Probably not, unless we had a ton of beer and desperately needed food. Because that happens.

I love the Green Mill. Great food, decent prices, good drinks, and they even have different daily specials on drinks and lunch! The service here was not good. They had ONE person serving everyone on a Friday. Not smart. Maybe it's due to the times... However, I don't think it deserves more than 4 stars. But definitely, not as low as two! The food is so good!

I came here a couple years ago and ate in the restaurant. It was okay, average food, service was good. Recently someone told me to give their pizza a try. So, we ordered pizza, picked it up and took it home. It was SO GOOD! Perfect sauce to cheese/topping ratio, fluffy crust! So glad we have them another try. This is probably my second favorite pizza in St. Cloud. We will be back!

ST PATRICK DAY DISASTER Well, it seemed as good as place as any for a bite to eat on the way home from the mall. Not here for SPD shenanigans', just wanted to feed the 6 yr old and 19 month old some dinner. One hour and 45 minutes later, time I will never get back, we left the restaurant. Frazzled. The reason for this marathon dinner with children was the fact that some line cooks called off on this holiday, presumably to go party themselves. At the very least, depending on past behavior, these employees should be written up for the situation they created for their co workers and customers. So irresponsible. Now, our server and all the other servers were doing the best they could, mostly apologizing! And the bartender was keeping up. However, one problem was that there was no social distancing, every booth was either in use or ready for use. It was busy, but not like a ST Pat's Day. Just average. I could see inside the kitchen from our table, and I could see only 1 poor cook back there, cooking like crazy, trying to keep up. He needs a raise. And the waitress confirmed the lack of staff, Now, the Manager On Duty should have thrown on an apron and helped the 1 cook. That is a manager job. The floor staff was fine, and our server could have handled the floor duties and her tables, she was experienced. Maybe I should have thrown on an apron and help make pizzas, maybe the MOD didn't know how. That was sarcasm. Kids got their food, good; daughter got her food, good;, and then my Coconut Chicken arrived. Is coconut chicken suppose to have black coconut on it? And be black all over? And taste burnt? I will say, the chicken was moist and tender, but had to pull all the burnt coconut batter off. Ick. So the waitress calls the MOD over, and he trys to convince me that it has been coming out looking that dark. Dark? BLACK!! Then to add insult to injury, he suggests that it is the type of oil they use in the fryer. He did take it off our bill. If Green Mill can't figure out how to prepare a dish without overcooking it to make the inside to temp, they should TAKE IT OFF THE MENU !!!!

The green mill is one of my most favorite restaurants because of their Diablo sauce. We arrived, and the entire parking lot was over full, people were parking in places that were not parking spots because the venue attached was throwing a party. I called the green mill and asked if they had a wait and they did not so we Found a parking spot and went in. We decided to sit at the bar which had three other patrons so it was pretty much empty. The spot we chose to sit was covered in crumbs. The bartender walked up and literally brushed all of the crumbs off of the bar rather than clean the bar, I was kind of surprised it wasn't clean already because the bar wasn't busy at all. I ordered a drink and then we ordered our food. My drink was empty along with everybody else's at the bar for at least 20 minutes before the bartender came back and finally asked if I wanted another drink, then, after 40 minutes and our food not being done yet, despite the restaurant being basically empty, the bartender advised us that the kitchen was very busy. I don't know if it's because they were catering the event or because of to go orders, I have no idea it really just made no sense, despite the bar and restaurant being fairly empty. The service was extremely slow and the the food took literally 50 minutes and all we ordered were wings, a side salad and a burger. I'll never go back. Oh I also need to mention that their patio door was broken or something so it was like 50° at the bar. It was absolutely freezing!

I stayed at the hotel for a vendor & craft show and this was the most convenient place without trying to unhook a trailer just to go eat. My husband and son ate lunch here -- husband had some kind of roast beef sandwich he said was excellent and my son had pizza and he loved it. We went back for supper -- husband had a chicken dish, I had a desert pasta (spicier pasta with shrimp) -- excellent dish -- and son had pasta & meatballs. Meatball was a little over cooked but other than that it was great! We ordered desert also, which was good. Our waiter was helpful and friendly and kept our water full. Maybe it's hit or miss (based on other reviews), but we didn't have any bad experience and would definitely eat here again!

Stayed at the hotel for a conference so I ate there 3 times. We didn't have a lot of free time. Meal 1 coconut chicken fingers and a coke. Bar tender helped us and everything was good. Meal 2 had the chicken parm, Undercooked pasta overcooked chicken and sauce that was not good. Person with me had spaghetti and meatballs, he didn't care for it. Meal 3 was breakfast, they were suppose to open at 630, didn't open til 645. Waited 20 minutes for coffee and 40 more minutes for scrambled eggs, potatoes bacon and toast. Not even luke warm, but by now we couldn't wait for warm food so I shoved it down military basic training style threw some money on the table and went to the conference. they were absolutely not prepared for serving breakfast, even though they had a condensed menu breakfast. We still tipped and payed out bill because it wasn't the waitresses fault, she was trying as hard as possible. Management just allowed them to fail.

Starts off with the negative and explains, but overall a great place. Sitting here now. A few people at bar. I ask bartender ( Morgan) if they have any other ciders. She states yes and says the names. I ask what kind of cider they are. She says "they're cider". I say well there's all different kinds like pear apple pineapple etc. she says really unprofessional and snotty "they're all cider and snuffs. I ask if I can see them then since she can't explain the difference. She did not seem too happy. Finally brings over menu and then doesn't return. We ask for a table since it had been a timed 8 min. I've been bartending for years and i like to give great reviews so people know where to go, so i pay attention to details. she made us feel like we were bothering her. Her statement "I'm sorry I was paying attention to my tickets" I was a smart ass and said I am sure it's hard to do your job. Then we left the bar because of horrendous service. Then Emma waited on us and made everything better. She was patient and let us tell her how rude Morgan was. She went out of our way to make us feel at home. We've honestly been here a week, and are here everyday. We have had some awesome service all week until Morgan the bartender. Yesterday there was a gentleman that was amazing but I didnt get his name. Thankyou for taking all of us Granite Games athletes in!

Food is good but trying to be refunded money from an erroneous credit card charge is not easy. You have to prove to THEM that they made a mistake, and there is no apology offered when they overcharge you. I felt like I was inconveniencing them to try to get my money back. Sad.

Could have been a lot better, we met some friends there as we were staying at the hotel. I ordered a Manhattan.... man was it off, I am pretty sure they didn't know what a Manhattan was. But I wasn't going to complain in front of our friends. Next time.. if you don't know what a drink is, ask someone or look it up in the book.

Was staying at BW when I decided to go get something to eat Sat for 10 minutes while the staff walked past me 3 times no acknowledgement Finally got bartenders attention He asked my server if he had seen me The server looked at me then turned to BT and said "yea I'll get to him in a minute " He only had 3 other tables Needless to say I walked out Will not be going back anytime soon The icing on the cake was the fact the manager was standing right there and did squat

Breakfast hours: 8am - 11 Saturday and Sunday. Bar doesn't open until 9, you can't get the special until 10, special ends at noon but you only get it with breakfast purchases?

They dropped my Patty on the floor fries were very cold and I got a piece of cheesecake because they gave me the dirty patty only good thing was service

Tough review here. We got wings and a deep dish pizza. The food is delicious, the service was horrible. Not many people in the place and it took 1 1/2 hours in and out. Waitress was nice, just left us waiting too long on several occasions. I'll give it one more try because we liked the food. I'd say the food is a 3 1/2. This time the service was a 1.

Absolutely horrible service and the food was awful. We arrived at 930 for breakfast at 950 a table of 6 arrived. We had already placed our order but the table of 6 was served first. After complaining to the waitress she explained the cook was confused. Several other tables complained of the same problem. When the food came out it was lukewarm at best and was blander than dog food. The night prior we were at the same hotel for a wedding. They had only one bartender on at this place and he was horribly overwhelmed. Needless to say several other local bars had good nights as many wedding participants went to them as they could not get served in this dump. It appears as though this place is terribly managed. If you are thinking of going here for anything stop and rethink your decision save your money and your frustration this place is not worth it

Foundation: Bread-like Mortar: Melty cheese Bricks: Layered, traditional Roof: Chunky, Tomatoey Style: Chicago Deep Dish We frequently hit Green Mill for a couple of reasons. They often have specials that help to trim your bill. We do like their pizzas, pasta, and their happy hour specials (half-priced appetizers and personal pizzas). Service has been hit or miss at times. The restaurant can also get loud. It's a farily typical restaurant/bar with several television screens for watching games. However, the patio is great during nice weather. Hit the Green Mill during Happy Hour and sit on the patio, and you can have a nice time. While we love the deep dish pizza, we don't always have the time (40 minutes) to wait for it. That's okay, because we enjoy their traditional crust pizzas as well. The appetizers tend to be very good as well.

Excellent service and food. Always enjoy the walleye dinner. Good size portions. Has an excellent happy hour and lunch menus.

We arrived around 4:30 and were promptly seated. It was a group of 10, but we planned to keep our order easy and order 3 XL pizzas to split amongst the table. We requested the tv channel change for the Wild playoffs game to be turned on, took about 20 minutes (and I'm being nice here) for the channel to be changed. An hour passed, we still had not received our pizza. We checked in with our helpful waiter and he went to double check for us. He came back and told us his boss said it would be another 20 minutes. We contemplated leaving then, but we decided to wait. Our timer went off and we promptly asked our waiter what the timeline was and he came back to let us know that the pizzas were never actually made, mind you, an hour and a half of waiting later. Obviously, we immediately walked out. We saw many other frustrated customers as well. The manager just didn't seem to be very concerned about the whole situation and even brushed the young waiter off who was inquiring about our food for us. Overall, an awful and disappointing experience. I wish I lived around here so I could save the time and trouble of more of the locals. This genuinely was the worst experience we have ever had a restaurant. Wow.

Used to enjoy their pizza. We always ordered their Margherita and sausage/onion on Pescara crust. It's gone down hill for months. Tonight the Margherita was soaked in oil to the point where the crust was soggy on the bottom and uncooked. The spicy sausage in the other pizza was dry as sawdust. Both sucked. We decided never again for this place.

We were first here when our niece's wedding guests stayed at the adjacent hotel a few years back. The other day we returned for lunch. The menu is extremely broad, the service pleasant with a nice pub-like atmosphere. We had buffalo wings which come with a choice of multiple sauces, onion rings, and Asian egg rolls to start. My caesar salad was excellent. A great place if you have a group with varied tastes.

Very disappointed with this place. After being seated we waited almost 10 minutes without anyone coming to take our order. I walked over to the hostess that seated us and asked if she could find a waitress for us. After a few more minutes I asked a waitress that walked by if she could find our server. Finally someone comes over to take our order. Normally I would leave a restaurant after about 5 minutes of no one coming to the table to tell us they would be right with us or whatever, but this place has gluten free options and I was pretty content watching the football game. Unfortunately the service never got much better. We had to constantly ask for refills (the glasses are small). There was one girl at the bar that did come over and refill our water a couple times without us having to ask and was very friendly but she was the only one. I ordered wings and they came out with no plates and were cold. I had to ask for a couple of plates the next time the waitress came back. The wings were also not hot enough. My pizza was way over cooked but my wife did enjoy hers. I do not recommend this location of Green Mills and will not return.

A big room that was mostly empty when I ate there. Attached to a Hotel. Nothing distinctive, save for their take on Jalapeno Poppers-wrapped in Bacon and huge-almost an entree. Service could have been better...

The Green Mill has a decent ambiance for a hotel chain restaurant, but I can't even say the food was decent. Calling the food edible would be too much of a compliment. The buffalo chicken wrap was DANGEROUSLY hot and the tortilla had the texture of taxedermied human skin. Not to mention, it was not served with ranch, which is a big faux paus considering it was buffalo after all. Next, the roasted asparagus pizza was DROWNED in Italian dressing. I assume it was on the 'light and fit menu' because I could only eat a few bites without literally gagging! The Western Mill burger, their signature burger, tasted like an old shoe sole. The cheddar cheese was absolutely nasty! Not even a rat would eat it. The bacon was soggy and wet. The pig who died for that bacon died in vain. The bun was stale and the fries tasted like cheap Ore-Ida oven fries. If I had to sum up our visit in two words, it would be 'no box!'

My aunt and uncle were in for a few days for my brother's wedding in St. Cloud. We stayed at the Best Western and we had a special deal, for $65 you get a room by the pool with an extra large pizza at Green Mill. My aunt and uncle got a room and my wife and I did. Cool....2 pizzas! We sat down for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty empty. We ordered Diet Cokes which were refilled all the time, which is always a plus. My wife doesn't eat cheese so we ordered a spinach and chicken pizza, but with cheese on only one half of the pizza. After about 15 minutes, our pizza comes out and it is prepared. It had the perfect amount of cheese and no cheese, but my only complaint was that the crust was a little too crispy, but my wife loved the crust, so all was awesome. The service both times we went (The second pizza was just as good) The service was so great, that it was a solid restaurant. TVs were everywhere, which also added to the ambiance.

Someone mentioned that the Green Mill in a St Cloud, MN was heard to have an above average Thanksgiving buffet. It turns out this advice was rather forgiving in its appraisal of the offering at this establishment. We were greeted by a hostess who showed us to our table, a setting akin to any cafeteria table at your local middle school. Once seated we were left to fend for ourselves. Obviously at a banquet style dinner one doesn't expect to order food, but perhaps a beverage would be nice? We began trying to make the most of it and dared ourselves to engage the oddly arranged presentation of isolated tables with a few of those unremarkable metallic food warming things placed on each. The turkey was over here, the gravy (using the term in only a way something out of a store bought jar could a describe) over there, the stuffing somewhere else, all surrounding the highlight of the operation... the dessert tray. After solving the plate filing puzzle that someone, somewhere dreamt up the night before the festivities began, amidst what had to be a heavily intoxicated haze, we found our way back to our table. The highlight was the ham, if only for the reason that I witnessed someone "carve" it off an actual ham. And after devouring said ham, I realized something; since we entered this hall, there has not been one member of what people in the food serving business call wait staff. We had no beverages, no stand to get a beverage, no person to get us a beverage, there wasn't even water, anywhere in the hall! Whatever we'll make the most of it. The conversation was a pleasant distraction from the dry, salt induced reality we found ourselves in. You know the feeling. That sensation brought on by eating processed food that had been tortured under the unregulated furnace that is one of those metal warming things. Parched is an understatement. One of our party had enough and went to the only employee we had seen since entering the hall, the hostess. And minutes later there was something amazing that happened... a second employee was witnessed, and she was headed our way! Sweet Jesus let it be true. Well, it did indeed turn out to be true. She took our beverage order and was off to procure that which was so entirely necessary to continue eating this high quality, err... food. A third employee made his way to our table and asked us for our beverage order?!? I struggled to free my tongue from the roof of my now dehydrated and glue-like mouth to explain to him that our order had already been taken and that the second employee should be bringing our drinks out shortly (please god, please). The third employee then mentioned that, get this, the second employee is actually the manager AND she told him to come take our beverage order because that is not her job. LOL, literally, I laughed out loud when he said that. So, not only did she not get our drinks, but she refused to even disseminate the ever so necessary drink order she had taken some time ago. This is management at it's finest, highly communicative, empowering, and goal oriented. Needless to say, the third employee eventually arrived with our drinks and promptly emptied his tray on the closest patch of table he could find and then POOF, he was gone. Fantastic, at least we have liquid. We have no idea which liquid belongs to who, but it's wet and in front of us, and we needed that. The entire table, almost in unison, gulped whichever glass was closest and we all smiled. Thirst quenched, we were left to evaluate whether a second trip to the feed bag was in order. Turns out, it wasn't, not for a single one of us, except one daring sole. And upon her bravery, there were a few other intrepid souls. My hat goes off to them as they forced their bodies to endure the trial they knew was ahead. I can only assume they were under the impression that at this point, beverages would be a regular feature of this dining experience. Sadly, they would soon learn that the arid, waterless existence of the very near past was but foreshadowing of the reality to come. The third employee never reappeared. The second employee was no where to be seen. And the sticky, paste-like film in their mouths was the parting gift, a gift thoughtful in its undeniable presence. It was made clear to us that our time of thankful revelry had passed, checks were strewn about our table, as a horde of minions began stacking chairs, breaking down tables, and doing whatever with what had been presented as "food". Needless to say, it will be a Thanksgiving to remember, and not for the reason any business owner should be proud of. The dining experience at the Green Mill on 4th, attached to the Kelly Inn in St. Cloud, MN was horrendous. An experience that all but ensures neither myself, nor anyone in our dinner party, nor any soul I can forever each, will be enjoying any experiences at this establishment in the unending future. I was here for a convention the weekend of May 20. The group of women I was with ordered three Artisan Flatbreads for the table. We had two spinach artichoke (that we added chicken) and the chicken diablo. They were both tasty. I liked the chicken diablo best, I think mostly because it had a little kick to it. The spinach artichoke was good too, and the balsamic vinegar drizzled on it gave it a nice finish. I had water only but others at the table were drinking. Our server seemed to be slow coming to the table on the return. I was late in joining our group and when she asked what I wanted it seemed to be forever for her to come back. I drank my friend's water before she came back to take an order and still hadn't remembered it. She did finally catch on and bring a pitcher of water.

The bar advertised that are open until 1230pm on a Tuesday but closed at 1130. So disappointed.

We were seated sat for over 20 minutes and never even got a drink order taken.4 other tables were seated after us and got waited on immediately. We left without ever having the waitress come to our table.Went one other time and the service was awgul then too.Done with this place

I think I can finally say after a number of chances that I'm 100% done with trying to have positive experiences at this Green Mill and won't be back again. I think the hotel is the only thing keeping them in business at this point. We stopped in at 11pm on Saturday evening after checking their website and seeing that the kitchen closes at midnight - so not out of line to go in for a quick bite. We sat in a booth in the bar, waited about 5 minutes to receive a menu and a greeting. The server did mention upon bringing the menus that all that was available were pizzas and the first page of the menu (appetizers basically). We received our drinks and were ready to order - we wanted to share the coconut chicken tenders and an order of bruschetta. Well, too bad for us because then the server awkwardly informed us that they had no tomatoes for the bruschetta and were completely out of coconut chicken tenders....she comped our soda and we left and went to Taco Bell. Womp womp. This isn't the first or second time even that we've gone here and been told they are out of menu items. I understand restaurants run out of food; but probably start with exactly what is not available before we spend time deciding. Ugh.

Honestly, the worst customer service I've ever seen. Bartender says last call at about 11:45 on a Friday night so we patiently wait for her to get around to us to take our order, about 10 min. later she comes out direction and we politely ask if we can order a drink and her response was "Nope"! We ask politely again, mind you neither of us have ordered anything at this point as we got there at around 1130. She eventually agrees to get us a drink and my friend asked for two drinks and she's said just one drink. A beer and a simple shot. The most rude bartender I've ever seen. This place use to be alright years ago, it's brutal now. Corporate should be embarrassed about the service at this location.

I had not been to this location in almost ten years because the last time I was here I had some of the worst service every, anywhere, but this time was 100% different. Our waiter and the other waiter that were working the lunch shift really worked together as a team and took care of our party very well. They truly were great. My pizza was unevenly cooked and didn't taste like the typical Green Mill pizza I look forward to having when I'm in Minnesota, but it was t bad either. I'm glad we stopped in for lunch and will probably stop back when in St. Cloud again.

I've gone here multiple times, always great and friendly service & the food is amazing

No reason to eat here. I had my suspicions, but I was on a road trip with a couple of stubborn passengers who decided for some reason that this place looked acceptable based on having absolutely no knowledge with which to make that determination, so I decided to suck it up and park. Basically like a Minnesotan T.G.I. Friday's or Chili's or Applebee's or whatever similar place with mediocre ingredients and mediocre preparation. It wasn't terrible but there's no point in eating at a place like this when you can try something that isn't a chain instead.

We had a large group that they were able to seat without a reservation and our server was great! Good beer selection and fantastic happy hour specials! Would return here for sure!

I am sorry to say I have given this place a 3chances only because I don't have no transportation and I am staying at the hotel that is connected. The service is extremely slow, the food is just OK they need more help. Trying to get a drink at the bar which is very busy during happy hour you can be waiting 20 minutes.

I really like the food at The Green Mill but on many occasions my food was not made the way I ordered it. I call in for delivery a lot and about 90% of the time my order was late, not right, or burnt. I think twice before I order there as I want to get my food in a timely manner and have it made correct. Their bar makes the best Long Island Iced Teas!!! Service is slow and they seem to forget that the more stops to the table the more the bill will be. Waited far too long for drinks. It appears the leadership staff at this location is young and unmotivated to help. When I called and complained about my order they were quick to make it right, but I would have rathered they made it right and did it right the first time. Seriously unimpressed with the saint cloud location.

We came here for Sunday Happy hour. Their Bloody Mary mix is terrible. Ask for half tomato juice. Their Guacamole was more yellow than brown. He told me there were two orders before us, and so, they were out of bruschetta. I asked if they had tomatoes and balsamic... Terrible

Food was edible but nothing special. Crowded for dinner but think that was because of the bar. It was attached to hotel so that made it easy to get to from convention. Given a choice, I'd choose another menu. Staff was very friendly but food was mediocre.

If I had to equate this restaurant to another, I'd say this was an older version of an Applebees. The crowd that this restaurant draws is typically older. The appearance and ambiance inside the restaurant give an older generation type feeling. So I was pretty hesitant to dine here. It was very typical of a family restaurant. They serve a little bit of everything here with nothing really standing out. They had told us their specialty was the pizza so we ordered a large deep dish with pepperoni, mushroom, and sausage. As an appetizer we started with the nachos. Both weren't bad, but weren't anything spectacular. The drinks were cheap though. $1 for margaritas and they weren't watered down. This was a big plus. I mean, if you have to eat "OK" level food, it's always better to do it while getting tanked. The service really lacked here. I kept making the reference that "Buddy Holly" isn't much a waiter because it seemed like we were kind of side lined. We had parties and couples served faster and tended to more than our group. Pretty disappointing. I'd come back only during happy hours.

Unhappy with the meals delivered to my team today. French Fries cold and soggy pizzas did not have sauce no condiments provided.

Not impressed. We waited quite awhile at the host stand. My husband and I both had pasta dishes and neither of us felt they were cooked very well...under cooked. The first dish my husband wanted had spring and lobster in the pasta. The server came back and told him that they were 'out of the little lobster guys'. He also had to switch his drink. The lemonade was just about water color. The server said he thought it looked different. So, it was replaced with raspberry tea. I personally didn't taste tea...just all raspberry. Ate 1/2 of our entrees and didn't bring them home. I will say, though, the margherita pizza is awesome. However, I do not live in St Cloud anymore. So I don't have the chance to get that. Also based on past experience, their Sunday brunch has really gone down hill.

Very disappointing visit to Green Mill this morning. Food and service are usually mediocre but today the service was sub par. The place wasn't busy at all. Less than 10 tables taken. Luckily we were seated quickly. Others weren't so lucky. I saw multiple groups waiting in line with either no host at the booth or with the host acting like they weren't even there. At one point, someone had to go to the bartender to ask to be seated. As for the bartender, you could tell he didn't want to be there. When one of the waitresses asked what IPAs were on tap, he named off a few but told her not to mention another because he didn't feel like changing the keg. He also snapped at another waitress later. Our waitress wasn't much better. After asking if they had anything besides breakfast at the moment she said no, but could've easily told us the whole menu was available if we waited another ten minutes. We were about to order some wings when she brought the bill, not asking if we wanted anything else or needed a to go box? Which we did. Finally there was no thank you for coming or anything that made us feel like our business was appreciated. The saving grace was another waiter who must have noticed us waiting for a while to get our bill. I believe his name was David. We are local, so we will be back, but not for breakfast.

I take back my previously 4 star review. Last time I went here for Happy Hour they charged us $6 for a small pint of leinies. Supposedly $1 off (so normally $7?!!). I mean seriously... I've drank beer at the fanciest places in town (ie: Antons, Cafe Renaissance) and they charged me LESS than that at a non-happy hour price. No way am I ever going back here. With all the great happy hours in town, I don't need to go here and get fleeced on beer. Happy Hour? Try sad hour... sad cuz my wallet is empty after all my $$ is gone for a couple small beers. So Sad cuz I always loved this place... Green Mill if you ever go back to reasonable beer prices please let me know because I would love to frequent your place of business again.

My family and I just spent the weekend at the hotel connected to the Green Mill. We ate there 3 separate times throughout the weekend, a mix of small and large groups. The people that work there are nice but the service is incredibly slow. Slow to take your order, slow to offer more beverages (not just free refills - we were ordering cocktails), and slow to bring the food. Today we were told their Asst Manager and the Manager called in sick. Friday night there were 4 employees sitting in a booth talking while 3 people were left carrying the weight for the team. Food is good once you get it, but do not go if you have a schedule or need to need somewhere afterwards.

I personally love there diablo wings and there other apps and the pizza. Great selection of beer and a great place to go get a drink and watch some sports! Bartenders were all extremely nice. The only thing what I've had go wrong there was the extremely rude waitress who apparently couldn't wait to see what we wanted to drink so got an attitude with us and said we were just gonna get waters then, as she came back with the waters she continued to argue with us and made it seem as if we were in the wrong for not saying are drink order quick enough. The manager on duty didn't want to find a solution for the problem and basically said we had to have her as a server or pretty much leave.
