The day we stopped at GMBC it was about 100 degrees - but the large outdoor seating space had misters to keep us cool while we drank their delicious beers! This place is neat - inside and outside the atmosphere is perfect for a brewery. I had the Pollenator and it is perhaps my new favorite beer! We didn’t eat, but there was a food truck and the food looked good.

Amazing beer in Lakewood. I've almost never found a brewery that could make a good seltzer and these are amazing. The Pina colada slush is perfect on a hot day. Highly recommend checking this out.

Putting these signs up is not welcoming to families. “Family friendly” lol. Good beer and food trucks though. Would recommend families go to New Terrain.

We recently hosted a baby shower at Green Mountain Beer Company, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish! From the very beginning Cassidy was incredibly helpful, so easy to work with and very responsive. On the day of the event, the service exceeded all expectations. Our waitstaff, Libby, was fantastic- so attentive, friendly, and accommodating. She worked with us seamlessly to make sure everything ran smoothly and that all of our guests felt welcome and taken care of. The atmosphere was perfect, the drinks were great and the staff truly made the celebration special. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team. It was all so easy - and that's saying a lot since I was planning this event living out of state. Thank you again to everyone at Green Mountain for making the day so memorable for us and for the future Mom and Dad!

Great open space, dog friendly, good atmosphere and different food trucks. Good beer selection on rotation and the hard slushies are delicious! Only complaint is a couple of the female staff are not very friendly to women. Super weird… staff seem almost annoyed your there, this has happened on several occasions so now we only send the males up to order if it’s the female staff at the bar - no issues with the male staff service. Smile more and be friendly it’s easy! Also find it weird that when you order slushies to go you can’t have the toppings???? Why not your paying the same? “We don’t put toppings on to go and we don’t have cup holders. “ while ordering 4 to go??? I’ve gotten it before so clearly she just didn’t want to be friendly and kind. Boo 👎 for $11 a pop put the 1/8 teaspoon of dried coconut on lol

I ended up booking the Barrel Room on a whim for my birthday party. From booking to the actual event, the staff made everything easy and stress free! The drinks here are excellent and they had plenty of non-beer options as well. If you're on the fence about booking the Barrel Room, let me be the first to tell you that you won't regret it! All of my guests were raving about what a great venue it was and how we will all be back just for drinks in the future.

By far the best Marzen in the state! Other beers are damn good as well! This is a great neighborhood place.

Had a really fun time here after a hike on a cold March day! Location is off the side of the namesake Green Mountain in Lakewood (not Boulder, where there's another Green Mtn....), and situated somewhat in a suburban area. That said there's food and things in the plaza which is nice. They have a big patio with space heaters that, actually work! Which made the cold day very enjoyable outside. Those things are awesome! Inside, the band was bringing the vibes high! I enjoyed the Anniversary Ale which was very easy to drink being nearly 9%. They had a lot of beers compared to smaller breweries which is always nice. And free coasters and stickers! Not often you see that anymore. Great beer and obviously a community favorite. With busy places, reviews can be up and down depending on experience. I enjoyed myself and can't wait to return after another hike!

Went here for friends' engagement party, so stayed mostly in the side "barrel room," which was a great space for a gathering! Server was so friendly and efficient and wonderful. Beer was delicious (tried the honey lager). I appreciated that they also have an extensive list of nonalcoholic options too. Really cool space and would totally return. They had a food truck out front and a great little outdoor patio area.

Great brewery! There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space, dog friendly! Excellent selection of drinks! We did their summer flight and was so happy with it. Modified it a little, and our server was happy to help! Love that they have service at the tables and the bar. We were able to walk in on a Friday night and get a table. They also have a food truck and different events through the week. Imperial Orange Push Pop Slushie (was not original to the flight) - 5 stars, was soo delicious and refreshing! Lemongrass blonde - great summer blonde. Wasn't sure what to expect with the lemongrass but was pleasantly surprised and would order it again! Watermelon sour - great watermelon flavor and a kick of sour. Not too sour though! About a 3 out of 5 on the sour scale. Summer Wedding Saison - excellent saison, easy drinking and great flavor.

Great place to hang out with friends! Wonderful patio and friendly employees too. I always enjoy going there.

I regret not visiting this amazing place over the years, mostly because it didn't seem very attractive from Kipling, but I now realize what a mistake that was! We biked here a couple of Sundays ago in the evening. This place is awesome!! Delicious beer, I especially loved the sour. The bartender was very nice and even replaced my husband's beer when he set it on the uneven part of the table. There was a great band playing for a bit and the ambience on the patio outside was beautiful. Would be nice if they had food but there are several options in the surrounding businesses and I see food trucks here when I drive by typically. I can't wait to visit again and hopefully bring friends next time!

Been coming here for years for trivia, random weeknights, and stops on the weekend. Always a great atmosphere inside and out. Awesome patio. Amazing beer and fun side car slushies. Great selection of food trucks and events. The service is always great too. Can't go wrong.

Great patio and very good beers! There are two patio areas. The one on the side of the building is where we sat. It has misters and heaters so perfect for what's ear season you may visit. Super dog friendly, they provide water dishes and the staff loved greeting the dogs. They even have table service on the patio. They have a variety of beers. All were delicious. It is quite far from our house but, we want to visit again to try more of the beers.

Green Mountain Beer Co. Was my wife and I best choice for a rehearsal dinner back in April 2024. We were able to use their extended room bring our own catering and purchase some of the best beer at their bar. Great service STAMPED GREENBAY PACKERS AFFILIATION. They have a few pinball machines as well. Highly recommend for any type of gathering event. Overall great atmosphere my wife and I continue to come pay our visit here from time to time since 2019

Honestly impressed by the space and shocked that I've never been here before. Excellent atmosphere, tons of outdoor seating for beautiful days and dog friendly patio. Good rotation of food trucks outside, it seems, or bring in your own food. Service is great, it's not super loud in there so you can actually have a conversation, and so far the beers are solid. Beer reviews: Kama Citra IPA: 5/5, great Citra hop IPA without being overly intense with that weird mouthfeel when an IPA is over-hopped Non-beer reviews: Strawberry Margarita slushie: quite strong, quite delicious, great on a hot summer day

Great brewery conveniently inside of a plaza with plenty of parking. There's indoor seating and two patios (Front and side) to choose from as well. Dog friendly! I sat at the bar and tried the lemonade lychee seltzer - great flavors together. A little sweet and didn't have that strong alcohol + fake flavor kind of taste. Good on a warm day for sure. The bartender told me putting a little of the strawberry margarita slushie on top of the seltzer was good and then about 10 minutes later she gave me a little sample of one - she was right! Delicious mix. I ended up ordering another small one of those. Got hungry and ventured to the food truck outside which served a mix of some American and Asian dishes - I went with the haute cuisine choice of chicken tenders and tots, both of which were good. Staff was friendly here and the tunes were good (as a 90s rock fan, I suppose!)

GMBC is one of my go-to breweries for a few reasons. First, it is close and easy to get to, but mostly, it is for the good, quality brews and great customer service. There is ample room inside with tables and bar seating as well as some high top ledges set up on the wall. Seating is comfortable and it is never too loud. Outside seating is also ample and has been expanded over time which is clearly a sign of the popularity and very much welcomed with the misters and heaters to help keep you comfortable no matter what time of year. I personally love sitting in the Adirondack chairs! Service has always been top notch - fast and friendly- in the years I have been visiting which has been nearly since the beginning. The selection of in-house European and American style brews with standards that you just can't go wrong with are what keep me coming back but, also, the seasonal and limited brews where I always find something delicious and amazing. Also, there is a great selection of hard seltzer flavors and the option for slushies just can't be beat - I generally take advantage of these on the hot summer days here and have not found one I did not love. And, of course, there are a couple of gluten free options as well as N/A beers and kombucha on tap as well as sodas and even cappuccino or a cold brew. And don't pass up a bag of Denver chips available here for the perfect addition to your pour - but there are additional snacks as well. The food truck rotation offers a great variety and there is one every night. The only struggle I ever have is in finding parking given the location and limited space with other businesses but, I work around that and try to plan my visits during times that are less likely to be super busy. Really great place for families and friends to gather - super family and dog friendly on the patio and lots of activities with open mic, trivia and some pinball games for fun. Highly recommend a visit!!

We love coming here! Great beer and other drinks selection, food trucks that visit are always tasty. There is plenty of indoor / outdoor seating, kid and dog friendly & great evening events for those that dig games! Everyone that works there is super friendly, patient and helpful! And, we love the inside decor - it's awesome and don't forget to check out their merchandise :)

This is a great brewery with plenty of outdoor / indoor seating, tons of beer selection, and a food truck for some grub! The parking lot has plenty of spots, and I enjoyed my Marzen on a recent visit. Super cute spot if you're in Lakewood!

Just hosted our baby shower in the Barrel Room here and had an amazing experience! We had about 30 guests total and the space was perfect, with room for a few more comfortably. Reservations were easy and the management was friendly and easy work with. They had a great food truck there, but we catered our own food to accommodate a big group at once. We had a dedicated server who was very attentive and made sure everyone had what they needed. Super cool place that we will definitely reserve again to host future events! Saving the best for last, the beer is outstanding! Something on the menu for all of our guests.

Rarely am I all in on a brewery review after my first visit, but damn if Green Mountain Beer Company didn't earn it! Seeking a place to grab a bite and brew after hiking in the James Peak Wilderness before I made my way home, Green Mountain Beer Company popped up, and I was right on my way. SPACE/ATMOSPHERE: Love it! Outside, they have a great little patio space featuring misters for those hot Colorado summer days. Moving inside, the space is quite large, with a ton of seating for every size and type of group. They are dog friendly, so feel free to bring your furry friend with you. There's a refrigerator of to-go beer inside near the patio entrance and merch near the door and displayed above the bar. They also go growler fills and crowlers if nothing in the grab and go fridge catches your eye. SIPS: Just wow! First, I chose to sip on the Rosy Dawn Peach Sour. This brew was bursting with flavor. For my second brew, I just had to try the Prickly Pear Margarita Hard Seltzer. I have found that most seltzers tend to disappoint me. Not this one - it was amazing! The flavor was fantastic and the color was so vibrant! Def the new standard I have for craft seltzers. SUSTENANCE: While they carry a few snacks from Denver Chip Company, but the food truck line-up is where they shine. During my visit, Cilantro & Perejil was slinging their drool-worthy goods out front, and I def noshed on some of it. You can get the full food truck line up on their website. SERVICE: The beertenders here were so incredibly friendly. Throughout my visit, they checked on my to see if there was anything I needed and made great conversation. They were also super prompt at bussing away empties and grabbing the next round. Love it! SWAG: Stickers, sweaters, shirts, beanies - oh my! Like most breweries, they def have a selection of swag available to show your Green Mountain Beer Company love. While I don't find myself in Lakewood frequently, I can def say that Green Mountain Beer Company is worthy of a special visit. So next time I can, I'll def be making my way back! The view is THE reason to come here. The beer is solid, the staff is attentive, and you can order online via the QR code. But The best part of this brewery is that it is right up against the foothills. You will definitely enjoy coming here for a sunset happy hour

Good beer selection, staff is very friendly and knows their beers, great music too! Great food options nearby as well! This is a great spot to frequent!! Excellent for bringing kids too--they have a separate space/room in the back for events.

Loved coming here as a road trip stop. They only sell beee but they do have a food truck that sells really good food. Stop by and check it out. They have an amazing selection of beer

We decided to come here after lunch and it's a very nice atmosphere. They are COVID prepared with social distancing and masks. I ordered the blueberry hard seltzer and it tastes like fresh blueberries and it was a nice ending to a delightful afternoon I am redoing my review because our greeter has a horrible attitude and forgot waters and he was upset so brought us warm water no ice

Fun place. They had hard seltzer slushies. They staff was super. We had a great time! They don't have food but do food trucks and you can bring in your own (there are several places right in the shopping center).

Lots to love. Beyond good beer and friendly staff, I enjoy the fact that they will come to your table and order fresh drinks without having to get up and stand in line... brilliant. Seems obvious but I can't think of another brewery that does that. LFG. And, the music was

After a day of exploring in Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak, we wanted to find a brewery not too far from our hotel to relax for a bit. The weather was perfect, probably upper 70's (Middle of June) so we opted for seats outside. Our water grabbed us some waters and gave us a minute to look over the drink menus. He also let us know he'd come back to get our orders, but we could also come inside to place an order if we wanted ... I guess his way of saying they were short handed. My wife had the watermelon sour and I had the stout. We were both really pleased with our selection. I'd add that the one she had (sour) wasn't overly bitter which makes me steer clear from most sours - it had a nice refreshing taste. I was really happy with the stout I had as well, it was a whiskey barrel aged, and in my opinion, those tend to be some of my favorite beer types (barrel aged). Here is a break down of each of the drinks we had: Watermelon Sour Sour - Fruited 5% ABV 8 IBU Green Mountain Beer Company Lakewood, CO Seasonal sour beer made with natural watermelon puree. Brewed exclusively for summertime! Whiskey Barrel Aged Ryefecta Imperial Stout Stout - Imperial / Double 12.5% ABV 46 IBU Green Mountain Beer Company Lakewood, CO Two varietals of rye blend together to contribute a dry spiciness to this high alcohol, highly hopped ale. Barrel aging in rye whiskey barrels provide complexity, hints of coconut and warm peppery notes of rye whiskey. Note, they don't actually have food (well bagged snacks is it), but they do have a food truck schedule or you can grab food at one of the local restaurants and bring it by while you have a brew. Highly recommend!

Be careful of the mixed drinks they have on tap, they're pretty strong! Large venue, no food but can bring it in, easy parking and no liquor. Enjoy!

Hiding gem in Lakewood. Better then most breweries in Denver, without the Denver crowds. Amazing facility, plenty of space indoors and outdoors. A great selection and variety of beer. If you're around in the fall and lucky, their Marzen won't be sold out. Also a great variety of barrel aged choices. Perfect for family outings and beer enthusiasts.

This place is all about the beer. We had the Rum Barrel Quad Draft and it was AMAZING!!!! One of the best beers I've ever had in my life, and I've lived in Germany and Belgium, so I've had some pretty good beer. The place is a little bit loud. Glad they have a back room. And having a food truck outside works OK. But I hate standing out there in the cold waiting for my food to be ready. But did I mention the beer?

Beer was great. Stood in line at counter, waitress told everyone they could pick a table and order from there....many groups sat down and watched everyone else get served beers ahead of us....again good beer bad service when we were there.

Showed up at 913pm. Place closes at 10pm. We order a couple beers. Before we even take a sip of the beer, the beertender is asking us if we think there's anything else we want because last call is at 930. Told her: we'll let you know.. How am I gonna make that decision when I haven't even f*cking sipped my first beer? She immediately gets saucy and says: I'm walking out of here at 10pm no later. Cool, well you just made my decision easy then. I don't want anything from this place. Let's recap: it's 913pm you close at 10pm and you're trying to push last call on me 37 mins before you close AND before I even took a sip of my beer. HMMM... Note to owner, check your staff. Being drunk AND pushy isn't really profitable. Definitely lost money from me.

We have been coming to GMBC ever since they have been open - so the past 3 years! Their Kama Citra is a favorite as well as their Brown. Really we like their selection of beers on tap, all the time! There is something for everyone. Food trucks are on rotation and are on a schedule which is on their website. Events are also frequent, like open mic night. It's in a good location and is spacious.

Last fall we came to green mountain brewing every weekend to watch the packer game as they are a "packer bar" . We arrived last Sunday only to be abruptly told "oh Sunday is open Mic night--that trumps the game every time" we were relegated to the back room. Though the screen in the back is better the view is obstructed bc the forklifts and barrels are in The way. We didn't get to see most of the first quarter bc they couldn't get logged in to project the game. The beer is descent but not worth driving across town for. We come for the packers last year every weekend and. Bought 3 hours a beer but apparently not a priority for this packer bar this year.

The place is really really nice..the drinks are super tasty and the service is great..one of the ladies remembered us from our first visit and that made us feel welcome because we were the only blacks in the bar LMAO ..otherwise drinks are very tasty

Stopped into Green Mountain brewing yesterday afternoon for the first time. Really impressed, great addition to the Lakewood area for sure. The brewery is hidden from the road, kinda tucked away in a brand new strip mall. The brewery itself is modern and inviting. Indoor and outdoor seating available, open and cool atmosphere. Cool and friendly staff. We went w a flight to try everything of course. The Hef, citrus IPA, and Foster child were amongst my top favorites. The hef and foster have banana in them which is so unique and flavorful. The foster child tastes just like the banana fosters dessert, really awesome and interesting beer. Lots of nearby food options if you wanna bring in food to eat while you are there. They also had an Asian fusion food truck out back.

Why don't I venture close to home? I've asked myself that question every time. First time here. We tried a couple of their offerings. The Dubbel Date, Doppelbock and the Kama Citra IPA. A food truck is parked here five days a week? Check out their schedule on the board behind the bar. This night it was Pavys Truck. Sandwiches. That's what they bring to the table. Big, wide open space and friendly bartenders. Awesome beer. Why not? We will be back!

You've got 8 brews to chose from as of 1.8.17: ** Bear Creek Brown Ale at 42 IBUs and 5.5% ** Karma Citra IPA at 65 IBUs and 6.5% ** Red Rock Dopplebock at 26 IBUs and 7% ** Dunklen Helm Schwartzbier at 25 IBUs and 5.5% ** Bruxelles Black at 27 IBUs and 6.2% ** Sinister Saison at 30 IBUs and 6.66% (get it?!) ** Dubbel Date at 22 IBUs and 8.5% ** Spicy Euro at 27 IBUs and 6.2% And you've got great staff to also chose from, too. Everyone is really mellow, happy you're there and interested in what's happening in your world. Did I mention live music on most weekends and food trucks every time we've visited? They have a decent rotation. We have yet to be disappointed. They're new... they're local.... support the locals!

Recently moved to the Lakewood area and have tried a few places out. This is by far my favorite! Considerate staff, great beer, with a good atmosphere. The best part? They are actively following cleaning, distancing, and mask guidelines. Thank you guys, you are appreciated!

OK. I'm a total beer geek. This place was amazing with fantastic beers. I'm a rough rater. I've been told my ratings are harsh! I love beer. I travel for beer. I've been to 475 breweries and drank over 8,000 different beers! I was blown away! Kama Citra, polterweist (?), etc were rated high! I don't think I had but one beer under 3.5! That's not easy with me!

Friendly staff and good beer. Nice large patio with a view! They usually have a good food truck and have allowed outside food from nearby restaurants.

We reserved the tasting room for a rehearsal luncheon. I was concerned it would seem sub par. it couldn't have been any better! Our servers were helpful, there whenever we needed something, left us to enjoy our time when we didn't. All our guests enjoyed the beer, hard seltzers and sodas. Cassidy helped set up a buffet table for catered food. (Moe's BBQ, also great) Honestly, this was a 10/10 experience. I highly recommend the atmosphere, service and drinks!

this brewery is doing it right during the summer of Covid. great outdoor tables. can order via your phone without a menu with a qr scan right at your table. tasty mongolian food truck there today. sunshine and a flight- no complaints here.

Love the beer and would give it a higher rating however the low rating is for the poor staff. Had my second poor experience with the staff there and as much as I want to go back for the beer we will get cans to go going forward so we don't have to deal with poor attitudes.
