This place was an instant classic. Service was amazing. Came in with my son and Sonny (who is in charge and one of the nicest guys around) took care of us, made my son something off of the menu he wanted, suggested some fantastic things on the menu and everything was top notch. The fat person inside of me has thought about going back every night this week. Unbelievable spot and already my favorite place in highland park. Could not recommend it enough.

I try to give restaurants a break cause they may have an off day or night. But... this was my 2nd time at Green Panda and while the service is friendly and attentive, the quality of the food is only "OK". We had the pork and veggie spring rolls, which actually both tasted the same as one another. Both were very dry and the outside of the roll could've had more of a crunch. For the entree, we split the Thai Veggie Noodles and Sweet and Sour Pork. The Pork was "OK' but, it tasted very similar to what I purchase in the frozen section at Trader Joe's. The veggie noodles were coated not so much in the sauce but, rather oil. We really wanted to like it, but after 2 dining attempts, the results are the same, disappointing. Just a head's up: the mustard sauce is EXCEPTIONALLY hot!!! Just a small dab and your sinuses will be breathing fire.

Unfortunately 3 Star Lung Wah closed it's doors for good. Even more unfortunate is that Green Panda bought the old 3 Star Lung Wah phone number (shady). Food at Green Panda is mediocre. BBQ pork looked like it as sliced by a child with large chunks of gristle. The fried shrimp appetizer I ordered (Golden Ring) was a soggy oily mess. I thought the two pieces I managed to choke down were fried with the tail on but it was just the batter fried to a hard inedible ugg. I should have gone somewhere else when I saw the sign on the door advertising NEW lower dinner prices. They used to charge more for this!?!?!!! The thick rice noodles I ordered were just a big clump of flavorless mess. No veggies either after I specifically asked for them. No fortune cookies to save the meal either. 3 Star Lung Wah was quality food that the cooks took pride in preparing, I will miss them. Green Panda is not good and I encourage you to look elsewhere.

Great bar inside and great food to boot. We try to make it a point to come here or at the very least order from here once every couple weeks.

Great food; decent service. Could be a little more attentive, but nice, quiet place and again, great food!

Good quality food but simply too pricey to strongly recommend.
