Green Pot Deli

I cannot sing enough praises about Green Pot Deli. Everything I have tried has been amazing (Chicken wings, dumplings, grilled pork plate, tofu salad). But the chicken pho hits every time. I never feel the need to add hoisin or sriracha like I do with other pho. The added fresh broccoli is such a nice touch. In my opinion, best pho on the island.

I was looking for a less touristy place to eat and found Green Pot Deli. I tried fried tofu and curry soup… both menus were delicious. The fried tofu were light & crispy on the outside and soft & juicy on the inside.. loved it. I only wish I had more room in my tummy to try more of the food offered here. There’s also a great seating place outside to enjoy a beautiful day.

Great spot for a quick bite with lots of classic options for folks of all preferences. Grilled pork was standout—sweet, salty, smoky and tender. Greens and pickled veggies were fresh and crisp. Egg rolls were flaky and stuffed with a savory ground pork filling. I’d recommend this spot!

New Vietnamese spot tucked inside the island’s movie theater lobby, so keep an eye out as you walk in. Cuong—the owner—couldn’t be more welcoming and suggested the Com Tam Dac Biet. The dish was fine but not a stand-out compared with other Vietnamese options nearby. I did hear glowing praise for the tofu soup, so that’s on my list for next time. Stop by if you’re catching a film or looking for a friendly spot to try something different; the menu feels like it’s still finding its groove, but the warm service makes it worth a visit.

The food was good, there was more meat than I imagined. But I advise you to read the menu carefully before ordering.

My first time at Green Pot; friendly owner, outstanding service, tasty dishes. We had the Special Pho (beef, brisket, beef balls) and Brisket Pho with a side of Butter Garlic Wings. Absolutely delicious, especially the Butter Wings, which could be a meal in itself. Rich, light, moist and crunchy--a must have for every meal there, accompanied by delicious iced Vietnamese coffee. Some seating inside but tables and chairs available in the mall space just outside the restaurant.

Amazing food and such a nice lovely man! He and his wife own this restaurant. He hustled to get everyone in my family, 13 of us, our food hot and warm. The bahn mi was one of the best I’ve had - and I’ve been to Vietnam before. The bun is soft and crispy, and so flavorful. Their bun noodle salad was also wonderful. The vermicelli still has structure and not soggy, sauce is fresh and light. Their eggplant tofu stir fry rice is also light and not overly greasy. We sat on the patio outside and it was lovely.

Food was 9/10, service was 10/10 and the Ambiance is what you make of it. This is now my new go to on the island.

Sweet family run business. I always go back and forth between the Pork rice plate or the Bun Salad noodle bowl. Consistent, flavorful, homemade appeal. I appreciate the option for a Kid's Pho so I don't always have to explain removing all the veggies. Pho broth is pretty tasty. Parking: Private lot of medium size, but can get busy/crowded as it shares with the movie theater and a handful of other restaurants.

We saw Pia the Peacekeeper #122. Then we went to grab a bite to eat less than 10 mins away at Green Pot Deli, a Vietnamese restaurant. What a hidden gem here in Bainbridge Island!!! Coung, the owner said the curry reminded him of his childhood and his mom's cooking, I said, "Hell yea, I'll take one!" Especially when I saw his mom cooking in the kitchen! I love this mom n pop spot. We ordered their fried tofu (best I've had in a long time!! Super "meaty" firm tofu), garlic butter wings (yooooo!!! Them wings were meaty with the perfectly crispy outside and super juicy inside. The added garlic/green onion crispys....I could buy a jar of it!!), spring rolls (the sauce was the perfect cherry on top!), beef pho (perfect for this chilly rainy day!), and of course...2 orders of Coung's mom's curry soup with chicken and a side of brown rice. I wanted to literally give his mom a hug it was so good. I felt like she was hugging me from far away. :) This was straight fire! I was in #foodieheaven #nomnomnom. I can't wait to come back! We ordered and liked: the chicken Banh Mi, especially liked the mushrooms, and the great sauce, and the beef bun, plentiful, fresh veggies, 2 chopped up eggrolls. Yum! I didn't get the Vietnamese Iced Coffee this time due to affordability and seem to recall it as too sweet. The owners are nice. When its warm or warmish there's a wonderful outdoor patio. In winter, you can take-out or sit at tucked-away tables in the atrium of the mall. When we were there were mall maintenance people clunking around which I thought insensitive and unsupportive of Green Pot's dining area at lunchtime, but it wasn't a real bother. Just saying. This is an island amenity deserving of support!

The butter garlic chicken wings are the best I have ever had. They are perfectly crispy and the flavor is outstanding. We have order them at least 10 times and have never been disappointed. If course the Pho is also quite good.

Great food, perfect for combatting cool weather on the island. Family run with adorable servers and assistants at the ready to make sure you dining experience is a good one. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back.

This hidden gem does really good Banh Mi. I had the tofu Banh Mi and my wife had the chicken Banh Mi. Both excellent. Fresh ingredients and very tasty!

The food was good. The pho needed some bean sprouts and more brisket. The soup was good. The grill chicken salad, pork plate, egg rolls and shrimp spring rolls were tasty as well. Would recommend.

This cute mom and pops establishment hits the spot. Want a deep rich pho broth, order the brisket pho. Space is small but outdoor seating is perfect for any gathering. This is a family fare where all members help with the service. It's amazingly good. Support local!

The food was 100% Inedible. We ordered four different items and none of us could eat our food. I'm extremely disappointed. I'm also wondering how it could possibly have such high rating. The Pho broth was clear with a tint of to it and had absolutely no flavour. I thought I would at least be able to eat the broccoli but I couldn't. We ordered it from the ferry and picked it up. Had we eaten that in the restaurant? The story would've been different. Unfortunately, we had to throw it away. if it had been an option, I would've given it zero . the three restaurants that serve Vietnamese food that we looked at on yelp this had the highest rating. Shocking!

Delicious pho broth! And I really liked the family owners. An easy place to stop in and get a meal.

I read a review about the wings and the beef pot stickers. I had the sweet honey wings and beef pot sticker ans a small white rice. Everything was So very delicious. I have also had one of there sandwiches and that was delicious too.

Butter Garlic Chicken wings were amazing!! Crunchy, moist and savory served hot and fresh with a wonderful smile!!! Bahn Mi Beef Sandwich was as authentic as u can get. Crisp, freshly cut vegetables with a burst of cillantro in a warm baguette. Very balanced sandwich. We love this place!!! Nice hidden gem. We will back!!

Great Pho! Fast friendly service, and easy for a quick bite before a movie. Looked like they do a lot of carry out business as well.

I can't believe I live here and am just now discovering this cute little cafe tucked away in the Pavilion. I brought some visitors from out of town and came back twice within the week. So far, I've tried the Curried Noodles, the Bun Noodle Salad Bowl with chicken, the Special Pho, and the Avocado Smoothie -- all of them were very tasty! The young owner, Cuong, and his mother cook all the food. Cuong's super personable and provides excellent customer service. They've been open just a year and he has plans for expanding and rotating the menu -- stop by and check them out!

We were on our way to another place for lunch and we saw a sign on a street corner promoting Green Pot, so we thought we would try it. It is located in a small mall with a movie theater and other restaurants. It is mainly take out, but they do have a few tables in the mall. We were immediately greeted with a warm welcome by Cuong. We started with shrimp spring rolls. The spring rolls had large fresh shrimp in the rolls. The rice wrapper was thin and not very chewy. They were delicious. My daughter had the salad bowl. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, the noodles and vegetables were also fresh and it was surrounded crispy rolls. My husband tried the steak pho. The portion was large and the steak was tender. I had the stir fried noodles with chicken. It was very good. This was by far some of the best food we have had, very reasonably priced and the owner was very nice. I wish them the best and highly recommend.

Nice new(ish) spot for takeout on the island. Didn't love their pho, but their other options - noodle bowls and particularly banh mis, are pretty solid. I've noticed the toppings can be a little inconsistent, so sometimes it can come pretty well balanced and other times pretty heavy on pickled veggies and jalapeno, which can throw it off a lot for me. There's a lot of little details like that which could be improved on (imo) but the owners seem very sweet and the way they season their proteins, especially their chicken, actually pretty delicious. Haven't been getting as much take-out recently, but this is pretty much my go-to spot nowadays. Hope to see them stick around.

This little cafe has surprisingly delightful food, quick service, and reasonable prices. Their chicken wings are fantastic and - warning Really hold the heat! (Physical heat, not spicy heat).

They've done it again!! Today this mighty little restaurant catered lunch for the BIWC w 50 fabulous salads to go. Everyone was impressed with quality, quantity & presentation! Thank you for going way beyond All expectations!!

Amazing and authentic Vietnamese foods. They are family business, I hired them to provide foods for 50 people and they came through with delicious spring rolls, tảrõ egg rolls, tamarind prawns, stir fried noodles with veggies and tofu, and fried rice and bobas. They were all excellent and at a decent price. Their banh mi were the best I had and we came from San Jose California. This is gem and I hope BI support.

very fresh, very authentic! I go here at least once a week! my boss is from Vietnam, and she told me about this place! Everything is so delicious.

My daughter and I stopped by for lunch yesterday. We ordered the fresh spring rolls, a chicken Bahn mi sandwich and a chicken vermicelli noodle bowl. Everything was very good! The bahn mi's baguette was the perfect crustiness with excellently flavored chicken and veggies inside. The noodle bowl was also delicious with delicate dressing. The owner was very helpful in making our selections, as it was our first time in. I would definitely recommend their food to anyone who's looking for delicious Thai food. Only slight negative is the location is bit off the beaten path, tucked away near the movie theater in the Pavilion. Great for takeout, and maybe with weather warming sitting out in tables outside pavilion.

Came in on a rainy friday afternoon and the hot pho was just what the sole needed! The broth was packed with flavor and they definitely did not slack on the portions. Not to mention, the service was absolutely wonderful. The workers were so so nice and made sure we had everything we needed and more. The best pho on Bainbridge 100%!!!

We were craving Vietnamese food and found this restaurant highly rated in Google so we thought we'd try it out. Green Pot Deli did not disappoint. When we walked in, we were warmly greeted with a smile from the owner. We ordered Butter Garlic Chicken Wings, Special Pho and the Bun - Noodles Salad Bowl with Pork. Good portions and delicious you won't regret eating here because not only do they have amazing food but the customer service was top notch. They you feel at home. Oh, and their Mango Boba was also delicious

Delicious authentic Vietnamese food. We had the beef and chicken banh mi. The sandwich was warm and the bread was soft. Would recommend!

Hidden gem on Bainbridge Island. The owner is so friendly and enthusiastic about the food he is serving, and he has every right to be. Everything I have have tried has been fresh and delicious. Chicken and pork bahn mi sandwiches are both so flavorful, filled with yummy vegetables, on a large airy roll with crispy crust. The steak pho is a generous portion with a deep savory broth. Spicy beef dumplings are popular for good reason, and the butter garlic wings are a flavor explosion, with a perfectly-fried crust and super juicy chicken. Cuong (the owner) and the lady in the kitchen (his mom, I think) do such a great job. They deserve to be recognized, but I'm a little afraid that when the word gets out, this small restaurant might become too busy!

Just tried this place tonight. We got steak pho and chicken curry. Easily some of the best I've ever eaten. A total mom and pop place, they really put out some incredible food. I can't wait to go back and try other dishes. Bainbridge is lucky to have an amazing place like this!

We loved this spot! My husband and I had been meaning to try it for awhile and are very glad we finally did last week. needed a quick lunch and ordered the egg rolls, fresh rolls and the beef bahn mi. The egg rolls and the bahn mi were so good that we had them for lunch again a week later. The fresh rolls were fine but the menu looks so good we are going to keep working our way through other items.

Seriously tasty banh mi here (I got the one with a sunny side egg). Lots of vegan/vegetarian options and the owner is super friendly and helpful in explaining the menu and offering changes for dietary restrictions.

Solid new addition to take out options on BI. Vermicelli bowls were standard but totally tasty. The garlic butter chicken wings were fantastic. Nice and crispy with a ton of flavor.
