"With $4 tacos ($4.50 for tacos stuffed with shrimp or Mahi Mahi) and bowls for $8, this affordable spot in Lake Highlands serves up some of the best gas station tacos in the city. And the restaurant is thoughtful — All of the meats are all locally sourced, and the eggs are cage-free. Don’t be surprised if you spot a celebrity or two. Singer Erykah Badu is known to come in for a vegetarian taco occasionally." - Courtney E. Smith

Green Spot is a gas station, yes, but inside is a hidden gem. The Taqueria makes the best tacos in Dallas! I have tried all the tacos and they are all great. My favorite is the Veggie taco (see photo). It is so flavorful and hearty trust me, you wont miss the meat (see ingredientson photo). (A little known fact it's a bit faster since there's no meat to cook.) The staff is nice and friendly. There is an important note here, that is you order and take your yellow copy to the gas station side, grab a drink and whatever else you might need and pay, then bring your yellow slip back after it's stamped and when your food is ready, place the yellow slip in the basket along with your tip. Don't forget to tip these folks work hard! :) Enjoy your lunch (or breakfast).

I love this place. I work from home nearby and like stopping by to grab a healthy snack from the store or some great home made Mexican Food. Their kitchen is open too, which creates a great atmosphere, and allows everyone to experience their cooking in action. Fun local vibe of East Dallas.

Google
I eat at the Green Spot four or five times a week. I've not found a better burger and fries anywhere. The taco selections (which include shrimp and mahi mahi) come with individualized homemade sauces and savory relishes that you'd pay far more for elsewhere. My favorites are the pork and mole chicken. My only complaint is that they close the kitchen at 2:45pm. You best be hungry before then.

Have driven by this place for years finally decided to stop by this morning and I’ve been missing out. Chick-fil-A has nothing on the breakfast tacos here. Chris, I believe the owner was super friendly and welcoming. The breakfast tacos are really hearty and taste so good. The on tap kombucha (pomegranate) is delicious. I’ll have to try the rest of the menu. I’ll be back for sure

Google
Staff is super friendly. You can tell the kitchens food is made with lots of love. It is so delicious 😮‍💨 the quality of products is amazing all throughout the store. And my favorite part is the coffee! This place has become part of my routine and is definitely a must try if in the neighborhood.

Google
The best secret hidden tacos!!! I’ve been coming for years now! Hidden inside the Green Spot convince store is one of the BEST places in Dallas to get tacos. I have tried every taco here and wow every single one is absolutely delicious. I drive 20min to get these tacos, it’s a craving you can’t get any where else. Their lunch is great too! Be warned you can’t have just one and you’ll be coming back!

Google
I had the veggie tacos this morning from the little stand inside on the right. They are FRIGGIN DELICIOUS! I honestly believe these are the best veggie tacos I have ever had. The salsa is delicious too. I will definitely be back. I was impressed with all the different sparkling waters they had available. I bought the strawberry ginger. I hope it's as good as it sounds! =)

Google
Neighborhood staple with a GREAT Cafe, many self-serve options including vegan frozen yogurt and a varied and unique selection of wines and beers with snacks and a few household and auto essentials. A small and caring staff completes the package.

Yelp
Started working their early this year in March. It's very chill and laid back for the most part, which is what I loved the most about this job, on the other hand it could very difficult working there sometimes. There's no proper communication whatsoever, you've got a store manager(Adam velte) who hates being asked or reached out to for whatever reason, literally 1 time the front door lock failed and he was upset about having to come out since he was busy watching a movie. You also gotta an owner who goes by the name sue, who is really hard to get a hold of. There could be conflict or any type of issue in the store and neither Adam or sue would to answer the call or even reply back by text. As I stated before sometimes it could be a little hard working there, and that's because of the kitchen staff hostility, and no matter how much you address you complaints to management, they keep talking about how they've been working here for so long and so it's really hard to make them change there attitude. No matter how nice you're to them and how much you try to make things work, you always got Pedro Sr, and Martina shouting and screaming either at me or the customers. Last time I complained, was the time I tried to make things work out with the kitchen. I'll never forget how Pedro sr said that he spoke with the owner and told him that she would fire and literally just as he stated is what exactly happened. Even after I called the owner the same day and try to address my concerns, she didn't do anything at all, instead she made the store manager call to let me know that I'm fired. I have never received any corrective actions at all whatsoever. The fact that I tried calling the owner and she never answered me or replied back through text. I would not recommend this place to anyone not even to my worst enemy. I'm very sure that they will try there best to cover what happened and make me look as the bad guy. it's okay I have also never had any customers complaints and been always friendly with them. On the other hand, the kitchen staff which a lot of the everyday customers know how rude they can be sometimes. And yes there's still rats in the store, they had to start leaving the grill hood running even after the kitchen is shut down to prevent rats from walking inside the kitchen Moe

Yelp
Dirty tables and my veg burger was burned blacked , and it is not served with a whole wheat or handmade bun as listed.

Missy S.

Yelp
Popped in to check out what all the rave was about . The taco was okay, we'll stuffed with a slight kick. The tortilla was will charred with a great texture. The spot seems to be a neighborhood staple, with a bunch of healthy snacks options. The staff is friendly. Order your tacos at the back counter at which point you receive a yellow slip to take to the front counter for payment. A single taco is about $4.25.

Yelp
Had some fantastic pork tacos and veggie tacos! I loved the vegan yogurt they have. Never expected to see kombucha on tap or frozen yogurt at a gas station so this was a pleasant place to find! The employees were very kind in helping me get directions and giving recommendations. If you're stopping by Dallas, you should stop by here if you need gas.

Tyler B.

Yelp
This place is awesome. My wife and I came here for the first time last weekend and we were blown away by how kind every staff member was and how delicious the breakfast was! The market is nice with plenty of options for all types of restricted diets. Truly refreshing. There is an older Mexican couple who runs the restaurant (for a long time as I understand it) and they make some phenomenal food! We're from San Diego and our Mexican food standards are quite high....this place completely blew our expectations out of the water. We will be back and this will become a standard for us. It's also VERY reasonably priced. I've paid more than double for breakfast recently and it didn't hold a candle to this place. If you're in the area, it's worth your time and money!

Shauna H.

Yelp
I was there to help a couple that ran out of gas...Dave was a true gentleman and helped me so I would not smell like gasoline. Thank you for the customer service, Dave.

Andrew A.

Yelp
Had the pleasure of eating here today. Amazing food quality and customer service. Owners focus on high quality ingredients without sacrificing the taste. 10/10 would recommend some tacos while you put some gas.

bruce w.

Yelp
Horrible, spalled, messy, cold way overpriced $3.50 tacos. See attached photo. Never again.

Kristen B.

Yelp
These tacos are amazing!!!! Some of the best mole I've bet had. Incredible pastries and organic product. If you love tacos... EAT HERE!!!

Lily N.

Yelp
this was my first time here, so i don't know if it's the norm, but i was very disappointed. i only went in for a bottle of wine and some gas. all i received on coming in was a sideways stare from the person working, and when i was checking out i asked "do you do cash back?". the only words the person working said to me the entire time i was in there was "no." then they immediately turned around and walked out the door before i even finished the transaction. i'll try again, hopefully it was just an off night. but dang, this just isn't the person you should leave your business in the care of.

Yelp
Green Spot, hits the spot... all day, every day. Each time I've eaten at Green Spot, it's been a hit and I've yet to experience a miss. As a vegan in a 'meat-happy' city, it's been challenging to find a place that serves up tasty food that meets my dietary restrictions on a budget but Green Spot has consistently surpassed all my expectations on this. I've visited 3 or 4 times now and can confidently say that the search for a staple spot that serves up yummy, casual vegan food is over! I've tried their veggie taco (minus the cheese), their dairy free soft-serve ice cream, and brought my non-vegan friends here to try their meat tacos as well and have only gotten positive feedback. Plus, they have tons of snacks, friendly staff, and a cozy area for indoor seating! PLEASE, don't let the fact that this market also doubles as a fuel station fool you... try the tacos, and then decide for yourself. I cannot sing this place's praises enough; and would recommend it to *anyone* especially for their juicy, flavorful, decent sized, well spiced, and affordable tacos!

Rachel S.

Yelp
A cute little spot for both gas and specialty food items. The inside was smaller than expected, and their selection of products (protein bars, chips, health goods, beverages) were similar to those found in Sprouts but just significantly smaller. There was also a small counter to order lunch items such as tacos. I ended up getting myself soft-serve frozen yogurt (at 52 cents an oz); they had 3 vegan flavors at the time--vanilla, chocolate, and green apple. Super delicious!

Johnny N M.

Yelp
The food is very good. Unfortunately the lady in the back is not very friendly. Bern here twice. Dosen't communicate well. Arrived 3 minutes before 9 wouldn't even bother to look at me to take my order. Finally was able to order. Again food was good. But will stick to the tacos in the front.

Hubert D.

Yelp
I used to go here a lot when Good 2 Go Taco was there many many years ago, but then they moved out and the replacement taco place was bad so I stopped going. I decided to stop by today because my friend was raving how good they were and she was right! I got the pork and the mole tacos. Man, the tacos were flavorful and tasty. I feel like I was missing out. It's hard to justify paying $4-5 for gourmet tacos at Torchy's sometimes so this really hits the spot.

Wayne H.

Yelp
It's a convenient location and the only gas station in a reasonable distance. They also offer charging for EVs. I've had the food, but it's been a while, so I will not comment. But the low review is for their gas pumps. Slow and a $150 pre-authorization.

Deanna P.

Yelp
Once again, Martina delivers magic from the kitchen. Today I tried something new with the BLT, added guacamole and mayo and my husband got her always on point breakfast bowl. If you have not had breakfast from her please wake up tomorrow and go. Home cooked food that absolutely checks all boxes.

I Was Here L.

Yelp
These are the best tacos I have had in Dallas! The people who make them are super friendly. I asked which taco is their favorite and they said they are all delicious. I was skeptical at first, but after eating I now understand. I'm not even a big fan of flour tortillas (I always choose corn), but the tortilla did not take away from the wonderful flavors. The green salsa is spicy- just how I like it. Place your order, pay for your order at the front, and go back with your paid ticket to receive your food

Alexis B.

Yelp
A healthy convenient store and GAS STATION? Yep. You can fill up your tank and grab some tacos, and I'm not mad about that! Inside is a little cafe (just a few tables, so you can also get everything to go) that serves breakfast and lunch. For breakfast, you can choose from a variety of breakfast tacos or chilaquiles bowl! For lunch, lunch tacos with other specials. Then in the little store area, they sell some beer, wine, snacks, some refrigerated goods, and more! Over the holidays, I was visiting my family in Dallas. We were on our way somewhere and decided to stop in at Green Spot to grab a quick breakfast. My little sister, dad, and I ate our breakfast tacos (simple, served with some salsas they have at a little counter) at a little table in the store. Quick, simple, delicious, convenient. And pretty unique.

Sandy S.

Yelp
There are not enough stars, available for me to write them as highly as I could. I can't even count the number of times that I have gone to the green spot for everything from gas to lunch and had a great experience. Today I was having a particularly bad morning, and the man working, I didn't catch his name, was so nice and kind. Quite a long time ago i was there and they were out of something I wanted. The same man gave me a complimentary alternative item since they didn't have what I wanted. Yes their gas is priced much higher than mini stations, but I will happily pay the extra for gas because of the people that work there, and the way they do business. Like I said, I just can't say enough good things about the green spot. Their kindness today really brought tears to my eyes, and I am grateful for them.

Danielle C.

Yelp
A cute little "spot" in the neighborhood of Old Lake Highlands filled with natural items to bring home! They have a wide selection of wines, healthy drinks and snacks that aren't your typical gas station purchases. They even have a coffee bar and area to order food. I don't know why it took me so long to come, but I'll be returning when the warm weather comes and coming often!

Guilherme U.

Yelp
This is my favorite spot after biking around white rock lake They serve delicious tacos and burgers. All natural and fresh. The spot is inside the convenience store of the gas station. They have tables and chairs inside and outside.

Garrett B.

Yelp
Best breakfast tacos in the area.. and has a great salsa selection and a great selection of local produce.

Ria G.

Yelp
Got veggie burger and a taco. Veggie burger was super delicious. Get it! Veggie taco was huge! 1 was enough to fill me up. I like everything in this except the goat cheese(coz it smelled like I was eating goat :/ ). But that's a personal preference. They can make veggie nachos, quesadillas, and what not. In fact they can vegify any item on the menu. But they close at 3(the taco shop inside the cute gas station).

Caroline C.

Yelp
Green Spot is a wonderful local restaurant / market that we frequent as they carry our favorite Noble Coyote whole bean coffees and have a delicious cafe in the back corner of the shop. For a quick sandwich or some really great, authentic tacos, it is one of our go-to spots. Parking is easy and the staff is always friendly. To order food, you go to the cafe counter and order and then take the ticket to the front of the shop to check out. They also have grab and go breakfast tacos by the register that are a good choice when you are tight on time. Love to support local businesses like the Green Spot.

Spicy M.

Yelp
I'm still coming to Green Spot for their tasty taco's! The Shrimp and the Brisket Taco's are my Most Recent favorites. Yummmm! The Breakfast Taco's are darn good, as well. The folks are friendly and this place is always consistent on quality fresh food. Casey, up front, is welcoming and helpful, as he greets ya when ya walk through the front door. My husband and I are still fans of Green Spot! We never leave without a tasty Trail Mix Cookie , either!

Kelsey S.

Yelp
Best breakfast tacos in the area. The bacon is like no other bacon I have ever tasted before. The flavor is delicious. They also sell Nobel Coyote coffee which is a plus since that is what we keep stocked at home. We try to only purchase our gas here also because we love the staff and have always had a great experience. I will mention that my car broke down the other night at the Green Spot and the lady working was so nice to come help me try to jump my car. She then remembered me when I was in the next week. Great customer service like that is what keeps us going back!

Andy I.

Yelp
I'm a big fan of the Green Spot. It is as close to California as you're going to get here in Dallas. The best feature of the Green Spot is the grab and go breakfast tacos at the check out. Especially the potato tacos. They have the most delicious, fluffy eggs and are peppered just right. I don't know how they do it. In my opinion, these are the best breakfast tacos in Dallas. Oh, btw, they have a nice craft beer selection, a chef prepared taco booth in the back and the staff is friendly.

Andy S.

Yelp
Another gas station, the fad of this place is the unique foods they offer. the staff is always really awkward like they are not sure why they are there? Inside is older but always clean gas is average price

Cat N.

Yelp
Ooo i didnt know there was a place to eat inside!!! my mom lives nearby and I never thought to go inside here to check it out until my friend told me about it. He goes biking around white rock allt he time and found this place. This is a convenient store that has organic food and they even have green gas too...in the back of the store is a mini taco place. Just like one of those ghetto tacos at a gas station but this is more expensive. I love the whole concept of organic and being healthy. The whole store has organic healthy food then you go to the back and they cook the food on grease...lol lovely!!! their tacos are about $3 each. Yes, you only get one! I had the steak and egg breakfast taco, mahi mahi lunch taco, and a brisket...steak and egg was so good and that brisket was to die for! it was so flavorful! They have french fries are good, too. I'm definitely coming back and try the burger!

Jennifer W.

Yelp
How often do you even feel like it's necessary to rate a gas station?? Usually you only have that urge when you've experienced something horrible like rats eating the hot dogs, or a serial killer following you into the ladies room. Rarely are we even interested enough in a gas station to praise it, let alone review it! Trust me, the Green Spot will change your view of gas stations forever. I actually feel like a good person whenever I purchase something here. I think it's the only place that provides biodiesel in the DFW area, and to make things even better it's a health conscious convenience store. You won't find day old deep fried hot dogs filled with nacho cheese here, instead you'll find a selection of local produce and products, and some of the best organic and health conscious food options I've seen outside of Whole Foods. The staff is incredible and inside there is the well known 'Good 2 Go Taco' place which is well known for all the incredible taco combinations they put together. Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month the White Rock Community Market is held in the parking lot, and is a must see event. Overall, this place has no comparison, and there is no better place to spend your money.

E R.

Yelp
This is a awesome little spot with a hole in the wall kitchen where they make tacos, good tacos. They also make burgers. But I have only had the tacos here. They have above average tacos from my viewpoint. I have visited a few times and the food and service are consistently great. I had a meatball taco here once it was a special limited time taco .. wish they would bring that to the menu it was fabulous.

Nancy M.

Yelp
I'll start with the breakfast tacos. I've had many in my life, and these are THE BEST. I don't really know why, but they are. There's something about the eggs maybe, the way they cook them or the quality, but the eggs are hands down the most delicious I've ever had. And the bacon in them is out of this world!! There's a salsa bar with 3 kinds to choose from, and the mild is outstanding. They might make it in-house, not sure. I've also had other things in there - all deeeelicious. I will warn you though: they told me the chilaquiles were spicy, and I thought I could handle them. I ate them, and they were very good, but SUPER hot I really love this little neighborhood gem!!!!

n g.

Yelp
I really loved this little place. I dropped by after a morning yoga class at the Arboretum, which was already mildly stressful bc I'm not a yoga person. My fuel light was on. I was starving. I didn't want to spend a lot of time or money on eating or the whole "is it just one??" routine at a restaurant. This little gem is healthy and eco friendly about everything. Picked up two bacon and egg tacos and a latte for $9. Everyone was so friendly. There's a larger grill / mini cafe in the back. And all the sundries you could want - wine, snacks, toilet paper, etc. Everyone was so friendly. Great mix of people hanging out and cracking jokes.

Nolan R.

Yelp
Best breakfast tacos and salsa in town. The salsa bar, organic oatmeal toppings, and breakfast is delicious. A great neighborhood spot offering nutritious and delicious convenient options

Steffanie B.

Yelp
2016 Yelp 100 Challenge Review #9 I often am in the area on business and I am always looking for a healthier option for lunch. I did a quick Yelp search and decided to give this one a try. I love their concept. All of their food seems to be moreso on the whole food concept. I settled in on the grass-fed burger with pepper jack cheese. It was a clean eat like I hoped for. I enjoy eating and I am always looking for ways to make it as healthy as I can to balance out my splurge moments. I also got sweet potato fries as well. It was a solid meal that did not leave me feeling heavy or lethargic. All in all, I will definitely be back and look forward to trying more of their menu. Customer service was okay. Bathroom was outside and was a tad smelly. Gas prices were reasonable! Inside it's a convenience store and a cafe - all of which is artisan, whole food, organic concepts Ice cream in the freezer, frozen yogurt, coffee available Seating inside and out Plenty of nearby parking

Liz P.

Yelp
My baby decided to take me to his favorite taco joint and it uses organic ingredients? Why not! At first glance I was pretty skeptical since it is located inside a gas station convenience store of sorts but once you go in you can see all the healthy organic snacks waiting to be purchased as well as the cute taco stand near the back. We came for lunch and I heard great things from the veggie taco so that was a must and the chicken taco. He tried the Mahi Mahi taco and he got his fav chicken. All in all my experience was great. We got to taste the moist roast chicken taco and my veggie taco was full of beans, not a fan, and the Mahi Mahi was interestingly light. I'll be back for sure-I'm sure they changed out some ingredients in their tacos since he claimed the veggie taco was supposed to have mushrooms not beans soaked through. Perk? Super close to white rock lake!

Jean H.

Yelp
Organic food. Bio Diesel. Fresh Tacos. Who would have thought that you can get all of the above at a gas station? Using ingredients from local farmers-their taco's are a healthy alternative from eating out at any other fast food place. Their seasonal Grilled Mahi-Mahi taco with Baja coleslaw, cilantro and lime is a must try! If they weren't so far away, I would drive here all the time. Also, every second and fourth Saturday they hold the White Rock Local Market. It supports local farmers, food producers and local craftsmen. If you're in the area, you should stop by.

Adam G.

Yelp
This is a cool gas station that has an awesome lil kitchen that does some good breakfast, and regular tacos. And yes, you can get some good food at these gas stations!!! And this one is a good one to come to...especially after cycling around the White Rock Lake area. You need good food to refuel up. And let me add, they also have some good coffee too. They sell Noble Coyote's coffee which is one of my favorite local coffee makers. Note: This place is a Vegetarian friendly place, and yes, their Veggie Tacos ROCK!!! You can't go wrong by coming to this gas station! You can fill up your gas tank on your car or truck, and get your coffee, and taco fix too. Cool place!!! :)

G R.

Yelp
This place has some really great food but also is just a really great place to just pop into for a quick beverage or snack! The staff is awesome

Robert W.

Yelp
I love inviting someone to lunch, then telling them I am taking them to a gas station for lunch, then taking them to the Green Spot for tacos, for great tacos (and an excellent shot of espresso after)! Maybe I have a problem, and I like to toy with people's emotions too much . . . I should check Yelp for therapist recommendations, or I'll just go buy some tacos. Although I am not a regular, I find myself there on occasion; I have not had anything here that was not great.

Tiffany H.

Yelp
Really cool to have a gas station with good for u snacks nearby. The little taco shop in the back, well I can make better food. But the kombucha on tap is a great plus! A but expensive but very convenient.

Kevin T.

Yelp
I've been a Patron of Green Spot for years, but it's been a while since I moved out of the neighborhood. Finished a bike ride and stopped by today and it's even better than it used to be. Taco's are still unique, fresh and dang tasty. Same friendly service and community feel! Good to see some things get even better with time.

Morgan M.

Yelp
Get the cane soda fountain drink and a cliff builder bar! Wonderful! Their chicken nachos and chicken burrito bowl is delightful as well!

Amy K.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that having a health-conscious mart a few blocks from my house is amazing. Their staff are super easy going and friendly. I love their coffee, kombucha, juicing and cafe offerings. All that said, they could do so much more with it, even turn it into more of a cafe / hang out spot with some rearranging of counters /shelving.

Frances H.

Yelp
Wowza! Finally, I have made my trek to the East Side and now understand why the majority of the reviews are all positive. This is an understated healthy and organic-supportive market that also serves as a gas station. Walking in, you are greeted by their adorably humble espresso/juice bar and a genuinely lovely person behind the bar. Ikea style baker's racks stacked vertically constitute the small shop, but you don't even notice the cramped space as the visual stimulation of kombucha, organic honey, tea, dried seaweed and other organic assortments occupy your attention. In the back of the joint, a somewhat makeshift cafe resides where some of the city's best burritos are served. Today, I had the luxury of enjoying the veggie and chicken taco. The chicken was particularly flavorful and dressed with delicious guacamole, onions, and oh-so creamy goat cheese. The veggie taco is packed with spicy peppers and I think, queso blanca. Nevertheless, they are worth a try!

John J.

Yelp
Ok so if you don't already know, this place just went though a bit of a "transformation". The old place (Good To Go Taco) moved out and Green Spot either started their own taco business or another tenant moved in and tried to pick up where Good To Go left off. To be fair, I'm going to give a play by play of my experiences there over the last few weeks because they are obviously experimenting with some things and trying to improve. First, they did just build an outside patio in the front with tables and seating...so, no more eating in your car in the parking lot when the place is packed lol. And they now SERVE BEER, so they get a bonus star just for that. That was a good upgrade... Now to the important part...the FOOD. First week they reopened after Good To Go Left: I went in there in the morn and they had their normal trough of breakfast tacos on the counter. This time, they had SAUSAGE in addition to the normal bacon and potato. The dude behind the counter was raving about the sausage so I got two of them and one bacon. Was a little leary because they were only charging $1.50 instead of the normal $2...and for good reason. The sausage was really bad and the bacon was so/so. Reminded me of a Whataburger taquito. The sausage seemed like it was diced up and either boiled and then mixed in with the eggs or mixed in while they were cooking. The eggs were rubbery like you'd expect when microwaving a 7/11 taco for 30 seconds too long. A major disappointment... BUT THEN... I went back in the second week. This time I avoided the sausage but got two bacon. Quite an improvement! The bacon was crumbled on top of the eggs like Good To Go always did it, plus the eggs tasted like eggs and not a dog's rubber chewing toy. Went back a couple of days later and got two of their lunch tacos. Meh, they were so/so. Kind of bland but not terrible like the breakfast tacos had been the previous week. AND THEN... The third (or maybe fourth) week. Decided to give the sausage another try. WOW, SIGNIFICANT, MAJOR, GIGANTIC, GALACTIC improvment to the fifteenth power. This time I guess they had crumbled or ground up the sausage and perhaps added some spice or chili powder to it and put it in the taco after the eggs instead of cooking them together or mixing it in when they were cooking the eggs. It was tasty and yummy. The eggs were creamy and moist. Also got a bacon taco and it was darn near as good as Good To Go. Close enough. I haven't tried any more of the lunch tacos but I'd expect those are a work in progress as well and have faith that they're improving things as they go along. Making good food isn't easy and these guys are just starting from scratch so I'll keep going back until I go several times and am disappointed, which I really don't think will happen. I'm sure the owner had to scramble a bit to try and replace the staple that had been Good To Go for over a year. Wasn't perfect right out of the gate but they did a good job of improving things very quickly. So if you happen to be one of those people that were disappointed with the place after going back the first week they reopened, you need to give them another shot. I'd hate to see this place lose any business because they had a big pair of shoes to fill in such a short time. They've made major progress. So overalll: Breakfast tacos - 4 stars now that they've had time to improve. If I was just going to rate the sausage, I'd give it 4.5 after the overhaul. Lunch tacos - 3 stars, but keep in mind I've only had them once and it was the second week they reopened. Staff - Those dudes get six stars because they're always so friendly. Especially the cashiers. So my overall rating at this time is 4 but I'm rounding to a 5 because of the staff and because I know they're trying to improve. If you were disappointed over the last couple of weeks, GIVE THEM ANOTHER SHOT!!

Yelp
Dallas is a hub to a slew of amazing taco joints. This is not one of them. While their tacos may be organic, made from local ingredients, etc, their taste has been compromised. Between my husband and I, we tried 4 different tacos types: Veggie - by far the best of the 4, Brisket, Mahi Mahi, and Chicken. The meat tacos didn't pack a lot of flavor. If this were any other city, I'd give them 4 stars, but this is Dallas, home of amazing tacos. Therefore, 3 stars. Bottom line: If you're looking for a healthy, okay tasting taco, this is your place. But if you are looking for a greasy, full of flavor taco, look elsewhere.

Yelp
Breakfast tacos were good. I really don't know how a reviewer said the place isn't pretentious though. I have gone here twice and the lady couldn't crack a smile to save her life. Anyway, I would like to check out more options here. It's a nice little treat after rinning at White Rock.
