"Yes, it’s a wildly popular Central Square bar, but Green Street is technically in Cambridgeport, so it makes the cut here. Get any number of tasty cocktails, or grab a local beer and settle into a booth for a meal of hearty pasta dishes and more while soaking up history." - Dana Hatic

"Soak up the history at this Cambridge institution while enjoying one of the most comforting mac and cheeses in town. It’s made with shells, tomato, bacon, aged Grafton cheddar, and an ample, crispy topping of herb bread crumbs." - Dana Hatic

Amazingly and surprisingly fab cocktail menu and prices. Excellent food. Superior service. The curry fries.....WOW. great steak. The pork chop was very good, but a little dry. The mushroom risotto...superior. enjoyed my time and the custom cocktails immensely.

Four of us had dinner here late Saturday night. It was excellent, our waitress usually works as a bartender and I can't remember her name, was so awesome. Highlights were the Cuban sandwich, mac n cheese, pork schnitzel and the yucca frita. Coming from Miami we were surprised the Cuban and yucca were so good. Cocktails were great too.

This place is awesome. Don't judge it by looks from the exterior, this is a hidden gem. Every time I'm in Boston, I try to visit this location for variety of drinks and gastronomy needs.... As the night progressed, the waiter managed to insult me and my date, by no means we're the pretentious type, my date was in tears. The food is still amazing and I'm hoping to come back again without this individual present. Edit 2018: crickets from management, it's been a year now, any suggestions for a similar restaurant in the area?

Comfortable bar in the middle of Cambridge. Serves variety of cocktails and beers both on draft and bottle. Can find tables for crowded parties. Only that the volume of music is too high at sometimes. Try the Kamikaze shots!

Came here for a late dinner on Saturday night. I ordered the half chicken, and my boyfriend ordered the lobster mac and cheese. The waitress was good about checking with the kitchen and the chef made some adjustments after I told them that I was intolerant to dairy, garlic, and onion. My chicken was juicy and the skin was perfectly thin and crispy, but the meat could have been more flavorful and there was that weird funny taste in the meat near the bones. My boyfriend's mac and cheese was a little liquidy, and he said he wouldn't order it again. Portions are large - my boyfriend was very full after his entrée, and I had to take some of my chicken home. Service is a little unattentive here. It takes a while to get the waitstaff's attention, and they're not particularly friendly.

Given the romantic dimly lit ambience of this bar, it is surprisingly reasonable for the area. Drinks are always good (big fan of their La Louisiana) and they frequently rotate in new options. Good music and service as well. Great place for a date or after-work drink. Have not tried the food, it looks good but is a bit pricier.

This place had the BEST atmosphere! An upscale casual flair, it had great food and decent prices. I would say that this place is in between $$ and $$$--you can get things like a burger for $12, but if you stick to their traditional menu, it runs about $22 (chicken) to $32 (beef). However, cooked well and tasted great. They also did a little candle for my birthday, which was very nice. Loved it!

I've never had a bad experience here. The staff is always on point, and even better, genuinely friendly. The atmosphere is really fun and they often spin great vinyls on the weekends. The food is excellent. They have great starters, don't sleep on the cauliflower! And the cocktails are first rate. They have some of the best in the whole metro. While I love the usuals (Division Bell, I'm looking at you), cocktail lovers should ask for the A-Z menu. Try anything with flip in the title and thank me later.
