I have been missing the Dianne salad with zucchini bread since 2010 (last time I visited Cali) it was a meal I always enjoyed at Green Street (born and raised there) I don't know why I waited so long, but I finally ordered the Dianne dressing and zucchini bread for shipment, all the way to Ohio. I work in the industry and had it shipped to my place of employment. I shared the bread with my team (toasted it a bit and added fresh butter) and oh my!!!!! All the feel goods of this comfort food was apparent on everyone's face. I'm only sad I ordered one loaf. I won't be making that mistake next time! It tastes like they made it today! I'm so thankful y'all ship this amazing dressing and bread. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! If any one of you from Green Street ever make it out here to Ohio, come see us at CCF! Had a wonderful Easter reservation lunch with my partner and his mother. I’m super sensitive to spicy foods, and so I ordered a pasta dish and asked they leave out the pepper flakes. Well turns out, the sauce had a little spice in it - to anyone else it would have been very mild, but as I said before I’m SUPER sensitive. Our server replaced my dish and suggested another, and gave me 2 servings on the house. I was so thrilled. And it was DELICIOUS. It was the Mexican Street Corn Flatbread without chili powder. Perfection. Great service, and an exquisite outdoors atmosphere. I also got some lovely pictures with my partner and his mother.

We had a fantastic brunch last Sunday at Green Street Restaurant, and I can’t recommend it enough for a weekend brunch spot. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming. Our waiter Kelly was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making our experience enjoyable. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors that made each bite memorable. Whether you’re craving a classic brunch dish or something a little more unique, their menu has something for everyone. The entire experience, from being seated to the moment we paid the bill, was seamless and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place that delivers great food, excellent service, and a relaxed weekend brunch atmosphere, Green Street Restaurant is definitely worth a visit!

What a local gem! You can't go wrong with anything on their menu, but the Cornucopia and Beet, Goat Cheese, and Arugula salads are two of my favorites! The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing, with a really nice outdoor patio area. The manager, Alex, took good care of me during my recent lunch visit. Can't wait to go back!

Food is excellent with a wide variety of. Our server had the perfect amount at attentiveness . We always enjoy going to Green Street.

We had great food and excellent service for lunch here today. Green street is known for its Dianne Salad. Every time we come here, the salad is always part of our order. Besides the salad, they have amazing food. For two of us, we got a luncheon Dianne salad and steak. The steak was delectable. It was perfectly cooked to medium just as we asked for and the flavor was amazing. I just love the grilled taste of the meat. It was also very juicy and tender. The price was very reasonable. The service here was impeccable. Our waiter wasted no time to get us drinks and brought out the delicious complimentary zucchini bread for us. When we found a bone in our salad, he was quick to took up the issue with the manage and gave us a loaf of zucchini bread to compensate us. At the end of our lunch, he got us a tropical ice tea on a to go cup for us to take it on the road, very thoughtful. Now that’s what I call excellent service!

While waiting in line, my wife was cut not once, but twice by other patrons. The first group saw her approaching the host stand and blatantly stepped in front of her. Then, the couple behind her took advantage of the chaos and squeezed their way in as well. Instead of causing a scene, my wife chose to be patient—only to be completely dismissed when she mentioned it to the front desk. The host’s response? “Why didn’t you speak up?” Here’s the thing: A restaurant’s job is to ensure a fair and welcoming environment. If multiple people feel comfortable cutting in line without consequence, that reflects poorly on management. The first group of 8 didn’t even stay (because the wait was "too long"), and the second couple already had reservations—so why the rudeness? The host’s indifference and the chaotic line etiquette left a horrible impression. If Green Street Restaurant can’t be bothered to foster basic respect among customers—or at least acknowledge when things go wrong—then they don’t deserve our business. We won’t be returning.

Delicious food in a retro modern dining room with booths and tables as well as an outdoor patio option. Don't skip on the appetizers, the chicken papaya quesdilla on corn tortilla was scrumptious, my mouth is watering thinking about it. Recommend all dishes featured in photos as they delivered great food across all plates. Paid parking garage available but Green Street Restaurant does NOT validate.

Everyone is so friendly here. Very subtle cute ambiance Came in here for a quick drink before my appointment and they were fast at the service. Will come back to try out the food. But so far loved the Expresso Martini that Joey made. It's fantastic and perfect. It's always hard to find a good quick place to drink.

We were looking for a brunch spot that had a full bar, but forgot that it was fathers day so most places were booked solid. But we stumbled upon Green Street Restaurant and they had what we were looking for. The service was good, the drinks were also very good. The food was decent. Do becareful when ordering here the portion sizes are massive especially their salads. WE ordered their famous Diane salad (their spin on a Chinese Chicken salad) a Southwest Caesar salad and a Shrimp pasta and a Reuben sandwich. The Diane salad, was underseasoned and a bit wilted, not our favorite ( it wasn't terrible but it wasn't impressive either for a signature item.) The Southwest salad and the Shrimp pasta were good, but also underseasoned i think. They have an amazing zucchini bread. The reuben sandwich was sizable, but I thinik i like the pastarmi to be more thinly sliced, these were beefy thick slices of pastrami, almost like a steak sandwich made it kinda hard to eat. The drinks were also tasty. Overall we had a good experience, some stuff needed work but nothing major. I would come back and try some other stuff again. They have inside and outside seating so if you want to do some people watching and catch a breeze.

Love this restaurant-it's like going home! Familiar, comfortable, faithful. We ordered the Dianne Salad, the Cornucopia Salad and Karen's Grilled Club. Both salads were refreshing, bright and come with zucchini bread. All yummy!

Inside/outside seating available; outside preferred. Although there are foliage barriers separating Shopper's Lame and the patio, be aware that if you're at a table near the foliage, you'll smell gas or exhaust from a running vehicle. Food and service were ok. We ordered breakfast for lunch. We waited ten minutes for butter and syrup for the pancakes. They do have an extensive menu so you'll be able to find something you like.

Breakfast in Pasadena, California... I found out about Green Street Restaurant from my friend, Regis K. He makes food look so delicious from his photos! I just had to have that famous Dianne Salad! Armando was the sole worker. He let me choose my seat in the bright, elegant environment; he took my order; and brought my meal, and later, my bill to me. He paid attention to every customer that morning! When i walked in, I actually told Armando that I wanted a Dianne Salad. He asked me if I wanted a full order or a half. I got a half and wasn't able to finish it - maybe because it came with three complimentary slices of fantastic zucchini bread! The Dianne Salad is light and refreshing. It has high quality sliced chicken, toasted slivered almonds, sesame seeds, bean thread noodles, and a sweet-tangy dressing. The portion was so large that I took the remainder "to go" and enjoyed it as a yummy midnight snack. Thanks, Regis, for sharing this treasure!

Green street has been in Pasadena for several decades. Their food is consistent. There is also a full bar . I had the Southwest salad with chicken. My sister had the Cobb salad. My salad was very good. We each received 2 generous slices of zucchini bread with butter, yum. Need to come back next time I'm visiting Pasadena and try some other dishes

Came on a Friday morning with the family and I do not regret it at all. We sat inside but there is outdoor seating as well. Service was great-fast and the servers kept checking up on us. Everyone was super friendly too. Bathrooms were equipped with baby changing station. We ordered mac & cheese, potato tacos, eggs and homemade fries, French toast and the cowboy quesadilla and everything was delicious except I've had better French toast. But definitely coming back.

What a cute place! First time visiting and it won't be the last! The inside & outside patio of the restaurant was so cute with a full bar and plenty of happy people enjoying the great ambiance. The service was very friendly and were helpful since it was my first time. The food was so delicious and I can't wait to try more things. It was lunch time and I wanted everything but I got a veggie scramble with breakfast potatoes. My friend had the Dianne Salad and I couldn't help but take nibbles of that, it was soooo good. The bread that they served was Zucchini Bread and it was delicious! So glad I had some leftover bread to take home, I enjoyed it later.

My favorite place ever. Ordered the fabulous Dianne Salad with the yummy zucchini bread. The sandwiches are so yummy. The service was fabulous and the server provided a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating area which includes inside and outside dining. They do offer one line reservations in OpenTable.

First time trying the Green Restaurant and I am glad to share it will NOT be the last. Our waiter Alex was attentive, knowledgeable, patient and personable. He let us try their signature zucchini bread; and it was delicious!!! . They are known for their salads however the non salad food Items I got were delicious. I ordered the pear and goat cheese flat bread and meatballs for the appetizers. and the Ruben with sweet potatoes fries . Each item was flavorful and did NOT disappoint. We definitely enjoyed the laid back yet classy qaint atmosphere. Alex sealed the deal of our experience by giving us a to go sample of our their bbq sauce. Altogether we will be back. BTW, they have a private parking lot with plenty of space.

I went to this restaurant over 20 years ago with a beer group of friends that knew of this place and highly recommended it. I remember their zucchini bread placed on the table next to our meal. Whatever meal is it that we ordered. The stuff was wonderful, and our salads were amazing. I hope I can get to go back soon.

Amazing service! Top notch. Quality of food was just as great. Instantly one of my favorite brunch spots in Pasadena. The bbq Cobb salad with Salmon was fantastic! High recommend.

Good ambiance with indoor and outdoor seating. As in Pasadena, there is limited parking but a free parking lot nearby. Staff was quick in taking our order and the food came out fast too. I got the Emily's Breakfast scramble ($18). It has potatoes with side of ketchup and the egg scramble has bacon bits, bell peppers, and cheese. It was pretty good and portion was decent for this price.

We plan all trips to southern Calif to stop in Pasadena at Green Street restaurant. Their food is EXCEPTIONAL. I just picked up Chicken Salad (my absolute favorite anywhere), a Karen Deli sandwich on perfectly toasted sourdough, FRESH potato chips & delicious carrot cake. My love affair with Green Street started 45 years ago (really) when I lived here. As good today it was back then. I also left with an armful of their PERFECT zucchini loaves in case we can't go back for breakfast. (Which will break my heart!)

Great place to eat but the "Diane" salad was overhyped! Came here for my niece's graduation lunch and I will say the parking is a bit of pain. We originally parked in a one hour zone. I moved the car twice before parking in the shoppers lane. But the place is great, the service was friendly and attentive. Food was good - we shared the Diana salad and it was just okay. I got the beet salad with salmon, which was good. There was an extensive kids menu - daughter had the spaghetti but wasn't really into it. She was however, in to the vanilla ice cream. So overall a cool spot with good food.

This place has always provided excellent service and good food. The ambiance is relaxing.

TL;DR - classy spot with yummy, but expensive food! solid spot for a filling lunch came here after visiting the huntington library! - the food is pretty good, very fresh & service is quick enough (burgers, fries are better than average) - i liked the seating since the restaurant is pretty large & has a nice atmosphere (not too crowded, nice decorations)

My family has been coming to Green street for over a decade but I haven't been back since pre pandemic. How i do miss their zucchini bread and their famous Diane salad. My friend has also tried their pasadena sandwich and he said it was really good. I got their steak and it was pretty blah. It had good flavor but it was overcooked and very reminiscent of a cheaper steak restaurant. But if you stick with the salad, you can't go wrong. The service was pretty good but their food took a while to come out. So it's not a quick lunch bite place.

I've always seen Green Street in this area of Pasadena but never tried it before. My friend LOVES green street so we decided to come here after our Pilates class ! This place gives off the same voibes as Urth cafe but maybe with less options ¿? I loved how they gave us complimentary zucchini bread -- KINDA TASTES LIKE BANANA BREAD OR PUMPKIN BREAD. I ordered the soup and my friend ordered the salad !!! The only con is they unfortunately do not validate parking here so you'd have to pay for parking :/ This is the perfect spot to get Sunday brunch w the gworls :)

It's been a long time since we been back here. I grew up in Pasadena and have great memories of coming to this restaurant. I'm so glad that it has survived. I was happy to hear that they were celebrating their 45 year anniversary. The food and service is amazing. The Diane salad is an iconic salad and people come to get it for many occasions. The restaurant is located behind some businesses on Lake Street. There's a parking garage, no parking validation from the restaurant. There's also street parking if you can find it. The inside is very nice and they have outside seating too. They have a full bar and offer a Build your own Gin tonic option and Bourbon flights. It's a nice date night place and also has room for big groups too. It can get very busy around lunchtime and weekends. As always support small businesses and I hope you enjoy this place too.

Just... above all things. This restaurant is located in a building that is also a parking structure and THEY DO NOT VALIDATE. Parking is TERRIBLE, the posted rate is $2 for 20 minutes which is not enough time for anything. The problem is that I really like the infamous Dianne salad. It's hard to find a decent Chinese chicken salad but the Dianne is a salad that I would rather order. Plus the Zucchini bread is excellent. Service ... I placed an order to go and the one member of staff was professional and the only complaint of course, is THEY DO NOT VALIDATE PARKING FOR THE STRUCTURE THAT THE RESTAURANT IS LOCATED IN. Not the employees fault at all. Ambiance is fairly contemporary and perhaps not memorable. What is memorable? The salad, the bread, and again, the part where parking is an issue and they do not validate.

I can't wait to return with family and friends! I recently reserved a lunch for a large group and I was happy that we were all seated together just as I had requested. The corner section with multiple tables worked out perfectly. Despite the restaurant being busy during the midweek lunch rush, our server was excellent and made sure we were well taken care of. To start we were served some of their delicious zucchini, bread, which was an absolute hit! It's pre-packaged and available for purchase as you leave - I regret not grabbing a loaf to take home. The menu offers a variety of great options and it wasn't overwhelming. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meal even with range of dietary preferences and needs. The portion here are ginormous- couple of us could've easily shared an entrée. I ordered the Chipotle Lime bowl, and they were very generous with it all. The server also brought out some extra sauce, which was perfect. I'm already planning to come back with my family for breakfast next time. I highly recommend!

A friend and I came here after a spa morning and I was a bit skeptical. Immediately obvious this place is a tried and true local restaurant. Lots of hype about the Dianne salad. As a NJ resident for the better part of my life I will admit my jaded opinion before sitting down was an eye roll. This (not so little) salad was a game changer. Seems like it shouldn't be a big deal but every thing about it - every bite was memorable. Something so simple yet so flavorful. The sweet surprise was instead of bread, they offer zucchini bread! This is a family restaurant, I would compare this to a diner in New Jersey but not exactly. Look forward to returning. Unassuming restaurant that more than delivers.

I go here all the time and this place is lovely. I love the food and the service is amazing. Prices are reasonable and they are very accommodating. Great drinks, too.

I only experienced this as takeout, so I can only comment on the good. I got to try the Dianne Salad and zucchini bread. Both were excellent. All the pieces are sliced small enough that every bite of the salad tasted great and didn't seem to be lacking anything.

Solid spot in Pasadena for either a brunch/lunch or a standard American dinner! + Parking is free in the Lake Ave lots across the street, otherwise can look for street parking Personal favorites include: - Stephen's Sandwich with cheddar: YUM!!! I don't usually go for chicken breast based dishes when I go out to eat, but this sandwich is an exception. Upgrade for sweet potato fries for a bougier experience - Cornucopia Salad: take out the blue cheese and sub for the Dianne dressing and you get an upgraded salad experience. I will say, growing up, this salad helped me enjoy eating salads and I still enjoy the salad to this day. The prices have increased over the years to match inflation, but now it doesn't feel like an easy neighborhood lunch spot. All orders come with the famous zucchini bread which can also be taken home too!

Vegan options are pretty slim, but what they do offer tastes amazing. The flavors in the Ginger Veggie Bowl are phenomenal. The cocktails are great as well!

I haven't been to Green Street restaurant for many years, and they have upgraded the decor inside, and the food is even better than it was the years I used to come and enjoy my dining. We had the pleasure of having Joey who was just amazing, amicable, and very attentive server, who knows the menu, which he recommended some great dishes that was very good!!the menu is so massive that it is so much to choose from from brunch, lunch, and dinner options. They have really good reasonable prices, and a lot of food that you can get with very good quality. Also, they have a nice bar area where you could sit, and they make some really good drinks and have a good wine collection for my drink. I tried the espresso martini and I had a glass of red wine called "decoy." That I am def a fan of now! This was a definitely a good time to have brunch on a Saturday with good customer service very clean inside and also a good atmosphere for small group celebrations or just if you want to come and sit at the bar to grab a drink . They have a parking garage to the left but you do have to pay for that parking lot . They also have a few handicap parking available out front. Overall, I would definitely be back here. This will be one of my new spots to come and have brunch and lunch. I do recommend, in lovely Pasadena and a classic for sure. -Marshay Dede

Wonderful !!! - it's upscale casual - With excellent service / and two dining areas / Indoors is decorated New York style with Black and Whites /The outdoor area has a friendly LA Brentwood vibe/ The menu is very affordable and offers a price range up to however high you want to spend / The bar and wine cellar has any drink you are looking for/ Food or appetizers, you can't lose- it's the type of place you will keep coming back to

I was here for the first time in a long time. I used to get this place confused with Green Street Tavern. LOL. My bad. Anyway, the location is somewhat hidden, but it's clean and modern, next to a parking structure and lot. It's conveniently close to Philz Coffee, Sugarfish, and Uovo. I arrived first and was seated right away. I had a pear martini, since I wasn't in the mood for a heavier drink at 11:30am on a Friday morning. Joe was awesome! He served my table and shook up some tasty drinks. He was a superstar! I had the Diane salad was impressed by it. Originally, I shrugged it off and wasn't too impressed by the basic look of it. However, it came in a beautifully, tossed mound of veggies, crispy noodles, and chicken breasts chunks with salad dressing. Honestly, it was a lot of salad, but it was balanced with the right amount of dressing. I ended up saving half of it for early dinner that day. Overall, I would rate it the 3.5, and round up. It's a good casual lunch place that serves cocktails and something for everyone.

Amazing service and food. I stopped by after my hair appointment and was seated at the cute patio. I ordered the Veracruz chopped salad and a side of apple sausage. So impressed with the salad and the sausage was decent. The shrimp was so well cooked & if you like a Mexican style salad, definitely get it. Very generous salad portion, I barely finished half. Also, the free zucchini bread is delicious. This is one of my favorite spots for a reason!

Awe, this was the first time I was so disappointed with my meal. I didn't understand the lower review's bc I had always very much enjoyed my meals here. However, after my last meal, I understand. I ordered the home made potato chips with accompanying Parmesan/blue cheese dip, and onion dip for just over $11. Some chips were cooked and fried perfectly crisp, others were a little limp. Chips weren't the problem though. The dips were absolutely awful. The Parmesan/blue cheese was very thick and flavors were intensely concentrated beyond enjoyment. That's coming from someone who LOVES eating chunks of blue cheese and Parmesan but this was a Frankenstein gone wrong. I couldn't believe the onion dip was worse. It was almost as sweet as jam. They either added sugar, or caramelized the onions much too long. It was like dipping salty chips into a candy dip. Just gross. I had high hopes for my $38 main course: lemon rubbed swordfish with a caper sauce on a bed of arugula and orzo. This wasn't bad like the appetizer, it was disappointing in its own way. The swordfish was great. It was wonderfully tender, moist and seasoned well. The orzo and arugula were what ruined the dish by being dreadfully bland. It was mixed and coated with oil but that's about it. No salt, no lemon, no nothing. I don't even think the water the orzo was boiled in was salted. The fish was nice but since the majority of what the dish comprised of was a mountain of orzo and arugula, it was over all a very boring, flat, dull and monotonous bite after bite. I should have retuned both dishes but I thought I would salvage leftovers at home. I eventually just threw it away deciding not to deal with it.

Not great. Not awful. Just average food. Staff pleasant but not enough of them. Our waitress was coveting too many tables to give us anything like personal service. She was hustling but always too busy just to serve us properly. Rushing away and rushing back. Felt bad for her. Food: well ... very LARGE portions. Way too large! Would have preferred smaller portions of higher quality food! It was generic, at best. Had the Thai chicken. Really a disappointment. So tasteless and bland. Diane salad decent but so huge. Even after splitting had a huge salad left. Carrot cake: huge slice. Totally ordinary. So if you like lots of food of edible but bland taste ... this is your spot.

STILL A GREAT PLACE TO DINE ON LAKE AVENUE ======================================= My husband, nephew, nephew's fiance, my sister-in-law and I all met for lunch January 17, 2024 and everyone was happy with their meals. I usually order the Diane salad, but I felt like having a half sandwich with salad combo for a change. The tuna salad sandwich on rosemary bread was great and I enjoyed the salad with some beets. A couple in our group ordered the various salads and they loved those. They ordered half kale too which sounded good. I'll have to order that the next time. TIP: 1. Be careful when parking the structure. My husband paid for parking on the first floor before going up to his car and then the gate would not recognize that he had paid when he was exiting at the gate. I would recommend just paying at the gate. It may piss someone off behind you, but it's better then paying too much for parking. 2. If you want to get some exercise just two blocks south at the Macy's complex. Parking is free and you'll get some steps in.

Casual restaurant that gives elevated diner vibes with the option to eat outside. We were greeted by the friendliest waiter and the service all around was great. The food was good. Nothing mind blowing or outside of the box, but a decent traditional breakfast. Now the mimosas..whew! I felt like we were given a double or something because my Mom and I were lit off of one glass each. Not complaining about that at all :)

Green Street Restaurant is a staple of Pasadena! We ordered the Dianne Salad - Luncheon version and the spicy shrimp tacos. This was way too much food for 2 people. The salad basically looked untouched when we took it home. The Dianne Salad is huge and delicious. I highly recommend getting a smaller side - either luncheon or small. The zucchini bread is also amazing. It came with the Salad - two total pieces. The shrimp tacos were also yummy. I asked for the salsa that went well with the tacos. We enjoyed all the food we ordered, but did notice it was a bit pricey - almost every dish, even the appetizers were $20+. There were only a handful of items under $15. Park across the street in the Susie cakes parking lot. It's free for 90 mins (vs the paid parking structure in the same plaza as the restaurant)

This restaurant is nice. Large portions and delicious. Order the Dianna Salad, you won't be disappointed. I ordered a small and had so much left over. I ate as much as I could. Pictures is the roasted poblano turkey burger. It was delicious but messy. Fell apart with every bite but hey, it'll fall apart as you chew. Sweet potato fries were hot, crisp and soft on the inside. Outside seating is available. I definitely enjoyed lunch here. Server was very nice and friendly.

Green Street was not a bad spot in Pasadena. Plenty of seating, good service. Food was a little underwhelming for the price, but not bad. Interior felt a little old. I ordered the steak and Dianne. Steak was ok, a lot salad. Zucchini bread was good. Honestly, I think this place was a solid 3.5, but rounded up since I thought a 3 did not do this place justice.

Very good service. We ordered their famous Asian Chicken salad and chicken sandwich. The sandwich was delicious. The chicken salad was huge portion. It got soggy and sweet the following. I think i wanted this to have less dressing and less sugar. Overall its a great place to meet for lunch.

Service was attentive. Environment is casual and comfortable. Bathrooms are large and clean. Food is pretty good. Diane salad is always satisfying and the portions are enormous. 3.5

POOR Customer Service!! @Green Street Restaurant Pasadena As we entered the front door of the restaurant one hour before closing, there was a host at the reception podium and he asked how many in our party I advised "two" and we were hoping for a bit of a cozy or somewhat out of the center of the room table as this was a drop in to try this establishment for our anniversary dinner. Tables/booths were cleared at both ends of the dining room in preparation for closing as is understandable and only center of the room was left available with a number of customers clustered together that condensed the dining room. While I completely understand the need to trim tables and booths out to begin the closing process, the hist was in a non-negotiable and matter of fact "we're closing and cannot accommodate a table or booth. No apology or understanding for the situation and he made the decision to seat my wife and I in a window seat near a loud and busy table then left in a rush to attend to what appeared to be his closing duties. With an hour left on the clock and the inflexibility demonstrated by your employee, it became clear his closing duties far outweighed the opportunity to serve us and make a lasting positive impression. He single handedly confirmed the opposite and I asked for the floor manager and explained the situation. He apologized however did not make any gesture or comment on how he might keep our business or accommodate us with a simple table just off the main floor. I advised the floor manager, we would be leaving and would identify an accommodating restaurant. No words were expressed as I walked to the door and left the Green Street Restaurant with disappointment and surprise. Unfortunate your team cannot or does not have the skill set to save a customer or accommodate such a small ask for service. Our fine dining experience went to an establishment on the same street which we will revisit . Your best business and your best revenue customers are your return customers. Your establishment has lost that opportunity with us and I would suspect others. If it is ok to let good business walk, customer service and opportunity to make money is not your forte !

Haven't been here in awhile. I've been vegetarian - got here and it was busy. Which is fine, we had a reservation. Took a long time to even get water to drink, again fine. My kids ordered burgers and I got a VEGGIE burger and asked for a side salad with the Diane dressing.. server said ok. I get the salad and it's the actual Dianne salad with chicken. As a side to my VEGGIE burger. I politely let the server know, if someone's ordering a veggie burger they probably don't want meat in the salad and she should clarify - what is meant for the order?? (In her defense, it was loud and she probably didn't hear me when I asked for the DRESSING- ) I'd also like to say the server did offer to remake the salad, but at the point it had already taken 40ish minutes to get our means and another 25 before anyone asked if we were ok.. at that point we just wanted the check to leave

Here I present my favorite steak house in Pasadena -- Green Street. I ordered my usual Steak and Dianne which comes with a 8oz NY steak certified Angus Beef charbroiled and the Dianne salad with chicken, Asian noodles, toasted almonds, sesame seeds, shredded lettuce and Dianne dressing.  Very elegant dinning area with indoor/outdoor seating. Well trained waiters/tresses. I enjoy my dining experience very much, all staffs are attentive and friendly. They are also well known for their zucchini bread which is freshly bakes everyday!! I bought an extra loaf for my family.

Called in and ordered a Green Street Cobb salad, small catering size, that feeds 4-5 people as a main dish or 8 to 10 as a side. Came with their amazing zucchini bread. Ordered 2 ginger flank steak dinners with brown rice and vegetables and fruit. The steak was amazing. Medium rare. Perfect. I wasn't expecting EVERYTHING to be so good!( takeout) Great Sunday meal despite the Buffalo Bills losing the game. Thank you Green Street!

Amazing Food & Even Better People! Had an awesome time at Green Street Cafe. I got the beef steak kebab plate, and it was perfectly cooked--tender, juicy, and full of flavor. My girlfriend went with the chicken and lula plate, and she loved it. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, and the portions were more than generous. What really made the experience special were the owners. They were so friendly and welcoming, it felt like we were eating at a friend's place. We'll definitely be back soon--this spot's a gem!

Thomas our server was attentive and friendly. I loved his patience and honesty. Eight of us teachers went out. The music was great in the background. They brought us complimentary zucchini bread that was delicious. The flatbread was amazing. I had the chipotle shrimp flatbread with mango delicious. The apple and goat cheese flatbread was like a dessert in its sweetness. Salads are enormous...get the lunch size and trust me it is still enormous. Chips are huge but need salt. Guacamole healthy serving at least two giant avocados. Southwest chicken salad was a keeper.
