I enjoyed the Mediterranean bowl, I made a special request to change the rice from brown to white. They accommodated my request with no hesitation. This was my first visit, ordering was easy, sometimes when I go somewhere new it can be complicated. All the employees were nice. We will definitely go back.

I love this place. Extreme gluten allergy so its nice to be able to eat somewhere without worry. I ate here last night and I'm having an extreme allergic reaction. I will sadly never eat here again as its never worth the risk. Thanks for trying, but even one mess up is never worth it. If you want to take the risk, the food is good and they're supposed to have some good training on allergies. But, I have an extreme allergy so its not worth the risk for me.

A delicious treat on my lunch break for class! Service is quick and friendly. All the ingredients are very fresh. I picked the Ahi Tuna bowl- super good choice. The atmosphere is clean, accommodating, and comfortable.

I come in here all the time and it is one of my favorite places to eat! The staff is always super friendly and attentive and the decor is so cute. I usually get the avocado bacon ranch salad and it is always do fresh and delicious. If you are looking for a clean and green place to eat, Green Tomato Grill is the place!

Green Tomato Grill is a great place to take anyone looking for a wonderful vegan or vegetarian restaurant. The good news is that there are non-vegan options, too. Everything we have eaten here is very tasty and served hot. During this visit, we ordered the corn chowder, and it was very flavorful, and it has some heat if you like spice! The service is always fast and friendly, I highly recommend Green Tomato Grill.

Love the mix of vegan options and healthy non-vegan options at this place. This is my second time here and it's not even close to my house. That's how much I like this place. This time around I got the grass fed beed burger with a side off crispy cauliflower. It was... amaze balls!!! The vegan burger was also very good and the patty was super thick so it is larger than the beef double burger. I highly recommend this place

GTG was a very nice surprise. Met up for lunch with one of my clients in HB. We had planned on meeting up at Mangia Mangia. Both of us have been there for lunch before, so we just assumed they still serve lunch. Well, they're now just open for dinner. So we had to pivot and of course I turned to Yelp to check what's nearby. And across the street was GTG. Their menu is a colorful mix of globally inspired dishes--think chimichurri bowls, Thai wraps, blackened fish tacos, and vegan char burgers. Everything is made from scratch, and they cater to a wide range of dietary needs, including gluten-free, vegan, paleo, and keto options. They have a decent breakfast/brunch menu and opens at 8 am. I love anything with chimichurri so getting the Argentinian Chimichurri bowl was a no brainer. You choose whatever protein you like - chicken, steak, tofu, shrimp, salmon (all grilled) served with chick peas, tomatoes, red onions, mushroom, rice and their signature chimichurri sauce. What sets them apart is their commitment to sustainability: compostable containers, plastic-free packaging, and a focus on fresh, wholesome ingredients. GTG offers generous portions, friendly service, and the ability to customize nearly every dish. Got takeout so personally can't comment on the ambience of the place. Had no idea a place like this existed, so I was excited to give it a try. 8/10 Baja Cali Bowl ($13.86): Pretty good! Grilled steak was cooked nicely and the baja green sauce really complemented the dish. I definitely wish the veggies were a little more fresh, but you get what you're paying for. 7/10 Cucumber Ginger Mint Refresher ($5.94): Given that the picture online displays the drink in a cup, I was pretty surprised to see it come in a bottle which makes me think they don't make it fresh daily. Could have been a less gingery but still pretty good.

overall, pretty healthy & good variety of food, as well as nice seating they forgot to include avocado in my wrap, but then gave me another, so that was nice. if i hadn't caught it, it would be sort of a rip off so that has discouraged me from coming back. food is made fairly fast, but it's not really a grab and go place unless you order ahead of time. there are both booths & tables, with a green earthy interior that feels very modern/unique.

I have recently been trying to consume less meat and dairy, so I have been looking for vegan restaurants. I was not really into the food here :( we had a vegan chicken sandwich and a regular burger with vegan cheese. I felt like the burger wasn't seasoned very much, they also brought it out wayyy later than the chicken sandwich because they kept accidentally making a vegan burger lol. The chicken sandwich was super spicy and I wasn't a fan of the flavor of the spice. I wish I liked it :( I might come back to try other things!

I love this place! I especially appreciate the consistency in the food, service, and cleanliness of the shop. The customer service is really great, and I find that the workers are always attentive to customers while running a smooth operation--they are consistently on top of things. I do feel a little guilty as every time I order, I ask about the menu and what they like to eat, but their recommendations always hit the spot! Great place to study too. Wi-fi is fast, and the appetizers are filling at a good price. With their Fall menu just dropping, this is for sure my go-to spot! I recommend their new fried green tomato sandwich! :)

Food and service was good! The hummus (without the chimichurri) was my absolute favorite part! It was so good! I wish I got more! The pita was also nice and fluffy! I got the chile verde bowl and it was alright. Idky I was not a fan of the rice and there was a lot of it. But! The chicken was well seasoned and I loved the combo of veggies in it! The service was AMAZING! They were so nice, helpful and had great recommendations. The food was fast to come out and they were quick to clean! I also like the vibes, lots of plants, one even named Sara haha. If I was local I'd come back!

I used to order lunch here daily. But there is no consistency in how items are made on a day to day basis, they've changed recipes and taken vegan items off the menu. Vegan proteins are the tofu they overcook to hockey pucks or their too thick chicken tenders. They took the impossible/ beyond beef off the menu. They took off the build your own option too and the chickpea salad sandwich, items that stood out for non meat eaters. Today I ordered an item usually loaded with veggies (Mediterranean wrap) but what arrived was a pita wrap of just tomatoes and olives, the items I asked to be taken off. They didn't include the usual sauce, just the one I paid extra for. So I'm done. I'll be ordering elsewhere from now on.

Found a new fav spot. Food was warm, healthy, & sooo good. Accidentally ordered a cold brew and let's say it was a v happy accident. Dangerous almost cuz i might come back too often for it now. Loved the spicy sauce options and staff was super sweet. Ordered a chili verde bowl with chicken and would def get it again. Flavors aren't anything crazy or overpowering with sauce. Just simple bowl of good ingredients. Love it.

Everything, every time we go- is CONSISTENTLY above excellent. The staff- today was a young lady named Sam- is superb and exceptional. They're helpful and kind and we love it! Great price, great food!

After starting a gluten free and dairy free diet, it was an excruciating challenge to be able to eat out with my family and friends. Upon Yelping, I found this place and remembered I had tried it a while ago (without the dietary restrictions) and it was good. So I decided to give it a shot again, this time with gf and df choices. Overall, it is a blessing because they have a very generous menu for vegan, df, and gf options, which is great. As for flavor, having tried their non-restrictive options vs. the restrictions, I will admit the original options are better/more flavorful, however, it's great to have a restaurant with more variety for those who want to eat out with others. Even my mom enjoyed the different bowls and sandwiches when we've gone there. Each time, we're greeted with friendly helpful staff, and the atmosphere is an overall "green" clean vibe.

Ordered takeout so I can't speak to a dine-in experience here, but overall this seems like a good option if you're looking for healthier fast casual food. I got a miso ginger salmon bowl. It tasted fine but nothing really stood out about it, and the subtle miso ginger sauce was overpowered by the salt and pepper on the salmon. However, it had a good balance of protein and veggies, and at its decent price point I would be open to trying other dishes from the menu.

First time eating at GTG. The food was so fresh, healthy and delicious. We really enjoyed the fish tacos, sweet potato fries and chicken salad. We also got the Matcha latte and Pineapple Strawberry Refresher. So refreshing and flavorful. Monet was very helpful and hospitable. We appreciate her recommendation of the food and drinks. The restaurant was bright and clean. We definitely will be back soon!

Fast and friendly service. Food was delicious although I wish the salad came with a little bit more vegetables. It was all squished at the bottom so it wasn't really filling. The soup was hearty and the pumpkin seeds and cranberries were a great touch. It reminded me of a more upscale Souplantation but without the all you can eat. Healthy ingredients and nothing heavy. Plenty of seating and parking on a Saturday lunch time.

Wow I love this place, I come here and get food all the time. I just came here to get my food & they forgot my sauce, gave me a different sauce I came back to ask for the correct sauce and the worker was demanding i pay for it. Obviously had to give me the sauce cause I was in the right. A young girl gave me my order she was VERY RUDE. Said I was paying for it next time, And she's just doing her job. Then do it correctly and don't cause scenes for no reason! Some people shouldn't work in customer service. Gotta watch yourself because not everybody would react as kindly.

First time at this place. Great place for vegetarians! I told the cashier I was vegetarian and he walked me through all the options! Great customer service! Super nice and helpful. I got the breakfast tacos with the soyrizo hash and they were AMAZING! Super fresh and the flavors of all the sauces went well and tasted so good. Definitely recommend, especially if you're vegetarian, and will be back. My only wee small complaint would be the music was a tad too loud for 9am, but it was good music, so there's that.

Miso bowl w grilled chicken - healthy yet hearty meal, brown rice is a bit hard and undercooked but chicken super tender and flavorful. love how it came hot. sauce paired w bowl and wasn't overly salty There is a bit of a wait time for dine in but food came out hot. Restaurant spacious with lots of seating, free water cups available. Easy parking. Staff friendly.

The food here is delicious, healthy and affordable. I would come here everyday if I lived nearby. Thank goodness for yelp, I would've never found this place if I didn't look on yelp.

My new favorite place. I'm a meat eater but can't do dairy or gluten so this place has everything I need! Everything is very well priced surprisingly for being that special dietary restrictions.

Love this place! Especilly the tomato bisque soup. We usually stay as long as we wish and they don't bum-rush us.

For a fast-food style location, this was a delicious lunch. We were greeted by the Manager, Cameron at the front register who was very helpful and fun to chat up. I asked about the various plants around the location, which seemed to all have names. It was a fun aspect, and the plants were all thriving, which tends to happen around good 'vibes.' On to the delicious aspect, I had the Chimichurri Chicken Melt, which consisted of grilled chicken, arugula, broccoli, grilled onion, sriracha bacon, cheddar jack & chimichurri on flatbread. Great flavor and totally filling. I washed my lunch down with a locally canned, Fermensch kombucha, Blueberry/Lavender/Chamomile flavor, also known as the purple can.

Omg the owner of is location is sooo condescending! He had called over two other employees and said "hey let me yell at you for a minute" he then proceeded to sooo condescending talk down to the other employees in front of customers very passive aggressively about how they need to keep equipment clean, and how tomato will spend so much money, etc. etc. it was so bad. I can't believe he did that like watch your surroundings bro! I felt so bad....the owner, having a power trip like that made me feel uncomfortable. Not cool, people are watching and listening all around you. I came into this location because I had gotten a free entrée from the location in orange. What's up with these green tomato grills lol hopefully I just continued to have maybe a better experience than I've had!

I absolutely love coming here after afternoon cardio. I am a vegan so let me give that disclaimer because it is hard to find vegan food that is fresh and made with real ingredients at a price that is not astronomically high. The staff is kind and the food is made fresh and fast with seasoning making everything very flavorful. I got the Argentinian Chimichurri bowl with no protein because I don't do meat or tofu and it is absolutely delicious for those who don't do spicy heat it is not spicy but flavorful with a light char on the veggies. My daughter got the kids bowl with rice, beans, chicken and broccoli which she also enjoyed with my sauce and was do full we took half of it home. I also did the cucumber, ginger refresher omg I'm definitely having it again. The environment is beautiful with greenery, gender neutral restrooms and open seating where the food will be delivered to you with a number.

Everything I've had here is flavorful. I recommend fish tacos & crispy cauliflour. My mom is lactose intolerant and there were so many options for her. She was even able to have their vegan & a couple of other cookies. She was a happy camper.

I hate to leave this review because my family has always enjoyed GTG; however, my recent experience was very disappointing. I think it's great that GTG has been able to expand, but now it feels like other fast food places where both service and quality have gone down. The employee was unfriendly and kept on walking away from the register while serving multiple customers. For the B1G1 bowl, she said each order had to be placed in separate transactions (which is fine), but I think the issue was she didn't know how to use the register. Worst of all and this was inexcusable, the rice was RAW, which I didn't find out until I was home. I'm not talking undercooked either - it was literally raw and inedible, where you could hear how hard it was by moving it around in the paper bowl. Even if it was B1G1, it wasn't worth it.

GTG is great if you want to eat healthy, and the portions are generous for the price. The staff is always so nice at every GTG location too. I've tried the ahi tuna poke bowl (the sauce made it taste unpleasant and sour), teriyaki chicken bowl, and chimichurri bowl. My favorite is still the teriyaki bowl, but the chimichurri bowl is good too.

Great place if you want to eat a little cleaner. Their bowls are great, you can add extra protein to their bowls and get a killer chimi bowl with a bunch of steak and shrimp for under $20. Great sandwiches as well, but burger is weak, but that's ok as I'm not eating at a spot like this for the burgers. It's cafeteria style so you order at the counter....and they don't have a tip option. Kind of refreshing with all this tip fatigue these days.

I came here because my sister is vegan and she suggested the place. I was a little skeptical because it was vegan, but I was surprised that they have meat options! I tried the chimchuri melt, which consisted of chicken, chimchuri sauce, grilled onions, cheese broccoli, and it was BOMB. I also got a gluten free bread on the outside, and it was delicious. My kids got a chicken quesadilla and a burger, which comes with a drink. My wife tried their Philly chicken melt and loved it. We liked this place so much we suggested it to family and went again the next day! This spot is right off goldenwest in a large parking lot that also includes Hobby Lobby. Parking is very easy, and there's also tons of seating. We also tried their vegan cookies, and those were SUPER GOOD. I'm not a huge vegan lover, but the cookies were nice and sweet. They had 3, chocolate chip, double chocolate chips, and oatmeal raisin. Surprisingly, I loved the seasonal oatmeal raisin the best. Their sweet potato fries were also very good. It was a bit expensive, though, around $5. Service was good. They gave suggestions and even gave me a second little sauce at no charge. Very family friendly, and the ambiance was very laid back and casual. Very good food. I think I'd like to try the bowls next time. Definitely recommend this place if you're in HB. Everyone would enjoy it.

First time trying the Chipotle ranch wrap. 10/10!! So yummy! Definitely going to be a favorite for awhile

We placed a catering order for a family event. We needed all-vegan food, and Green Tomato Grill was the perfect choice! I worked with Karina, and she was great. She was very accommodating and attentive to my requests. We ordered three different kinds of Vegan wraps: Greek, Chipotle Ranch and Thai Cashew. All were fresh, oh-so- tasty, and attractively displayed / packaged in half-wrap serving sizes. Our guests loved them, and many asked where they were purchased from. We opted for delivery to save time, and the delivery person was so prompt - literally 3:30pm on the dot. He arrived with a large cooler on a rolling cart, and brought them in and lifted them onto our serving table. So helpful & kind. I highly recommend trying out this place. We were very impressed with our experience.

Was visiting from out of town and got their BBQ Tofu Bowl. SOO GOOOD! loved how crispy their tofu was and the ingredients just matched up well. BBQ sauce was not the traditional kind but I liked it. I was spreading it as I was eating it so it was good. 100% recommend!

Wanted a healthy lunch with different options and Green Tomato fit the bill. I had the Greek Mezze bowl and my husband ordered the Thai chicken cashew wrap. We also got the fried green tomatoes which paired well with their ranch dipping sauce. Food was tasty and fresh and pricing was very reasonable. Emily was the employee assisting us and she was super helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area!

As a X Elite Yelper, I find time to review restaurants when it effects, my taste buds or wallet. Green Tomato is D.D.D.Delicious!!!!! I typically get the Thai Bowl and I'm never ever disappointed. I get the same great quality bowl every singletime. I don't have pictures but look on their website. I think it actually taste better than it looks.

Visited last night with a friend for dinner and had a great time. We were greeted by a very friendly girl when we walked in. The menu is posted behind the counter and is very easy to read. I love how many creative clean options they offer. We placed our orders and found a table in the dining area. Seating was plentiful, with booth and table and chair selections. My friend got iced tea and I enjoyed their root-beer from the fountain. Their ice machine was broken but the girl behind the counter happily filled our cups with the best pebble ice ever!!! For dinner we ordered the chicken Mediterranean bowl and the Mediterranean salad with salmon off the paleo keto menu. The same girl who took our order and gave us the awesome ice delivered our food with a smile. Both meals were delicious and we devoured each flavorful bite. When we were done we sat and chatted and the gal behind the counter came and cleared our plates! It was an above and beyond gesture and I wish I had gotten her name because she absolutely deserved to be praised for her attentiveness. Great work green tomato! We will definitely be back! Two bathrooms are located in the back and both were clean.

Workers lack customer service. Didn't greet me or give any effort to when taking my order. They also were too busy talking to each other and made me wait 30 mins while my bowl was getting cold on the side. The worker had a middle part, brown hair and white and was talking to hispanic girl with an a owala bottle. They didn't even call out my name, I had to ask how long it's gonna take for my food after waiting the 30 min. and they responded with 'ohh it's right here! i didn't do that? we're sooo bad'. Bad service makes me want to stay away from this place, sucks cuz their food is pretty good.

This place is amazing! The quality of the food and service was really great and I will definitely be back! They have so many different vegan and gluten free options and the food is delicious! The Thai bowl was so flavorful and fresh! Would definitely recommend getting a refresher as well!

I've been coming to Green Tomato Grill in HB almost daily for the past year since I work in the area. Food is always fresh, delicious and healthy. This has been a game changer for me as far as keeping my macros in check while on the go. The staff are extremely friendly and always remember your name and will go the extra mile to make sure everything is right for you. Restaurant is clean and cozy as well, they usually have nice relaxing music on in the background as well! Definitely recommend GTG as a healthy fast-food option.

Saturday evening dinner and looking for healthy food led us here. This was obviously another restaurant and repurposed the inside. Decor was on brand for the food theme. Staff had their own plants. Order at the counter and take a seat. They will bring your order. Staff were friendly. I had the salsa verde bowl with chicken. It was well done. With a good amount of veggies. Salsa verde was good on top. The base was rice. Skipped that as it was filler. Tasty overall. I also had the pineapple lemonade. Was tasty as well. Price was ~$12 for the bowl. Overall, a hidden gem in looking for more veggie centric meals.

Meet a friend here for lunch after not eating here in a while. I picked Green Tomato Grill because we both have a lot of food intolerances and allergies. Food was very fresh tasting, service was friendly and atmosphere was more than pleasant. We both loved how easy it is to customize whatever you want to order. Prices seemed reasonable by today's standards.

This was my first time trying Green Tomato Grill, and would go back again for a fresh lunch/dinner option. I split the chicken chimmichurri melt with my husband and ordered extra sauce on side. Totally delicious and fresh flavor from the grilled chicken, broccoli, greens, and grilled onions- every bite was tasty and savory! We also shared a bowl of tomato bisque and house salad- both good flavor! For the house salad, the agave lime vinaigrette is light and refreshing. We look forward to trying out the different protein and options for bowls and tacos soon!

Service is a walk up and order. The ambiance is nice. And the food is good. Healthy food menu.

The kids children bowl was delectable, full of flavor and tasty avocados. The service from Ariela was superb, she knows her stuff and always makes our experience memorable. I had the tumeric ginger coconut milk curry with chicken bowl and it was very delicious, great taste and very fresh. The lady who took my order today was very friendly, she told me to add spinach to it and it was amazing. Love this place and will consider going back to enjoy more of their delicious food.

You could improve customer service . Girl on phone this evening sounded very tired. I asked her whats on the greek salad. She told me olives, cucumbers, pepperonis, i asked her to hold the pepperonis. My husband picked it up . , my salad had pepperonis on it . And also loads of tomato's on it . She never told me they were on it . I am highly allergic to tomato's. Also very little steak was in my salad. Would've come back but you were closing . Other restaurant in my opinion lacking in service and food.

Service: The girl at the front taking our order was extremely unpleasant. She from the start already looked annoyed to take our order and was doing random stuff for a bit and didnt say hi or anything and just had us waiting. When she did take our order I had asked about protein options in the Chili Verde bowl, to which she irritatedly said to it would be on the menu and added that it was the one right above us in a snarky tone. Not a single smile on this girl. Noticed she was doing this to every customer and not just us. The man working when I asked about my bowl was helpful and nice Food: My Chile Verde Bowl was 90% rice with a pathetic amount of corn and rice. I asked for no bell peppers and the avocado amount was sufficient. My +$2 charge for grilled steak was an offensive amount. Want to pay over 13$ for a bowl of rice ? I recommend this one then. The taste and flavor was good aside from the fact it was a bowl of rice practically Ambiance: Its clean and pretty here. No complaints and the temperature was comfortable Overall the portions were insulting and the worker they have at the front is a buzz kill, it ruined my meal.

Food is great, all the employees are typically very friendly except for the female with the shaved head- she is incredibly rude. Otherwise good place, always clean.
