We have a broad range of food allergies/sensitivities in our family and Jack was very knowledgeable, patient and supportive. This establishment caters to gluten intolerant people and they can make anything gluten free. It is difficult to avoid nuts, but doable. If you have a shellfish allergy do not get anything grilled. Besides their awesome accommodations the food was really tasty.

Chimichurri bowl was amazing, my girlfriend loved her winter harvest salad with salmon. One of the best gluten-free cookies I've seen for my gf. The girl who answered my call was super nice too. Love this place, instantly became our new favorite!

I enjoyed the Mediterranean bowl, I made a special request to change the rice from brown to white. They accommodated my request with no hesitation. This was my first visit, ordering was easy, sometimes when I go somewhere new it can be complicated. All the employees were nice. We will definitely go back.

A delicious treat on my lunch break for class! Service is quick and friendly. All the ingredients are very fresh. I picked the Ahi Tuna bowl- super good choice. The atmosphere is clean, accommodating, and comfortable.

I come in here all the time and it is one of my favorite places to eat! The staff is always super friendly and attentive and the decor is so cute. I usually get the avocado bacon ranch salad and it is always do fresh and delicious. If you are looking for a clean and green place to eat, Green Tomato Grill is the place!

Green Tomato Grill is a great place to take anyone looking for a wonderful vegan or vegetarian restaurant. The good news is that there are non-vegan options, too. Everything we have eaten here is very tasty and served hot. During this visit, we ordered the corn chowder, and it was very flavorful, and it has some heat if you like spice! The service is always fast and friendly, I highly recommend Green Tomato Grill.

I love this place. Extreme gluten allergy so its nice to be able to eat somewhere without worry. I ate here last night and I'm having an extreme allergic reaction. I will sadly never eat here again as its never worth the risk. Thanks for trying, but even one mess up is never worth it. If you want to take the risk, the food is good and they're supposed to have some good training on allergies. But, I have an extreme allergy so its not worth the risk for me.

A great choice for Healthy food, Salad and Keto lovers. Clean place and very kind team. They offered us a free drink since it was our first visit. Definitely will be back to try the other dishes. Thank you Green Tomato Grill Team

tldr: clean establishment. friendly and helpful staff. tasty and well prepared food the staff is super friendly and helpful with making decisions. i wasn't sure about which lemonade to get and the staff let me get samples to be sure. the food was good but wait was a bit long. the food tasted really fresh so it was worth it tho.

I came across green tomato grill because I wanted a healthy meal that incorporated protein, rice, and vegetable. I had a chicken bowl with veggies and rice. It's a good portion size, and was prepared quickly. I also tried the mint lemonade and that paired really nicely with the bowl. Plenty of inside seating and outside parking. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful with the menu,

Got takeout so personally can't comment on the ambience of the place. Had no idea a place like this existed, so I was excited to give it a try. 8/10 Baja Cali Bowl ($13.86): Pretty good! Grilled steak was cooked nicely and the baja green sauce really complemented the dish. I definitely wish the veggies were a little more fresh, but you get what you're paying for. 7/10 Cucumber Ginger Mint Refresher ($5.94): Given that the picture online displays the drink in a cup, I was pretty surprised to see it come in a bottle which makes me think they don't make it fresh daily. Could have been a less gingery but still pretty good.

overall, pretty healthy & good variety of food, as well as nice seating they forgot to include avocado in my wrap, but then gave me another, so that was nice. if i hadn't caught it, it would be sort of a rip off so that has discouraged me from coming back. food is made fairly fast, but it's not really a grab and go place unless you order ahead of time. there are both booths & tables, with a green earthy interior that feels very modern/unique.

Cauliflower bites are so yummy I chose the buffalo dipping sauce great flavor and consistent. For dinner I tried the chile verde bowl so much flavor and healthy. Carne asada with avocado, black bean, cilantro, onion, corn, bell pepper, lime wedge & white rice, served with chile verde. Service was so friendly and welcoming. We did take out order and it was packed perfectly and still hot when we got home.

I ordered the grass fed beef burger, it was fantastic! The flavor was on point. The grilled onions with the other veggies that go on a burger was great. Service:: was very good. They were very kind and very welcoming. The ambiance here is spacious and casual comfortable. I would definitely come back here for another delicious meal.

GTG was a very nice surprise. Met up for lunch with one of my clients in HB. We had planned on meeting up at Mangia Mangia. Both of us have been there for lunch before, so we just assumed they still serve lunch. Well, they're now just open for dinner. So we had to pivot and of course I turned to Yelp to check what's nearby. And across the street was GTG. Their menu is a colorful mix of globally inspired dishes--think chimichurri bowls, Thai wraps, blackened fish tacos, and vegan char burgers. Everything is made from scratch, and they cater to a wide range of dietary needs, including gluten-free, vegan, paleo, and keto options. They have a decent breakfast/brunch menu and opens at 8 am. I love anything with chimichurri so getting the Argentinian Chimichurri bowl was a no brainer. This time around vs. My last time was a bit different. Last time was a great 5 star visit. Fhis time I would say 3.5 stars, although I'd still go back and just get something else. The fish tacos were bland. Expected more from the baja tots. The soup was the best thing on this visit.

I have recently been trying to consume less meat and dairy, so I have been looking for vegan restaurants. I was not really into the food here :( we had a vegan chicken sandwich and a regular burger with vegan cheese. I felt like the burger wasn't seasoned very much, they also brought it out wayyy later than the chicken sandwich because they kept accidentally making a vegan burger lol. The chicken sandwich was super spicy and I wasn't a fan of the flavor of the spice. I wish I liked it :( I might come back to try other things!

Food and service was good! The hummus (without the chimichurri) was my absolute favorite part! It was so good! I wish I got more! The pita was also nice and fluffy! I got the chile verde bowl and it was alright. Idky I was not a fan of the rice and there was a lot of it. But! The chicken was well seasoned and I loved the combo of veggies in it! The service was AMAZING! They were so nice, helpful and had great recommendations. The food was fast to come out and they were quick to clean! I also like the vibes, lots of plants, one even named Sara haha. If I was local I'd come back!

Found a new fav spot. Food was warm, healthy, & sooo good. Accidentally ordered a cold brew and let's say it was a v happy accident. Dangerous almost cuz i might come back too often for it now. Loved the spicy sauce options and staff was super sweet. Ordered a chili verde bowl with chicken and would def get it again. Flavors aren't anything crazy or overpowering with sauce. Just simple bowl of good ingredients. Love it.

I used to order lunch here daily. But there is no consistency in how items are made on a day to day basis, they've changed recipes and taken vegan items off the menu. Vegan proteins are the tofu they overcook to hockey pucks or their too thick chicken tenders. They took the impossible/ beyond beef off the menu. They took off the build your own option too and the chickpea salad sandwich, items that stood out for non meat eaters. Today I ordered an item usually loaded with veggies (Mediterranean wrap) but what arrived was a pita wrap of just tomatoes and olives, the items I asked to be taken off. They didn't include the usual sauce, just the one I paid extra for. So I'm done. I'll be ordering elsewhere from now on.

Ordered takeout so I can't speak to a dine-in experience here, but overall this seems like a good option if you're looking for healthier fast casual food. I got a miso ginger salmon bowl. It tasted fine but nothing really stood out about it, and the subtle miso ginger sauce was overpowered by the salt and pepper on the salmon. However, it had a good balance of protein and veggies, and at its decent price point I would be open to trying other dishes from the menu.

Always good when I come here. I mix it up between the ranch wrap or the Thai wrap. Both are great. This place has fresh healthy food that doesnt make you feel gross after. This one I got is the ranch wrap and I add steak. Its about $15. Its worth every dollar though. And the spicy chili sauce i added made it so much better also which was surprising

This place is the most amazing place ever I love the food. I love the people they played the best music in the whole wide world. The service is out of this world you will never get a service like that anywhere else no joke please you have to come here and if you don't come, you're missing out.

After starting a gluten free and dairy free diet, it was an excruciating challenge to be able to eat out with my family and friends. Upon Yelping, I found this place and remembered I had tried it a while ago (without the dietary restrictions) and it was good. So I decided to give it a shot again, this time with gf and df choices. Overall, it is a blessing because they have a very generous menu for vegan, df, and gf options, which is great. As for flavor, having tried their non-restrictive options vs. the restrictions, I will admit the original options are better/more flavorful, however, it's great to have a restaurant with more variety for those who want to eat out with others. Even my mom enjoyed the different bowls and sandwiches when we've gone there. Each time, we're greeted with friendly helpful staff, and the atmosphere is an overall "green" clean vibe.

Healthy options. Always tasty. Super reliable. Definitely a place to visit again and again.

This place is my go to for lunch! The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Max and Monet are also so nice and go out of their way to make sure the service is excellent!

Fast and friendly service. Food was delicious although I wish the salad came with a little bit more vegetables. It was all squished at the bottom so it wasn't really filling. The soup was hearty and the pumpkin seeds and cranberries were a great touch. It reminded me of a more upscale Souplantation but without the all you can eat. Healthy ingredients and nothing heavy. Plenty of seating and parking on a Saturday lunch time.

Had the teriyaki ginger bowl with crispy tofu, very yummy and amazing. Great service and clean shop :)

First time eating at GTG. The food was so fresh, healthy and delicious. We really enjoyed the fish tacos, sweet potato fries and chicken salad. We also got the Matcha latte and Pineapple Strawberry Refresher. So refreshing and flavorful. Monet was very helpful and hospitable. We appreciate her recommendation of the food and drinks. The restaurant was bright and clean. We definitely will be back soon!

Omg the owner of is location is sooo condescending! He had called over two other employees and said "hey let me yell at you for a minute" he then proceeded to sooo condescending talk down to the other employees in front of customers very passive aggressively about how they need to keep equipment clean, and how tomato will spend so much money, etc. etc. it was so bad. I can't believe he did that like watch your surroundings bro! I felt so bad....the owner, having a power trip like that made me feel uncomfortable. Not cool, people are watching and listening all around you. I came into this location because I had gotten a free entrée from the location in orange. What's up with these green tomato grills lol hopefully I just continued to have maybe a better experience than I've had!

I love this place! I especially appreciate the consistency in the food, service, and cleanliness of the shop. The customer service is really great, and I find that the workers are always attentive to customers while running a smooth operation--they are consistently on top of things. I do feel a little guilty as every time I order, I ask about the menu and what they like to eat, but their recommendations always hit the spot! Great place to study too. Wi-fi is fast, and the appetizers are filling at a good price. With their Fall menu just dropping, this is for sure my go-to spot! I recommend their new fried green tomato sandwich! :)

ive been coming to this location of green tomato grill for years. I've never ever had a bad experience. the food is fantastic and one of the only places I can eat more than one item on the menu (I have a gluten and dairy allergy). today, Jack was helping a couple in front of me who were having a hard time deciding what they wanted and were a bit impatient. jack was so kind, patient, gentle and did a wonderful job giving an answer to every question, providing recommendations, and remaining very professional. he kept the place in good spirits and everyone left happy, including me!!

First time at this place. Great place for vegetarians! I told the cashier I was vegetarian and he walked me through all the options! Great customer service! Super nice and helpful. I got the breakfast tacos with the soyrizo hash and they were AMAZING! Super fresh and the flavors of all the sauces went well and tasted so good. Definitely recommend, especially if you're vegetarian, and will be back. My only wee small complaint would be the music was a tad too loud for 9am, but it was good music, so there's that.

I've been coming here for years and they never disappoint! The crispy tofu is my favorite and is always part of my order. Everything I've tried here over the years has been quite good, and it's so easy to find out if any of my allergens are present in the food.

I came here because my sister is vegan and she suggested the place. I was a little skeptical because it was vegan, but I was surprised that they have meat options! I tried the chimchuri melt, which consisted of chicken, chimchuri sauce, grilled onions, cheese broccoli, and it was BOMB. I also got a gluten free bread on the outside, and it was delicious. My kids got a chicken quesadilla and a burger, which comes with a drink. My wife tried their Philly chicken melt and loved it. We liked this place so much we suggested it to family and went again the next day! This spot is right off goldenwest in a large parking lot that also includes Hobby Lobby. Parking is very easy, and there's also tons of seating. We also tried their vegan cookies, and those were SUPER GOOD. I'm not a huge vegan lover, but the cookies were nice and sweet. They had 3, chocolate chip, double chocolate chips, and oatmeal raisin. Surprisingly, I loved the seasonal oatmeal raisin the best. Their sweet potato fries were also very good. It was a bit expensive, though, around $5. Service was good. They gave suggestions and even gave me a second little sauce at no charge. Very family friendly, and the ambiance was very laid back and casual. Very good food. I think I'd like to try the bowls next time. Definitely recommend this place if you're in HB. Everyone would enjoy it.

Great place if you want to eat a little cleaner. Their bowls are great, you can add extra protein to their bowls and get a killer chimi bowl with a bunch of steak and shrimp for under $20. Great sandwiches as well, but burger is weak, but that's ok as I'm not eating at a spot like this for the burgers. It's cafeteria style so you order at the counter....and they don't have a tip option. Kind of refreshing with all this tip fatigue these days.

Miso bowl w grilled chicken - healthy yet hearty meal, brown rice is a bit hard and undercooked but chicken super tender and flavorful. love how it came hot. sauce paired w bowl and wasn't overly salty There is a bit of a wait time for dine in but food came out hot. Restaurant spacious with lots of seating, free water cups available. Easy parking. Staff friendly.

I hate to leave this review because my family has always enjoyed GTG; however, my recent experience was very disappointing. I think it's great that GTG has been able to expand, but now it feels like other fast food places where both service and quality have gone down. The employee was unfriendly and kept on walking away from the register while serving multiple customers. For the B1G1 bowl, she said each order had to be placed in separate transactions (which is fine), but I think the issue was she didn't know how to use the register. Worst of all and this was inexcusable, the rice was RAW, which I didn't find out until I was home. I'm not talking undercooked either - it was literally raw and inedible, where you could hear how hard it was by moving it around in the paper bowl. Even if it was B1G1, it wasn't worth it.

I absolutely love coming here after afternoon cardio. I am a vegan so let me give that disclaimer because it is hard to find vegan food that is fresh and made with real ingredients at a price that is not astronomically high. The staff is kind and the food is made fresh and fast with seasoning making everything very flavorful. I got the Argentinian Chimichurri bowl with no protein because I don't do meat or tofu and it is absolutely delicious for those who don't do spicy heat it is not spicy but flavorful with a light char on the veggies. My daughter got the kids bowl with rice, beans, chicken and broccoli which she also enjoyed with my sauce and was do full we took half of it home. I also did the cucumber, ginger refresher omg I'm definitely having it again. The environment is beautiful with greenery, gender neutral restrooms and open seating where the food will be delivered to you with a number.

As a X Elite Yelper, I find time to review restaurants when it effects, my taste buds or wallet. Green Tomato is D.D.D.Delicious!!!!! I typically get the Thai Bowl and I'm never ever disappointed. I get the same great quality bowl every singletime. I don't have pictures but look on their website. I think it actually taste better than it looks.

For a fast-food style location, this was a delicious lunch. We were greeted by the Manager, Cameron at the front register who was very helpful and fun to chat up. I asked about the various plants around the location, which seemed to all have names. It was a fun aspect, and the plants were all thriving, which tends to happen around good 'vibes.' On to the delicious aspect, I had the Chimichurri Chicken Melt, which consisted of grilled chicken, arugula, broccoli, grilled onion, sriracha bacon, cheddar jack & chimichurri on flatbread. Great flavor and totally filling. I washed my lunch down with a locally canned, Fermensch kombucha, Blueberry/Lavender/Chamomile flavor, also known as the purple can.
