Greenheart Vienna

I had a very disappointing experience at Greenheart Smoothie in Vienna. I ordered online 30 minutes ahead of time, expecting a smooth and efficient pickup. However, when I arrived, the staff seemed unaware of my order, which caused a delay right off the bat. After asking me to check my order details, they began making it from scratch, which took another 15 minutes. When I finally received my smoothie, I was surprised to find that it was supposed to be an acai bowl. Unfortunately, it wasn’t blended at all, and there were huge chunks of ingredients. It was nothing like the smooth, blended acai bowl I was expecting from the picture. The worst part was that there was barely any acai in the bowl itself. While the employees were friendly, the lack of preparation and quality control left me really frustrated. I didn’t realize my smoothie was poorly made until I got home, which is about 25 minutes away. By that point, it was too late to go back and address the issue. Overall, I left feeling disappointed, and I won't be returning anytime soon.

I went to dine at this healthy eatery with a friend a while ago. She was looking for a wholesome dining option to add to her diet, and we liked the place. They offer various nutritious and delicious food options, including an all-plant-based breakfast (except for the poached eggs for protein). We also tried some of their smoothies, and I particularly enjoyed the Berry Power Protein Smoothie made with vanilla almond milk. Consuming such a healthy drink felt great, and it has all the nutrients to boost my immune system and energy simultaneously. I'm looking forward to returning soon to try some of their other breakfast options.

What's up, my fellow viewers? To start my review, I want to say that the healthy food options at this business are pretty decent. The service I received from the store manager was spot on. However, the only thing they lack is a welcoming atmosphere. I was the only person at this location, and I'm not sure if it was due to the construction happening around the site, but it felt a bit empty on a Friday. Other than that, their smoothies are truly healthy and very nutritious.

DOWNHILL! Greenheart has gone downhill since new ownership. The drinks are smaller, more calories, and more expensive. As if $9.50 wasn’t enough for a cold brew, now they are $11. Food wise-NOT healthy. Greenheart claims to be healthy-their cold brew latte is 360 calories with a whopping 17 grams of fat and 34 grams of sugar!! This is another “fake” healthy option. Don’t be fooled! They removed the semi-healthy toast and changed it with sweet potato waffle which is full of sugar and calories. Service is decent for a bunch of kids-inside is clean. Just another sugar treat with a fake healthy claim.

I saw this place on my run along the W&OD Trail last week and finally had the chance to go in! It's so beautiful inside and the food is delicious! They have all different kinds of avocado toast as well as smoothies and açai bowls. My friend and I shared the Mushroom Avocado Toast, the Jalapeño Avocado Toast, and the AMAZING Sweet Potato Waffle. They also have an amazing range of cold-pressed juices - all delicious! Tip: do a juice tasting while you're there!

Green Heart always exceeds my expectations with their healthy delicious juice along with their menu of other foods. I came in 30 minutes before closing and asked if it was okay to still be able to dine in and the man working was polite and even made my waffle all pretty which I thought was sweet.

Loved it! The waffle and the inflammation shot were amazing. I also bought some other juices and they were great. 100% recommend trying Greenheart if you are looking for a cute & healthy brunch or an after workout snack.

We saw a post from this place on Instagram and decided to try this place since the photos looked really good. We ordered the sweet potato waffle and the avocado toast with pomegranate and was delicious. Also, the juices were so good and they give you a little bit to taste it

Not just juice, but amazing food too. The juice is fantastic, but from the chai pudding to the sweet potato waffle, an amazing experience. Don't miss it.

Fresh cold pressed juice shop with lots of seating! I usually purchase Greenheart juices at local farmers markets (Vienna, Falls Church, Mosaic District, Bethesda, etc), but the vendor hibernates during the winter and miss them! So glad I visited the shop! The juices are so healthy and fresh with no added sugar and a natural sweetness from fruits or dates. Since there are no preservatives, the juices keep well for about 5 days. They are about $12 a bottle and worth it! It's juice galore and the display cases are filled with over a dozen varieties of cold pressed juices and the activated cashew milk drinks at the end with appetizing salads in the middle. So tempted to get one! The winter Peppermint Chocolate Cashew and the summertime Watermelon Cooler juices are my favorites! The Peppermint Chocolate Cashew juice is a new seasonal flavor and tastes like chocolate milk with a subtle flavor of peppermint. A healthy sweet treat! The staff is really nice and added drops of peppermint to the classic Chocolate Cashew at no extra charge. You can get custom made-to-order fresh juices and smoothies as well. Will have to try to the Matcha Chocolate Chip, next time! Excited to come back!

Lovely experience for my first visit. This is an upscale juicer, so if you are not used to fresh juices and the prices; be forewarned. It is $12 for one bottle. I got the pineapple cucumber to try and it tastes good. It was meant for gut health. They have a variety of flavors and they sample one flavor daily. They have a great yard for outdoor seating. It is relaxing when the weather is nice. They also have special waffles too, but I did not try one. My friend raves about them though.

I came here with a friend who lives walking distance from this juice shop; we arrived around half past noon on a Sunday in early August 2022. The shop wasn't too busy at the time, but there were a few customers sitting at one of the tables inside (there were just a few tables). My friend and I noticed that there was a sign saying we could try the juices, so we asked to do that after browsing through the selections that interested us in the fridge. Together we tried the MJ, Liquid Gold and Naked Roots juices. My favorite of the 3 was the Liquid Gold as it was very fruity although you could clearly taste the ginger and turmeric. However, I liked all 3 we tried and we ultimately went for the MJ as my friend wanted to get something more veggie-based. The MJ definitely has a strong celery taste, so if you don't like that I would steer clear. We bought just the 1 bottle to split between us plus a 3rd person. The juices are pretty expensive but we were able to get 3 glasses out of the 1 bottle we got (when adding a lot of ice since it was such a hot day). The shop was clean and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

I'm from CA, but relocated to the DMV awhile back. I have been on the hunt for a good açaí place for yearsss!! I've finally found it, it's so so tasty.

Cute and tidy atmosphere, healthy hearty bowls ! Randomly discovered this place while walking around Vienna. We got the Asian quinoa bowl and lemon herb bowl. $12 each for very hearty portions. The Asian bowl was very very salty! I couldn't finish it. The lemons herb bowl was great with lots of textures from crunchy chickpeas, guac, and kale. Lots of people came in for smoothies on the go although idk if I can justify a $12 drink if it doesn't have alcohol haha Would not recommend this place to study. It gets loud when the workers use the blenders because everyone is in one giant room.

If you are in the mood for a delicious, healthy pick-me-up, you have come to the right place! However, be warned, you will likely leave craving more. ‣ QUALITY - At Greenheart, freshness + wholesomeness are taken to a new level. With tempting menu items like refreshing smoothies, smoothie bowls, avocado toasts, and other revitalizing foods, you can expect locally-sourced and high quality ingredients in every bite and sip. Moreover, my friends and I ordered a variety of juices to try and my top pick was the Cashew Chai (caffeine-free). While I love chai, I appreciated how the flavor was not overwhelming and the sweetness level was not too sweet nor bland. The activated cashew milk also has a cool, thick, and filling texture with the perfect balance of spices -- a game-changing drink that tastes especially pleasant in the colder seasons. Best bets: - Avocado Toast - Sweet Potato Waffle - Cashew Chai Drink - Blue Majik Drink ‣ AMBIENCE - Super hip and visually soothing. As a whole, the soft and chill music, naturally-lit interior, modern décor, and cool lighting made the atmosphere comfortably light + calming. ‣ SAFETY - The space was very neat and clean with tables spaced out and hand sanitizer available at the counter. The team was also masked and gloved. ‣ SERVICE - Everyone was very professional and attentive, in which they could tell it was my first time and offered drink samples to aid in the decision-making. Long review short, this experience was a treat and I still cannot get over the the distinctness of the fresh juices, the gorgeous interior + exterior design, hip ambience, impeccable branding + packaging design, and the courteous team. One could easily see all the time and love put into making Greenheart Juice Shop what it is today and I am eager to come back to try more drinks!

Been looking for a good açaí bowl and I think I've found the place! Saw someone in a foodie Facebook group asked about good açaí bowls in NOVA and several people suggested greenheart. Decided to give it a try and ordered the mother of dragon bowl. There's strawberries, pitaya, coconut and so many more fresh and healthy ingredients. Ordering was very easy and the employees were so friendly. My bowl was delicious! So fresh and healthy. Loved the granola on top too. Would love to come back and try some of their yummy smoothies next!

They got rid of the different varities of avocado toast :( the cacao pomegranate was my favorite, along with the tex mex one with plant protein. They only have the standard kind now.

I love the Aldie location, and if possible I love the vienna location even more!! I highly suggest the matcha mint chip smoothie :) you are able to turn any smoothie into a bowl too. Be prepared to at least spend $20. Their juices are bomb, I wasn't impressed with the cold brew I know that's a fan fav but the sunshine juice with orange and turmeric was to die for!! The rooster is great and green too :) my friend got the fajita toast and let me tell you- that is a BIG MEAL!! great spot, great people, great clean environment with lots of green leafy plants and cute decor.

it had been an incredibly long time since I stopped by the Bethesda Farmers market and I saw that Greenheart had a stall set up. I absolutely needed to grab a bottle or two from them to give it a try. I picked up the Cold Brew Latte--It's perfect to start your mornings off with and has a creamy consistency. I also picked up one of their seasonal juices too, the summer crush. This is phenomenal if you love watermelon! It's super refreshing and it helps with heart health and muscle recovery!

Stopped by on opening weekend for a Mama morning out with my bestie and it was such a wonderful way to cure our Sunday rainy morning blues. The shop is absolutely breathtaking -- all white with pops of sage green everywhere. The hip, clean aesthetic had me thinking that Gwyneth Paltrow (or at least one of her assistants) could stop by any minute to stock up on for her next juice cleanse. I'm not too much of a juice person but I really loved their sweet potato waffle which had the consistency of chewy mochi with a crisp exterior, fresh berries, and beautiful edible flowers on top. I also brought home a strawberry, almond butter smoothie which my whole family enjoyed as well. It was thick, fully flavored, and smooth. There was no unnecessary filler and sugar which I enjoyed. My friend's avocado toast looked to die for! All-in-all it was a pretty pricey breakfast but it was just what we needed to cure ourselves of the pandemic blues. Will definitely be back to try their salads and soups. Welcome to Vienna, we are so glad to have you here!

I used to love this place, but it's definitely gone down hill. I ordered from their website- the order only came with half the items. I called the store and they said they'd get them sent out ASAP. After about 3 hours of waiting they told us they couldn't get them sent out. What's worse is that they only partially refunded it. Meaning that 1 smoothie and 1 waffle ended up costing us 45$. I've called the store to try to get a manager on the phone. No luck. I've emailed them. No luck.

I absolutely love this place ! Love coming here to read and just relax, they have the best juices and nut milks, my favorite juice is the liquid gold, and my all time favorite nut milk from here is the cashew chai. It's amazing! They also have coloring books for kids- so my daughter loves that. Highly recommend this place!

Perfect spot for a quick snack after thrift shopping. We got a strawberry banana smoothie and an açaí bowl and we instantly felt good! You can taste the quality of the products they use you. They also sell their granola, they have juices, and salads.

This was my first time coming to Greenheart Juice as a recommendation from my sister. The moment you walk in, you feel like you've been transported to another place! It's light, bright, and airy with a cute color scheme and decor. The tables are socially distanced with hand sanitizer made available. There were some people doing work and some people catching up with their friends. There's also outdoor seating in the front of the store. I ordered the Super Green smoothie bowl and it was soooo refreshing! It is banana and mango flavor forward without the taste of the other super healthy ingredients mixed in AKA the kale . The granola and coconut topping added a nice crunch as well. My sister ordered the zesty tomato lime avocado toast and added the poached egg. It comes with a nicely dressed side salad. She throughly enjoyed her meal and said that it was seasoned with the right amount of acid and salt. It's a simple dish, but they do it right! They do offer samples of their drinks in the refrigerated section. So don't hesitate to ask any one of their friendly associates! I would say the only draw back is that it gets quite loud inside when they are blending various items. I have to stop mid conversation when the blenders are on. Not sure if you could get any work done here, but I guess there's noise cancelling headphones for a reason! But other than that, it is a great place to enjoy a healthy yet delicious treat!

Delicious, fresh juices! Healthy and tasty. Pretty expensive though- $13 for a bottle of juice. I liked the chai mylk and forever young juice

Dropped by after a morning run on the O&D trail - conveniently happened to be their grand opening so all products were buy one, get one 50% off! Got myself their green machine smoothie bowl + the cold brew latte since I had heard so many good things about the latter. The cold brew is delicious! Perfectly sweet and filling - it got me through a busy Saturday as a breakfast and lunch, I wasn't really hungry until mid-afternoon. Super nutritious and cleaner alternative to a plain coffee that I would've had in the morning otherwise. Going to try the cashew chai and matcha milk on my next visit - highly recommend a visit to this spot!

So glad this location opened! I have been a HUGE fan of Greenheart juice after discovering them a year ago at their Middleburg. Since then, I've been ordering delivery from GH pretty regularly which is really convenient given that I live in DC and don't have a car. We rented a car for the weekend and decided to make the drive out to Vienna. This store is really spacious and very welcoming. There isn't a whole lot of outdoor seating but there is a grassy area across the street which is perfect for eating acai bowls and drinking smoothies. The service is remarkable and the staff are down-to-earth. I felt this way visiting the Middleburg location as well. We ordered the acai bowl and the green bowl and brought four juices home in our GH reusable bag (the silver ones that are leak proof and keeps the cold). The acai bowls are delicious -- perfect consistency and the bee pollen is a nice touch. We accidentally dropped and broke a bottle today and they were really helpful and cool about it. That alone would keep me coming back. Highly recommend. I will definitely keep supporting GH locations everywhere and their delivery service, too!

Came here post run for a refreshing smoothie and glad I stopped by because they were doing some sort of juice tasting event. The juices provided were tasty and refreshing, and most importantly, healthy. I decided to also make a purchase too since they were giving away free juices and got the matcha chip smoothie. This was really good! You could taste the matcha flavor but it wasn't overly bitter and was balanced out by the bananas. I also liked that cacao nibs were used so you still tasted the "chips" but it wasn't overly sweet. Perfect place to have a smoothie post workout or with friends! They also have outdoor seating so when it gets warmer I can imagine this place will be popular.

Worst customer service. She gives me attitude when i just entering the store. Maybe i enter too early before you open, 3 minutes early? Anyway, as a customer, I've walked out of several stores because of sub-par customer service. I'm old fashioned that way. If I'm doing you a favor by shopping at your store, and you can't be nice to me, I just take my business elsewhere. No big deal.

Great juice, horrible customer service. I had a juice subscription with juices delivered to my home every week. Although the juices and milks are more expensive than the places in my neighborhood, I really enjoyed Greenheart's. Their MJ, Cashew Chai and Cold Brew Coffee were my favorite. Unfortunately their customer service just ruins any positive experience I've ever had. One time I received a roach along with my delivery. There was a live roach in my bag with my juice. Disgusting. The worst part is when I reached out to them to hell them about mu horrifying experience, they couldn't care less. They simply just said "Oh, sorry" and that's it. No offer to make it right or anything. Roaches carry germs and I obviously didn't want to consume anything that was touched by a roach. Against my better judgment, I gave them another chance. The final straw was that they never delivered my order one week and were pretty rude and unhelpful about it. They said they were unable to reach my building because a street was closed due to a baseball game. There is a baseball game at the same time every week and every week the still seem to figure out how to get to my building but for some reason they couldn't do it this day. It didn't make sense. The person I spoke to on the phone was rude and argumentative. She also said that she could give me a refund or see if they could find another way to deliver me my juice and that someone would be calling me the next day. No one called. I also never got a refund. I finally emailed them to follow up and they just gave me a refund. No apology. No one following up to see what happened with my delivery and what they could do to make it right. They couldn't have cared less. After paying $70 each week for juice and being treated like my patronage didn't matter, I finally just cancelled my subscription. I do not recommend this place to anyone since they seem to have a pest problem. Their customer service is terrible and they don't value their customers.

Nice clean space inside and out. Came here this past weekend for their one year anniversary. The waffle was really good! The strawberry smoothie was also good- I will definitely order that again. It was actually very filling. The food were well price and with good portion. Didn't take a picture of the avocado toast- but it was huge! The juices are actually my favorite personally.. quite tasty and refreshing.

I finally had a chance to visit this location and I was very pleased. Lolly gave such a warm welcome as soon as we came in the shop. She educated us on all of items offered and allowed us to try the snacks and juices. The one day cleanse left my body feeling amazing! I'll definitely be back for more!

I cannot get enough of their juices! Smoothies are tasty and filling too. Cashew milk is a great alternative to the juices when I want something different. I have tried all their salads and like them a lot but they do lack some protein. Chia seed pudding is awesome and taste like a dessert. They also have a reward program that you can earn free drink. Definitely check this place out if you want to grab something healthy and refreshing!

I got the avocado toast that had the jalapeno jam and it was good but the portions are very small. I would stick to their juices here instead of the food.

I am addicted to Greenheart juices, full stop. It's winter and they've stopped (temporarily for the season, I hope!) selling at the Falls Church Farm Market so I have trekked to Vienna every weekend to stock up. My favorite is Forever Young, which I can pour over ice after dinner in lieu of dessert. My skin, my stomach, my energy...everything feels better. MJ, Bare Roots, and the Rooster are also top of my list. I like the Spirulina one too (bright blue, think it's called Inflammation Tamer), but go easy...it's pricey and pretty potent, designed to be more like a shot than a drink. Recently tried Ed their new waffles and DELICIOUS. Love. This. Place.

We tried the waffle and avocado toasts as well as the smoothie. The food was definitely very healthy, tasty and with high quality. Especially recommend the avocado toasts. The price is very high for good reasons as they use high quality ingredients. However, I'm not sure I'll go back again.

I visited the store today. The Decor was very simple and clean- well designed and airy. Employees were very nice and knowledgeable. They even had an exercise class outside with many people attending. I got a juice, a snack ( lemon coconut balls) and mushroom soup. All very very good. The prices were higher than expected. $12 for a smoothie? Seems a bit over the top. But maybe that's just inflation kicking in and this will be our new normal. I will come back occasionally but can not be a regular customer due to high prices.

Welp. I have officially just found my new WFH spot for a couple hours each day. I was having a girl date and we walked in at 6:57PM last night (they close at 7pm....we were THOSE girls) and the staff could not have been more welcoming! The interior is SO chic and they have tables out front with a big water bowl for dogs. I will definitely be bringing my laptop and puppy to sit out front for a change of scenery to my WFH routine. We were torn on which juices/milks to buy and they let us sample SO MANY (despite them trying to clean and close up). They didn't make us feel like a bother at all - we kept saying we didn't need samples but they insisted that it was no trouble at all. You can't beat the customer service here, you can tell they all thoroughly believe in their products, enjoy working together, and provide the best customer service. We settled on the Strawberry Milk, Chocolate Milk, & Chai Milk and are already planning our next trip back to work our way down the smoothie and toast menu. Such a great addition to the area!

Fresh organic juice to your door at a fraction of the price at juice shops. It's a no-brainer!

This is by far the most outstanding juice store on the East Coast. The staff here are so friendly. The waffle is incredible and the staff could not be more helpful.

Super good stuff at Greenheart - totally worth the visit. Our son normally doesn't go for vegan based treats but he loved the ones from here. The granola is especially good.

My friend and I stopped here the other day after finishing a run. This is a GREAT spot! Right off the W&OD trail. We split a Super Green Smoothie Bowl, and a Signature Waffle. I have some food challenges so I was really excited to see gluten and dairy free! Both were so delicious. All of the flavors came together beautifully. I think the freshly ground nutmeg combined with the lemon curd really made the waffle a uniquely delicious experience. We will definitely be back!

I gave this 3.5 stars because this place was really cute and the people who work there are very friendly. I could not give it a five because was not a fan of what I got. I ordered the açaí bowl and honestly it was one of the worst açaí bowls I've ever gotten. For the a cheaper price you can get a wayyy better açaí bowl from Robeks. The bowl was $12 and had strawberries, bee pollen, hemp seeds, coconut, and their signature granola. I didn't know what to expect cause I have never tried their granola before or bee pollen mixed with hemp seeds, but I was not a fan. I thought the combination of topics were not the best and I had chucks of what I think was almond butter in my bowl. If you do happen to order the açaí bowl i recommend that you don't at the bee pollen and see if they have some other type of crunch they could add rather than their greenheart granola.

So excited to have a Greenheart in Vienna. I've been going to the one in Leesburg and this location here in Vienna offers fresh food! The avocado toast selection is amazing!

As healthy as it gets ! Greenheart juices and smoothies are delicious and packed with the nutrients I need to stay happy and healthy. Favorites are the vanilla cashew milk ( great as a creamer ! And the liquid gold.

Smoothies are amazing, the fresh juices are on point, great atmosphere, and super friendly staff. Great stop if you're on the W&OD Not dog friendly inside, but plenty of seating outside.

Been getting Greenheart Juice products at the farmers market for awhile now and was so excited to come visit their new shop. It was food heaven - delicious avocado toast, sweet potato waffle, and Pitaya smoothie. Can't wait to go back and try everything!!

I WOULD COME HERE MORE!!! Excellent FRESH sustenance!! Wonderful service from most of The employees! Were it not for Victoria B.'s scary review below I would definitely been a regular. Then again she is in Washington DC, they deliver to Washington DC or just that location has apathetic employee? In either case no one responded which proves her review and showing that no one cares about their regulars so I think I will just stick with being a fair weather patron ;) since why would I become a regular and risk getting treated like that (Yikes!). So as a 0-5x a year or so patron I give them a 5 outta 5! Minus 2 stars since it stops here and they don't make to-order juices.

I just went the Vienna location. It's very cute! The menu is great... lots of options for not only smoothies and bowls, but great soups and salads as well. I bought a bowl, a few cold pressed juices and soups to go! Great place to gear up for bathing suit season. Lol.

Absolutely love having this shop in our town! The staff is very helpful and I felt healthier just reading the menu!! Food/drinks also taste amazing. If you have not visited and it looks interesting to you go!!!

This place is really cute and I can see myself stopping by a lot after going for runs on the w&od. I got the pitaya paradise smoothie and sweet potato waffle. The smoothie is the reason I'm giving less than 5 stars--honestly, it was pretty gross. The cashew butter overpowered everything so I couldn't really taste any fruit and it was just unpleasant. I've had their juices before from the farmers market and I love them, so I'll just stick to those in the future. The sweet potato waffle was amazing though! I'll definitely be back to get that again.

Really yummy food and drinks! Highly recommend. Went for the first time today and had a blue majik drink.. sooooooo good! Definitely will be back soon! Nice staff too.

Love the selection of fresh, cold-pressed juices here! I am especially in love with their limited-edition juice, "Summer Crush" (I hope it comes back this season)! It's a super clean, super friendly juice shop to visit and offers so many delicious, nutritious items to choose from.

The juices are a delicious treat. I especially like the MJ and the beet one. The roasted tomato soup is delicious but $10 for 16 oz seems high. The avocado "toast" was served on untoasted bread, which got mushy. The avocado was more of a flavorless wet guacamole so I don't recommend that particular menu item. I love that juices are in glass which can be reused. Unfortunately the "to go" salads are in plastic. Another downside is they use plastic bags so bring your own. Overall I would buy more frequently if they lowered the prices a bit even by a dollar or two an item. I'm looking forward to trying more of the menu items, overall a good vegan addition to Vienna.

Easily and consistently 5 stars. I've been enjoying Greenheart juices for a few years now (farmers markets!) and have never been disappointed with the quality and taste of their juices and nut milks. Today was the first time I tried their food. I had the jalepeno jam avocado toast and it was delicious. While I'd normally roll my eyes at a $12 avocado toast, this one was so worth it. The thick slice of bread was nutty and complex and supported a very generous amount of mashed avocado. The jalepeno jam had a good balance of sweet and spicy and the pumpkin seeds on top were a nice crunch. There was a light spring mix salad on the side. Food aside, the service is always amazing. The people who work here radiate positive energy and are eager to help. So excited to have this Greenheart Vienna location. Keep up the excellent quality food and service!! Thank you!!

The staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful... Unfortunately, I can't say the same about the owner. The customer service from him was horrible and quite frankly from where I'm standing it doesn't seem like he knows much about the employees he has working for him... smh it's a shame that bad customer service like I received today from the OWNER makes me never want to come back here again.

Was so looking forward to trying this place. Walked in, grabbed a bottle of Liquid Gold, and headed to the register. Stood there for a while unnoticed before anyone came to help. I was unable to ask any questions because the blender was so loud and the employee could not hear me. Way overpriced. Most disappointing was the juice was absolutely nasty. I do not think I will try any others.
