Yelp
Wow I love this place. So much so that it's our second time going this month! The rolls are absolutely delicious, and huge! My favorites are the salmon delight roll and the dynamite roll. Same was on point, they have a fun selection and have a flight where you can try 3 different sakes. Both times we've been the waitresses have been super nice and attentive. The chef was also super friendly and came out to check and see how our experience was. We even got to try a special creation. Loved the ambience as well. Very clean, casual, and classy. Very open, and an easy walk from Greenlake. Would definitely recommend, I was very impressed!

Yelp
My family are visiting my brother from New Mexico, and trying to eat all the fish we can while we are in Seattle. Previously we had been turned away from another restaurant, and this one was in the area. First off, our server was so incredibly nice. It appeared that she was the only server, and she helped all the tables quickly and with a huge smile. We ordered one of the large platters. We wanted a good taste of everything. The miso soup was INCREDIBLE. So much flavor. My 3 yo son couldn't get enough. The platter was really beautiful too. Everything was delicious. We really enjoyed the large selection of sake too. The restaurant was very cool, with a wooden accent wall, and black walls. They also had toys for the kids, which was a nice touch. The spicy tuna rolls were amazing. They even had jalapeños on top, which I love spicy. We will be back, thank you!

Yelp
Portions were massive and delicious which is a double win. Service was kind and explained the menu to us. If I was back In the area I'd def stop by this place. Some of the better sushi I've had in the PNW.

Yelp
Such a cute sushi spot right next to Green Lake! A group of friends and I searched up the nearest sushi and this place had plenty of open seats. The ambiance had a relaxing atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. The rolls were a big size leaving us having to take big bites though. The quality of the fish were okay as well as the drinks.

Yelp
Service was quick. Got the bulgogi with pickled pepper in a tofu pocket with rice. It was good however it is $7 for one. Dynamite roll was huge for $20 and had a good amount of fried shrimp. I got the seaweed salad and it tasted like the store bought ones but came on a good sized plate, probably 2 cups worth. We ordered the pistachio and avocado donut sushi which is rice shaped as a donut with the toppings on top and 3 squares of seaweed to make your own hand roll. The vegan sushi donut is the same price as the eel sushi donut. I thought the tea that came in a French press was unique since I usually have to wave someone down for refills or get a teapot. Got the barley tea which was a huge teabag.

Yelp
There's several vegan options, which was really cool! I tried the vegan dragon roll and also the Greenlake sushi donut. I also tried some of the inari. The workers were very sweet and refilled my water a couple times, which was appreciated. I think there was a miscommunication about one of my inari though as I asked for tamago and ended up with spicy tuna. The staff was in back when I realized something was off so I just kinda didn't eat it. The inari were just ok, so I might not get those again next time. Other than that everything was good and it was a nice place to grab lunch! The inside is very pretty as well and I think they have outdoor tables when the weather is nicer.

Yelp
Yummy! I tried their two, restaurant stand out items, which was a donut and a mega roll. The donut was a pass for me. It's a constructed, but DIY of how you want to eat it, type of dish. They give you a few pieces of nori and you have it at. Deconstruct and make little hand rolls, whatever. It was just a tad flavorless. The mega roll however!!! Amazing. Full of flavors, a ton of fresh fish, and I only ate about half of it before tapping out.

Yelp
Fresh fish, creative presentation and fair price! What's not to love?? Found this place on Yelp. I'm so grateful for this app!

Yelp
Solid Sushi spot! I got takeout - prepared on time and easy pickup - and took it to green lake to eat. The sushi donut was interesting and worth trying! They served my miso soup into a takeout container when I arrived so it was hot and fresh, I appreciated that.

Yelp
My friend and I came over for lunch on a Wednesday. There wasn't any other customers other than us. We were seated by the kind waiter. I ordered chirashi bowl but substituted rice with spring mix salad. It was really fresh and satisfying. The side dishes were a nice addition. My friend ordered some rolls and enjoyed them as well. They're somewhat hidden on the sidewalk, I wouldn't have noticed it if I'm just walking by. It's a gem, and I would return.

Yelp
For the food, I have some complicated feelings. I would say the quality of the fish was good and that it had a great color. The downside was the rice. I'm not sure if we came on a bad day, but the rice was dry and made the food less enjoyable to eat. The miso and seaweed salad were alright but not something I would get again. I would recommend maybe some sashimi over some rolls if you get a chance to stop in. The donut is a fun novelty item that you should definitely try once! The servers were amazing. They were both kind and attentive and always refilled my water right away (which might sound silly, but there are a lot of places where you never get another refill of water again). I feel like they were the stars of this place and really made the whole experience wonderful. I love the decoration of this place. Is very industrious and sleek that makes it elevated but not too elevated you can't stop in after a walk around the lake. Overall, I think it's a nice place to stop in and would say if you're in the area and craving some sushi, it's not a bad option.

Yelp
The best thing about this restaurant is that it's super clean. The sushi was fresh. I liked the salmon sushi. All other rolls were okay

Yelp
I came here with my best friend for Mother's Day lunch. She is a new mother and I wanted to celebrate this special day with her. We ordered several items to try and they all turned out very well. We had salmon delight special roll, spicy tuna roll, caterpillar special roll, yellowtail nigiri, and seared salmon inari. We highly recommend the salmon delight special roll and spicy tuna roll. They were fresh, tasty and fairly large in size. It was a good amount of food with reasonable price. We only ate maybe half of the foodat best. We packed the rest to go. The place is new and the space is very nicely designed with many 2-people tables and large tables for families and groups. The service was ok, probably due to only 1 waiter during lunch hour. We will come to this place again for sure.

Yelp
Sweet new sushi spot, walking distance of greenlake! Cute casual & clean vibe. An entire vegan section on their menu. Vegan rolls we had were maybe 3.5/5 stars, and the non-vegan was 5/5 for sure. All normal sized rolls are pretty standard, the big ones are where they get creative. The mega roll MEANS mega, so while it seems pricey I would equal it to 2 rolls. No good NA options, but lots of fun looking sake!
google avatar

Ada M.

Yelp
It was pretty easy to find street parking and the restaurant is airy with plenty of tables. Except the table is relatively small and the plates are big. The Nigiri combos definitely is enough for two people as the portion is big. The fishes are the usual ones (salmon, tuna, yellowtail, eel and scallops) I wish they add a bit more variety but the presentation is so pretty with the flowers. Was not too impressed with the sushi donut which is a bit hard and messy to eat and it's not cheap. The sushi rice was dry but the raw fishes were fresh. Overall the staff can be a little more helpful by providing tips on how to eat the sushi donut and explain the special of the day.
google avatar

Celina S.

Yelp
We got the whole dragon roll, salmon delight roll, and crab deluxe sushi donut. Mega rolls aside, the "normal" rolls are also super big! Cute space and fresh fish, overall left happy! I would skip the donut next time as it's basically just DIY hand rolls. I wish the sauciness of the rolls was a little less salty and that there was a little more variety besides a whole suite of California roll based special rolls.

Yelp
This place is so underrated!! It was pretty quiet on a weekday night when we walked in. The sushi rolls were delicious and this place is definitely in my top 3 sushi places now. I got the Space Needle combo and it was super filling and enough for 2 people! I recommend the salmon delight roll- the seared salmon was perfectly made. Also the king kong roll is good for eel lovers. I will be coming back! Service was great too.

Yelp
I wanted to give 5 stars so badly. Since the actual fish was so good. Few blips cost the lost star though. Pros - Super creative menu - cool items like sushi donuts and pearls you don't see elsewhere! Beautifully assembled sushi creations (complete with flowers!) The Pink Lady sushi donut ($12.95) was out of this world. Every component was to die for (crab salad, fresh salmon, etc.) Cons - BF ordered the Bulgogi roll ($18.95) because he cannot eat raw fish - it was messy, dry and flavorless, but I don't even know if I can use it to judge a sushi spot. The waitress said it was "a specialty" which is also sort of weird. The interior didn't really match sushi spot vibes so it was kind of off vibes - it used to be this place called Tapas Lab which was sort of an American bar-esque spot and it's pretty clear nothing was re-done. In the beginning of our time there they turned the music up really loud which made it hard to conversate. We had to wait a long time for our sushi given the amount of takeout orders needed to be prepared. Granted, we were given apologies and free miso soup :) So all in all, the sushi is amazing and I definitely want to come back.

Yelp
Went looking for a sushi place that was open at 2pm and happened upon this place. What a great find. Friendly and great food. The rolls are huge but they are fantastic! Everything we had was top notch. I would definitely come back here when I am in town.

Yelp
Delivery fees at Seattle has been at an all time high. This means my typical favorite sushi delivery spots are no longer at an accessible price point for me. I was excited to check out a somewhat promising sushi spot near me, but I really didn't enjoy it. Pros: - good service - nice ambiance - nice presentation of food Cons: - overcooked Chawanmushi - adding flaky salt on my otherwise delicious hotate sushi - overly salty ikura that was extremely difficult to consume. Good quality roe should have a clean, briny flavor that is not overly salty.

Allen U.

Yelp
Fantastic value! Great food, gorgeous presentation, fresh fish, reasonable prices. I wish more sushi restaurants were like this one. There should be a line out the door....seems like it's an undiscovered gem. Well done! Only negative is that some of the decor could use updating. Distractingly bright lights on an out-of-place bookshelf, and not particularly "warm" ambience. But the food and prices more than make up for it.

Yelp
Came here for the second time and noticed that the service was much slower... they did not seat us for 15 minutes despite there not being many people inside. It seemed like they were understaffed. The miso soup also came out cold, and all of the rolls were wrapped quite loosely and falling apart. The timing of when orders came out was off too, there was a long time between each roll, which resulted in me getting pretty full by the time the last dish came out. I was disappointed from the last time I came here, but it may have been an off day. I tried the whole dragon roll which was HUGE and had an entire eel. That was pretty cool, but I think their sizes could be improved so that you can eat a roll in a single bite.

Yelp
Stopped in on a weekday night and was seated immediately. Ambiance is relaxed, and our server was very friendly and attentive! We ordered the Greenlake Special Combo for 2 (~$60) which came with 4 mini bowls (poke, bulgogi, unagi, chirashi), the California Deluxe Sushi Donut (with real crab!), miso soup, small futomaki, seaweed/cucumber salad, pickled daikon and carrots. This was a great way to try a bunch of items and there was plenty of food so we definitely got our money's worth! Note that the poke bowl comes marinated with truffle oil, which we really enjoyed but could be polarizing. The bulgogi bowl was tasty but could be served warmer. The unagi was a little bit overcooked and there wasn't a lot of meat to it, but the sauce was a nice mix of sweet and savory. The chirashi bowl was probably our least favorite since it's not as flavorful as the poke bowl and the fish seemed less fresh. The sushi donut is a little gimmicky but it came with lots of fish/crab/avocado so definitely worth ordering.

Yelp
This sushi restaurant is SO good! The quality and flavors were amazing. Presentation lovely. Good portion sizes. Really a gem!
google avatar

Theresa A.

Yelp
Beautifully plated sushi! The presentation was perfectly executed. I can't comment on their rolls, but I ordered the pearls and the donuts and they were so good. The fish was very fresh. The flowers were a nice touch. My server was super helpful and timely. The prices can be hefty but you get what you pay for. The decor definitely didn't match the sushi vibe but it was clean and tidy, so no complaints there. I'll have to come back and try the rolls soon.
google avatar

Kalie M.

Yelp
Really great rolls at a really great price! You get huge filling rolls for what the price would be for regular specialty rolls at other sushi spots. The vegan rolls are delicious as well. Would definitely recommend.

Mariah D.

Yelp
Service was good and attentive. Rolls were made fresh and were a decent size. Definitely would recommend this place if you want a cozy vibe and good food.
google avatar

Chelsia L.

Yelp
I think this is going to be my new go-to sushi spot! The sashimi was super fresh and loaded in all the rolls we got, even the mini ones! The mega rolls were way larger than we expected and actually tasted pretty good! It wasn't overly saucy like a lot of other places do them.
google avatar

Alyssa M.

Yelp
Came for dinner here on a Thursday and was easily able to get a seat for two! It just opened so I wanted to check out this new sushi spot. The menu was very long with endless options of rolls. I decided to get a classic spicy salmon roll and caterpillar roll. Unfortunately, the rolls just didn't hit for me. The spicy salmon had spicy mayo on top that tasted way too artificial. Maybe there was just too much mayo. Although the caterpillar roll was very cute in the shape of a caterpillar with eyes on pieces of lettuce, the flavor just wasn't there. I think it was just too many flavors together that weren't complimenting one another. Everything tasted way too thrown together. Unfortunately, I don't think I'd come back again but I'm happy I tried it!

Yelp
Probably our new favorite sushi spot in Seattle. Portions are a little big, but wow the fish was so fresh it melts in your mouth. The service was great as well. This was an awesome experience and we definitely will be back. My wife and I left pretty wowed. We will bring friends next time. Go support this place! It deserves it. Order: Pink Lady and Godzilla donuts. Great concept making your own hand rolls. We found this to be very unique. Salmon delight roll - huge roll for only $14.99. For this price you really can't beat this anywhere else. Rainbow Roll - crazy fresh fish and no cheap shrimp on top. All of it was quality fish and unagi.
google avatar

Monique L.

Yelp
Amazing and abundance amount of sushi! The chef was attentive and came over to check on us periodically to make sure we enjoy the food. We really like the sushi here
google avatar

Ana L.

Yelp
One of the best quality and most beautifully plated chirashi bowls I've had in Seattle. The cuts of fish were so fresh and portion size was great - definitely a great value for what you pay. Compliments to the chef. Also, service was fantastic. My sever Daniel was very friendly and attentive. The interior of the restaurant was also very cute - definitely a good date spot. Will be back!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this new sushi place. It was great! Newer spot that took over Tapas lab restaurant. We ordered the miso soup, caterpillar roll, salmon delight and whole dragon roll for 3 people. Good portions, we were all super full after. Awesome recommendations from our server on the caterpillar roll It was my favorite of the 3 but they were all very tasty. Glad to finally get a great sushi spot nearby!

Yelp
Great sushi in a nice atmosphere. Good service and big portions. Came here with my two daughters who were craving sushi and it did not disappoint.
google avatar

Ally S.

Yelp
Overall a good experience. There are a huge amount of vegetarian options, which was great. Food was pretty tasty overall and felt healthy. We got one roll and a seaweed salad. Service was a bit slow but overall kind and attentive.
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic new place! HUGE portions and the quality and ratio of fish is fantastic! They also have more highly sought-after toro nigiri which is always a plus Try the Woodlawn combo!

Yelp
Stopped by to pick up a chirashi bowl after the gym, and I'm so glad I did! Beautiful presentation, great quality, generous fish to rice ratio, and friendly service! Don't sleep on this spot. :)

Yelp
First time here. Food and service is 5 star! Dad and son owners give the place a welcoming spirit as if we were going to their home! Highly recommend We're going back!
google avatar

Kelly L.

Yelp
We got a hama cali roll, the salmon cali roll, and the Tuna Tuna mega roll. The cali rolls are straightforward rolls that have crab mix, avocado, and the raw fish inside with nothing on top. The Tuna Tuna roll was larger with good tuna pieces on top and finely diced pieces inside with the artificial crab mix, avocado, and cucumber, had a delightful chili sauce drizzled over it, and the microgreens mixed in with the larger salad leaves were fresh. If I came again I wouldn't order the cali rolls and just go for another mega roll. Service was fast and straightforward. We came around 2 PM on a Sunday so it was empty. Feels comfortable and casual. I like the way they prepare their wasabi--it's got a creamier consistency to it. A small con was that the cali rolls fell apart easily when they stuck to each other on the plate.

Yelp
Holy Giant Delicious Portions, Batman! Everything here is tasty, from the baked salmon collar to the miso soup to the special rolls and Mega-rolls. I'm used to "traditional" sushi places, so I ordered two special rolls and a couple of orders of sashimi. So. Much. GREAT. Food! Their "mini" rolls are the size of standard rolls anywhere else. Sashimi arrived in thick, delicious slabs, including their special, fresh wild jack mackerel. The fish quality was very good, and the presentation was lovely. Owner-Chef Ki was very kind, and clearly loves making food that his customers will love. He even brought some fresh apple slices to our little one for dessert (no charge, aw shucks!). Service was prompt and friendly; the servers clearly enjoy working for Chef Ki. He also introduced us to some delightfully sweet sakes we had never tried before. It's in the ground floor of a new building in Greenlake, and tucked a little bit back from the street, on the south side of Road Runner Sports. But it's worth finding parking for, and in the Green Lake neighborhood, I don't say that lightly. Extremely highly recommended!
google avatar

Liz D.

Yelp
Delicious sushi, plenty of options! We ended up doing the space needle combo and the nigiri combo, both were mostly chefs choice so we ended up with all same stuff- salmon, tuna, yellowtail tuna, and eel, which is good but would have been nice to have a little more variety in the mix.... Loved the fresh greens and edible flowers! The sushi pearls are really cute but too much rice for my liking and photos I've seen show more of a selection than we received. Really enjoyed the sushi donuts, not only were they tasty but it was fun. Pickled veggies were good as well- would have loved a whole bowl of that purple picked slaw!!! There's only one item on the menu for non sushi lovers (sorry husband)- a beef bowl that really didn't seem to have much beef in it (especially for $20!) he was a little disappointed in that. Next time I'd do something a little more Al a carte and less chef choice so we could sample more items.

Yelp
Came in for early dinner around 430 on a Friday. Quick service and seating, easy QR code for the menu. My servers were kind and attentive. I ordered a white wine flight ($15) , one nigiri and 2 "pearls", two rolls and seaweed salad for $66 before tip which felt appropriate for the portions and presentation. All the food was fresh, quickly served, and had beautiful presentation. I do wish the tuna roll had a little more tuna in it, but the flavor and freshness were on point. The caterpillar roll was incredible. I also had the Japanese dessert duo made with red bean paste, which id never tried before. Delightful and not too sweet! The ambiance is lovely, the music is fun current pop hits at a good volume. Excellent location next to Green Lake. They just opened a few days ago and I hope they succeed, I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Great service, The menu was simple and the food was appealing and filling. Would like to try other plates at some point.

Yelp
Such a cute place! Would be a good date night spot for sure as they have more intimate seating. Their bathroom is like a maze to get to but not an issue just kinda quirky. The service is phenomenal! Our server was so great and attentive. The sushi was awesome! We had their sushi "pearls" which is kinda like sashimi. Presentation was impressive. Really enjoyed this place and would definitely go back.

Kayra I.

Yelp
Service is horrible. The place only has three tables full right now and it took 25 minutes for me to get one of the most basic things on the menu. Also the food is just okay. Not worth the price. Also there is weird low quality jazz covers of pop songs playing.
google avatar

Daniel G.

Yelp
The food was absolutely fantastic. I shared a Tiger Mega Roll with my girlfriend and it was electrifying. You can tell that it's made with quality ingredients and creatively designed. We're going to come here any time we want sushi. Aside from the food, the interior of the restaurant is well designed, aside from some lights that are too cold. The staff was amazing and provided us with great opinions about the food and alcohol. I'm excited to have this restaurant in Greenlake
google avatar

Dee M.

Yelp
We got the miso soup, the avocado inari, salmon inari, California roll and a Vegan lake roll. Everything was fresh and tasted really good except for the Vegan lake roll. While I appreciate the large portions, the vegan roll itself was too big in size. The fillings included sundried tomatoes which aren't a usual part of Japanese cuisine. The service was very good too. I would recommend this new sushi place in town.

Jason S.

Yelp
Tasty, classy spot great for eat-in or takeout. Much needed awesome sushi spot in the neighborhood!

Yelp
I wanted to try a new sushi place so my partner and I came with 2 other friends to try this place out. The place had a good rating so we thought we were gonna get some fantastic sushi. Unfortunately we were not impressed with what we got. Ill start with the good. The venue is cute and I genuinely liked the set up of everything. The prices were reasonable. The service needs improvement. They should take plates that are empty or in the way when they are putting new items down so that the table isn't cluttered or so its hard to eat. Also, they should check on the table a bit more and just be a bit more communitive. We had to wave our waitress down a bit to try and order drinks. We thought we were finished and were about to ask for the check only to have another roll come out at the very end. The food was not great for a couple of reasons. Ill start with the biggest problem, the Mega rolls. We probably ordered the most of these thinking they would be good to share. I figured these were longer rolls, but no these are XL wide rolls. They are so massive that you have to take multiple bites out of one piece and after the first bite it just falls apart, leaving you with more of a mess than you want. Some of them tasted ok, but the mega roll we got at the end that we weren't expecting was the fresh crab one and it did not taste good at all. We took one bite and then left it, and it was one of the more expensive rolls. You should never have to work hard to eat your food and I felt like these were just too difficult to eat. The other food we tried that wasn't great was the Miso soup which was very salty. The salmon sushi doughnut wasn't great either as it was hard to eat. The mackerel was definitely not good and extremely fishy tasting. They did have some enjoyable rolls but they were the more traditional ones. The spicy tuna was fantastic. The yellow tail nigiri was great too. So if you go maybe stick to the regular ones. But we will not be back.
