The Best Things To Eat At Citizens Bank Park - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Finding a good meatless main at a Philadelphia sporting event is as rare as finding a good therapist who takes your insurance. But somehow, Greens & Grains has done it. The gyro pita sandwich with seitan and vegan tzatziki is serviceable, but the plant-based hot dog on a toasted bun is worth going out of your way for." - alison kessler, candis mclean

I went to the one in Northfield about a year ago and had a bowl. It was ok, but I figured I’d give them another try. So I stopped here before heading to my hotel in AC. Happy to see they now have gluten free wraps. I ordered the veggie burger wrap combo. It came with chips and a water. It was delicious. My friend had one too, he’s not vegan, and he loved it as well. The next day we didn’t have time for a sit down breakfast so I went back to grab something quick. I had the scramble bowl. I was nervous about having chili for breakfast, but I must admit that it went well with the tofu and had much flavor. I gave my friend a taste and he also thought it was flavorful. This is definitely my go to spot when I’m in AC.

During my visit to Atlantic City last Monday, I searched for vegan options and found a great restaurant. I ordered three vegetarian wraps, and they were all delicious and well worth trying.

My constituent and I had planned a concert to go to at the hard rock Hotel and Café Friday night to see our lifelong favorite band Earth, Wind & Fire at the hard rock, Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey that’s for another story, coming soon!!! Along the way we wanted a place to eat that was completely vegan, but didn’t want to spend too much time and go to lavish so we chose a place called Greens and Grains in Northfield New Jersey . I believe they have four other locations. This one was perfect because it was along the way from our trek from the suburbs of Philadelphia. This is located in Tilton shopping center just off of Tilton Road in Northville, New Jersey approximately 20 minutes outside of Atlantic City. When we first entered the place, it is very well lit and it is laid out very well. Seating is not congested and the place is very clean. It is well decorated in a sustainable way. This is counter service that you walk up to and order your food. The menus are displayed very well on digital monitors on the wall so it’s easy to read and make choices after looking over the menu. My partner decided on getting the quinoa bowl with broccoli, kale and her protein of choice was chicken seitan, I decided on the coconut avocado BLT Panini, she order a sustainable box water to drink, and I ordered a cold pressed juice called receive. Less than five minutes our food was ready and we went to the counter to pick it up. The food is served in recyclable containers, which is nice with recycled plastic cutlery. My partner was mostly satisfied with her food. The only thing she does not do is spicy food. This food has garlic, some seasonings and red pepper flakes. This is not described on the menu, even though there is an allergen disclosure. This is something I believe that needs to be displayed as some folks may have conditions such as diverticulitis. They could have an adverse effect. Fortunately, my partner was OK. It didn’t bother her too much. My sandwich, the coconut avocado, BLT Panini at my first glance, it looked like it was going to be a very dry sandwich. Served on a sub roll with shredded lettuce, coconut bacon, avocado, and vegan mayo, yet once I took a bite into it it was bursting with flavor and absolutely delicious. There was maple flavor in the coconut bacon that was spot on the bacon was in large crumbles and it had just the right amount of vegan mayonnaise and avocado, along with the shredded lettuce so in every bite, there was a little bit of everything. We only ate half of our meals each because we wanted to try to dessert and have a little something for later so we ordered a vegan cupcake which we shared, which was excellent along with three vegan soft chewy chocolate chip cookies that were just as good and we saved a vegan Blondie brownie for later, we both were very impressed with the cold pressed juice which was called receive, and they have many other choices of cold pressed juices. This was delicious and healthy, packed full of energy and it it was Pitaya, rose, hips, lemongrass, hibiscus, orange, and lemon zest in coconut water with a healthy dose of ginger. We shared half of this, and I saved half of it for later because I knew we were gonna be out all night having a lot of fun and it would be a little bit refreshing for the drive home .The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. Good people holding down the fort on a Friday night kudos to them for being good spirited. We will be back again.

Another location of the best plant based chain in NJ. This location has a really nice staff and everything is usually very consistent. Highly reccomend! Everything is delicious and they have different options for gf, low glycemic, etc as well.

I went here looking like a total mess because I had been working on my car in the auto zone parking lot in somewhat of a crisis situation. I was waiting for autozone to charge my battery so I went in and got a wrap and washed my hands. Everybody was very nice and the homie made me one of the best wraps I ever had. Can't wait to go back

Our experience was wonderful. Staff was friendly, atmosphere was chill and George was amazing!! Thank you for GREAT food while we were on vacation. We were thankful we found clean vegan food to satisfy our palettes. This is a must visit even if you're not vegan.

Your establishment has little to none, oil free options. I was being extremely nice with my initial review, but the Owner countered with a response. If you have a menu that is 40% oil free is this the prepared, prepped and cooked items? Let’s not be so defensive and talk about the obvious oil free items, such as smoothies and lettuce 🥬( before the salad dressing). Seed oils are real and if Greens and Grains can not provide an itemized ingredient’s menu; then I’ll have to trust your crew members knowledge of the vegan chili 🌶️ ingredients and the Humus Pitas 🥙! You should read a few books: Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease or The China Study
