Service was wonderful. Friendly and kind employees! We ordered 2 Build Your Own bowls, Soup of the Day (Cream of Mushroom), and Nachos. They use sunflower seeds to make the soup and the nacho cheese instead of nuts. Food was delicious, and very generous servings. We also had 2 fresh smoothies with our meal.

Really nice staff helped us with our orders since it was our first time there. We got the Harvest bowls and the pesto kale salads. Both were delicious. And so healthy!

I go here once a year and this is my third year. I always get the loaded nachos and at first, I was blown away when I took my first bite of the nachos. The cheese...sooo good! Made with yams and sun flower seeds. But as each year goes by, I feel like it’s not as good. This time, I barely got any cheese. Only in the visible places and not by the layer. It was just loaded with toppings and they were skimpy on the cheese which I think is the most important ingredient. I also got the mushroom asada burrito. Didn’t taste any cheese, the flavors were lacking and had lots of rice. Not really asada flavor but mushroom. Last year I had the cream of mushroom soup and that was light. Very good.

Food and Juice is great. Tons of vegetarian and Vegan options. Vegan Burrito has very nice flavor. Juice is half off if it was made yesterday. The only issue was the cashier coughing directly into his hand right before handing me the juice. But hey… sanitizer was right there haha 😆 Overall nice food and atmosphere. The food is delicious and healthy AF for you. Great service, too. On the way to the bathroom is a little bring-and-take a book to share; found one with Ghandi essays! Highly recommend this place! Enjoy 💓

Their customers service was amazing and the atmosphere as well but the food was a bit over priced for a wrap 18$ and the flavors were a bit over powering. I took a bite of the hearty hummus wrap and it was just too over powering. Also request for extra avocado and never saw any in my wrap. I took a few bites and just couldn’t eat it.

I don’t have a whole lot of experience on plant-based cuisine but have to say this place serves really good food. Was recommended their hummus wrap which I can confirm hits the spots. Their signature drinks are also great and refreshing. Overall a great experience even as a non-vegan.

Phenomenally delicious plant based food. The Mediterranean bowl came with a curry sauce, and the Southwest bowl had a Chipotle sauce. Both bowls were delicious and packed with high protein plant matter like beans and quinoa. Portions were generous, and I had a little snack sized salad remaining when I felt full. SMOKEY PEA SOUP IS 🔥🔥🔥. So delicious, so hearty. Kombucha tea was bright and refreshing. A perfect balance to the soup. Tried their kale chips, too. I usually hate lake chips, but these guys got something right. I can't wait to try more of their menu.

The food here is phenomenal The issue I have is the heavy smell of chemical cleaner similar to fabuloso. I asked and it's not fabulosos but another harsh chemical. the entire place is filled with the smell the last few times I went in there. For those of you health conscious all the way around and know how harmful chemicals are for you, this may deter you from eating here. I was craving their food but as soon as I walked in it hit me and I can't eat food knowing the odorants of chemicals have landed on the food. I gave a suggestions to the young man up front. He showed openness and a willingness to suggest something more health conscious. In my opinion, if you're going to go green, go green all the way. Vinegar works just as well. Again, the food and selection is delicious, I'll come back in a few months and see if things have changed. If not, I will no longer recommend this space or come back. Nothing personal, more for health reasons.

Dirty table, forgotten order, mini nachos are "cheese" sauce, tiny scoop of avocado for an extra $2.50 and Costco tortilla chips. All of this I can easily overlook, but the disgusting build up in the back of the restaurant (near our table) + filthy utensils is why I'm writing my first yelp review ever. Do better, will NOT be back.

The food was alright, definitely overpriced for what it is. They also forgot about our order meanwhile not a single person was in here at the time. Tables were dirty and then even the silverware was dirty too. Plus there was some super funky mold or some sort of calcium build up in the back in the floor which was a bit concerning. Staff were super nice considering they're probably just in high school and this is a weekend job. Will not be back.

Great vegan place, the soups here are phenomenal even my picky son eats it. I went in today and was planning on sitting inside but they said they close the dining early everyday so around 4 you have to get it togo instead.

Harvest Bowl. 65% of this bowl is composed or rice! Oh noooo!!!! I paid $15 for this bowl that says it has mushrooms and all goodness but majority of the contents were rice! Well, I can buy 2 lbs of rice for $3.00 ... why do I need to go here??? My point is--I came here for the salad, not RICE. So please don't cheat on your customers by placing too much rice and boat loads of sauce. My $15 can do better at SweetGreen!!!!

I've come here a few times in the past year and the food is always consistently good. I love that they use clean ingredients. I've tried the chickpea bowl and the nachos and both are delicious. The people working have always been friendly and service is pretty fast. They don't have a lot of options for seating but not a big deal. I'm not vegan but still enjoy the food here!

Greens Please Wellness Kitchen (B- or 3.5 stars) : Not bad for a vegan meal! Tomato bisque soup (B ) : Satisfyingly thick, sweet, tangy tomato soup! Lacked smoothness of one that's not vegan, but the texture - almost like a porridge but more flowing, I'm guessing from beans blended to a syrupy paste - helped make the soup more filling. Potabello Mushroom Taco (B- ) : The filling was very tasty. A nice balance of savory, acidic & sweetness. The potabello mushrooms reminded me of mushrooms braised with oyster sauce! Unfortunate that the tortilla wrap was weak - cold, grainy texture that was a bit cardboard like. Given the pricing, don't think I would come here on my own but if I was with vegan friends and wanted a quick lunch, I'd gladly join. ---------------- Food Grading Scale: A+: Life changing. You remember these bites for the rest of your life. Occurs very infrequently and when it does, you'll know it. You don't even know how to further improve it with a magic wand. A: Wow! Excellent. You felt happy biting into it. You're considering whether it's life changing, but know it misses the mark. A-: Very very good. Whatever it is, it's one of the best, but you can think of further improvements. B+: Very good. Very enjoyable, not to the point of "impressive," but worth revisiting. B: Good. A solid example of whatever it is, offering enjoyment, but not enough for making an effort to get. B-: Not bad. If in a pinch to eat something, this offers some enjoyment and is a reasonable option. C+: Mediocre plus. Pretty average, but with one or two positive characteristics you can identify. C: Mediocre. "Meh". Very average. Not bad enough to make you angry, but nothing good about it at all. C-: Bad. You recognize it for what it is, but a very bad rendition. Your foodie self is a little pissed, and feeling like a dummy you ordered it. D: Awful. Whoever cooked it should be ashamed of themself. Somehow, you still managed to swallow a bite. F: WTF is this? Inedible. One chew, you had to spit it out. Fire the chef.

What a hidden gem! Lots of tasty good food! Loved the Buddha bowl...seasoning was a perfection and the best way to eat kale.

My young adult son is a vegan and we have been here a number of times with no incident. However, last April we stopped by to pick up a smoothy. As always my son drank it. With-in an hour after he could not get off of the toilet. He still had the bottle that the smoothy came in. The label said that the smoothy was not pasteurized. His gut was just not the same even after he partially recovered. At one point he got so dehydrated that he had to go to the ER to get IV fluids. When he saw a specialist she said it would take 6 wks after food poisoning to heal. It has been 3months and his gut is now just getting back to normal. Please inform customers out right. Some people don't read the labels.

Just went here with my mom for the first time after hiking Mt. Woodson and I don't know if it fueled us up more or makes us wanna lay down and take a nap, we're so satisfied! We both got bowls. I ordered the umami bowl which was great, and she built her own because she has even further dietary restrictions-- they made that very easy. The portions were perfect. Whatever is in the lemon pepper hummus has to be illegal because it's so good. We also split the vegan & gluten-free peanut butter chocolate chip cookie and WOWWW. Sat outside and inhaled it all. Also really love that they have a cooler inside to refill your water bottle. Can't wait to come back!

I ordered the standard açaí bowl with chia hemp seeds and almond butter. The granola was very good... fresh, crunchy and flavorful. The fruit including strawberries, blueberries and banana were excellent. The açaí itself was very good, also flavorful. The texture of the açaí was generally pretty good, but much of it was a bit frozen and would have been better if it was blended first. Small suggestion and not a significant complaint. The bowl was ordered online, ready quickly and I got a text to indicate that. The only reason for not giving the fifth star was the size for the price. It was about the same price as my favorite (Everbowl), but it seems like it was maybe 25% or so smaller. You get a medium for the price of a large.

These peeps are super friendly. I had a lot of questions on what their favorite dishes were and what they recommended. They were very informative and I appreciate that because I had no idea what I was in for. The hours are a little out of the normal, so pay attention to them on the website before going in or maybe give them a call. The food is pretty tasty for what they're working with so I'll give them that. They make things that wouldn't normally be appealing to me, appealing!

I feel so much better after having anything from Greens Please. They have a short selection of blended juices to choose from as well as vegan options for food. They always offer soup samples and from what I could tell they taste amazing! The ingredients they use here include organic seeds and fruits. I like how they tell you what's included as well in the blend! Definitely wishing for another location closer to me.

Their bowls are yummy, I love the umami bowl. However they are pricey. Their smoothies are just ok. Good flavor but made with water so they're not creamy at all (more like a thick juice?). They also aren't made to order (comes premade in a bottle). If I'm paying nine bucks for a smoothie I would expect it to be made on the spot with the ability to make adjustments.

I will literally NEVER come back here again which makes me SUPER sad because I LOVED this place. I got a breakfast burrito to go (pre hike breakfast.) Super pumped to come here because I live in Ocean Beach and don't get to Poway too frequently. I got my burrito to-go and I wanted a little bit of hot sauce "to-go" but they don't have packets... totally fine, I asked if they had a ramekin so I could pour some hot sauce into it (why am I doing the problem solving? He should have made the suggestion!!) and the guy said "NO." Because people take advantage and pour too much I have to now put my hot sauce on my to- go burrito on the top of it which makes no sense because you pour it each bite not on top of the f****ing burrito.... I told him I'm happy to pay for some hot sauce!! He then he proceeds to pour a stingy amount for me and drops the lid ON THE GROUND and then tries to put the lid off the dirty floor back on the ramekin!!! Dude, get your s*** together. No one is out to rip you off on hot sauce. It's your job as a business owner to figure this out fairly so your customers can have hot sauce for their food. Charge me I don't care! This is EASY problem solving considering the difficulties of starting and running a business. This is what I got for $1.50 lol (clean lid cap after I had to ask a new one not one that touched the dirty floor.) Now you just lost a customer for life. Good job!! **** It's important to note this guy comes off slightly mentally ill, passive aggressive and he's LOOKING for drama / making things difficult, this is why he's getting 1-star reviews, it's HIS tone and vibe that creats the further hostility. There's an energy about him you will notice before even speaking, unlike the sweet calm cashier. He's likely projecting some bull*** he needs to workout onto his customers. I'm not sure what happened to the original owner but this guy is a total deuschbag.****

What an amazingly delicious place that serves a great selection of vegetarian and vegan food. Even my husband was impressed with their burritos. It is pricy but the quality here is fresh and great for your health. Highly recommended if you're in the area and lucky if you're a local.

Wow!! Can't say enough good things about Greensplease! I was home at my moms house for less than a week and got this 2 times for lunch. The mediterranean bowl was my favorite. It's filling and so healthy. I loved the dressing and the sprouts. My boyfriend got the wrap and it was delicious, even after it being delivery it wasn't soggy. They also do cleanses and smoothies. A must have! Update: went back for breakfasts sitting down - still so amazing! The loaded avocado toast was delicious and each piece has a different topping which is so brilliant! They were both delicious though and loved having both. The almond maple toast was sweet with the maple and cinnamon.

Everything here is delicious. Just delicious. I'm almost through the entire menu and it just gets better and better. I'm not even vegan! Just very healthy and I care about what goes into my body. You won't regret coming here. Promise! The employees are super sweet too.

I've been to GreensPlease a couple times now to try different menu items and they are always a hit! The Pesto Kale Salad has a variety of ingredients with a really flavorful dressing. I also really enjoyed the Buddha Bowl which was hearty and filling with a yummy pesto. Definitely try the smoothies, the Green-ya Colada is my fav and refreshing to take home after the meal. I'll be back for the friendly service and to try the soups next.

We love this place ! The best vegan food in Poway. I recommend The Power wrap and the Buddha Bowl, add Carne asada lentils to everything

You don't need my review. Staff (who I suspect may own this place) was incredibly helpful with suggestions. I thought the mushroom soup was glorious and great job with the nachos. Very busy which makes me certain they are consistent in quality

This is my go-to spot in Poway when I am wanting a healthy meal. Do yourself a favor and order the umami bowl!

We heard good things about this place. Drove 20 minutes to pick up dinner for the fam. I saw it closed at 6pm so I made sure to get there by 530om... and they wouldn't serve me!!! They said they had already cleaned up. What? How about changing your hours to close at 5pm then? Or say "lunch only." Or something. I've never had this happen anywhere else. So lame.

We have seen the place for years but because of the location we didn't look further. Then one day I was next door getting my grandson's hair cut and read the menu and decided to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. We eat here on a regular basis now! The bowls and wraps are our favorites. So don't let the location fool you!

Shop is small and tucked away so I stopped in to pick up a the southwestern chickpea bowl with low expectations especially as I'm not a huge fan of chickpeas or lentils to begin with. However, the lentils and chickpeas were both seasoned so well in the 'curry' mixture. It complemented the soft (but not mushy) rice. The other sprouts, avocado, red cabbage, and green onion all went well together. On top of that, my order was ready within a minute. Excited to try other menu items from here!

Great food menu selection and cozy dining atmosphere. Service is typical and staff behind counter could smile a bit.

Very nice and healthy food. It's a little tucked in place right by Starbucks. They have great healthy options. Trying their food after my workout was a bliss. Good portion and fresh food. I would highly recommend trying this place out.

We got the hummus wrap, breakfast burrito, kale pesto salad, and butternut squash soup. The hummus wrap was our favorite but everything was so so tasty, filling, and nutrient dense! All the employees were super friendly and helpful as well!

This used to be my favorite place. I have been a long time customer. I understand the challenges faced with changing ownership and owning a business. I was super disappointed when I lost my 1,000+ points during the switch, but I still wanted to support the new ownership. Quality of product has been slowly and slightly changing and not in a great way. Things like taste and consistency of the drinks and such. I haven't had any of the products for a while now because every time I was going to stop by it said it was closed. I just went to check on the hours and notice they are only open midday M-F which is unfortunate since that is literally while Im at work from 8-5pm 20 miles away. I am not writing this strictly to complain or vent, but in hopes that it can be applied as constructive criticism because I would still like to support this business.

I love this place! Everything is vegan, much of it organic. And it's delicious. I like full flavors and don't like boring food. Today I got an Umami bowl and it was really good! The sauce, guacamole, and pickled onions provided great flavors. I also got the Greens Colada juice and it was amazing. Oh, and a vegan marzipan snickerdoodle! The service was great and the tiny dining area is very comfortable and cute.

Two words - VEGAN NACHOS. I for one love nacho cheese especially if it's the yellow kind from the can, BUT if you're looking for a heartier plant based fiber packed version of nachos, definitely do a pit stop here. You get either chip base or cabbage/spinach base topped with their "vegan" cheese, lentils and other veggies (carrots, microgreens, cabbage, green onions). An order is an entire meal. If you pair if with a drink, you get a bit of a discount for a combo. I paired it with the neopolitan juice and acai beverage. (Note: the app doesn't seem to let you do combos and must order separately, so give em a call if you want to order ahead. The app also looks to time order readiness out for 30 minutes, so walking in may be a faster option). Staff is super friendly and nice!

This place is awesome! Super delicious, fresh and healthy food and smoothies! Their mushroom soup is beyond amazing! Always very friendly service. Only problem is their hours seem to change day-to-day and I'm never sure when they are going to be open.

Fresh ingredients , layers of flavor , generous portions and efficient service - whether you are plant-based or not , give this place a try ! The Southwest Chickpea Bowl was very well-spiced and the Butternut Squash Bisque had the perfect texture and flavor !! Their fresh juices are also pretty amazing

I was not satisfied after eating here. I was excited to try this place because of good reviews. They offer free tasting for juice and soup of the day. I wasn't a fan of their juice so I got their avocado toast. First of all, they skim the avocados... I wish there were more avocados on this instead of beans. Additionally, I wish it wasn't an grounded up avocados like a spread. I think it would've been better if they were sliced avocados. You know what I mean? There were too much of beans on this. Also why is the bread so tiny? I was surprised by the portion I've got. You get two slices, the toppings are different. I preferred the beans over salsa one. My friends got vegan nachos and that portion was bigger than my two slices of bread. I went home hungry.

This place is a rare plant-forward find, even among vegan restaurants. They offer a huge array of vegetables and grains and pair them with delicious savory sauces. Their menu has expanded tenfold since they first opened and I'm so glad, because their breakfast items are the bomb. We got a breakfast burrito and breakfast bowl and both were delicious, although I definitely prefer the burrito. Thanks for holding down the fort, y'all!

Delicious! We need more healthy places like this in this area. I had the Southwestern Chickpea bowl and bf had the Harvest Bowl. Both had a lot of flavor and filled with nutritious ingredients like spinach, kale, lentils, cabbage, sweet potatoes, and mushrooms. We will definitely be back.

Ohhh my gosh this place can make me vegan and I love meat the owner Ben and the staff really care about what they put on the menu it was amazing, I truly love the vegan nachos with the pear salsa and vegan cheese and pear salsa and yes make from scratch, the coconut cream o. The French toast with the fruit was super delicious, the smoothies was amazing too with kombucha and the blends of the greens, I am a forever customer I can't believe I never heard of this place I will Come back and back for more

The food has a good feel. I had a "popular bowl" that had shitake, sweet potatoes, kale, rice, and other goodies. There were interesting flavors mixed in, and they were all married well together into a "sexy" combo. I also had one of their shots (for immunity), a larger than usual bottle with "health bomb" ingredients such as acv, cayenne, moringa, and turmeric. There's outside sitting and also inside, plus a cozy room in the back. I'd say they put lots of thought and experience into the food served. Last but not least, when I entered this place, I had mild cold symptoms. An hour later, they were all gone :)
