The farmers market is "me time" on Saturdays. I absolutely enjoy going in and looking around. The food that is allowed for sampling always turn out to be great and you end up buying. I normally buy my flowers from Waseda Farm Flowers...got to get there early or your out of luck. However I do support other flower sellers that do be out there because they are all beautiful! Now that they will be opening more during the summer I can't wait to explore more!

This is where we go when we want fresh local fruits and veggies we always get strawberries here and ive also gotten some plants here that heirloom as well as some lotions ghee meats and even some mushrooms! Sometimes you can buy cbd here. But I recommend going here trying the fruit.

Google
Such a cute place to browse vendors’ variety of plants and produce! They were mostly selling outdoor plants, with everything from fruit trees to hanging flower baskets. I recommend checking it out, there are also events there so check online!

Had a great time here! All the sellers were super friendly. There was plenty of fresh produce at reasonable prices. As far as parking goes, you have to park on the side of the road in a nearby residential neighborhood. There was also amazing live folk music! I definitely recommend doing some grocery/gift shopping here when you get the chance.

Always love a farmers market! There could be one vendor there and I think I'd still enjoy myself.

Google
Friendly atmosphere with music playing over speakers. Huge, lots of great farmers and artists, plus coffee and tea available as well as a little cafe/demo kitchen where you can immediately enjoy your purchase.

Google
Nice selection of produce and crafts. Friendly vendors and staff. A little crowded but it was Saturday. I'd go again

We hosted the last stop for the vegan fest of the year here. I served as the Emcee and the space was accommodating for what we had to offer the community. Until next time

Yelp
First time here with some friends and I was blown away with all the options ! A new stop for my Saturday mornings, I usually go to the corner farmers market but decided to check this one out today instead. Some of the same vendors but a lot of different ones as well. Today I bought cat grass, lemonade, peaches, and strawberry ice cream. random! The lemonade was amazing you can preorder different flavors and they come in a to go bag. The peaches so juicy! in season right now, and the strawberry ice cream!!! Yum! Cant wait to indulge. Everyone that I spoke to was so friendly, I love going to the farmers market to get my fish/ meat / veggies and seasonings. I definitely am going to check this one out again. It is indoors. no dogs, parking lot was decent size.

Yelp
This is our second time going to this market. What a great market. Farm fresh eggs and meats. The venders are so nice and helpful. The tomatoes are to die for. I have missed the fresh tomatoes living in Florida. They are not the same there. We also find a nice little booth with homemade soy candles and laundry soap. The laundry soap is amazing on my cloths. We also got 2 wine classes by a local potter. Great day! We will return

Yelp
A go-to for locals who want fresh, organic, local produce and goods. I've been coming to this location for a few years now and is always nice to see what the vendors offer. Vegetables, fruit, plants, hand made goods, meats...etc. There are always new vendors along with the usuals who are there weekly. The vendors are kind (mostly) and are very open to answer any questions you have about their products or offer any tips/advice for use or growing them yourself. Often there are events such as live music or a specific theme of vendors. Highly recommend checking out and appreciating your local farmers and vendors.

Yelp
Love love this farmers market! On Saturdays it's filled with amazing produce and local products! These change with the seasons and the vendors are always so, so kind and helpful to answer any questions. Some Sundays they have curiosities at the curb which is filled with odds and ends and fun thrifted items! This past week I got an Art Deco ashtray from the 20s and some gorgeous cocktail stirring spoons! Must check it out!

Yelp
Such a perfect farmers market with so much to offer right near downtown! All the local farmers and business owners are so friendly and helpful! They have everything from fresh made food from local folks, eggs, milk, ice cream for the kids, coffee, plenty of booths to choose from for vegetables from local farmers, beautiful bouquets from florists, homemade BBQ sauce, teas, seafood and more! I hadn't been here in years but am excited to come back to support local farmers for my weekly vegetable needs! Great pricing depending on what you're looking for too! Open Saturday mornings from 730-12! Plenty of Parking right behind and in front/side parking lot off Lindsay or Yanceyville. They even offer special events ie live music, food prep classes, tastings, etc sometimes too and has great outdoor seating options for families and all to hang out! Of course great place for kids to join along but only service pet friendly. They also accept SNAP/EBT. Follow their Instagram for their most up to date happenings - gsocurbmarket

Yelp
Small and quaint farmers market close to the NorthEast side of Greensboro. It's a cute market that I enjoy going to for local produce, flowers, and plants. By no means is it comparable to the much larger farmer's market off of the highway going towards Winston-Salem, but still offers some good quality selections. There are a few stalls outside of the building but mainly everything is inside. I can run through the market fairly quickly as the building isn't the biggest and stalls arent filled most of the time. They do offer some food but not much. There's a coffee stall as well. Overall I like it, but sometimes you leave empty handed because of the smaller amount of vendors (also can get pretty cramped through the aisles).

Yelp
I can't believe that I **just** discovered this amazing jewel in the crown of the Gate City! The Greensboro Farmer's Market is so much more interesting than its counterpart in Colfax, NC. There were several fruit / vegetable vendors, but there were also people selling teas, flowers, soaps, candles, coffee, and even BOOKS! Now you've really got my attention. I came for some fresh peaches, and I ended up with a quart of amazing ones. I also walked away with locally sourced honey and beautiful flowers. The florist advised me how to care for the flowers to make them look their best for the longest amount of time. The honey seller proudly announced that he has been behind the counter of this farmer's market for the past 55 years and has never missed a Saturday! Business was booming while I was there and I'm so glad that they're open on Wednesday morning as well as Saturday mornings because I'll most certainly be needing more fruit and flowers very soon!

Yelp
Nice little place. I found this place online prior to our trip to NC so I put it on the list of places to visit. Glad we did. Found a couple vendors to spend some money with. Candles and kimchi....the aisles are kind of tight trying to get through with a toddler and during the pandemic. Lots of fresh veggies and little desserts/food things available to purchase. We do wish the were like different seasoning blends available for purchase. Would I recommend stopping here: yes!! Go earlier vs later because the crowd was picking up as we were leaving. I imagine it can get pretty packed in there

Yelp
Lots of variety! Fresh produce. interesting things like styles of bbq sauce, kimchi, kombucha (in hot seasons) , quiches, soaps, honey, etc. There's a woman who makes only gluten-free baked goods. You can find Many types of mushrooms here. Everything is fresh and you can find what's in season at that time there. Be mindful of their opening and closing times and specific days they are open. Come early bc if you come later, all the good stuff is taken. Also parking is available there but it can get crowded so you may have a little trouble finding parking.

Yelp
Small, but anyway, very well furnished market: ideally, it's usefull when you need fresh vegetables, or other "land products" that you don't want to buy from the big food chains.

Yelp
I really love Greensboro's downtown curb market. I love knowing where my food comes from as well as supporting local merchants. Vendors have everything you expect from a market - fresh, seasonal, LOCAL produce as well as eggs/cheese/meats. But, there are also vendors selling freshly-made baked goods, teas/coffees, flowers, plant starts, and household goods. Some of our wonderful restaurants and well-known local food sellers are always here - Loaf Bakery and Zaytoons from downtown and the well-known and long-revered Goat Lady Dairy from out in Climax. Negatives can be parking and the tight space of the market itself, especially in the later morning hours. I tend to go early (always before 9am) so I get in and out before it gets too crowded. Oh, and bring cash! Although, there maybe an ATM on site somewhere, I always try to bring the smaller bills for ease of transactions. I'm giving 5 stars despite the slight negatives because it really is the best Greensboro has to offer in terms of this type of market. Yes, I know other locals may dispute this claim and reference the larger, more spacious market out on I-40. But, I stand firm that the downtown curb market has friendlier vendors, more variety in goods, and a more energetic (albeit crowded) atmosphere that makes it tops in my book. Munching on a freshly fried apple pie and sipping some organic coffee or enjoying the African caterer's ginger lemonade along with her beignets as I make my way through the aisles dreaming up my meals of the week - always starts my weekend off just right!

Yelp
Best part(s) of my week = going to the Curb Market on Wednesdays (open April-December from 8 am -1 pm) or Saturdays (7 am - 12 pm). This is one local spot I take all visitors and spend serious cash each week, as shopping local is important to me. On Wednesdays, not nearly as many vendors come out, but I am able to buy what I need (greens, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, peppers). On Saturdays, the vendor stands are FULL and you want to get there early if you need specific items. I started buying laundry detergent here and handmade baby gifts, too. Overall, great for: weekly produce shopping, a place to find locally made gifts, a nice weekly outing (going to the Curb Market is part of my routine), lunch on a Wednesday. If you haven't been, add this into your Wednesday or Saturday routine - you will be glad you did!

Yelp
Going to the Yanceyville Farmers Market on Saturday morning is just a great way to start the day. Grab your travel mug full of Joe and amble up and down the aisles of local tomatoes, corn, squash, okra, cucumbers, homemade cakes, flowers, pies, local grass-fed beef, Goat Lady Cheese, peaches, and more. More than likely you're going to see people you know. Everyone is smiling and in a great mood. Plus, you're supporting our local farmers which is pretty cool. Most people accept credit and debit cards, but there's an ATM on sight just in case. If Saturday morning doesn't suit or you need a local veggie fix more than once a week, they are also open on Wednesdays.

Yelp
Went for Greensboro's Craft Fair and thoroughly enjoyed it! Lots of cool and creative vendors to explore and just overall a fun environment! Will definitely be returning to the event as well as just exploring what the Greensboro Farmer's Curb Market is like on a typical daily basis.

Yelp
I highly recommend taking your business elsewhere. The people in charge are horrible to deal with. The aggravation in dealing with them and the frustration it creates is not worth it.
google avatar

Yelp
Get there early for the best farmers market in terms of interesting stands, fresh and unusual veg, amazing pastries and pies. We love the exotic mushroom stand, and the long string beans are unusual and tasty from another stand.

Yelp
The curb market is an institution in Greensboro and over the 9 years I have lived here I have seen it change as the culinary trends have changed. The venders used to sell biscuits and pound cake. It has grown to include vendors selling goat cheese (Goat cheese Lady), artisan breads, cheesecakes and wonderful muffins. There is Greek food, Middle eastern food, and foods from New Orleans, as well as new takes on Southern foods. There are organic farmers, hydroponic farmers (lettuce and greens), mushroom and garlic growers....farm fresh eggs, etc. Homeland Dairy has a stand and they have incredible vanilla ice cream. The best time of the year to go is from late Spring to early Fall. The tomatoes, peaches, blackberries are fantastic in the summer. The zucchini will be coming out your ears, but who can resist them. And the older ladies who sell the little flower bouquets are wonderful. Be sure to stop and talk to them. They have been at the market for years and have lots of stories to tell. This market is a treasure in Greensboro. I hope it continues to grow and thrive.

Yelp
Greensboro's best kept secret! All local, all growers and makers market. Small and cozy but the options are huge...conventional and organic growers, standard varieties and chef worthy produce. Flowers, meats, honey, baked goods and sauces. Lots of diversity too!

Yelp
One of my favorite places to go on the weekend! The curb market is a hub for the local organic farmers to meet and sell their produce. It's a great place to sample some local delicacies ... the homemade pimento cheese and "Goat Lady Cheese" are two of many "must sample" products! You'll also find cool stuff for around the house, including jewelry and homemade soaps. There's also plants and other stuff for the garden. It's a fun hangout - check it out sometime whether you are just visiting or you live here. The Farmer's Market out by the airport is similar - and with some of the same vendors - but I personally prefer the Curb Market. The Curb Market is open Saturday mornings all year - and Wednesdays during the summer (hint: go Saturday). One of the few times you'll see me give five stars! A great way to capture local flavor, and support our growing organic/slow food movement.

Yelp
This is the hub of Greensboro on Saturday mornings, especially on one of the days that features strawberries, blueberries, or other fresh produce from around the Piedmont. You'll find all the local growers of food and flowers, as well as craftspeople who specialize in different media. It's a little crowded, but that's part of the charm!

Yelp
We love this farmer's market! We typically visit this place bright and early on Saturday mornings. They have a variety of fresh produce and most of it is organic. Most of the farmers there only sell what is in season and won't put out products that are unsatisfactory. This farmer's market is large enough to have variety but small enough that it doesn't feel commercial and the farmers remember me from week to week. It's always a good idea to get here early, since some of the smaller vendors have limited product and will sell out quickly! If you are looking for what is in season, then this farmer's market is definitely for you. If you're looking to buy tomatoes in the dead of winter, then I recommend finding a larger farmer's market. This is an awesome little place and a great way to support local farmers and the city of Greensboro.

Kelly E.

Yelp
Great Saturday visit to Market! #yeehawdoughnuts are the best; made with local sweet potato in the dough! Scrumptious! Shout out to all the vendors for the fresh beets, greens, cheeses, eggs, and meats!

Yelp
This is one of my must visit places when I come to Gboro. I used to live right down the street and I loved walking here on Saturday mornings. Every week was an adventure and I found something new and delicious. My favorite thing her is the goat lady booth. The soft cheeses are divine and I miss them so much. Every time I come to town I take a couple back to FL with me. There is always many different vendors and it is almost impossible to leave without buying something.
google avatar

Yelp
Just picked fruits and veggies at good prices that KEEP when you get them home because they haven't been shipped around the country or around the world. Eggplant is my favorite and ordinarily must be cooked right away, but it's kept a week fresh from the market. Except for the hydroponic vendors, everything is seasonal so the variety changes. Zaytoon's and Loaf also sell there. My guests tell me the biscuit lady (near the back entrance) makes fabulous food.

Yelp
Cute market. Everyone is very friendly. Good variety and incredible prices, even cheaper than I've seen in cities half the size of Greensboro.

Yelp
A really fun and lively way to spend your Saturday morning in Greensboro. The Farmers Market is great because it has a built in brunch option as you stroll around you can get your coffee and some delicious pastries from local bakeries. My 4 year old loves to come along too. It is really a perfect size to not overwhelm anyone. I highly recommend picking up some soaps, goat cheese spread, pastries, honey, bbq sauce, teas, and crafts from local vendors...in addition to your veggies, eggs, etc.

Yelp
I love this market I drive from burlington to come to this market. I only wish we had one where I live. the atmosphere is wonderful so are the people and the products. I come when ever I can. I here they are voting to change it. please dont,t! everyone needs to write a review who comes there so they will know how much we love it!
