"If you are spending the day exploring the maritime museums of Greenwich, then you will most probably stumble across this park. Spanning 183 acres, Greenwich Park is a large area with a history that dates back to Roman times. Within the park are a number of attractions including Greenwich’s famous Prime Meridian line where you can cross two time zones. The Royal Observatory also sits within the park, offering the opportunity to learn about astronomy and view what was once the world’s largest telescope. Even if you don’t have time to go inside, take a walk up to the observatory for spectacular views across the city. Where else to go on a Sunny Day? Of course it's to this place. Its just lush green and beautiful. You can see all the shades of green here! This expanse is the lungs of London. There are a lot of walkways branching out to various territories of the Park. You can walk, jog or run to your heart’s content. Maps are kept at vantage points so that you can plan your walking route. Lot of regulars and tourists come here. The place is dog friendly. Park has benches as well. Volunteer aided buggies are available for mobility impaired and wheel chair users on Fri, Sat and Sundays. Paid toilets are available. Well maintained and a pleasant place to go.

I love the place. Without being annoyed by anyone, can spend the day.. It's a huge park in a town. I can't imagine how these parks are managed so well within a town. Loved the vibe feel and atmosphere. Very relaxing.. Its better if it's open at least till 10pm on the summer. Unfortunately in spring closes around 8pm.

Great park, Nice view of Canary wharf and the Thames from the Royal Observatory. Nice cafe at the top the Pavilion Cafe and in the Observatory. Toilets are available halfway up the hill. Car park at the top near the cafe, very busy. Has the Queen's House and National Maritime museum at the bottom. Really nice park to take the children to ride their bikes and scooters.

I’ve been coming to Greenwich park since I was a kid. 40 years later I am still in love with this park as it’s my favourite park in London. I love the views, the museums, the observatory and just the greenery which is stunning in each season of the year! I highly recommended the park for locals, Londoners and tourists to visit. Came here on the weekend 13 April 2024 with my partner and went walking around there which was lovely always nice coming back to this park and seeing the greenery and views.

The playground space is plenty. You can carry any ball game, Frisbee, or Kite etc., You can skate, cycle, run or Sprint there is still a huge place left. You can play any games without disturbing the public and pets. This huge space is for dogs as well. Bring your pets for a long walk, or throw ball games or a simple fetch. If you don't have one, just looking at them playing is bliss. You can have an amazing family picnic here. Fresh air, warm weather, lovely people around and playful dogs. What else do we want?

Park is looking lovely with the cherry blossom in full bloom, plenty of open space, flower garden is really colourful and the pavilion cafe is open for a relaxing cuppa or cold drink, plenty of seating throughout the park, clean and well maintained. Great place to take the kids
