Great food and atmosphere. Eclectic and interesting. Chef takes a lot of pride in his food you can tell. All fresh and local. I got the famous fried chicken and it's definitely worth the hype and like nothing you have tried before. A very unique rendition on fried chicken. Sides and deserts are amazing too.

Unique out of the way place in Roswell. Off of main street, if you like Duck, you need to get the rotisserie duck with plum sauce. Good serving sizes as well.

My husband and I have eaten here many times, and have always enjoyed the food and service. Last night it was different. I ordered the Salmon and my husband ordered the Meatloaf. The meatloaf was great, but the salmon was half cooked, and I had to send back. Both my husband and I had ordered the cooked cabbage, which was cold, tough and had to send back. It seems that the only seasonings that they used was black pepper, which abounded on everything. I had the cherry pie. The bottom crust was almost burned, but filling and top crust was good. The service was some of the best that we have experienced. Will go back because I hope that this was just a bad night.

The fried chicken was FANTASTIC, but the rest of the meal was unimpressive. Fried green tomatoes and mashed potatoes were under-seasoned; greens were extremely sweet. I would go back for the chicken (large pieces, juicy, crispy, sweet & slightly spicy...but also rather pricey), and I wish I'd tried the pie - every other table around me ordered multiple slices.

This is one of the greatest restaurants I've ever eaten at!! We've been coming here for 17 years for birthday dinners, and every year, we're amazed! The food is spectacular, particularly the macaroni and cheese, and the desserts are to-die-for. I've never found a place that served better chocolate pie. The atmosphere is so inviting and the people so friendly. To make such delicious food does take time, but while you're waiting for your food, you can walk through the beautiful gardens that surround Greenwood's. Truly, this is one of the highlights of the area. Highly recommended, and definitely worth it!

Sometimes I just go here for dessert - the pie is THAT AMAZING. The berry pie is my favorite. Food-wise, I think I could just eat sides, sides and more sides. Actually, that was my resolution after my last visit. I ordered pot roast but it was hot out and while it was tasty, I just scarfed the veggies I ordered that were SO YUMMY and took 3/4 of the rest home. You do get HUGE portions. So, you will have to be careful to leave room for the pie. And trust me, you want the pie!

I brought my nephew and two college friends to Greenwood's today. I have eaten at Greenwood's once before and remembered thinking it was pretty good. I chose this restaurant based on location and the fact that overall ratings were positive. I wanted to bring my guests to a memorable spot, especially since one person in our party had never visited Atlanta before. We walked in and received a very warm welcome. That is the only positive thing I can say about our experience today. We ordered a hamburger, shrimp and grits, salmon and a chicken pot pie.. The hamburger was served on a regular size bun, however, the hamburger patty was at least 3/4 inch larger than the bun all the way around. Not only did it look ridiculous, but would have been very difficult to eat. The person who ordered it took her knife and trimmed the meat down to match the size of the bun. Absurd! I ordered the shrimp and grits that was served in what looked like a Melamine cereal bowl. The grits had no taste at all and the pieces of shrimp plopped on top were not much better. I'm no cook but after one bite I thought to myself that I could have prepared better shrimp and grits! The slab of salmon arrived on a white plate....that's it...no lemon, no garnish of any kind. Think about how that looked...just a piece of pink fish sitting in the middle of a white plate. It had to be the most unappealing dish I have ever seen served in a restaurant. If salmon was served in a correctional institution, I imagine that's how it would be presented to the inmates. The person who ordered the chicken pot pie said it was good, but I have my doubts. I was treating, what else would he have said. Just a tremendously disappointing experience. I have lived in Atlanta for thirty years and have eaten in just about every great restaurant in the city. I have never before left a restaurant feeling like I needed to let folks know that there are sooo many better places to enjoy a meal. Don't go here!
