Just Eat Nabs Greggs Delivery After £5.9 Billion Takeaway.com Deal | Eater London
"This long-established UK bakery chain has ended a Deliveroo delivery trial and instead launched a delivery partnership with Just Eat, building on successful 2019 trials and growing demand for its vegan versions. Top-selling delivery items include the sausage roll, vegan sausage roll and the steak bake, and initial coverage will include London, Bristol, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow with a £1.50 delivery fee — prompting customers to order multiples to spread the cost. The timing reflects broader market dynamics: Just Eat has strengthened after a protracted £5.9 billion deal with Takeaway.com, while Deliveroo’s position has been undermined by an Amazon investment that is under Competition and Markets Authority scrutiny and has constrained its ability to raise capital." - James Hansen
Looking for value and taste Gregg’s has it.
Sausage roll, a Belgian bun and coffee were great!
They actually have great meal deals … I’m a “tourist” so paying equivalent to $10 aud for a coffee seems a bit expensive… but I was pleasantly surprised when I had a Gregg’s coffee, only wish I found them sooner!

The most slowest service I have ever seen in my life this morning,
One lady was just walking around like she didn’t know what to do and the queue was long and people in the morning are rushing to work and she comes on the till with the most bothered face ever starts talking with her colleagues and then while serving stops and looks at the other till and what the other customer is saying instead of serving her own.
This was utterly unprofessional behaviour.

Don't bother going here it's a rip off!! I ordered a chicken tikka baguette 🥖. The whole baguette was stuffed with lettuce and just a tiny amount of the so called chicken Tikka. It was just enough to cover the lettuce! So it looked like it was packed with chicken Tikka, The price was £2.10. I wouldn't have minded paying that at all if it had a fair amount of chicken Tikka! but my goodness me I SHALL NOT BE GOING THERE AGAIN!! WHAT AN ABSOLUTE RIPP OFF. The shop ought to be done under the trading standards, it was disgusting. I was about to take it back but my wife said leave it don't bother, Hence this review. I will not be going into Greggs again. This is the second time I've had a bad experience in Greggs. Is my experience trying to tell me something. Well yes it is! I shall not be going into one of their shops again. What a waste of money that was.

A huge range of products and bakes, tried latte and the coffee taste was good and strong.
Quick service, prices are reasonable, friendly staff.

Came into this branch of Greggs for a quick bite on the way to Victoria Square. This branch serves the much publicised Vegan Sausage roll, something I now really enjoy. Other than that, it's the usual Greggs, cheap and cheerful, and friendly service too.

Greggs is a classic. Their bakes are generally consistent in quality and taste. Prices are also quite reasonable. Highly recommended.

Very pleasant service on my morning visit (Armistice Day).
Bacon roll, latte and half litre of orange juice for under £4.50. Nearby global coffee shops can charge that price for a large coffee.
Great value for money.

Yelp
I can't pass up a pumpkin latte! The sign outside said pumpkin latte 2.95 so of course I had to try one. It was good too just the way I like it, not too sweet.
I found my first Greggs in London across from my hotel. When I got to Litchfield, this one was right downtown and the perfect spot to stop every morning. They're famous for their sausage rolls. I didn't try one, but they did have fresh baked croissants and pastries, and the croissants were pretty good.

Yelp
They do not heat up their Cajun rice for their customers, even though the packaging has in structions on how to at the back. They don't provide ground pepper for their soups.

Yelp
Great service, nice hot pizza right out of the oven. The hot shots slices are my favorite. Great cappuccino as well.

Yelp
They have a good number of vegan-friendly pastries now! Including a vegan sausage roll that I had that was quite tasty, and pretty inexpensive. A lot of their baked goods look delicious and some of those are vegan, too. Wish I had time to try more of them! Most everything contains gluten, though, and while I've been able to have gluten in the UK and Europe, not everyone can do that.

Yelp
The sandwiches and sweet stuff are great but be warned that most of the hot food is not suitable for vegetarians as it is put in the oven with non-veg food.

Yelp
Greggs pasties are delicious and a reasonable selection to choose from! The main thing Im not keen on is their 'crusty' ready made rolls,(ham or cheese),being stored in the chiller! This takes away the 'crusty' and replaces it with 'chewy'! By putting them in the chiller,it creates a reaction that softens the rolls, hence giving them a chewy texture! So should they be sold as a discription of crusty, when they are not?

Yelp
they have a good range of sandwiches but the baguettes are the best especially the chicken and bacon, and the chicken and sweetcorn ones. Also the chees and onion opasties are the best i have ever tasted and the hot soup especially the leek and potato are great on a cold miserable day. but the range of cakes and deserts are not the best.
