"Another great Greek option in the neighborhood is Gregory’s Corner Taverna on 23rd Avenue. They have their typical red-checkered tablecloth outdoor seating available every day for lunch and dinner. "We like Gregory’s 26 Corner Taverna for several reasons. It’s where you’ll find some of the best Greek food in the city, and it also looks like a small house you’d find within walking distance of the Mediterranean. It’s filled with model ships and paintings of coastal scenes, the service is friendly, and when you ask what kind of wine they have, you’ll probably get a response like, “Red and white.” It’s a charming spot with very good seafood, souvlaki, and lemon potatoes." - hannah albertine, bryan kim, matt tervooren
"Part of the reason why we like Gregory’s is because it feels like the home of someone who’s been to Greece many times and always brings back at least seven souvenirs. It’s a small space, decorated with seashells, flags, model boats, and various paintings of seaside scenes on what appear to be Greek islands. And the other reason why we like this place is for the delicious, straightforward food.
