Google
Certainly not bad, but I probably should be giving 1 star because the chicken pita had a few bones in it. A handheld meal shouldn't have bones - especially chicken bones. The beef pita was better but the tzatziki wasn't distributed well. Meat was good enough - definitely understand that it isn't gyro style meat. The family potatoes were okay - a bit bland. Mostly just lemon flavor. Staff were friendly, but we won't return.

Google
LOVIT ! Apps came before we even sat down. we ordered several items and all were fantastic. The Acropolis Ale washes it down wonderfully. Fast friendly service and the food is distinct and fresh. This is authentic fare and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is clean and spacious but nothing special. We absolutely loved the food. Lamb, lemon family potatoes and beef skewers were our faves. We’ll be back !

Google
I really hope a GM or owner sees this, b/c I kid you not every time I’ve come here, I’ve had really nice customer service. Today for example, I arrived a little too early for my takeout. I told the guy at the bar I would just wait in my car and come back at the time he gave me. (He was tall caramel tone skin with curly black hair…so management can acknowledge him) About 10 minutes later, I’m sitting in my car, and there he was with my takeout. Yes it was a small gesture but he didn’t have to do that, and I appreciated it so much! Oh and how could I forget the food…it’s sooooo good. I saw a review complaining about finding “bones” in their chicken but that just speaks to the freshness of their protein. Fresh shredded roasted chicken on your salad hits every time! Please continue to or start to support this business! They’re really great! 💙💛

Google
Had the swordfish pita. Pita bread was top notch, the vegetables were cooked grilled fresh you can see in the picture. Swordfish chunks grilled nicely. Backlava was good. For Nashville places and prices this was a good quick lunch with high quality food and fresh taste. $14 pita $5 for backlava

Google
Healthy and well prepared with graceful attention to service. I've walked in this place approximately 7-9 times, and every single time, there's not a missing employee anywhere. They are all accounted for and making sure your service is beyond what you already expect. You ask, and this establishment delivers. Hopefully, nothing depreciates over time to cut corners and cost down, unlike any lot of noticeable locations in the same strip road. I was so impressed on my last return I realized I needed to review this place out of courtesy for having been as many times at this point and realizing how much better it tastes every time I return. Highly highly recommend this Gem!

Google
I ordered the rice bowl, add shredded chicken. My boyfriend got the 1/2 chicken with fries. Both were good. A bit of a pricey lunch at $42 for 2 people. Both drank tap water.

Google
Great service. Great Restaurant. Excellent food. Best steak salad ever. Octopus skewer was so tender and delicious. Atmosphere was vibing.

Google
Great Greek food! My wife got the Athenian Chicken which was so tender and had a great lemon flavor. I got the Monastriaki-style beef which was sizeable and some of the best I've had. We shared a bowl of Chicken soup. All in all, everything was excellent. Great atmosphere and decor. We will be back!

Yelp
GReKo Greek Street Food brings a delightful taste of Greece to the heart of Nashville. Their casual, walk-up counter service makes for a quick and easy dining experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, happily answering our questions about the menu. We tried the Chicken Pita and the GReKo Street Fries, and both were fantastic. The pita was fresh and grilled to perfection, filled with juicy chicken, crisp vegetables, and a creamy tzatziki sauce. The perfect blend of flavors! The fries were a unique twist on a classic, with a generous sprinkling of oregano and tangy mizithra cheese. The restaurant itself has a charming atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating options. It's the perfect spot for a casual lunch or a light dinner. If you're craving authentic Greek flavors in a laid-back setting, GReKo Greek Street Food is a must-try! Yelp
Not good. I got the Greek salad with lamb which honestly I am convinced I could have made it better in my schools dining hall. The lamb was suspicious looking from the get go and was almost all fat/gristle. The dressing tasted like ranch and did not resemble anything I've ever seen on Greek food before. The tomatoes and cucumbers were at least fresh, but there were so few of them and they were spoiled by the very strange aftertaste that the entire salad took on. The pita was insanely soggy and gross to even pick up. I will not be returning and it definitely was not worth the $23 I paid for it. What a let down.

Yelp
I went to this place after hearing they had gluten free options. I really felt taken care of and they had patience with all my questions. I got the chicken street fries and they were INCREDIBLE! Everyone else in my party was also thrilled with their choices. Portions are huge!

Yelp
This place is great, plane and simple. Everything here seems to be light and fresh. There meats are cooked to perfection and pack some serious flavor. Portions are pretty good, food comes out fast and dinning is a relaxed go at your own pace kinda vibe.

Yelp
Such a cute place in East Nashville! Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, friendly service. We ordered the pork and beef pita sandwiches with potato and fries as our sides. Also got a baklava for dessert. All were super fresh and delicious, especially the pork and the baklava. Only thing that I would not order again are the potatoes as they tasted like standard boiled potatoes in lemon olive oil. Parking limited out front, but there's plenty of street parking nearby.

Yelp
I've been to Greko twice in the last month, and I think this spot is well on its way to becoming my go-to. It's soo hard to find restaurants with fresh, healthy options that also offer takeout, but Greko really is out here doing the damn thing. On my most recent visit, I stopped in around 8:30 and placed an order to-go. Normally I hate coming into a restaurant the hour before they close, but Greko was still relatively busy with folks dining in, and the cashier kindly assured me it was no problem. I've had their chicken and shrimp before and enjoyed both, but I love that Greko also offers a robust vegetarian option. This time around, I went with the Veg Bowl, with extra veggies. i also added a side of pita - and they serve it cut into triangles, which makes dipping oh-so easy. My bowl was just what I was craving - fresh and hearty, full of grilled veggies and topped with a creamy tzatziki sauce. The only thing I'd adjust for next time is adding an extra side of that sauce! You also get a good amount of food for the price. A big thank you to the Greko team for making sure East Nashville has healthy and satisfying options! I'm excited to continue exploring their menu.

Yelp
This place is amazing! Parking: can be tricky at times because the plaza does get packed. Most times I've gotten lucky but if you are going around a busy time you might have to get creative Staff: so nice! Idk if it's the owner or one of their managers but every time I've been there he makes it a point to check on the table and start a conversation. You can tell he really cares about this place. Food: honestly so delicious. Ingredients always fresh and you can indulge or keep it healthy depending on your mood. They also serve these local seltzers (non alcoholic) that are amazing. They have bar style seating or regular tables to sit in, super casual, quick but quality grab and go. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
As a Greek person from NJ, I was really hoping I'd find a great Greek restaurant down here in Nashville. I want to love GReKo, but the prices and portion size turned me off on my visit. The amount of souvlaki meat included in the entree definitely did not scale to the size of the rice and veggie bowl, though the meat was flavorful. The rice and veggies were unremarkable though, it really needed more meat to be worth the price. I'll come back and try something else off the menu, I've heard from friends that the salads are great!

Yelp
We might have ordered too much food but we have no regrets! It was absolutely delicious. We had the lamb bowl, Greko salad, sampler & the baklava. All of it was perfection. We have had other Greek food but this by far has been the best! Very fresh & love the fact that they serve pasture raised lamb. The staff was very attentive. Great customer service. Cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
A friend took me to Greko Greek Street Food on a recent trip to Nashville. The worst part about the whole experience was facing the reality that I live too far away to eat here often. The food was FRESH and packed with flavor. I felt great after eating it. The portions are huge and nutritious. My husband and I split a chicken rice bowl and some fresh pita. I wish I would've been able to try more. It all sounded so good. There were tons of options! The restaurant smelled absolutely amazing. The service was great and the staff was helpful and kind. The murals on the wall are so cool and the whole vibe of the restaurant is just really fun. There is a little lot, but it was full, so we parked across the street. Bathrooms were clean. Highly, highly recommend a visit to Greko!

Yelp
We found this restaurant by mistake. We were actually looking dor east park donuts and coffee, they were closed. As we stood in the corner, the scent of fresh oregano was in the air and when we looked, it was coming from Greko, thus we realized we stumbled into a Greek restaurant. Sadly, no donuts but we found dinner! We order the shrimp bowl, chicken bowl, lam bowl and octopus bowl. Each one is served in a deep bowl, you can choose rice and grilled veggies or just salad. Either way, there no arguments, the proteins are well seasoned and grilled, we also order a greek sampler which was very good. Overall great service, food was served within 15 minutes of placing the order. Great ambiance, friendly staff all around!

Yelp
Waited 20 minutes for 2 small rice bowls to go, during a time when it wasn't busy. One of the items had the wrong meat (and almost none) and the other was the completely wrong order (pita sandwich). I was taking the food to go, so I left a smaller tip; I think the rude service and neglect to prepare my order (until I went to the counter and asked), was because they may have wanted a bigger tip. Will not be going back!

Yelp
This reminds me a lot of Chipotle but with better food and options. We caught a quick meal here prior to the preds game this week in search of healthier options. We both ordered salads and added a beef souvlaki. I added lamb to mine and my friend added the chicken. The lamb was really good and cooked well done but still was very tasty and still tender. The chicken wasn't anything special, just a basic roast chicken and added to the bowl. I liked the salad enough that I (mostly) replicated it at home for healthier meal options It was really filling with the crispy chick peas really filling out the dish. I wasn't a big fan of the souvlaki and didn't know I was essentially ordering a sausage link. It was okay didn't represent the same value as the salad. In a heads up competition between chipotle and Greko I'd choose Greko every time. Similar price points but better food.

Yelp
Do you want quality Greek Food in/around Nashville, this is your place! The potatoes were overwhelmingly flavored with lemon, just way too much. The Tzatziki was perfect, I love it super garlicky. I ordered the Athenian Chicken with a side of salad however I recieved a chicken salad, guess the rude cashier was too busy not doing his job to get my order right. The salad was good, too bad they didn't bus the plates and kept piling them onto the table, kinda hard to eat comfortably. The Baklava was divine and I took it home, table being crowded and all. To be noted they do not seem to take bills bigger than a $20 so come prepared or avoid the lecture and pay with a card. Overall good food, shitty service, and poor ambiance due to the shitty service. I'd consider carryout.

Yelp
Surprisingly great and authentic Greek food. Near No Quarter arcade for a post meal playtime.

Yelp
Solid 5 Again in East Nashville. This place even has off street parking that is easily accessible!!! We had the chicken salad and the veggie/rice bowls. We could have easily split either. Both were fresh, and delicious. Order at the counter and it's brought to your table. There were a lot of to-go delivery orders on the counter, I can see why. It's a great take out place as well.
google avatar

Yelp
We visit here every time we're in Nashville. Everything on the menu is fantastic, the service is great. A must try if you're close by.
google avatar

Julia R.

Yelp
Really liked their lamb gyro!! Very authentic Greek. Good service. They have a big patio and lots of options!
google avatar

Jasmine C.

Yelp
First time here after seeing several people posting about it on Instagram. GReKo is small in size, but has a lot of love to give from the taste of the food. The cashier was extremely helpful in helping me make a decision on what to order. They had a pleasant attitude which ranks them high in customer service! I regret not trying the baklava. Then again when you've been stuffed on the first visit they leave you no choice but to return and try something new...." Only complaint I have is that the lamb I ordered on my fries weren't as seasoned and semi dry as if it had been over cooked.
google avatar

Blake M.

Yelp
The place is pretty small, and popular. We got ours to go with some modifications, that to be fair were met. However they got the two other (chicken) bowls wrong . When we got home we noticed they were plain rice bowls, when we had specifically ordered the Chicken bowls. I called back and the individual I spoke with offered to provide us with some chicken if we came back up. I'd eat there again but definitely check my to go before leaving the place.
google avatar

Rylie L.

Yelp
I got the greek salad with shrimp (skewer came with onion and bell peppers). It was SO good! The shrimp was seasoned perfectly and very juicy. The dressing was very good and the chickpeas were a nice touch. Only thing stopping me from a 5 star is the fact they were out of lamb gyros at lunch time! I was so excited to try the gyro here and I decided to go around 11 and they were out. I got my food to go and it took a little while but they had so many to go orders so it made sense. I will go back to try the lamb! Hopefully they have it next time!!

Courtney R.

Yelp
Please allow people to do white meat only. I genuinely want to like this place. I live across the street and this is the second time coming here. The veggies are great but the chicken is a total let down. The rotisserie behind the register gives you hope it's gonna be amazing and I'm sure if you could get white meat it could be, but getting slimy pieces of chicken fat/skin and purple colored chicken just isn't appealing or appetizing.
google avatar

Doug E.

Yelp
Ordered take out during rush hour lunch on a Friday, and it was so great! We ordered the chicken rice bowl and lamb pita. The lamb was super tender and the pita was soft, warm, and delicious. The chicken was tasty and the bowl had some of the freshest veggies I've had in Nashville. I docked a star for the rice, but it was still good! Order was ready for pick up on time. Definitely going back.
google avatar

Cashea S.

Yelp
This wasn't our first trip here as we come every couple months when in town. The food is always good and worth trying some thing new each time. They do not have a massive menu, but everything on the menu is tasty. The portions are large and you won't leave hungry. My only complaint for this trip is that the paper cups they use get so wet they actually start to fold down while eating. It's like my drink will leak out of the cup not long into eating. Other than that, the staff are always friendly and the place is always clean. There is somewhat limited parking, but on weekends at lunch it has never been an issue. We've never had a bad visit here!
google avatar

Nick W.

Yelp
Super Quality service! I used a food delivery app and had my food taken by the driver of said food delivery service. It was ordered an hour before and crept towards closing time and even with me calling about that order near closing, I had it delivered by an employee that had just gotten off their shift. Very much appreciated as I'd just moved to the neighborhood. Oh yeah, and the food is super tasty too!
google avatar

Jo W.

Yelp
Went here for the first time today. The service was amazing, the ambiance is cute, and there's plenty of seating. They have free parking out front. My husband and I got pita's. I got the chicken and he got the swordfish. We also got the hummus and pita, a side of rice, and the village salad. The food was good and very fresh. We both thought it could use a little more seasoning on all of the food we chose. Overall we would definitely come back here!
google avatar

Megan G.

Yelp
This place has great portion sizes! I ordered the Athenian Chicken with fries which was well seasoned! I also tried the chicken soup which had fresh kale and flavor, but it was missing some salt in my opinion. My husband had the shrimp rice bowl which looked amazing as well. The drinks are reasonably priced as well. There is some seating inside, but it might get full during busier hours. All of the staff was extremely nice. Definitely stop by for some great mediterranean food!

Morgan L.

Yelp
Really great food! My Greek husband really liked it. Wish they also served spanakopita The lamb was great in their salad also. Can't wait to try again!
google avatar

Yelp
We came here after Hawkers next door had an hour long wait. We LOVE Greek food and this place was refreshingly cheap! It was pretty busy but we were able to grab the last table at the window. Simple set up. You walk in and the menu is on the left. Order at the register and grab a seat. We asked the cashier for a recommendation but she said she just started a few days ago. Athenian chicken 3/5 - chicken was cooked well but the sauce was SO overpowering. The honey-lemon sauce ended up tasting like mustard and not very pleasant. It was drenched over all the fries too Loaded fries - 5/5 the chicken and tzatziki were perfect I definitely ordered the wrong thing (Athenian chicken). I saw they have a feta spread so we'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
google avatar

Yelp
I grabbed Greko to go for a quick lunch at my friends house and overall, I was really happy with the quality of food! To start, I got the chicken pita. This was incredible! 10/10 I would get this again. The sauce inside was creamy and flavorful. The chicken was very soft. Additionally the pita and veggies were fresh as well. I didn't get a chance to eat this until about after an hour, and I was pleased that it didn't even get soggy. I got the Greko salad on the side. They used the same sauce as the pita. I was hoping for something a little more refreshing and less creamy, but that's just a personal choice. All in all, the salad was well built with chickpeas, feta, olives, and fresh veggies. I also tried their hummus. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by this dish. I had high hopes but the hummus tasted bland and hard. I would not order it again. In sum, I loved Greko's chicken pita and will be back to eat it again!

Shawn W.

Yelp
Ordered Hummus. Got a Dixie cup size serving and a few pieces of Pita for $5. Note to self. Don't order again. Tastes good tho. Ordered the Greko salad add chicken which I just arrived at work to find missing the green onions and kalamata olives. Otherwise, it's good. Ordered a chicken bowl and will have that tonight. Very good food, but for the prices we pay these days it gets me when I am missing things from my order.

Maria P.

Yelp
El lugar estaba bonito y limpio , el hambre te agradable , la comida buena y barata .
google avatar

Andrea W.

Yelp
Came here on a weekday evening for dinner, no gyro which I thought was surprising. I had the pork with salad, was disappointed to find pretty fatty pork and just one skewer of it with the salad. Salad had a creamy sauce, really good chickpeas (either baked or fried, not sure), olives and really fresh ingredients in general. Good portions of that, but I really wish there were more (non-fatty) meat. Not too many people when I came, place was clean and chill. $14 post-tax.
google avatar

Dagan B.

Yelp
Well, my first time here, and I got a wide variety to see what I like. All the dips were fresh and none were bad. The tzatziki stood out with fresh herbs and little chunks of cucumber, The pork souvlaki was the best. The octopus needed an overnight marinade to be more tender. The beef was bad, it had a weird flavor. The Lamb was not bad but needed to be slices instead of chopped bits. Not bad, it was different. I just prefer good hot tender gyro meet. But the dips were fresh and good. Tzatziki 4.5 feta dip 3.5 hummus 3.5 Souvlaki beef 2.5 pork 4 octopus 3 lamb on the side 3.5
google avatar

Derrick B.

Yelp
Really good food; however, I wasn't overtly excited about my meal. While it was good, there wasn't a lot of lamb inside and the few pieces that were there were somewhat fatty, which typically represents cheaper cuts of the meat. Price of $11 would be fair if there was more quality cuts of lamb inside. I'll likely try it again as I love greek food but will try something else.
google avatar

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
I ate here with a large group of friends- the patio and fast casual nature are good for groups. We really enjoyed sharing the street fries, and my salad was fresh and tasty as well. The ambience of the fenced-in outdoor patio was really lovely, with lights and tree coverage that kept us cool on a summer evening.
google avatar

Kendall R.

Yelp
Every review mentions ample parking, but know that ample parking in east Nashville means total 20 spots. I had a really difficult time trying to park here on a Sunday night and unfortunately there is no street parking. I had to circle a few times which was frustrating. I ordered a beef skewer which was really good and a side of potatoes. The potatoes were good, but there was a ton of lemon juice. I love lemon but it was a bit much for me. They have a really nice outdoor patio with plenty of tables, but be warned to wear flat shoes because the garden is full of mid sized rocks which was tricky to walk in without sinking.
google avatar

Michelle G.

Yelp
We ordered from Greko from an app. The food is fresh and amazing and tastes home made. Loved the chicken soup, 1/2 roasted chicken, and the potatoes. Delicious and I'll be ordering again.

Ant O.

Yelp
Until Saturday 4/6, my last visit was over a year ago. I had taken a while to come back because the last time wasn't the best experience. I'm really glad I gave them a second chance, as the meal was great, and the entire team and manager were delivering excellent service. Whoever is leading the team now is doing a great job and I hope they keep doing what they're doing.
google avatar

Nicolette T.

Yelp
This place is awesome. Greko serves up some great Mediterranean flavors. Everything is simple, clean, fresh, no frills. Their hummus and tzatziki are ridiculous. Their meat is well cooked, and all the toppings/veggies are excellent. I always leave feeling great. This place is so tasty, and a great quick & casual meal.
google avatar

Janella L.

Yelp
6/18/22 update: Womp womp pork souvlaki 4-pack went from $13 to $19 :( I know inflation is happening but that's greater than 9% inflation for that price increase. It's up 50% noooooo I stand by my original post though that Greko is always on point for flavor just might not be affordable now
google avatar

Caitlin E.

Yelp
I have yet to find a local game in Nashville with this quality health and freshness at this price with a perfect comfortable vibe. The hang, the energy and service is great too! Hope it can remain a local staple forever!
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
This place is a wonderful, fast casual restaurant with a modern, laid back vibe. The food is fresh and tasty. You order at the counter and they bring your food out. Don't sleep on the octopus and tiger shrimp souvlaki. Both are fresh, grilled to perfection treats. I had the Main Street rice bowl with lamb and it was great. My dining companions had the pork and lamb pitas and were very happy with each.
google avatar

Yelp
www.grekostreetfood Best Greek food in The States! Lamb pita handmade fresh (pita bread too!) delish & gone took quick for pic. Everything hand made.Tsadziki best I've ever had. Owner Jason & staff (hey Shaun) fantastic Ps- prices so reasonable + food way bigger than pics!

Yelp
The Best in Nash! Featured on Cooking Channel and it delivered! Walter was awesome excellent service

Yelp
SO GOOD! My fave is their Greek salad and their chicken soup. The hummus is very good as well.

Kevin W.

Yelp
Cannot say enough good about Greko - I recently moved out of Nashville and it is easily the spot I miss most. The management and staff are attentive, quick and genuinely seem happy to be at work. It's no surprise the food they make blows expectation. Best Greek I've had - lamb and octopus souvlaki are killer - in pita, a bowl, or stand-alone. I hope to make it back soon. Support this business !
google avatar

Megan Z.

Yelp
Great variety, prices, and food! There is a beautiful outdoor patio behind the restaurants. You order your food at the counter and within a few minutes they'll bring it out for you! The quality of the ingredients you get for the price is amazing! I got a chicken gyro and Greek salad. I would have given this meal 5 stars, but I felt that the chicken could have used some more seasoning for added flavor. Overall it was a great meal and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
google avatar

Brannon D.

Yelp
Used to love this place but 50% of the time they get my order wrong. Typically it's leaving protein off of a bowl, which seems like a wild mistake to make. If you go here, don't get it to go, and since you can get it to go, expect to wait 30+ min for food.
