Grenade - Resto-bar et terrasse

The restaurant has a nice decor and a good size terrace. Unfortunately there was a lot of smoke because of the forest fires so we decided to have a table inside the restaurant. I had the teriyaki poutine, but it was too salty for me. My friends ordered tartar and poke bowls and they enjoyed their dishes. We had very friendly service and I appreciated the attention that the waitress gave us.

A very cozy casual restaurant bar. Cocktails and food are good (one thing I have to point out is there vegetables tempura, it was a little bit mediocre, it was just some sweet potato fries with a mixed of vegetables strips). I was more looking forward the vegetables tempura closed to the Japanese cuisine one (with big pieces of fried vegetables). And the fried calamari was a little bit chewy. The restaurant bar has a nice decoration (a mixed of eastern to western style). We did enjoyed the drinks. The waitress was very friendly. She had recommended us a few items on the menu. This is a good place to hang out with friends with some good beer and cocktails.

We recently hosted our wedding reception for 40 people at Grenade Bar, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue. The atmosphere at Grenade Bar is simply outstanding. The cozy ambiance made our guests feel right at home. Whether they were mingling at the bar or dancing on the dance floor, everyone felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the night. We were well aware of how amazing the food served at Grenade Bar is, but it exceeded our guests' expectations in every way. From the appetizers to the main courses, every dish was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. Our guests are still raving about the delicious cuisine! The music selection was another highlight of the evening. It added an extra layer of fun and excitement to the festivities. However, what truly set Grenade Bar apart was the impeccable service we received throughout the planning process and on the day of our event. In particular, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the bar manager, Ludo. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine kindness made all the difference. From coordinating with us and catering to our special requests prior to the event to ensuring that every guest had a drink in hand and food on their plate during the reception, Ludo went above and beyond to make sure that our wedding party was flawless from start to finish. All in all, we cannot recommend Grenade Bar highly enough for anyone looking for the perfect venue for their special day. With its excellent atmosphere, delicious food, fantastic music, and top-notch service, Grenade Bar delivered our in every way. Thank you to Ludo and the entire team for helping to make our wedding reception an unforgettable experience.

The place looks a bit odd from the outside but when you walk, it is a totally different story. You'll be transported in A European setting, especially if you go on the rear patio. The food is finger style and absolutely exquisite. Even the simplest poutine is a visual treat. The taste, oh my god. And the rest of the plates are amazing. We've gone there several times already and can't wait to go back. Cheers to you guys Grenade team.

We went there for a girls' night on Saturday but we have mixed feelings about our experience. The bar is nice with a cool decoration and the music is not loud. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and they came multiple times to check on us. Our waitress did a great job. On the other hand, the food and drinks were disappointing. We had 4 cocktails, the bao and the ramens. The cocktails were ok (3/5) but we wouldn't come back for them. My friend said the bao was ok but the Ramen was bad (1/5). I lost 25$. Finally, I don't think we will come back because the food and cocktails were average and pricey but this is just our taste.

Pet peave: 2 couples ordering tapas to share. They arrive with 3 on each plate. Message to server and / or kitchen. Offer 4 at 30 % higher price. Let the customers make the choice. Tapas were great! Just hated fighting over them.
