"For starters, the location right on the square known by locals as "Stachus" is nothing short of exclusive. GRETA OTO is housed within the luxurious and contemporary new Königshof hotel, on the ninth floor to be precise, affording fantastic views of the city of Munich and the Frauenkirche. The restaurant is no less chic and sophisticated than the hotel itself. Calm warm hues and dimmed lighting create an intimate atmosphere. The cuisine is Latin American with modern international influences, from Peruvian ceviche to Brazilian fillet steak and grilled octopus. The wine list to accompany the food is international. Tip: They have a private table – "La Mesa" – that you can book for special occasions. There is also a bar and a lounge terrace." - Michelin Inspector

Incredible food! Amazing service. Loved it all. A little annoying that we hadn’t even finished our food and we were told to move elsewhere as our time was up at that table even though food had taken forever to come. Which is fine we were chatting but there wasn’t even time to get a desert. & I’m pretty sure that when booking we hadn’t been told you have a limited time at the table. Anyway the food and drinks were incredible and we moved to the terrace after and it was luckily nice out and nice vibes.

Interesting concept with priceless views of Munich. The tossed beef tartar was a full 10/10. Also, special mention to the desserts. The marisco cocktail is borderline a waste of money - I personally found it the quality-price ratio unbalanced. Also, the ribs were pretty decent - the softness of the meat was something to acknowledge. In terms of service, the waiter was really attentive. Basically, the prices (which yes, the estimation of 100€ per person is accurate) are more justified because of the location and its views rather than the food, per se.

Tried Dinner, drinks and breakfast here. While it’s not perfect we enjoyed the flavors of dinner and array at breakfast. The South American dinner was pre red very well and delicious flavors. Overall dinner was a little expensive but great food. Drinks on the balcony were excellent with nice views. Breakfast was very good with mix of buffet and ordering from menu. Good service and wide selection. Again a little expensive but worth it.

Incredible dining experience! The views the food and the service! Wow not to be missed absolutely recommended!! Sea bass ceviche, the beef tartar and the ribs are what I recommend The dessert was top notch

Perfect service with server named Kingsly. Food is imaginative and very tasty. Sadly, we were late for the restaurant, so we have had a light bite. A bit akward begining with a hostes, but server accomodated our needs later on.

This is a rather stylish bar for cocktails, but the experience is underwhelming for the price you pay. While the hotel staff is friendly and professional, the bar staff lacks the same level of experience and warmth. Though it’s still a new place, surprise there is no lead bar tender behind the bar. Service is slow, and the ambiance, though elegant, it’s not vibrant. And the one dessert dish that we tried was undercooked. Compares to the other hotel bars around in Munich such as Ory Bar at Mandarin, it has definitely room to improve.

Sophisticated yet intimate bar space situated on the 9th floor which an outdoor terrace offers spectacular views over Karlsplatz Menu offers a range of both signature cool-twist (Greta Oto Sour is very bold yet pleasantly fruity) as well as beloved classics. Service can be a little slow, but definitely a place to enjoy a cleverly crafted drink…if you get a seat, as they are quite in demand and limited, as no RSVP available.

We had a reservation and they didn’t want to sit us besides we had a reservation (outside), it was raining and they said inside it’s fully booked. After some discussion they found a table for us (50% of restaurant was empty). Also they said it was not allowed to take photos in a restaurant… nonsense. I’ve never experienced such bad service.
