Grezzo was such a nice little shop! My husband and I both had the mandorla con café (with their own espresso in the flavor). It was incredible, so creamy and the perfect amount of sweetness. The woman working was so helpful when it came to picking out truffles to take with us. The chocolate was rich, decadent and the perfect amount of sweetness. We only wish we discovered this place before our last day in Rome. 1000/10, would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet ice cream shop in a beautiful Piazza.

We visited Grezzo Raw Chocolate and tried their ice cream and a hazelnut dessert called “Emblema.” The ice cream was really nice, smooth and rich in flavour. On the other hand, the hazelnut dessert was a bit too intense for me. The hazelnut taste was very strong, and after a few bites, it became overwhelming. Still, it's a good spot if you enjoy vegan, raw, rich desserts and want to try something different.

Great gelato. Tasted like frozen pistacio butter. Dident look at the ingredients but im sure they used quality whole foods for it

Small sweets shop making vegan dreams come true. Small seating area, friendly staff spoke English and the most delicious treats. Well worth the higher prices for the taste, craftsmanship and quality. Highly recommend! I’m still dreaming of the salted caramel gelato

Ordered the almond, pistachio, chocolate and hazelnut scoop of ice cream. All vegan, all tasted amazing. It’s really refreshing to see no artificial flavourings and colourings. These colours are normal, but the flavours were REAL, it is what you want from an ice cream. Definitely one of the best ice cream spots in Italy. I also ordered a coconut/pineapple/date shake too. Really refreshing.

The most delicious chocolates and coffees! My husband is not vegan and he loved his piece of chocolate and Americano with almond milk. I also had an americano and a chocolate that had pumpkin(I think it was called a zucchini), get it! It was amazing !

The best hazelnut gelato that I have ever had, we kept coming back to this place just for that ! Without a doubt one the best in the city !

Everything here is vegan, which isn't important to me, but my mom really wanted Gelato in Rome and she can't do dairy. The Gelato was delicious. We also tried the Raw chocolate chip cookie but it wasn't amazing. The chocolates looked delicious but we didn't try them. If you can't have regular gelato, or are looking for dairy/gluten free/sugar free options, give this a try!

I got the pistachio gelato, which tasted pretty normal for being vegan. For 3€, it was definitely on the pricier side though.

Really REALLY good gelato & it's vegan! I wouldn't have even known that the gelato was vegan unless the employee let us know because it is seriously that good. The store was super cute & everyone was very friendly :) Their mango gelato is 10/10

How can you not even 5-star raw chocolate that comes without its evil, nasty, stomach irritating cousin dairy?! They have mousse, chocolate treats, and even little rich cakes to take away and share with your posh friends. All with rich, lovely ingredients you can pronounce like: almonds, coconut oil, agave...yes! If you need to splurge on chocolate, this is the place to do it.

Small place, very cool. The location is nice, near to many stores. The ice cream is delicious and the staff is very friendly.

I don't think Five stars enough my wife and I fell in love here. Everything is gluten free and everything is amazing. We went here 3 out of 4 nights in Rome. We couldn't get enough. You must stop here and enjoy their treats.

The place is amazing....IF you aren't highly allergic to cashews or pistachios. After eating the chocolate and mixed berry gelato (something you would think has zero cashews or pistachios), my wife got extremely sick and almost need hospital attention (sweating, vomiting, nose running profusely) due to how they add creaminess to the ice cream. I only found this out by searching on their website and looking directly into the nutrition contents of the gelato. Its advertised in store as just "almond milk" but has cashews and pistachios added as well, a very highly sensitive allergen to some people- enough to hospitalize someone. Please add allergen warnings in store. An almond milk gelato should have just that, almonds. Hidden nuts within the recipe can seriously injure someone if not advertised properly. Would be a 5-star if some sort of allergen warning been posted. I, myself, enjoyed the gelato.

Mix friendly service from people proud of their products with delicious food and you have a winning combination. Finding someplace to get dairy-free gelato was a thrill. We just happened to walk past after dining at another establishment on the same street. We were glad we stopped in. I had a small cup of the raw chocolate gelato and my wife had the pistachio. Both were excellent. They had lots of chocolate and other delicious looking desserts on display. Whether or not you are vegan or lactose intolerant, this is well worth the visit.

Grezzo Raw Chocolate is insane. Not only do they have great tasting chocolate, but nearly all other sweets, truffles, miniature cakes and pastries, smoothies and ice cream come in flavors you wouldn't expect, in addition to the traditional kinds. Everything is dairy free, gluten free, and sugar free, made without the use of preservatives, colors, or any other additives. The ingredients used are based on almonds, coconuts, and natural sweeteners and colorants that come from veggies and fruits. All of it processed at low temperatures below 42 degrees Celsius to keep the nutrition and flavor intact. Dolci Freschi, freshly made truffles and mini brownies interchange flavors right before your eyes, as they get bought and consumed, new ones come in their place on display. Rich chocolate brown decor everywhere. Their signature raw chocolate comes from Ecuador and is handmade from sun dried cocoa beans. They also have raw cookies dried for 24 hours at low temperatures. Tavolette di Cioccolato Crudo 50g €5, 100g €10 and has various cocoa content like 40%, 60%, 70%, and 80%. All Smoothies (Frullati) are €6, and there are some amazing varieties I've never came across in the U.S., with ingredients like avocado or dates, just seems quite unusual. As someone with a major sweet tooth and who tries to eat raw, vegan, gluten free and whole foods, I had to stop here when in Rome! I felt their prices and selection were great. I really liked their biscotti - they were dehydrated cookies that came in either coconut or hazelnut and had cacao. I liked both but the hazelnut were really good. I also had a few different raw items out of the case-all great! I had a smoothie- with maca and cacao. That was good but I didn't think worth the price. I would have preferred it a bit thicker and less runny. I didn't try their gelato and am still kicking myself for that!

After eating dinner at a near by restaurant. I walked into Grezzo craving some ice cream. I must admit I was expecting a unique chocolate flavor experience but it wasn't anything to go crazy over. It wasn't bad but it wasn't all I hoped for.

Great for sugar free and all natural people. There is all natural sugar free delectable. Including all natural gelato in the city of sinful food you have found yourself a decadent alternative.

So yummy! The pistachio gelato tasted like I was eating a bowl of pistachios and it could fool any non-vegan. Give it a try

I stumbled upon the store in Torino and have since been manyy times to the one in Milan. Everythinng is great here and I appreciate it being safe for celiacs and that are sensitive to lactose. The flavours are pure and full. The only difficulty here is choosing which is the flavour for you as each delicacy hhere is very different than one another and anything else you've ever had

I really appreciate just walking along and popping into a shop and being pleasantly surprised. Grezzo is a Raw Chocolate bar and everything about this place is just awesome. The staff was super friendly and gave us great service. We went twice while in Rome because it was so delicious. The biggest highlight for me was the chocolate tarts. These little cookie cups filled with liquid chocolate are amazing. We also had the carrot cake, a light and fluffy cake, and a few pieces of chocolate with some nuts. Everything was great and it is a wonderful treat after dinner. I highly recommend checking this place out when you are in Rome!

Passed by after dinner and decided to give this small dessert shop a go. Turns out it's a vegan dessert place! Everything is dairy free, including tiramisu & cheesecake... which to someone who hasn't tried vegan dessert before, it's quite intriguing. I ordered tiramisu which is my favorite Italian dessert. Not too surprising... it's different from the traditional tiramisu as the "cheese" part is now tasted more like tofu... but the texture is close. I prefer my friend's berry cheesecake, it's light and tasty, not too sweet and the portion is just enough to satisfy our sweet tooth. Price wise it's a bit up there but I don't regret giving it a go. If you like lighter and somewhat healthier dessert, you might find this place amazing!

everything I bought was fantastic and my family loved it. The lady was so sweet too and she was soo helpful with whats popular and what she liked. Legit everything we tried as a family was good.

When traveling to Roma make this place a top priority. Words cant even describe how amazing the chocolate is at this amazing place. I've already been here twice this week. I'll try to go a few more times before I leave Roma. I recommend everything here.

Excellent! This chocolate shop was easily the best of all the chocolate shops we visited in Italy. The chocolate itself is nothing short of amazing, and the service is excellent.

The chocolate is incredible. It's dairy free and organic. It's a bit pricey. However, you get what you pay for. You must try to believe!

LOVE how everything is raw, gluten free, and vegan. That may be a turn-off for some people (the lady actually asked us if we knew at the beginning), though what I tried here was great! So yummy

So happy my friend told me about this place!! The hazelnut gelato is some of the best vegan ice cream I've ever had. They are very friendly and it's a nice place to sit. Downsides are 1) no bathroom and 2) very expensive for sweets (gelato was only 4 euro). Stick to the gelato and you'll be good.

The gelato was decent but not amazing. They didn't have a very wide selection of flavors, and you get a tiny amount for the price. I appreciate that everything is gluten-free, but for fellow Celiacs Fatamorgana nearby also has everything GF with much better variety and value.

I was so excited to have something delicious. I had walked by earlier and couldn't wait to return. When I came back a couple hours later, I waited patiently for 10 minutes while the server waited on an Italian couple to make up their mind. While this occurred, another gentlemen walked up. When the couple had finished, the server held up his finger to me and helped the other man. I understand I am a tourist, and I try to be respectful. I felt completely disrespected and left. Very disappointed.

My husband and I stopped by to get some chocolate for my brother since he doesn't eat gluten or dairy and we decided to try their hot chocolate. It was heavenly, prepared with almond milk which they make themselves. My brother said the chocolate we got him was smooth and creamy as well. We love this place! We wish they had stores in America!

Went to Italy for a holiday and by chance walked into Grezzo Raw Chocolate. What an amazing experience. I have NEVER tasted chocolate this GOOD! This is what REAL chocolate taste like. Amazing! I cant even describe the taste because I have never tasted anything similar. The guy behind the counter was super awesome, explaining the different kinds of pure chocolate, etc. very knowledgeable of every aspect of chocolate. I wish we had a store like this in Los Angeles, California....I know it would be a huge success here in the states as well! So, if any of you readers are ever in Rome, go to this place, you will NOT be dissapointed

The most memorable gelato/ice cream experience of my life. Soooo delicious!!! You must experience this place. I came here 3 times during my 2 day stay in Rome... It is so good! And I felt wonderful after every trip here... Unlike just about every other Italian gelato experience (I tend to feel heavy and tired and kind of regret it afterwards). I can't wait to have you in Los Angeles, Grezzo!!!

Raw food, raw chocolate, vegan with good quality ingredients - this place offers a great alternative to the traditional deserts. Although the prices are high all the sweets we tried were absolutely worth each and every cent. The chocolate tart is a must.

I have been introduced to raw chocolate for the first time in New York a few years ago and always prefer it ever since. So clearly I went straight in the moment I saw Grezzo. And it is sublime. The best I have ever tasted. And so is the gelato. Heavenly.

Great location to have a break during a day city visit. Free wifi, not truly a chocolate expertise, this location is proposing different % of chocolate. I might have been wrong on my thoughts when I got in, and was expected a great chocolate experience and just got raw chocolate (not really work).
