"Marie Gricourt's career has already taken her to the heights of Christophe Hay's La Table d'à Côté, where she was head chef. She has since opened her own restaurant, a convivial place in keeping with her personality. In this restaurant not far from the banks of the River Loire, the chef and her mainly female team (who provide service with a smile) put a new twist on bistro-style cuisine, simply and precisely: a surf and turf starter with scallops cradled in a sweet potato, bacon and prune purée; conchiglioni stuffed with beef chuck and porcini; and for dessert a delicious floating island with citrus fruit, honey and pollen." - Michelin Inspector

Fantastic food at Michelin * standard. Attentive service, chef in attendance and great wine list. Highly recommend.

What a gem this restaurant is! Everything was absolutely incredible! The food was beyond delicious! The restaurant was charming and the servers were perfect! The chefs came to our table and explained each dish. If I could clone this restaurant and bring it to California, I would! 😊

Me and my wife went there for our first year anniversary. We didn't want to do a super fancy diner so we opted for a more relaxed, easy going brunch instead. The restaurant is pretty new so we didn't really know what to expect. The good: The food is very very good, there are many options to choose from and as it is a brunch all you can eat, it really is worth your time being there. The bad: When we got there for our 11:30am reservation, we got seated and then we waited 15 minutes... Then the only server finally came and asked us what we wanted to drink (1 fruit juice and 1 hot beverage) and to explain that we could simply serve ourselves whenever we wanted, which we felt like could've been said to us while seating us instead of making us wait. The hot beverage is served at the same time as the juice, so if you start with salty foods and want to keep your coffee or tea or hot chocolate for the dessert, good luck with your now cold beverage. The ugly: There was no dedicated space to dispose of dirty plates, there's only one server so she wasn't really coming to the tables to put dirty plates away, you have to give them to the cooks behind the bar, but they struggled as well because well they were also cooking. There were no special utensils for picking up the food, only regular forks or spoons, so it was complicated at times and I noticed people resorting to using their hands to help themselves. Overall I liked the experience mainly for the food, but the atmosphere and service were a bit rough around the edges, but I guess it's ok since it's a pretty new restaurant and they can only improve moving forward :)
