Had a fantastic dining experience here a few weeks ago! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome friendly, attentive, and just the right mix of laid-back and professional. The food? Absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was packed with flavor and clearly made with care. Our table was line of site to the kitchens line, everyone was working with a purpose, it seemed very organized. It’s not easy to find a spot that nails both service and food, but this place delivered on both fronts. We’ll definitely be back soon, already looking forward to our next meal here!

Google
First time visit and incredibly impressed with the experience. As soon I walked inside, I loved the mid century modern vibes. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful (sorry I can’t call out everyone’s names other than Callie, but I swear they are all excellent). The menu has lots of unique options for food and drink. I tried the zero proof Red Zone Mule and the Cheesy Gridiron Crunch and both tasted great. My favorite was the Ohio Buckeye dessert, because I LOVE peanut butter and this doesn’t disappoint. I’d go back just for that, which I hope is soon.

We came here for dinner before the Nickelback concert. Sat on the patio. Great people watching spot lol. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Food and drinks were very good. When in the area again I would definitely come back.

Excited to go back! Got a chickpea salad , cheesy flatbread, and wings! Spilt with my son! Order came out wrong, Hunter the manager fixed it with no problem! Had to wait for the flatbread, needed a little more flavor, will be going back to try some more items on the menu! That’s for sure! Side note - ranch was on fire 🔥

Came for lunch after visiting the football HOF. ordered the burnt ends, wifey got the chicken and mushroom sandwich and lil man got the kids cheeseburger and fries. Food was good. The burnt ends were more like pork belly pieces in a sweet sauce. I liked it but it probably could have used a lil char. The chicken and mushroom sandwich actually tasted great especially the mustard aoli sauce it comes with. Service was quick and friendly. Very attentive. Was not busy even though it was lunch time. Prices were fair. Inside had plenty of seating. Parking is a tiny lot across the street.

Stopped here after the hall of fame visit! It wasn’t that crowded, a little stale, but the food was delicious. Maybe a bit overpriced, but that’s expected. I got the kimchi beef sliders, with a side of fries. My family all enjoyed their meal too. Overall a 4.5 out of 5 stars!

First time here and enjoyed the great service. The Nashville Chicken sandwich and Smashburger were cooked nicely. Menu is smaller but will return again to try an entree.

Yelp
Canton! Where are you at?? Come support these great new businesses at the Hall of Fame complex (this is why we can't have nice things, minimal support). You can't find anything like this in Canton/Akron... modern, upscale ambiance, with great food and sports centric (huge TV's)... C'mon people. I'll surely be supporting this place every chance I get. Staff is awesome, food is great and beer selection is spot on (lots of local beers). FYI, the Smashburger is amazing!

Yelp
Large restaurant with nice staff. Very open concept and main areas are nice and clean. The bathrooms could be cleaner honestly. It was nearly empty and the food took such a long time and came out as the wrong order. The actual food was mid at best but once again the staff was nice They seem to have a great happy hour and interestingly have THC beverages at the bar. Would I return? Probably not but is it the best option in the dining area for the NFL hall of fame? Yes

Yelp
I was torn between 3 or 4 stars, so I went with 4 for now. I think I would want to go a second time before FULLY forming my opinion on this spot. It's one of the newer additions to Hall of Fame village. Myself and 2 friends arrived at 8pm on a Friday night. They were pretty dead and already starting to clean, but the staff was nice. I ordered the Crunch Wrap as my entrée however it's not what I was expecting. It was more like a Cheesy Gordita Crunch than a Crunch Wrap. Still tasty, but a bit small and not what I was expecting. My friend ordered a cocktail which I tasted and it was refreshingly tasty. My friend and I both ordered the Ohio Buckeye dessert, it was quite delish! We agreed the ice cream included was too small though considering how rich the actual dessert was. The menu has a lot of either items so I think I would go back and try again. Cons: -Parking - if you don't get one of the roughly 10 spots out front, you will be parking in a lot uphill. -Hours - they close at 8pm on weekdays, 6pm Sundays, and 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays. This feels a bit early considering the area and type of spot it it.

Yelp
Tried some of the new items off the Summer Menu! I loved the Chicken Basil Pasta! A serving so generous, I had the leftovers for lunch the following day! The Greek salad had too many olives for my lurking but it was still very good. And LOVED the new Summer Salad, the BBQ vinaigrette was so unique and delicious!

Yelp
We tried this newer restaurant on a weeknight. The restaurant itself was not busy but they had some people at the bar and some tables filled. They have a lot of different items on the menu making it difficult to decide. My daughter got the gridiron burger which she said was really good. I had the brined half chicken with a brown butter gravy. It was served with root vegetables and fingerling potato hash. The chicken was good except the breast portion was extremely small like they must use most of the breast in another dish. I definitely was missing part of the breast. I don't eat the leg or thigh so my protein intake was small. The root vegetables and potato hash was good. My sister had the house salad with shrimp. She enjoyed it. Right now on Thursdays, kids eat free so my grandson had the grilled chicken sandwich. The sandwich was a good size, I wish they offered an adult version. Service was good and attentive. They have some big screen tv's for viewing all the sporting events. It's a nice place, I'll be back.

Yelp
It's a little on the pricier side but the food is pretty good. I got the Smashburger which had two patties, cheese and deliciously crunchy pickles. Cohort got the Nashville chicken. He's not a spice guy so it wasn't too much for him. Service was great. It was slow for a Saturday but it's beautiful out....

Mitchel S.

Yelp
We got there a little after opening and were seated right away. Service was quick. I got the smash burger, my friend got the daily special which was short rib chili mac and cheese. Both were delicious. Would come back if I'm ever at the HOF again!

Yelp
The service was thorough and friendly. The presentation of the food was excellent. The food was flavorful, but not something I'd order again.

Yelp
Let's start off with the obvious. We arrived at 6:00 pm on a Friday and the place was practically a dry desert. No patrons. This is the same experience I had here under the prior ownership. Based on the volume the restaurant was over staffed and they will have a difficult time trying to make budget due to poor labor productivity. I happen to pass here every day and unfortunately I don't know how any eatery or retail service will survive at this location. The design was poor and the lack of adequate parking without a hill walk will plague this site. The aesthetics of the restaurant are amazing; however are only attractive to patrons on their elevated events. Day to Day patrons will target easily accessible establishments without "the circle" challenge only to find a hand full of available parking spaces out front without a 30 minute limit. You can't knock the service. We were the only ones in the main area. People in the kitchen were just leaning on the counter holding up their chins and waiting for someone to come in. From a food perspective, we had no complaints. Service was fast. Food was okay, but not magnificent. I would go back again if I have problems getting into another restaurant and want to avoid a wait. I just hope they are open if I return. Seems like everything in this Village is failing from the business perspective and I want them to really to succeed for our community.

Yelp
It is a very nice bar and very well themed.., I thought our server/bartender was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about our drinks and what the offerings were but overall, I thought it was very overpriced. I did enjoy the Korean beef sliders.

Yelp
Super friendly service, really delicious food! I had the cheese flatbread, which had a really crispy thin crust. Would highly recommend!

Yelp
Probably more like a three and a half, but I'm rounding up. We started with the pork belly burnt ends. When I think of pork belly, I think of tender, melt-in-mouth, fatty pieces of heaven. These were not really that; they were "just okay". They were tougher than I expected and the sauce on them was a little sweet for my taste. Not terrible, but not exactly what we expected. I had the lunch portion of the spinach salad. It was pretty good and a decent size. My son had the child's spaghetti which was a generous portion and they were kind enough to bring more sauce. Service was very friendly. The lunch menu was limited. It was clean in there and not super busy. It didn't look too much different from when it was still Don Shula's. It was about 50 bucks before the tip for a kid's meal and two adults who each had small salads (no protein added to the salads) and then that pork belly appetizer. I'm not sure if that's a great value or not, but there were decent portions and my son loved his spaghetti, so that's great. I do think the Don Shula's menu was a bit better, but I'd be willing to come back and give this place another try for dinner.

Yelp
We tried this restaurant for the first time tonight because of the $10 flatbreads posted on instagram. Hubby and friend had the Blazing pig and both loved it: perfect amnt. Of sauce, cheese, & flavorful pork. They would order again. I had the Grecian Orecchiette w/ shrimp. It too was delicious , although I thought it could use seasoning. My old fashioned was delightful. My friend ordered soup of the day and crab cakes; loved both! It was nice for a change, not to have blaring music and tv screens everywhere you look! Our server (pm B on check), was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We will be back!

Yelp
Excellent food and service! The Beef Short Rib Ragu was amazing!! The garlic bread served with it had a great blend of flavors, not an overpowering garlic taste. My husband had the Vanilla Bean Rum ice cream from Taggarts for dessert. It tasted rich and flavorful! A great balance of rum & vanilla bean. I had the cheesecake topped with cherry almond. It also was delicious. Loved the TV set up with the bar in the middle. We could easily see the games on TV. DEFINITELY a new FAVORITE spot!!!!

Yelp
Go into "Gridiron Gastro Pub" to watch football and eat wings....have to spell it, cause I am not able to "tag it", too new I am guessing... Sit down at bar, try to order wings; Bartender: Sorry, we are still on brunch menu(it's 1:20pm) dinner menu starts at 2pm Me: ok, I guess I will try the crab cakes, order wings at 2pm 2pm comes along Me: Hey, its 2:01, want to order wings now Bartender: Oh we dont have wings on the menu, we dont serve them here Me: YOU SAID I HAD TO WAIT TILL 2??? Bartender; never said we had wings Me: What kind of sports bar does not have wings? Bartender: we are not a sportsbar, we are a Gastro Pub Me: The name of the place is "Gridiron", you are located in the heart of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Village, how are you NOT a sports bar? Bartender: (blank stare) Me: Do you know where the term "gridiron" originates? Bartender: no idea At this point my head is going to explode....as I explain "GRIDIRON IS A FOOTBALL FIELD, HOW IS THIS NOT A SPORTS BAR??? Nothing but blank stares from there.... SO! The crab cakes....ok, needs more sauce because wings were non existent, Ended up ordering "burnt ends"....they were not burnt, they were dehydrated beef jerky chunks that were re-hydrated with chicken stock- tasted good, but was not what I wanted...which was closer to re-hydrated pork butt and to finish(bartenders, hold your breath) I asked for Jaeger- THEY DO NOT CARRY JAEGER, so, "how about Crown Apple"? Oh yes, we have Crown Apple.... Me: gimme shot crown apple straight up then the check Bartender: Ok, did you want that chilled or on the rocks? Me: (in my head-MOTHER FUCKER!) verbally my response was "no, I want it straight up Bartender: (blank stare) Me: just pour the shot in a glass and serve it to me I have to add, NOT ONCE was I checked on- not once did either bartender say"you ok?, need anything?" - and the place was dead, like it has been, every single time i go in there I tipped $20 on a $40 tab, because I promised to tip well if they put my game on the main screen My only good experience was talking to the manager "Hunter", who put the game on the main screen for me, served me, and talked to me for awhile...Hunter graduated high school in 2014...hes the manager....see where I am going with that?

Yelp
A great transition from the restaurant concept that was formerly at this location. The menu has a wide variety of excellent options from starters through dessert, and a fantastic specialty cocktail menu. Also, great service performed by staff that is knowledgeable about the menu and its offerings. Family friendly but still feels like an upscale experience. The pricing is very affordable especially for the portions.

Yelp
We had a wonderful lunch on Christmas Eve. The food was delicious and the service was perfect! We will be back.

Yelp
Gave it a try last night and was not disappointed. Attentive service, food was spot on, and not crazy expensive. I had pork shank with pierogies. Top notch. My wife went with a steak. Cooked perfectly medium rare. Mashed potatoes were creamy. Had bread pudding for dessert. Perfect for the 2 of us. We'll be back. Gotta say though. We miss the banana French toast sundae that Don Shula's offered. Maybe they'll restore it to the menu.

Carole S.

Yelp
I went before their opening, I made sure to order at least 4 appetizers I got the scallops, our table also had the steak fritte, perch and fries. All the food was fresh, we cleared the plates. Crab cakes were good, Korean sliders were good, the baked bread was good and cooked to order in a cast iron skillet. The reason I did not give five stars was because the burnt end app was not even crispy. I will go back and get other foods for sure. The lighting was great, wait staff was on point.

Bob W.

Yelp
Food and waitress were great.Wife and I shared the burnt pork belly appetizer...WONDERFUL!...wife had small pizza, I had the lemon chicken sandwich with mushrooms...also excellent....MAJOR drawback was competing with the huge amount of gnats at our table for control of the food........"what draws gnats in December?"

Adena B.

Yelp
I really wish I could have said it's worth it, but it's not!Don Shula was better. These people can not cook chicken if u can cook chicken omg, it was hard and dry they gravy was not flavorful at all. They dis plate ur food on black plate and most of the food looks black not colorful at all. Small amounts and over priced. Get new chefs or do just burger and stop trying to be upscale ur not!!!! I won't go back. The best thing about it was the nicest waitress and I felt bad for them because it's not their fault the food is bad.

Yelp
EXCELLENT experience in every way for a large party of 9 at the Winter Blizt Brunch and Carnival. Host Teagan accommodated us with patience and assistance for grandpa with his cane and excited grandchildren. The buffet was better than expected with tasty salmon, tender chicken, amazing mushrooms, best brussel sprouts ever, pasta, and breakfast dishes - all we could eat for an affordable family price w coffee & juice included. Juice bar was great idea! Each of the 3 families will definitely come to dine at the restaurant in the future based on this delicious buffet. The indoor carnival was perfect for after the meal as the children had plenty of room and different activities to enjoy. The family ice skating was a treat! Thank you for offering family friendly dining and activities at the HOF. Thank you Teagan for your help in understanding how to make the reservations and going above & beyond to make this a special Christmas memory! Yes, I know this sounds glowing, & I rarely write reviews, but I am not exaggerating the HOF team approach to details and work to create a great experience.
