Griendel - Brasserie Artisanale (quartier Montcalm)

The outside patio is just perfect on s warm night. The beers were excellent as well. IPA guy and was surprised by all the really tasty micro brew IPA's in Quebec City, and Griedel had some of the best. Service was wonderful and servers very friendly. Would absolutely visit again. Edited for additional info from owner - On a bit of a side note, my wife was able to see into the parking lot where the dumpster is and saw at least 4 different couples come out with various food items that the restaurant must have thrown out. Bag of oranges, onions etc. Turns out this was the supermarkets dumpster not the restaurants, still sad to see. I apologize for making assumptions, and I am so glad the owners took the time to clear up this misunderstanding. This is an outstanding establishment and I wish you the best of luck and success in your new location and look forward to visiting again.

the restaurant was spacious, the staff was nice and attended to us perfectly! the passionfruit beer was a 10/10, perfect for non-beer drinkers. the charcuterie platter was great to share and the saumon & pieuvre was also nice. overall a great experience!

Beer was good but the poutine was an insult. 17$ for a couple of fries and few cheese curds. Very diasapointing from this place.

A great restaurant! Very nice staff and the food is amazing. We had fish&chips, fish with risotto and the burger. As a dessert we ordered chocolate sauce with crumbles. The crumbles weren't that amazing, but the chocolate sauce was a dream.

A nice pub with an original industial decor. There is a lot of choice for the beer and the quality is really good! The waiters know a lot about their menu and give good advice about the beer! A good place to taste good beer at a fair price! I recommend it to anyone who likes beer and a nice place to drink it!

My husband and I were not sure about the place and so we split our two meals and didn’t get a side either but let me tell you... The burger was delicious and I was sad to only got to eat half of it! That tells you how yummy it is! I immediately told my husband I would 100% come back to eat it whole! The poutine was really good, great cheese and great sauce -however, wouldn’t recommend getting the pulled pork on it! 🙅🏻‍♀️The pulled pork took away from the amazing poutine! Just a regular poutine is the best! 💁🏻‍♀️ Lastly, the beer, my husband wasn’t a fan but many seem to love it so maybe he just didn’t pick the right ones? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Def good food!

Solid beer, nice outside dining area in the back.

Probably the best bar/restaurant I have ever been to. Each beer was poured perfectly and so flavorful. Food and service were excellent too. Buffalo wings were spicy, so beware! They have a great Czech pilsner which is very comparable to what you would get in Czech Republic. Also they have a cask!
