Grilandia Wimbledon

The food was lovely at this restaurant. The portions were okay, but the food was tasty. The service wasn’t great, took a lot time to get attention. The restaurant is very well decorated and had a lovely atmosphere. I will say it is very pricey for what you get. On average £25/30 a person for one meal.

Food was delicious, the only reason I gave 4 out of 5 stars for the food is because it would've been nice to have a complimentary starter on the table (as I've experienced in other Middle Eastern restaurants) or if the hummus starter came with bread included, instead of it being 2 different starters that had to be ordered. The menu is also halal- friendly in a great location. Service was great, Saima our waitress was attentive and helpful. We did not have to wait or call for attention, as she was was prompt in refilling our drinks and taking our order. Saima also had a walm and calming presence. It is also convenient that you can make bookings on OpenTable. We were also given complimentary deserts, I believe they were cakes cropped with coconut and jam, which is actually one of my favourite desserts! They were delicious and I haven't come across it before on a menu. This was a nice surprise to end our dinner.

Lovely lovely place, the service is amazing, the decor is really nice. Portions sizes are huge! (No complains here). Everything was delicious. Definitely have the humus and bread starter, best I’ve had. Love the prawns and dessert was amazing. They also give complimentary fruits at the end which I love. Will be back soon!

Had dinner with friends here last night, we had mix grills, grilled chicken wings and chicken, all were very delicious, especially the chicken wings. Service was great as well, super friendly and helpful staff. The complementary dessert was superb 😋! Will definitely come again.

I’ve been to many restaurants around the world, and I’m a good cook myself, so I know what good food tastes like. This restaurant is overpriced for the level of service and food quality it offers. My wife and I paid £72 for what you see in the photos, which is far too much. There are many Lebanese restaurants in the city that offer better prices and far better quality and flavor. The falafel was tasteless, the potatoes served with it were cold and stale—it was obvious they weren’t freshly made. The bread brought to the table was also cold and stale. My wife’s lemonade was bitter, and none of the dishes had any real flavor, except for the lentil soup. The only thing I ate and didn’t dislike was the lentil soup. I do not recommend this restaurant, and I won’t be going back myself.

New Years Eve meal with the family was simply delicious! We booked a table for 4 and when we arrived we were told that the set menu was in places,not a problem for us when we realised that actually we could eat everything and it wasn’t like in other restaurants where the starters are just soups/mushrooms. The kebabs were really good as well but the only downside was the very small portion of chips that came with the meat platter ,the 2 rice bowls aren’t enough for 3 people. Backlava was ok ,not the best I had. But I would gladly return and enjoy their amazing food.

Went during a weekday night, so it was quiet, but still great ambience and a gorgeous decor. Service was friendly and quick, and the food was delish - even got some complimentary bread and desserts! Will be back

I wanted to plan something special for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday, so it had to be big — and Girlanda delivered perfectly! From my very first call, Saadia was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. She invited me to view the space, helped me plan the layout, and supported me throughout the entire process. I reserved the back area for 20 guests, and she made the whole experience feel easy and stress-free. On the day, everything ran seamlessly — from starters to mains and desserts. The team even kindly brought out the cupcakes we had brought along for everyone. The music was great, the atmosphere was lovely, and we felt completely looked after. A special thank you to Saadia, who supported me from booking right through to execution — everything went superbly. The décor and vibe were beautiful, the set menu was filling and great value for money, and with easy parking in Wimbledon, it really was a no-brainer. Highly recommend!
