Grill City is located inside Seafood City Supermarket. Convenient location on N Decatur off 215. Ample parking with handicap access. Parking lot is clean. No masks required. Handsanitizers are stationed within the store. Friendly customer service. You can eat in or take out. There's a variety of selections at the food counter specifically Asian Filipino cuisine. Each item is labeled for your convenience. The portions are generous. The skewered chicken and pork BBQ are grilled perfectly and very tasty. The pinakbet a mixed vegetable dish was delicious. If you are craving for Filipino cuisine this is the restaurant to go to.

I went here yesterday to buy the same items I got from the Henderson location. The buy 2 items from the inihaw meal and get $1.00 banana langka halo-halo thing. When I told the server I wanted that deal, she thought I wanted to separate orders instead of 2 items deal. So she grabs 2 separate to go boxes. I smirked and shook my head and told I only wanted “1” order of that with 2 items. So then when I picked my items, I picked the kare-kare and chicken bbq on a stick. I was watching her put the kare-kare in the small container and she only put the tripe and some veggies. No ox tail meat whatsoever! Mind you it’s an extra $2.00 if you pick beef. So disappointing. Then came to pay and it took about 10 minutes. Then I told them that I wanted the $1.00 banana lanka halo-halo dessert so she charged me. So she packed my food, but where’s my dessert? The cashier that I paid left and then the lady that took my order took over. I asked her, where is my dessert? She said it’s $1.00. I told her I already paid for it, so where is it? Then she told me to get it from another station where they make them. I go to that station and the lady in charge of that station told me to wait because she was moving the ice shaving machine in the back of their kitchen. So I waited….. took her about 15 minutes before I got my dessert. I don’t have much time to wait because my mother-in-law was waiting the car and we had a baseball tournament to go to for my son. She came out with my dessert and said, “Oh, the ice cream is butter pecan ice cream, ma’am”. (It’s supposed to be langka ice cream just like how I had it at the Henderson location), I looked at her and gave her a stank look and said, “Well, that’s disappointing”. She didn’t even apologize nor explain why butter pecan ice cream. Instead, she ran to the ice cream fridge to get the actual langka ice cream. I should have stayed and told her that that’s not what I ordered and that she needs to give me the correct dessert I ordered. But I didn’t have time to argue because I had something important to go to. It gave a reminder as to why I don’t go to this Grill City. I prefer the one in Henderson. Or they need to change their employees there and be a little bit more professional.

Friendly staff, delicious food! I got the bbq pork with chopsuey. It was SO good! Plus it's inside of Seafood City on North Decatur, so you can shop in the grocery area--we bought some lemon ginger candies, and there's a Red Ribbon cake shop inside too. We got some mocha flan cake on the way out. Yum!

They appear to be well staffed but the wait to pay for your food is painful. I get an hour for lunch, 30 minutes wasted to finish my transaction, only 2 people ahead of me. Bring mediation beads and a sleeping bag. The inefficiency is unreal, molasses moves faster than these workers!

Google
Located inside of the seafood city market, this was my first visit here. The meat skewers looked so good. They had a promo of buy 4 get 1 free for $14.99 which seemed a little pricey but they looked so good I took a chance... My husband and I did enjoy they but agreed that for the price we probably won't go back anytime soon. The skewers come in pork and chicken... Same BBQ glaze on both but the pork was a little tougher to chew.

Arrived and I was the only other customer besides someone who has already being rung out. 4 people behind the counter including the person ringing out. No greeting or acknowledgement. Watched the staff just doing food prep. 3 other potential customers lined up behind me and left because the wait was too long. Another member of the staff who was in the kitchen saw me and even mentioned to one of the staff behind the counter that there is a customer waiting in. Still ignored me. Waited about 15 minutes for someone to actually help me when there were no other customers in front of me. Not sure how good this business model is. Seems the customers aren’t really priority.

Customer service here is awful. I came at 3:30 pm (no rush observed) I waited 15 mins for new lumpia to be fried (they promised me 7-10), but when I tried to ask for status—no one acknowledged me. The kept walking away talking and laughing. I waited to get help so finally at 17 mins, they said it hasn’t been fried yet!!? Whoever took my order didn’t follow through. They asked me to wait 10 mins more cuz it’s still frozen. This is just the conclusion of my visit. When I started at the line, another worker failed to acknowledge me and served someone else behind the line. Awful. My husband experiences the same thing during breakfast hours whenever he comes. And I don’t typically leave bad reviews…

Google
Online menu always do not match what they have on the serving line. It confuses the DoorDash driver all the time because they deliver something that’s different. Servers are super slow. Slower than molasses.

Yelp
Good stop for dinner! Located inside Seafood City, Grill City has plenty of options for any meal! Eat in or take away! The option is yours! Tuesdays are great to get an additional 12% off if you are a Senior! The HaloHalo was also BOGO! Next to it is a Bakery & Red Ribbon also inside Seafood City so you are covered for more desserts or breads as well! Love a lot of the dishes offered here - we've tried almost all of them! Stop in!

Yelp
We were shopping at Seafood City and loss track of time. It was late and didn't have anything planned for dinner. We decided to give Grill City a chance. My parents have ordered here before and their experiences have been, meh. We got pancit, chicken (3) and pork (1) bbq skewers. Everything was pretty good. Chicken was tender and seasoned well. Pork skewer was just okay. When we got home, we put skewers in the oven and added more veggies to pancit :) Ordering was a little confusing but in the end, it all worked out. Hope you decide to check them out :)

Yelp
Entertaining some east coast friends who just had to have Filipino food while they were visiting. They had done a couple of the AYCE places around that shall remain nameless. They also wanted to pick up some hard to get items as well. They pretty much all got combo meals with extra bbq skewers. Everybody was well satisfied with the food quality but I guess service was a bit awkward (maybe language issues) All in all a decent meal, but not cheap. We wound up paying almost $90.00 for four people. Would I go back, sure but then I know what I want and prefer the ala carte menu

Yelp
Grill City is a Filipino BBQ Cafeteria Restaurant located in Seafood City. We went to the Centennial North Las Vegas Location. They offer a big selection of Filipino dishes including balut. Some of the dishes have signs without explanations and some don't have signs so it can be challenging to order for some people. We wanted to try a lot of little things but found that was impossible to do. They have skewers of pork and chicken but you must buy 5 skewers....They had four different fish offerings. I picked one fish that looked the nicest to me and it turned out to be bangus (vinegar marinated milkfish) We also tried corn on the cob, rice, and grilled longanisa (sausage). The skewers were both very tender but were served at room temperature and were in a sweet sauce. My husband liked the sausages. This is only the second time that I have tried bangus. I do have have to say the flavors were far more complex and this better tasting this time. The vinegar side was also much better. It was nice that the fish was stuffed with vegetables. The last bangus (from a different restaurant was very hard and chewy) This one was served sort of dry.......but wasn't hard and chewy like the another from some other place. If anyone reads this that knows how bangus should be I would like to know. I've had Caribbean vinegar marinated fish before and I thought it would be that kind of texture but it wasn't. The corn was served kinda dried out but the rice was very good here. Maybe the best rice anywhere.

Yelp
I only come here for few items. First are their Bbq sticks but u have to time it correctly where it's fresh off the grill & u gots to avoid the old bbq sticks that's been sitting or burnt & also I've noticed recently the new bbq guy still manages to burn some sticks specifically both ends while the middle part is a different color and he even uses a timer alarm that u can hear go off and he's standing in front of the grill it's baffling! The other item I like are the crispy chicken skins w vinegar that always hits! The final item is their halo halo it's delicious! It's loaded w sago boba balls now along w some toasted pinipigs & leche flan & ube & all the other diabetic goodness inside this plastic cup topped w overflowing magnolia ube ice cream and evaporated milk! The rest of the hot food to me are hit or miss mostly misses very dry textures even the veggie dishes & their combo meals they'll hit u up w $1 or $2 extra if it's a certain protein. Customer service is always good from the titas no complains there and they even have an entire lechon from time to time like $18/lb and also today they had fresh vegetable lumpia station on deck so yeah there's something for everyone. The joints always clean here & fresh cold free water is always on deck.

Yelp
Ordered bbq. Palabok and 1/2 lb chicken skin. Lady didn't put in the chicken skin in my bag. I called 4 times to inform the staff but no answer. Bad customer service. Service is super slow, food is mediocre I only recommend if you're lazy to cook. There's no good Filipino food in town.

Dee C.

Yelp
The food isn't all that great here! I got the BBQ chicken skewer with rice and kare kare, karioka and 1 veggie lumpia. My husband got the same except his side was the sweet n sour fish. The chicken skewer was so dry, the lumpia I was given was burnt, the karioka was hard as heck. The kare kare was the only one satisfying to the palate. Service is super slow!!! And when your given your food you don't get utensils, you have to sit down, look for your fork/napkins, then go stand and wait in line to ask for it. They definitely need to do a food quality check and follow the holding times because obviously the food they are selling is way past it! Dining area is a community sitting place where everyone parks their shopping cart somewhere in hopes no one will steal their groceries. This place is definitely NOT a must try!

Yelp
First time ordering and it wasn't good. Ordered 2 skewers of chicken and 2 of pork. Ordered a couple pieces of Honey Garlic Chicken, some rice and a specialty drink. The order got here barely warm, a **long** way from hot and I'm 1.4 miles from the store, with no traffic lights. The store called me to tell me they only had one Honey Garlic Chicken and the order was here a few minutes later. The honey garlic chicken was FAR too tough to eat and not much flavor. Both the chicken and pork BBQ skewers were almost cold, very little flavor, and the pork was too tough. My supposition it that I got a bunch of food that had been on a warming tray for quite a while. Well, I tried...but they failed. Pretty bad food when I can honestly say that KFC chicken is a LOT better that this stuff.

Chrystal O.

Yelp
Ordered Kare kare and adobo pusit combination plate. First off, they charge an up charge on these sides. So $12.99 for 2 item plate and then each side is an extra $2. So my meal became a $17 meal! And no where is it posted on which sides have an up charge. The worst part was that the Kare Kare was inedible. All the meat they gave me was very hard and chewy. Really disappointed on their food quality especially with how much they charge now.

Greg C.

Yelp
Nice spot to grab a quick lunch. It's inside seafood city and has a variety of plates to choose from.

Jhomari L.

Yelp
?? I got a value meal of Grilled Pork Liempo (1 Serving) with chicken bbq. I'm a little disappointed because I got the smallest liempo that was out. The lady who served had a very nasty attitude towards me, when I was asking questions.

Rob O.

Yelp
Mostly food are old. Cold. Hard to chew. Staff are nice and loud like Pinas vibe. But i notice they never change the gloves per order and tita was preparing mine and her gloved hand dipped in to my soup. I was waiting for her to change it but i didnt say anything. She was still using same gloves with next order. Ayayay

Edna M.

Yelp
this place's food and service has gone down so bad. I don't know if they even taste their own cooking. the bbq is tough. they cooked the dinuguan with sampalok leaves. it's new to me. to be fair, it's the Las Vegas Grill City. the ones in California are still okay.

Eri T.

Yelp
This is the first time I will ever post a review on this place for I am so fed up everytime I order food here! Whether it's from DoorDash, GrubHub or Yelp! They always send me the wrong items. 99% of the time! I've been supporting this place eversince they opened. Today, I'm just so pissed!!! They never got my orders right! I'm still gonna give them 2 stars but damn!

Annabelle R.

Yelp
Food wasn't good and neither was the service. They ignored me in line for so long, I had to ask for help multiple times for someone to take my order. Vegetable lumpia was extremely greasy. Chicken liver was bland, no seasoning at all. By the way, I only wanted a small amount of chicken liver to try it, but the lady continue to scoop more in the bag even after I asked her not to. She said they had a 1/4 lb minimum, which was fine, but she ended up having me buy 1/2 lb anyway

Glenn A.

Yelp
Located inside the newest Seafood City Market in North Las Vegas, this Grill City is the largest location I have visited so far. They have a vast selection of food items from BBQ, Fish and the traditional Filipino dishes. They even served breakfast items in the evening. You definitely don't have a shortage of choices here. For desserts, they have a dedicated area for ordering. We ordered the shareable Halo-Halo dessert and it was huge. It was big enough to share with 4 people and it was much cheaper than buying individual Halo-Halo`s for each person. I'm glad there is now a Grill City in NLV because there is a lack of choices for Filipino food in the area.

Monique W.

Yelp
Grill City is located inside the Seafood City Market in Las Vegas. You can get here by going to the 215/Decatur exit. My partner stopped by Grill City since it was right next to Noodle Street. He had ordered the following -Fried Banana -BBQ Chicken (Value meal) with Rice. It also came with a Seafood Noodle dish. The BBQ chicken dish was for my son. We ended up bringing that dish back to him. The Seafood Noodle dish was "too shrimp-like flavoring." It felt very over-powering over all of the additional ingredeitnas in the dish. If you like Shrimp, the seafood noodle dish may be for you, but if you like it as more of a subtle flavor, I'd recommend staying away from that dish. The Fried Banana had tasted like it was left in the dish warmer for too long. Grill City is very similar to a Buffet, where you can pick and choose the dishes that you want. My son had the BBQ chicken dish and ended up getting very upset stomach for a few hours. I would not get food from this restaurant again.

Marie C.

Yelp
Convenient and delicious food, great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I love coming here after doing some shopping in the area or even at Seafood City. There was a guy in front of us who ordered about 12 plates, so that did cause a line. But they had free staff members and they cleared the line in about 10 min. Wait time wasn't that bad, but it was worth getting a good plate of food!

John C.

Yelp
Recently bought a Pork BBQ skewer and it was on the rare side. Some parts of the meat was not well cooked.

Odessa I.

Yelp
2/4/2022. I didn't use their online service because I have trust issues ordering food online, so I went to their store to personally order it around 11am. Filled out a form and stated I need it at exactly 4pm. I even reiterated this to the cashier and I was assured it'll be ready by that time. Ordered 1/2 a tray of beef Caldereta and pork menudo. I came back to pick up my order at 4:10 only to find out that it wasn't ready and I have to wait 20 mins. Unfortunately, my order wasn't endorsed to their cook. So while I was waiting, they have to cook it. Essentially I waited for 45mins. So pissed because we expect it to be ready at 4pm. Not a good experience. I love supporting Filipino establishments but this incident really caused inconvenience for us. The cashiers and their cook were apologetic and tried to make up by giving me extra stuff. Now, talking about the food. The beef is TOUGH. We didn't enjoy the food except for the free bbq that was given and the leche flan. Overall, I guess we won't be ordering here anymore. This is the 2nd Grill City that gave us a bad experience in terms of ordering party trays. They're not on time and you can't buy wasted time. Grill City , please do better.

Lander D.

Yelp
Prices in Vegas nowadays are just expensive, and ofcourse, Seafood city doesn't fall behind on that. They raised their 2 combo meal with not just $1, but $2 more than what it usually was. I ordered today, 8 Jan and 04:16PM. Despite the price surge, I went ahead and got it. Ordered kare kare and pork sinigang. Sinigang was okay, but the kare-kare? Well I didn't even finish it. First of all the meat was tough! Second, I don't really know what type of meat you guys mix in your kare kare? It was rubbery and definitely not the usual beef that I have had! It was more close to a chicken liver than anything!! I understand that you guys bring everything up in prices, but come on! At least maintain the quality of all your food! I don't come in expecting to pay $13+ on some dishes that doesn't even taste as it should be! Worst branch ever. I would have given ZERO starts if I could!

Irene B.

Yelp
Zero star! Been spending money on this place and this people just do not care about the customers. Their customer service is down there and their food down there and still going downhill. The price is like dinning in a restaurant but their food is not fresh. They serve you a tiny container of food (they don't fill the container) and lots of low quality rice. Two one entree meal and their 4+1 bbq with extra rice amounts to 50 dollars! You shouldn't have to pay that much for bad customer service, reheated food, and small servings.

Joe G.

Yelp
Never buying food here ever again! I went here this morning to get breakfast and it was 30 minutes after they opened. We got chicken adobo and corn in the cobb and they gave us half of the chicken adobo in its container with three bones in it!!! BONY PART OF THE CHICKEN NOT EVEN A SINGLE MEAT IN THERE. And, the corn in the cobb was a day old and tasted horrible! Moreover, the lumpia that I got was terribly dry. It's very disappointing thinking that they will give you decent food but served us shit. Horrible experience. Will never buy from here ever again. why would you even serve someone just BONES????

Catt E.

Yelp
One star for the new place. Dinuguan- Hindi Masarap /don't order Monggo- Hindi Masarap / don't order Pork Barbecue- Amoy marasap PERO hindi! Hindi Masarap / don't order. Fried chicken skin- ok na sana but May buhok pa ng chicken. I will try the grill fish next.

ARIeL P.

Yelp
I am literally writing this while I'm sick. I ate at this place for the first time. I had the Bangus, Chicken Tocino and Sisig Bangus for lunch 1:30PM. I couldn't eat the Garlic Rice because it was so salty. The Chicken Tocino was okay, but there were some pieces that tasted old. The Bangus Sisig......was super salty. I ordered a small to taste it. Only finished half of it. Didn't taste fresh at all. I've literally been sick since 5PM and been throwing up. Only thing I've eaten was this today. I was just telling a friend how I liked the place because it was clean. However, I was also confused of all the low ratings on Yelp. Perhaps, I know now! I was thinking, the meat they use, is it the meat that's getting old from the meat department? I hate having to leave this comment, but my mind, body and soul truly regrets having tried this place. Thing that sucks the most is, I have to travel to LA in the morning and my stomach and back is so much in pain.

Destinee S.

Yelp
The only good thing in this eatery is the grilled fish or meat ,unless, it is burnt. The food doesn't look appealing as it looks dry and over cooked . The taste is sub par .My mom can cook way better . The meat is hard . If it wasn't for the grilled stuff , I would rather eat at Noodles Street ,And Lorraine's . Lorraine's food taste better , but their portion is quite small . They are inside Seafood city ,which is a plus .

Glenda R.

Yelp
Can't beat the price and how convenient this place is in North Las Vegas. Clean location great breakfast place, food is fresh! When I crave Filipino breakfast this is the place to go!

Daniel-Mayrubis A.

Yelp
Great service and very patient when serving family visiting from Panama and never tasted Filipino food! Food was fresh and warm. Thank you staff member working the food line at Grill City. I am proud to have given to my in-laws a taste of food I grew up with! No pics because it's all gone. Yummy!

Charles B.

Yelp
Staff is super friendly and that's cool but the food has kinda fallen off. i have been here a few times and not sure what changed as it was really good but put it back

Wayne J.

Yelp
Was here two days ago. Staff are friendly. Chicken adobo looked like tinola, watery. Paksiw na lechon looked like sinigang, watery. Grilled liempo and BBQ pork were OK. Food on the counter were underwhelming and looks good on photos. Food could be better. Recipe needs to change or get a new cook.

Cregan S.

Yelp
I have ABSOLUTELY no idea why you guys have ONLY 2 stars, if I could give you 6 I totally would !! You make some of the absolute BEST Filipino food I've ever had!! Delicious, hot, fresh and healthy what more can you ask for!!

Jethro P.

Yelp
Normally, my family and I love to come here to get the Grand Silog for breakfast, but lately we've been dreading having to interact with Debbie. She is a foul-mouthed, rude worker who doesn't know the meaning of customer service. What was just a simple misunderstanding that could have been resolved turned into an argument between her and my father where she kept talking back. When my dad threatened to talk to a manager, she said "You're wasting your time. Nothing's gonna happen." and she accused my father of being a misogynist and hating women. We will NOT be coming back until she has been terminated.

Nina M.

Yelp
I hope the management sees my review. This is for the rice that they serve. The texture and Why is it yellowish? I love grill city but you need to use better rice. Please compare it to your rice you use at home it's nothing the same. I'm sure this is the cheapest rice they serve here.

Melissa D.

Yelp
What a joke. I get skipped in line at grill city because the lady was rude and not doing her job properly. Then went over to the next counter to order halo halo. Aneta took my order then I waited over 20 minutes before aneta even acknowledged me. She asked what are you waiting for um the halo halo I paid for with you. Then she tried to argue the fact that she took my order even though I have receipt proof. After my horrible experience I waited on the manger for over 10 minutes before being hung up on. There is a great filipino store right down the street and they have costumer service skills. Never coming back to seafood city!

Joseph R.

Yelp
this place never improved they still have slow ass servers and slow ass cashier, even with enough staff it takes forever to get your order, enployees here have no sense of urgency.

Yuri L.

Yelp
Slow service. bbq chicken was cold, grilled squid wasnt cooked all the way and gross had to throw it away. Fish ball noodle also was cold and not good at all. Worst 25bux I ever spent

Alicia B.

Yelp
So I went here on my the week it opened and everything was fine. The food was good and everything else. But I feel like ever since it opened it pretty much went a lot downhill. Today I walked in and I was thinking okay get something for dinner it's around 7 p.m. so I figured they'd have a lot ready because people are going there for dinner time. Nope, there wasn't anything. Barely food. I'm like dude if you're going to be open all the way to closing time at least have food ready. The girl who is doing the grill for the skewers, she didn't even clean the grill before that. So you have a dirty grill with chicken being cooked. I'm sorry but that's disgusting. I love grill city but if you're going to be grilling, at least clean before you pick the next skewers on. Your customers lives are mattered because they're giving you your paycheck

Jason N.

Yelp
I'm not even surprised about the low rating of this place. My wife and I ate here today and let me say that the service is horrible. While the people taking out orders were pleasant, the cashier almost over charged if it wasn't for another worker who butted into the argument my wife was having with the cashier. Now, let me get to the dining amenities such as knives, fork, and spoon. No properly filled. We didn't get to eat and enjoy the Grilled Squid we ordered because we couldn't cut for the lack of plastic knives. I asked the guy on the cashier for one, but he looked to pissed to be bothered while he was talking to his friend, so never mind. Never eating here again.

Walter R.

Yelp
7:15 pm food is almost gone. Long line due to to inefficiency. Servers have no sense of customer service, no sense of urgency. No sign of any management supervisory. I ordered pork lechon and they did not provide any sauce, when I requested some sauce the girl just shrugged and said "we're out" because a lot of people ordered. If I can give 0 stars I would. Not coming back here anymore. Not worth spending money here.

Trina P.

Yelp
Service was slow as if they didn't know how to put food in to go boxes. Literally SLOW. They were moving like sloths. The food wasn't authentic Filipino, it sucked. Had the bbq, tastes like what a wet dog would smell like, the garlic rice wasn't flavorful, tapa was dry, lumpia's seemed like they were under the heat lamp for way too long. I expected more from this place. The only thing I enjoyed was the canned coconut juice.

Leah B.

Yelp
I wish I could give this place zero stars. The food sucks. Service was so slow, by the time I got my food, it was cold.

Jamine Faye S.

Yelp
The wonderful people behind the counter and the great food made this the best Seafood Grill City. Thank you!

Beatriz L.

Yelp
They have so much to offer. The taste of their way of creating the dishes are more of the natural taste of dishes they are offering and not of certain places in the Philippines according to where the dishes are made based on certain of cooking from the different islands in this country.

Kim L.

Yelp
dont go here food is bland looks like left over and please changed your staff they hate their job you can see it their slow 30 minutes to serve 2 people on busy lunch with long line...... their so slowwwwww and food is bland change the cook either bland or dried as sahara desert
