Believe the hype! These guys have among the best burgers in the greater Los Angeles area. Located on the water, there's a great view, great atmosphere, and if you're a metal head, great music. But if you're not a metal head, it's not obnoxiously loud either. The Behemoth burger sounds like a gimmick - the top and bottom "bun" are grilled cheese sandwiches. THAT IS NOT AN EXAGGERATION. The middle is actually delectable burger that frankly should be a mess to eat.... but it's not. That's the other thing with this place. The burgers are huge, but they're not messy. I made the "mistake" of getting the dirt bag fries. They were amazing. I put mistake in quotes because frankly it was just too much food for two people. If you like beer, these guys have an impressive selection. If you don't like beer, the only area they lack is non-alcoholic drink selection. It's water, unsweetened iced tea, and coke products. So nothing to deduct a star for. My wife ordered the bulldozer, which was the featured burger of the month - pretty much a caprese salad with a burger. She loved it. Burgers are cooked to order, and they do a great job with that. Because everything is fresh, expect to wait a bit for your food. But you'll be on the beach, so you couldn't possibly care less. Loved this spot and will be back.

Google
Really nice location (Horny Corner for the locals) that has a nice beach landscape leading you to fun in the sun and then able to have a beer and burger afterwards. The burger was tender and not greasy, and the fries were light, airy and crisp. Known for their novelty metal themed layout and burgers , I would definitely come back and make this a regular local come to on my rotating menu of things I'd love to eat. Awesome rotating beer selections as well.

Google
This place was a little off the wall, next to the basketball courts and beach rental shop. BUT, the food was freggin' great, and customer service was awesome. The view of the bay is nice and probably even better on a Summer day. Very special kind of menu and not the normal for sure, but seems to work well together. I ordered the High on Fries side with the Jump in the Fryer sandwich. If you're in to Chicken N Waffles, I highly suggest it.

Google
Huge portions, great, great food and reasonable prices. My wife had the Napalm death Burger which was excellent, and the fries were probably the best I've ever tasted. I had the high on fire salad, and there must have been at least 4 or 5 oz of blue cheese crumbles on top of the salad. Top all of that with a great view of Alamitos Bay and the beach, and it's pretty hard to beat this place.

Google
I cannot express how much I enjoyed my lunch here. It’s located on a small street with limited parking so I’d recommend arriving early or in between lunch and dinner. After you find parking it’s a nice little stroll to this little shack like building. It has some seating inside but most seating is outside and some on the second level. You get a nice view of the beach and people out in the water while you enjoy your meal. The staff was super friendly and were very courteous after I had mentioned it was my first time. They recommended the Ozzy Osbourne burger and High on Fries which were both quite the experience that I highly recommend to anyone. The Ozzy Osbourne was succulent and rich with flavor, to make things better it came on a black bun. The High on Fries were absolutely delicious, the fries were cooked to perfection, the buffalo shredded chicken was hot and drenched in buffalo sauce and blue cheese dressing and I couldn’t stop eating them. Overall I spent $29.50 for a burger, loaded fries and a soft drink and it was well worth it(the burger and fries can easily be split for two people). I sat on the second level of the building and it was such a nice vibe to just sit in the sun, eat a good meal while watching people enjoy the beach. The food was spectacular and I will definitely be back with friends to try some more options.

Google
This place is pretty badass. The food was phenomenal. Service, the staff was so chill and friendly. They would give you recommendations on what to try and their specials as well. Eating chili fries while looking at a body of water hits differently. My only real complaint is parking and drivers in the area. I almost got ran over twice on my way there then blamed me for getting in their way as I was crossing the streets ON THE CROSSWALK. Open one up near Santa Ana please.

Google
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Grill 'Em All in Long Beach, California, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. I ordered the Behemoth burger, animal style fries, a fresh salad, and two beers, and every item was a culinary delight. The Behemoth burger was a masterful creation—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The combination of toppings and the quality of the meat made each bite a heavenly experience. The animal style fries were the perfect accompaniment, loaded with a generous amount of toppings that made them irresistible. Even the salad was a standout, fresh and crisp, providing a nice balance to the indulgent burger and fries. Adding to the experience was the music selection; with Immortal playing on the speakers, it set an epic and energetic mood that made the meal even more enjoyable. The ambiance was perfect for anyone who appreciates a great atmosphere along with their food. Parking was convenient, with plenty of spaces available right across the street. It made the entire visit hassle-free. The views of the water from the restaurant were stunning and added a serene backdrop to the hearty meal. Overall, Grill 'Em All in Long Beach offers a fantastic dining experience with delicious food, great music, and a perfect setting. I can't wait to return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable meal.

Google
I have to say that this place is fantastic. Honestly the most delicious burger I've had in a long time. I ordered the Metallica burger the bread was nicely toasted. The Patty was tender and juicy. All the ingredients were fresh. My son ordered the behemoth, the waffle bun was soft and flavourful, chicken was crunchy and tender, overall great presentation and tasty. The primate fries were to die for, crunchy flavor explosion in your mouth. We will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
Napalm Death burger was 10/10! We also had the buffalo wings which were a great size and good flavor. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
Cold beer, feet in the sand, views are perfect. Order from the bar and food gets brought to you. $5 home cut fries enough to feed 4-5 people. Keeping this review short and sweet, this is an awesome food and drink spot on the sand in LB. Can't go wrong and will be back to try more of the food!
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic burger find! This place rocks! Friendly staff wonderful burgers cooked to order and a single order of fries is enough for 4! Ambient music is eclectic metal and hair band mix. Almost forgot they have a good selection of draft beers.

Yelp
Before hitting the water for a paddle board session, my friend and I decided to stop by Grill 'Em All in Long Beach. It's super convenient, just steps from where we planned to launch our board--it was the perfect choice. We grabbed a spot on the upper deck, which gave us a good view of the harbor. Now, onto the food: we both ordered the Metallica Burger, and OMG--this is hands down one of the best burgers I've had in years. The Swiss cheese was perfectly melted over a juicy patty, with a generous amount of avocado and the bacon was thick and crispy. The lettuce, tomato, and red onion kept everything balanced with a nice crunch. The service was surprisingly fast considering how busy they were, and the prices were totally reasonable for the quality of food you get. The only negatives I would say is the parking is a bit of a challenge. If you're looking for amazing burgers, great prices, and a good location, Grill 'Em All is a must-try!

Yelp
Great location and ambiance right on the beach at horny corner, an awesome hangout provided the weather is good. The food menu was pretty cool, a rock n roll theme al la Kuma's corner in chicago, however i think the idea came from a joint in Cleveland oh. My burger was good but not great, not a smashburger, my complaint is that they use a mediocre bun. With so many great buns available they chose the cheapest most whitebread choice. When its a premium burger with a premium price i want premium ingredients, right? They have a decent beer menu as well. I liked that. The service was pretty good, its limited service where you go to the counter then they call your name when your order is ready. They did have some excellent made in house french fries and they make their own version of chipotle catsup that was dope. Ill be back if they survive the winter..

Yelp
The vibe could be intense or laid back, depending on whether you're focusing on the heavy metal or the sandy beach ambiance. I have the say that the juxtaposition was a bit jarring, but it still works. The menu offers an interesting combination of the chef's interpretation of the various heavy metal themes. We were there on Labor Day for lunch, and the line never got too short. Due to its proximity to the beach, the air was filled with the aroma of charred meat and sun screen. The attire of the patrons was skimpy, and it's not a bad spot to people watch and soak up the sun. There's an upstairs deck, but it's more packed than the shady dining tables on the ground level. I loved my Samoa Joe, which has a generous serving of several slices of pineapple, bacon, and cheddar cheese. It was stacked, messy, and satisfying. The grilled onion was some of the best that I've had on a burger. My son enjoyed his Immortal too. Service was good but slow. We waited for more than 20 minutes for our burgers, but it was worth the wait. I don't understand why some customers got a pager for their order and we got a card with our order number. The staff delivered the food to us, but I returned the metallica trays when we were done. Use the adjacent public bathroom sink to wash the grease off of your fingers.

Yelp
This place is newly open on this location. It is located right on the beach and has a heavy metal burger theme going for them. They always play rock and heavy metal and have different style burgers. I have tried their burgers twice and the service is a bit spotty. The burgers are very very fatty and if it wasn't for their location I think they would have much less customers. However if you like hard rock and greasy burgers and the beach this is definitely a place for you.

Yelp
Tried the ozzy for my second try. Was better than the behemoth but still nothing that leaves me wanting more. Would probably try something else or play it safe with the ozzy if I returned but the new location is a nice appeal but the food quality isn't anything to majorly detour for. It's local compared to the old location to my place of stay but still I got a few other burger spots I'd hit on the route to here first and foremost. Give it a try not bad just not THE BEST BURGER EVER

Yelp
I am LOVING the recent pop up of restaurants along our neighborhood beaches these days and this little joint has just popped up at one of my favorite family swimming spots, Bayshore beach! A heavy metal themed burger spot that has a a few locations that I haven't heard of until now seems to be open for late lunch early dinner with a small but mighty menu of burgers and sides, all theme based to the soundtrack that plays inside. Having had no plans for dinner after a quick swim in the ocean, decided to split a burger, salad and some fresh cut fries (because those are my weakness.) While I don't know if I would get these items again- the Samoa Joe burger (the pineapple caught my eye initially), the high on fire salad (big buffalo chicken fans) just missed the flavor palate for me. I would be willing to try other things on the menu on another visit and the staff was kind.

Yelp
Burgers and Beach Views, what else can I ask for? It's one of the most unique burger places I've visited. Grill' Em All offers gnarly burgers, loaded fries, and craft beers: a heavy metal-inspired decor and laid-back atmosphere. I was curious to try the Ozzy Osbourne burger! It was the grilled black bun that caught my attention. It was so good! We also ordered the Immortal burger; it was loaded with mushrooms. Service was fast and great. There's a front and upstairs patio, and both offer great views. There are also water activities a few steps away.

Yelp
The longest awaited return of Grill Em All!!! The excitement was real to finally visit their new Long Beach location after leaving their Alhambra location some months ago. GEA and the staff (especially Niki and Sam) will always be special to us. Hands down still our favorite burger spot. We miss walking half a mile to visit, but the drive to LB is certainly worth it. They are located in a prime spot of Ocean Blvd. Right on the beach in a little nook next to kayak rentals, bounce feature, and the lifeguard building. The open air concept truly fits the beach life and the new rooftop seating is superb ocean views while dining. The location may be new but the grub is the same high quality, fat, juicy burgs you expect from GEA. Nothing compares and I can't even explain how stoked we were to be in their new neighborhood over the weekend. Our craft beer, half pound burgs, and primate fries were the best things we ate in LB. Be back soon GEA!

Yelp
Ambiance: typical punk Long Beach vibe with rock music in the background. The location is such a vibe as it's right on the water. Parking might be tough during busy season (summer, weekends, etc) but there are plenty of options. Customer service: top tier. The employees all match the vibe of the place. They truly are punk rock with great attitudes. The girl who took our order loves sparking conversation with all customers as they order which adds a personal touch to service. Wish I got her name! Food: They serve beer on tap and in cans! Great selection. Burgers all have fun names and not a typical smash burger type of menu. The ingredients are well thought out and richly put together. I had the Ozzy burger specifically because it has chimichurri on it. Sadly, I was disappointed how dry the burger was (black buns were also dry/stale). I did go late night about a couple hours before closing so maybe I got dry end of the stick. I will definitely try it again (extra sauce and maybe some mayo?)because the flavors were there but it didn't hit the mark for me. I also got the "animal style" fry which was ughmazing!!! In n Out who?! I def will be back to try more of their menu and absolutely need to try other loaded fry's they have on the menu. Keep being awesome!

Yelp
I'm not a big fan of burgers, but these burgers blew my socks off. Juicy patty, fluffy yet sturdy bun, and super tasty topping choices. I got the Dee Snider which is the peanut butter and jelly burger with sriracha (which tasted very thai-inspired) and my brother got the Ozzy Osbourne which is the blue cheese burger. BOTH SPECTACULAR. The hand cut fries were also amazing. And you gotta get a side of ranch. One of the best restaurant ranches I've ever had. Great staff, amazing rock and roll interior, a rocking live performance, and stellar food. I haven't tried much, but these were the best burgers I've ever had. Parking can be tricky, the public beach restrooms aren't great, and the floor isn't pristine because it's an open restaurant by the beach, but the food and experience were worth it.

Yelp
This place kicks ass. Went here for my Pop's bday with the whole fam & scarfed some burgs & brews. We got the Metallica burger & my Dad got the Immortal burger. Soooooo good & awesome beers in tap! I wanna donate some photos I took of Dio, Lemmy & Alice Coooper to you guys! Love this new spot!!

Yelp
Grill 'Em All lived up to the hype! It's such a cute place with its own uniqueness to it. When I say cute place I mean it's on the corner of a waterfront area and I know it probably gets packed. They have an outdoor patio that leads inside with a register and some seating. Their menu pulls up a variety of burgers and other options. My friend went with their regular burger and I tried the Long Beach dirtbag. I also got some fries and a drink to go with it. Long Beach dirtbag - 10/10 flavor wise it was super good and I love the chipotle ketchup with the garlic aioli. It paired well together. I love that the bun wasn't cold or dry, but actually toasted to perfection. Handcut fries - 9/10 the fries were seasoned and they gave a lot actually! Honestly I would share that side with a friend if you don't eat that much. A stranger gave us some jalapeño poppers & one of the highlights of the day, it was kind of them & the poppers were quite good. It's just a regular frozen Jalapeño popper but you can't go wrong with those! Pricing - 7/10 $16 on the burger $5 fries $3.50 drink I think the burger could have been like $14-15 if I might say. Pricing it was worth a little but eh

Yelp
This was my first time visiting Grill 'Em All, it was a great experience! You can't beat the view and the nice weather when sitting outside, enjoying your meal and looking across the Bay. The service was quick and easy, I enjoy when restaurant allow water for self-serve. The food was really good, only thing is that we wish the fries had just slightly more fries than toppings.
google avatar

Yelp
Good burgers when I tried them once in Arcadia! Was going to go to the new location a few months back on a Monday and on google they said it was open. Turns out they weren't. They have to update that!! My dad and I drove all the way from west La to eat here (and see an angel game) and ended going somewhere else. Bad taste

Yelp
Trying out this burger place for the first time. I noticed that more people came in closer to their closing time! This place seems popular. It is full of style, and they have hard rock music theme. I also noticed that they are selling their shirt at the cashier. It is in fast food style: order at the cashier, and the food will be delivered. Cashier recommended metallica burger, and primate fries. When reading the ingredients of the fries, it reminded me of animal style fries. However, it tastes 100x more delicious than animal style fries (5 stars). The fries was crunchy, and the grill onion was sweet! The burger meat was juicy, and tender. I like it, but it did not "wow" me (3 stars). They have both indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside, and could be cold at night. However, you will have the view of this nice beach while eating your meal. Totally worth it. Street parking is available, and it could be packed at night time.

Yelp
Grill 'Em All in Long Beach offers a fantastic dining experience right on the beach, providing a beautiful and relaxing scenery that adds to the overall enjoyment of the meal. The staff here is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making excellent and patient suggestions that helped us navigate the menu. The burgers were delicious and cooked exactly to order. We tried the Winger Burger and the Ozzy Osbourne, both of which were flavorful and satisfying. The French fries are outstanding, especially the Thousand Island and Grilled Onion Fries (I forgot their exact name). They were a perfect complement to our burgers. We truly enjoyed our visit and our food. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy some quality burgers and fries with a stunning beach view, Grill 'Em All in Long Beach is a must-visit spot.

Yelp
GREAT BURGERS, GREAT LOCATION. If you grew up listening to metal, you will love the theme. If you grew up eating burgers, you will love their burgers. If you grew up in Long Beach you will love their location. Expansive menu with creative flavor combinations. All worthy of a try. Staff was nice and informative. I got the Ozzy Osbourne. A chimichurri/ blue cheese/ garlic aioli burger. Real savory, thick patty on a black bun. Well balanced and moist. Burger reminds me of a mix of GD BRO BURGER and original umami burger. If you know you know. Worth 16.00 dollars. Also got the primate fries. if wingstop fries had a baby with in n out style animal fries, they would grow up to be primate fries. The view from the patio and restaurant are amazing. I could picture having a few beers here on a better day. I found parking in the nearby neighborhood. I will be back.

Yelp
Finally got the fam to hop on our bikes and head over to try a burger, on my birthday. Went last Saturday and it was incredible. I got the Ozzy Osbourne which comes on a black bun and chimmichurri. My two favorite things are burgers and chimmichurri. Never thought the two could be combined. LITERALLY BLEW MY MIND. With a side of Primate Fries and a delish craft beer, holy smokes. Wife and kids all got turkey burgers. They all loved them. So incredibly stoked that you guys landed right in our backyard! See you soon!

Yelp
Frequented the Alhambra location quite often since doors opened and was never dissatisfied with the burgers, glad to say the new location didn't disappoint in the taste category. However, have to admit that this spot needs a lot more personalization. Although the dining area is much smaller than Before, I think it has a lot of potential and could have more to the eye. I suggest bringing back the chalkboard wall menu, and bringing back the tv playing WWE at all times to name a few touches I was excited to see again. The location is right on the cove/ bayshore and causes a lot of sand to fall into drinks so be mindful and not bothered! Be prepared when visiting to search for parking as this was pretty busy on the weekend. Beer tasted great, and the Samoa Joe was awesome, we also ordered high on fries and ozzy Osborne fries.
google avatar

Yelp
Service was pretty fast and very friendly. Fun atmosphere - recommend sitting up top for a view of everything below. Good people watching. Got the Metallica burger - onions avo bacon ranch. Burger was pretty big and delicious except the bun was sort of hard and maybe stale? Lol. Wasn't the best. Burgers little pricey but ur paying to eat on the sand!
google avatar

Yelp
My friend and I stumbled upon this spot after walking at nearby Rosie's Dog Beach and were so excited because we remembered when they were in Alhambra! No matter if you're looking for a burger or loaded fries, everything is delicious. I ordered the Ozzy Osbourne without blue cheese and my friend got the High on Fries and puppy patty (which is huge, by the way). Servers are easygoing and kind and are happy to answer your questions about anything on the menu. Last but not least, the restaurant is tucked away next to the Bayshore playground and pier and you'll have a great view of the water while calling death to false burgers. I will be back again very soon!

Yelp
Metal , horny corner , beers , & burgs. Matt is a gem . Great views of the lagoon & finally a spot blasting metal music and not the same played out radio music . Had the the OG burgers ; Witte , Waste Em All , Frites & Chipotle Ketchup. Don't stop. Death To Smashburgers !!!!!!

Yelp
This is a great place to eat some outstanding burgers , if you're into heavy metal all these burgers are name after some outstanding Rock bands. This place sits on the beach, you can eat on top of the roof if you choose to.. parking is a little hard to come by, near the handball courts is side parking .. most importantly the staff is outstanding!!! Friendly!!! if you don't know what you want definitely ask the staff.. please keep in mind there are no combos .. believe me the burgers are very big and won't disappoint!!!
google avatar

Katie B.

Yelp
Everything was really good. Pretty overpriced though. $15 for the burger & $10 for the fries. The fries are similar to In - n - Out's animal style fries. I personally like the In - n - Out animal style fries better, but Grill em All does have a better portion size with their fries. My son got the chicken tenders which came with fries & that was $12 I believe. And we added a drink. With tip it came to over $50. Pretty ridiculous. But again, the food is good but I won't need to go back for awhile with those prices.

Castillo D.

Yelp
Shame they moved (they are now in Long Beach), but love them rotating the menu and the great food! My first menu item was The Behemoth (two grilled cheeses with some patties in between) and was a great experience
google avatar

Yelp
I actually. Really like this place. It's right on the beach. It's got a rock Feel to it, you can get Ozzy fries. It's pretty much just burgers, but they have some nice beers. And they have a few beers on tap. There are some insight seating some outside seating right on the beach and an upstairs patio. The servers are very nice. The owner was extremely friendly and the food is very very tasty. I love this place, even the music they're playing when you come in, they can get busy on the weekends. And parking could be difficult, but I haven't had a problem yet with parking and I've been there a few times

Yelp
4++ way overdue for this review. My last visit was a while back, but just heard that they are closing up shop in Alhambra as of 1/21/24 (?) : (. Leaving a review here for posterity and personal nostalgia. But it also sounds like they will be opening up in Long Beach so the denizens of Long Beach will hopefully be able to enjoy their themed burgers and craft beer soon. This place I believe started as higher end food truck and eventually moved into a brick and mortar location. It is known for their burgers and has a heavy metal theme if it isn't already obvious from the name and pun/ reference on a Metallica album. The folks here were super chill and friendly. The space itself was fun with lots of energy - with metal music and artwork adorning the walls. They also have delicious craft beers on tap. Like good ones (and I consider myself a craft beer geek). The prices seemed high, but before you balk too much at the prices, I have to say the burger and fries I ordered lasted me two meals. Two meals where I was pretty darn full afterwards, and I'm not a small person. I ended up getting the Metallica burger with the behemoth buns. It's huge. Style-wise, I would say it's more like an old school burger (vs. smash burgers, etc.) and there definitely isn't any skimping on the toppings / fillings of these sandwiches. Just an overall fun, vibey place with cool people and delicious burgers. Definitely recommend and I can't wait to visit their spot in Long Beach.

Yelp
Day trip down the Coast in search of the New Location of one of the Best Burgers in LA. Grill em All. Relocating from Alhambra to Long Beach. I was a fan by of the Truck and the Old Location. This new spot is and there are still a lot of head banger goules but it's at the beach lagoon. Kewl spot just very different. Burgers are still top shelf. Smaller patties and a larger price. But still Top Ten in LA.

Yelp
Great food the burgers were fantastic Truly my favorite new place in Long Beach Sears on tap couple of Seltzer options haircut fries that rival animal style super good joint but she always bump into somebody you know in Long Beach!

Yelp
LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! The theme is great! Nice artwork on the walls, the food is delicious, and the location is the cherry on top! Definitely going to try everything on the menu, but in due time. Not trying to turn into a hamburger myself :) it's less crowded during the week, so the roof top is a MUST when there is space. Can't wait to go back! YUM!!!!!

Yelp
Came in to cool down for a beer. The girls working there were hella cool and also fast. The food does smell good tho! The upstairs is so chill and cool view! Cheers!

Yelp
I've been here 3 times so far since the last few months and it will be my very last time coming here! Came here on a weekend night. From the time I waited in line to order food, and a long wait time again after to pickup the food, it took over an hour total! Seemed to take forever overall. I decided to try something new and ordered the Behemoth burger. This was not a burger, more like a sandwich with double stacked breads stuck with grilled cheese on both sides (not hamburger buns as I expected), cheddar, BBQ sauce tasted very bland inside the "burger," grilled onion and pickle. But the most important main ingredient- BACON was missing as I found out after my friend had ordered for me and told me after I got my meal that they had a sign at front saying they ran out of BACON! Which my friend didn't know my burger I ordered came with bacon, so to top it off my burger/ sandwich was the WORST flavorless ever I ate at this place. They didn't even offer to replace the bacon for something else and I still paid the regular price for a burger with no bacon. This was very upsetting and frustrating that ruined my dinner for the night. At least, the least they can do was sub the bacon for something else to make up for having no bacon like replacing it with fried egg, avocado turkey, veggie patty, etc. with no extra cost added for replacement!??? I didn't have the energy at the end of the night of waiting forever for my meal to go back and tell them to replace and lost my appetite. I didn't even finish half the burger meal. It was close to closing time at the end the evening and sat outside in the patio and they even turned off the lights on the patio. (So Rude!???) Seemed like they were hinting to customers to leave and that they were closing soon and ended up eating in the dark with no lights after finally getting my unpleasant meal. When I went to the front inside to ask for a to-go box, an employee that was at the front register noticed me and walked away avoiding me on purpose?? Yet another employee that was still around was nice enough to give me a to-go box and bag as I asked for. This was the last time and sadly will not be back.

Yelp
"Death to False Burgers" is their motto and I like how they live up to their motto serving authentic and delicious burgers made with fresh ingredients. Prepare to wear comfortable shoes as you'll be waiting in line all weekend with the ever popular burger joint Grill 'Em All closing their original Alhambra location on Jan 21st. The burger joint will be moving to Long Beach I came here around 11 Am to try out what everyone has been talking about for so long. Unfortunately, they couldn't open until 2 PM due to a lack of staff available(At the time)One of their staff who I assume was the manager informed to come back at 2 pm. I ran some errands and came back at 1 pm to check it out to see if they open earlier. I saw one family waiting outside. I decide to run some more errands and I came back to a high line at 2:13 pm. I ended waiting in line for one hour. The line kept growing longer and longer. Later, the manager recognized me and thanked me for coming back. It wasn't necessary, but it was nice to be acknowledged like that. Let me say..it was well worth the wait. It's really a shame they are closing this spot. I wish I went there sooner because this would have been my go-to burger joint. Grill 'Em Up is a metal themed burger joint with all sorts of metal memorabilia adorning the walls. Indie Wrestling on the television and metal music playing on the speakers. This burger spot rocks They actually started off as a Food Truck in 2009 and became the Food Network's first winner of the Great Food Truck Race in 2010. They had been at the Alhambra location for since 2013. Many of burgers are named after famous musicians like Ozzy Osborne or Dee Snider. What I ordered: Behemoth ($16.99) High on Fries ($11.00) The Behemoth Burger consists of two grill cheese sandwiches as buns, cheddar cheese, bbq sauce, bacon, grilled onion and a pickle. High on Fries consists of fries, shredded Buffalo chicken, blue cheese and wing sauce I'm a pretty big guy and I couldn't finish either one. You can easily share the Behemoth Burger and an order of fries and style have leftovers. My only complaint which can be considered a good thing to others is that having two grilled cheese sandwiches for buns is a bit overwhelming. It's too much bread for one bite. I want to taste more of the meat less of the bread. The fries were pretty good. I would have liked more fries considering the price. They cook the burgers to your liking. The service is really good. They are very helpful and friendly. They serve the food with jokes and a smile. The lady staff who served me my burger had a pretty good joke about earthquakes, "expecting a big one" Very fitting for the big burger I was expecting. My stomach is growling. I'm craving another burger as I write this. All in all. This spot serves up some legit burgers that was satisfy your taste buds. Stick to the burgers and you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
It's been a long while since I've had Grill 'Em All and now at their LB location, I can say that it's still the burger place any metal head should make the effort to visit. The crew was friendly and helpful. The burgers taste as amazing as always. The location is no longer in some store front, but is a little hut on the beach. But this adds more character to a restaurant that defies normalcy. It's over priced, but I know what I'm here for. Also Primite Fries are better than Animal Style fries.

Yelp
Great spot to relax with a burger and a few beers by the beach. The service and theme are great.

Yelp
I was excited a new burger spot opened by the beach. A great location with good views and a spot to grab a bite after kayaking/paddleboarding/etc. Parking can be tricky as it's only street parking. I ordered the winger, some fries and a drink and the total came out to $22 which I thought was pretty pricey for non restaurant food. My food took a long time to come out, I waited for about 15 minutes. My burger was also missing cheese but it still tasted okay/average. I really enjoyed the French fries though.

Yelp
I missed Grill Em All so much! Just as amazing as I remembered. Thank you for making the best burger I've had all year. Can't wait to eat my favorites all summer long. Also, the new location is super cute! So fun to hear metal blasting while chilling on the shore.

Definitely a place I need to come back and work my way trying the whole menu cuz damn, imma dreaming about this burger. Oh, also a really good beer selection!!!

Yelp
(Dined 01/09/24 TU @ 4:00pm): This joint knew how to grill all 'em burgers to perfection! I heard the sad news that Grill 'Em All was leaving their lone Alhambra location soon for a new spot in Long Beach (I imagine the property owner either raised the rent or declined to extend their lease). They've been one of my favorite local burger joints for many years (along with The Oinkster and Red Robin), so when I caught wind of this somber information, I had to make a final trek for one of their unforgettable burgers, a local craft beer, and loud heavy metal music. Did this final meal leave me with a warm and fuzzy memory of grilled burger goodness!? PURCHASE Alosta Brewing Co. Mrs. Adams Oatmeal Stout Beer 6.5% ABV 16floz Can ($9.25): Dark reddish brown color, caramel coffee maple roasted aroma, medium body, coffee maple roasted flavor, mouthfeel finish, and coffee maple aftertaste. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=3veCChigtWy03EYlyHliAg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Primate Style Fries ($9.00): A pile of crispy spud sticks covered in melted cheddar cheese, grilled onions, and thousand island dressing, this was their awesome ode to In-N-Out Burger's Animal Style Fries but heartier, messier, and sloppier. This was a meal itself, and every mouthful bite was amazing. You felt the repercussions the next day if you knew what I meant! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=CBPwNMsBcenCX8ROiRq01Q&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw Napalm Death 1/2lb Burger ($15.00): A massive messy burger constructed with a juicy thick beef patty, melted cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, pickled jalapeño, cream cheese, jalapeño poppers, and habanero aioli all barely held together by fluffy toasted buns, this obvious two-hander was a delicious mouthful of slop and spiciness that oozed down your lips and trailed onto your wrists as you cautiously took one bite after another. This was death by burger, and I couldn't have been happier! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=ic0SMte4k6uvFQD4pG18aQ&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw SERVICE I was greeted by a woman at the order counter who quickly took my order, and paid right then and there, and was told to sit anywhere (I chose the counter). Once I situated myself, she brought over my beer, and minutes later the rest of my food arrived. After that, I was left to my own devices and wasn't checked on again until my glass and food trays were empty and collected. All of this was fine with me - thank you! PARKING (FREE) One of the many beautiful things about the city of Alhambra was that parking was free and plentiful everywhere. In this particular case, I parked at a structure that also shared the next door Regal Edwards Cinema and other businesses - 'nuff said. ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE Located in a small dining/shopping area anchored by a Regal Edwards Cinema along bustling Main St., the restaurant was a bit crammed with chairs/tables, booths, and barstools/counter to enjoy your email, an assortment of framed paintings, murals, stickers, skateboard decks, and more hung on the walls. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=sZJvzxjwX96Lkcarwi9FLA&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw A large menu hung directly above the order counter. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=_2iEe-Qb3YBnElV88V_L2A&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw The kitchen was fully open which allowed you to watch your food get prepared. Decent amount of natural lighting came in through the front windows and doors, while various electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were a couple TVs while heavy metal music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=tAGbXQgoNcxMZDphGYSExg&userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL Grill 'Em All continued to be one of my favorite local specialty burger places in Southern California, and I wished them all the best with their new location. Unfortunately, Long Beach was out of my way nor did I do any business in the surrounding areas, so the likelihood of me visiting them was slim. However, the LBC was getting a wonderful addition to their community, and it may actually thrive more in that better-suited demographic. The prices were good or the amount or the portion size, the beer tap was constantly changing, and the service was no-frills and straightforward. I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $37.00 BEFORE any discounts and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS

Yelp
Cute and fun! A great place to grab a refreshing cold one after a day at the beach, or after completing a nearby activity. The vibe is cool but the music is a little intense. If you're into metal/ screamer music, you live here now

Yelp
I've been waiting for this place to open. Actually been waiting for a place on the water in this area for a while. I stoped by while they are in the soft opening stage. They are in the process of ironing out the kinks. With that said, I still give them a 5. The food was delicious, prices were about typical but not bad for the view it comes with(excited for upper deck to open). My husband and I shared the High on fries and Napalm Death burger. We split both with a beer and I'd say we both left feeling good. Hoping that they decide to put an Amber or red on tap. They mostly had lagers and IPA's. This will most definitely be the spot for summer. It has some indoor seating but it's really going to be about the nice outside seating they have on the patio and soon to be balcony. If you're into heavy metal you should check this place out. Uniquely themed from the menu names to metal decor throughout the inside. Overall this place is perfect for a lunch date or as a drop in to satisfy your hunger or thirst while hanging out on the beach.

Yelp
This is hands down was my most favorite gourmet burger spot in the SGV! A bit sad that they are moving to Long Beach but glad that they are still drivable all the way from Alhambra. The vibes and staff are always cool and friendly even when super busy. Immortal Burger and the bread pudding are my favorites. Fries are pretty good too with their chipotle ketchup!

Yelp
Their customer service is great! The cashier made us feel like home. The ambiance looks just like the old location, but beach-ier (of course), and the parking is just like In-N-Out...difficult but you'll find a spot. I was so excited to eat my food until I realized....the patties are small. They aren't thick or heavy like I remembered. It was worth the price before but not this time. I know they're starting all over again, but I'm willing to give them another try. *top photo was Alhambra location. *bottom photo is LB location.

Yelp
The food was great, we had the winger which is a classic cheeseburger, I asked for mine well done and it was perfect. And we had the Nepalm Death burger. The nepalm was 10/10, full of flavor satisfied our burger craving. The wings were also good, we liked that they were bigger wings with good amount of meat on the bone. The service was great, the cashier was very nice. The ambiance is giving "rokera" vibes iykyk
