Can’t be more disappointed than this. Waited for 10 minutes to be seated although had a table reserved, no one would come even say hi. Finally we were seated, took literally 30 minutes for someone to take our orders, someone came said “hi” after 20 mins and said coming soon, but nope!! Finally after 30 mins, when we said what we wanted, she goes, awee sorry, there is only one barg, no chenje, no kubideh kabob is available, which they should have told us when we arrived! The food itself was also pretty ordinary, the “one skewer barg” that was available had a taste to it which I could not have more than a bite! To be totally fair, seemed like they didn’t expect that many guests and they didn’t have enough staff and they were all super overwhelmed! Which I would call bad management, rather than bad service, because the staff were lovely.

This has been my favorite spot for Persian kebabs since 2020. If you’re looking for authentic flavors, this is the place to go. Everything from the appetizers to the desserts is consistently excellent. They truly offer great value for the money you spend. I used to be a devoted fan of their koobideh, but I can confidently say that their kabab torsh is absolutely outstanding now. Don’t forget to bring ur wine…

Great spot for Persian food! The Iranian sour kebab was full of flavor, but the Barg kebab really stood out, super tender and perfectly grilled. Highly recommend!

Wandered into this place with my wife purely by accident — and wow, what a delicious accident it turned out to be! At first glance, it's a simple spot. Nothing fancy, no chandeliers or gold-plated menus. Just chill music, humble décor, and an atmosphere that whispers, “Hey, relax and eat.” So we did. And let me tell you — the food slapped. The chicken brochette? Juicy, flavorful, grilled like it owed me money. The potatoes? Crispy little golden bites of happiness. The salad? Fresh enough to make me feel healthy. And the garlic bread? Oh man, I was starving and that thing disappeared faster than my motivation on Monday mornings. All that for just $25? I left full, happy, and kind of proud of myself for stumbling into such a gem. 10/10 would accidentally come here again.

I recently ordered takeout from Grill Sélect and tried the Kabab Koobideh and Kabab Soltani. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the cashier was friendly, taking time to suggest side dishes. Even though I was only there briefly, I noticed how cozy and clean the restaurant was—a great first impression! As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. Grill Sélect truly brings authentic Persian flavors to the table. I can’t wait to try more from their menu! Highly recommended for quality Persian cuisine.

Really nice family restaurant, I went there with my family, the waiter was very nice, and answered all our questions, the menu has Greek and Persian food, we ordered almost from everything on the menu, I got the Kebab dish which was amazing the meat is well seasoned and melt in the mouth, the chicken was tender juicy and very well seasoned, grilled salmon was great also, and decent size, fillet mignon was also juicy and delicious, rice, soup, and salad was average to good. Overall experience was great, prices were reasonable compared to the portions of the plates. Also you can bring your own wine! I would go back again. Recommended for the families!

The service was amazing and so with the food! The ambiance was nice and quiet for a Saturday late lunch just the way I like it! I love that it's byow but we didn't bring any but totally will next time! Awesome owner and waitress she was kind abs helpful when I asked about the salad dressing. ( taste like subway sauce the og of all sauces lol) Would 100% come back and already told everyone that they have the best filter mignon brochettes I've ever had.

They are friendly!!! The restaurant is small with about seating for only 40 people with only 2 waitresses. They waitresses were really busy and the service was good considering they jumping from table to table.They brought us hot pita brushed with garlic. My wife ordered a chicken stick with salad which she said was good. I ordered the chicken pita with house salad and potatoes. The chicken was tendered but the pita was empty with a slice of tomato and a little tzatziki. The potatoes were roasted and soggy . They told me afterwards on their secret menu they have amazing fries. The overall meal was ok nothing special. Sorry this was not a home run meal. We will give it another try.

Service was terrible, waitresses did not feel welcoming at all. We were a group of 10 under 18 of age girls and each got looked down at by the service. The waitresses rolled their eyes and we waited a good 1:30h to receive our food. It was pretty good but the attitude was not needed.

I had an appointment in the west Island and since I do not come here often, I went to a Persian/Greek restaurant. It was a nice place, decorated with persian art. We ordered to Persian dishes but noticed that most guest ordered greek. We ordered two persian soups called ash reshte. Which I found very average, I definitely had better and I had the chicken kabab, and my partner had a filet mignon kabab. Both dishes were good my only issue with it was the rice. Persian rice is made a specific way and I felt it wasn't cooked enough or as we Persians say " dam nakeshide bood " But overall the meat part of it was excellent. I do have to mention that before our meal the brought homemade puta bread which was excellent. It was Saturday noon so it was pretty quiet, there was only one waiter who seemed it wasn't to happy working that day or took he sweet time. If you are in this area it is definitely worth a try.

I've been 3 times already and I absolutely love this place. The food is so good. Their ash soup is divine. Heir meats are excellent. Always well cooked and super tasty. It's a bring your own wine which is a big plus. Prices are good. The place itself lacks a bit of love but the quality of the food makes up for that. The service is quite slow but the staff is very friendly. Definitely a must in the West Island.

Huge quantities of quality food for for the right price. Top notch service! I suggest the souvlaki or their kebab style meat. Perfect every time.

It is the best Persian restaurant in Montréal. Kebabs are excellent and service is so perfect.

Don't base your opinion on what the places look like. The decoration is not much but the food is really great. The rice is insane. I'll go back for sure. Service is also extremely friendly. I had a Lebanese soup as an entrée and it was extremely tasty.

My wife and I shared a great meal here during our lunch hour. It was relatively quiet, with what looked like mostly regulars meeting there, always a comforting sign. My Greek salad was a fair size but very good, and our main courses very tasty as well. Service was professional and refreshingly friendly.

The food here is very good, great service with nice staff. Food plates are very big. Great value! Don't come for the romantic ambience. Great for families!

A great spot to have an excellent meal at a very good price, plus it's a b.y.o.b. Very good service. The decor is average but the food is top notch! The calamari are the best I've had.
