I rarely review airport restaurants or bars, but sometimes they are worthy. Desean is a fabulous bartender and the food was very good. We flew in on a red eye and had a lay over so an Early Bird Special and two Bloody Mary's it was. Quickly seated, Pleasant staff and good food. I'll be back.

Google
Me and my mom had breakfast here yesterday before our flight and it was pretty good. I ordered the Presidential Scramble and some orange juice. I was glad to see that the portions were huge because it was a tad bit pricey. They don’t have the craziest dishes but it’s decent enough to start the day off right.

Yusuf Yassin

Google
Got the buffalo chicken starter and it was really good with a nice portion size. I also had the cheeseburger which was solid. Maria was the sweetest and super friendly, big shoutout to her. It was definitely a little pricey but overall good place to wait for your flight.

Google
Food in the airport - it has it's own category from outside locations. I wanted breakfast and they delivered the goods...good service, good food and good coffee. Prices? well, you know, it's in the airport. But I 'd call it reasonable. For airport food, I give it a 5.

Lottie Ferguson

Google
Listen, Desean is the truth! He is an amazing bar tender. The food was OK, drinks were excellent. I'll be looking for him on my next visit.

Google
Absolutely disgusting food - got the flatbread to go only to find out that it was completely raw The cheese had not even cooked on top and it was possibly the most disgusting thing I ever had Avoid if you can

Google
I never write reviews but my experience at this restaurant was not even at the ok standard (especially coming from someone who works in the industry). Food was good, but the service I experienced and witnessed from other tables was sub par. My waitress asked for my order and drink and that’s about all I saw of her besides for payment and dropping the items off. When she dropped off my cocktail I asked for water and she looked at me then walked away. I went without water the whole meal. Once the food came I noticed other people never received their water or the gentleman next to me even received the wrong meal and how it was handled made us both feel awkward. At the end of my meal I closed out and as I am finishing up closing the tab the server puts my unfinished cocktail on my plate covered in syrup before I even got the chance to finish it. The worst part is every time I looked up I saw my server standing in the corner on her phone or sitting at the table with the rest of the staff chatting it up rather than checking on their tables or even providing the simplest service of water… now I know this is an airport, but still. I have never had such bad service either in an airport or regular dining place.

Google
This 5star is strictly for the bartender. They are super nice and when they saw someone left a bag (after making sure we were good at the bar) went searching for the guest- no one does that anymore. That’s a good egg right there- keep them on board 🥰

Yelp
This review isn't about the food necessarily but about the servers more specifically about our bartender Desean. This is your normal airport restaurant. Someplace to get a quick bite and a drink before getting on your flight. Ordered a Bloody Mary and shared an avocado toast with my wife. The Bloody Mary was good and the avocado toast something to put in our belly's. But what's important is what drew me into this place. Waiting on our flight and needing to fill up our water bottles I went in search of a fill station the closest one to us was being worked on so now comes the challenge of finding one. I look around and from across the building terminal I can see a young man waving at someone. I realize he's waving at me and mouthing the word "water". I walk towards him and he asks if I need to fill up my two water bottles. I say yes hand them over and he asks if I want ice and lemon in them. Mind you I'm not buying anything he's just helping me out. I want to tip him but I don't have any cash so I ask if I could order a soda (I don't drink sodas) just so I could tip him. With a smile he says it's his pleasure and that a tip isn't required and that I have a great day.... I walk back to my wife with filled water bottles a plastic cup with some lemon slices and tell her we need to go order something from this place so I can tip this young man. Thank you Desean for making this amazing customer experience for me by just filling up some water bottles.

Yelp
Solid Airport food with expected drawbacks The burger was a solid choice--basic but satisfying--and the crispy fries were a highlight. Service was just okay, but the food came out quickly (about 15 minutes), which is a plus for airport dining. While the dining area wasn't the cleanest, it's in line with the overall state of the terminal. Prices are steep, as expected at airports, but this spot, alongside Cava, stands out as one of the better options in Terminal B.

Yelp
Honestly, I've been here many times and every dish I've had exceeds my expectations. Yes, I am grading on "airport dining curve". But it's pretty awesome to be consistently impressed by the food and drinks you can get within sight of your departure gate. Also, service here is obviously valued by management. I've seen servers with years long tenures here and they really show up for us customers. Pro tip, a few of the seats have easy access to outlets for charging phones and computers.

Yelp
There for the food , drink and waitress. A big Zero for the hostess/host. As you would expect everything at an airport is expensive and pretty average , this place is just that. The biggest negative is coming in to eat before your flight and being a party of one and being completely IGNORED! They would look like around me and seat the couples or more tables, after 20 minutes of this I said, Can I please have a two seater? You would have thought I asked for gold. Finally got seated, but everyone behind me in line waiting was fed and gone before I got my first drink. This just felt rude.

Yelp
While heading home from DCA to Atlanta, I made a pit stop at the grille district for a meal to sustain me through the evening. This restaurant offers seating options at the bar or in a booth. It's one of the best choices on Concourse B. The booths here have plugs, convenient for charging your laptop or phone while waiting. I opted for the fried Cod and fries for my meal. The entree also came with the option to add coleslaw, all for under $25. My airport meal not only offered great value but was also expertly prepared, bursting with flavor, and served hot and delicious. The customer service was excellent. The manager visited my table, ensuring that my meal was to my liking. When passing through DCA, I plan to revisit this restaurant and explore other options on the menu.

Yelp
I look forward to seeing DeShaun every time I fly into DC ---and for their yummy breakfast. Definitely stop by for enlightening and engaging conversation-- and for a great bite to eat.

Yelp
Grille District is one of the better food options in this terminal at DCA; I've visited several times in the last few years. Usually there's been a small line, but it has emptied in ten minutes or so. The overall space is quite tiny; and they do pack in the people. But once you are inside and seated, you at least feel you have a (small) space of your own, away from the press and jostle of the human flow. It's not a terrible spot to read or watch the game if you are a bit early for your flight. Service on my visits has been efficient and reasonably friendly (for an airport restaurant). As for food, it varies from OK to good. On my last visit, the grilled salmon plate was surprisingly tasty, with a nice Thai glaze. On earlier visits, the burgers and fries were good enough to satisfy before some long flights home to CA. The beer list here isn't huge, but they do have one or two microbrews on tap. Quality control, however, is mixed. On my last visit, I ordered an IPA from Dogfish Head (yay!), but it tasted wrong (I suspect dirty tap lines). But I've had good pours here too. Between 3 and 4 stars, but rounding up, just cuz. Note: Rating is curved against other DCA airport choices. If this was on the outside, it would lose at least a star.

Yelp
Etsegenet was amazing and the food was wonderful. We had to wait a little for our daughter to pick us up and this was perfect! The Long Island Ice Tea was wonderful and the desserts were spectacular

Yelp
9/21/23 It's time to get some food in me. Some of the shops that sold food didn't seem appealing to me. Places like Starbucks or Dunkin Aka Dunkin Dounut's is to generic...? Commercial..? How about to well known. I wanted to try a place I haven't been to before. I ended up getting the Chicken and biscuits with cheese and bacon. The sandwich comes with papas (potatoes grilled). The service was adequate. The guy I met was friendly enough and we talked for a breif moment. I got my food to go and I have now slowly finished it off. Overall, the food was okay, but not great. Still, the food filled me up and I will be sure to get some sleep on the plane. I can now say I have eaten and drunk something from this business. The whole order came to $29.70. The apple juice was costly, but good. No free refills. Overall, the service is good, the Chicken tender sandwich lacked flavor. 4 stars for this place.

Yelp
The service was absolutely top notch. Always available, friendly, and the timing couldn't be better. When I went to order a second drink, they ran out of one of the ingredients, our stellar bartender Hanna Ayele offered to swap the missing ingredient and the drink was actually better! She is super personable and accommodating. If you ever find yourself at Reagan International Airport, make sure the pop through. If you're lucky, Hanna will be the one that helps you.

Yelp
Was not impressed with the visit here as I had some extra time before a flight and was looking to get something a little nicer at a sit in restaurant. The decor looked a little nicer and there were booths but the experience wasn't really any different than going to a fast casual option. The service was not quick and the food items were plated a little nicer but not really any better quality than eating elsewhere. The orange juice and coffee were fairly plain, Not unusual for airport food, just priced a bit higher than going outside of the airport. The early bird tried to fit a full breakfast into a bagel, but the flavor was very mild and it ended up being difficult to eat as the filling was too much for the bread and it was difficult to keep the elements contained within the sandwich. The potatoes on the side felt a bit underseasoned and were not crisp. The chicken and biscuit was quite underwhelming compared to similar breakfast items. The biscuit itself was pretty nice, however the chicken was a little overcooked, not crispy, and a bit underseasoned. Without gravy, there also wasn't really anything to tie both elements together so it was overall less satisfying than any regular fried chicken sandwich. Overall, not bad for airport food but it didn't provide the experience that I was expecting.

Yelp
My expectations for an airport restaurant are usually pretty low, so I didn't have a lot of hope for this place. Boy, was I surprised! The menu had a lot of good choices and our server was excellent. I had a turkey club sandwich with a side of onion rings and I really enjoyed them. A couple of my colleagues had the flatbread pizza, which also looked good!
google avatar

Yelp
My chicken Cesar Salad was absolutly delicious!! I am very impressed. Lettuce is crisp and freash. Chicken is soft, moist, flavorful. Dressing tasty. Croutons fresh and crispy. Sliver Parmesan cheese is fresh abd delicious. $14.75 for the salad then add $8.00 for the chicken. If you are not in a rush (like 2 hours before you board) I recommend to try the food here. Service: hardly none. Booth I was sent to seat at was dirty, wet, food crumbs. I then asked to sit on a table top. That was dirty too. Took a long while to get SeHerr. (15 minutes). No menus. Food came out fast. Booth space from table to tummy/chest was ot wide at all. But it did have a charging spot on the wall above the table, that was great! Inside: Not so clean Outside: located in between gates B17 to B22 Good bar top space with charging stations. I would come back to try out their menu.
google avatar

Yelp
Definitely no frills airport food but the pretzels were everything so I'd recommend if you're at DCA in terminal 2, gate b, grab a bite. Awesome staff! Great little spot.

Yelp
Unfortunately, while trying to return to NC from DC, I went to the wrong airport and missed my 9am flight. I was able to get another one same day at 4pm. Once I finally got to DCA, I was hungry. I went to my gate and was fortunate to be close to some eating establishments. I looked at what was offered and ultimately chose here to pig out before starting my diet back. Grille District is in Terminal C by gates 15+. They had a menu posted right outside the entrance, which was great. The host allowed my son and I to choose our seats. We initially sat at a large 4 person table for space but moved to 2 person table that had an socket so I could charge my dying phone. After sitting in new seat, the server changed. My kid wasn't hungry and I knew what I wanted. The waitress came over promptly and I ordered at 2:39pm. I got wings sweet Thai Buffalo wings as an appetizer and the 2 hands burger (minus coleslaw and pickles). The burger comes with chips but I replaced it with sweet potatoes fries, which is an up charge of $3. Burgers and fries go together so I'm not sure why it cost more to have fries over chips.... But I really didn't need all this food but i start my diet tomorrow and want to enjoy one more day lol. I initially ordered us waters, which came at 2:41pm. The food came around 2:48pm. I then ordered an alcoholic beverage: Half and Half. Honestly, I was disappointed with it for the price it was. It tasted like there was no alcohol at all and was small. I wouldn't recommend. The wings were good but not exactly what I was expecting. Since it said Sweet Thai, I was under the impression that was regular wings with the sauce. However, it's both. I could take the mild spiciness of the Buffalo flavor. It was good, but just expected. Also, the wings are like mini chicken tenders. There is no option for bone in. The fries were tasty and so was my burger. I got full and took a pics of burger and 3 wings on the plane to which my son got hungry and ate. Overall, it was like $50 for the food. I mean, it's airport food so it was expected. There was another place I was going to go but was more focused on cocktails, didn't have much seating, and had a limited food menu. However, the prices were somewhat better. If I were in the area again and needed food, I'd return.

Yelp
For $20 total I got a 9 oz pour of quite good red wine and an overflowing heap of fresh, delicious, piping hot french fries--I was on the brink of starvation and couldn't finish them despite a valiant effort. Truly a steal for an airport "meal" at a hectic time of day; other folks' meals looked pretty good too, and a good sign that everyone around me cleaned their plates. Service is super friendly and quick and there are usually some interesting characters to strike up a friendly conversation with at the bar.

Yelp
Great Food, Excellent Service by Hanna our server and Tiera the Supervisor and the atmosphere was amazing! We stopped here to have a quick bite and brew before we boarded our long flight home to LA and were warmly greeted by Tiera who sat us (and checked on us later too!) Then Hanna our server attended to us with a fun friendly attitude, helped us with beer selection (loved that!) and quickly served our food and drinks, always with a great big beautiful smile. We ordered the Turkey Club with their signature chips (SO GOOD) along with a DogFishHead IPA and it was a scrumptious meal. This was a great fun experience and we highly recommend this great spot to everyone!

Yelp
Was super disappointed that they weren't serving the French toast. I was looking forward to having actual breakfast food after being disappointed on a business trip. I ended up having a breakfast sandwich bagel. It was good but not memorable. Good for airport food.

Nichole B.

Yelp
Frankly, terrible customer service. There are other options in terminal 2. Save yourself the trouble and the blood pressure dealing with folks like "April" (not sure it's the real name of the person working there). The couple behind me went to another spot and so did I eventually.
google avatar

Emma H.

Yelp
With really fast, friendly service and a decent breakfast menu, this is a good pick for a quick sit-down meal close to the B gates at DCA. Food is quick to come out and servers are good at helping you get out of the restaurant in time to board flights.
google avatar

Dan C.

Yelp
Four Star airport food that doesn't cost a fortune. Sandwiches - solid. Turkey club is good. Fries are always fresh. Burgers - top notch. No, not steakhouse quality, but easily as good as Five Guys. Salads are fine, good ingredients. Far exceeds what a place has to do to be in an airport.
google avatar

Phil M.

Yelp
Stopped in for an adult beverage. Fantastic Old Fashioned and wife loved her dirty martial. Isn't cheap but it is in the airport.
google avatar

Vivian T.

Yelp
This place advertises that it's open until 8pm but closed its kitchen at 730pm. I also watched as the bartender picked her nose with her mask mostly off. She then wiped her fingers on her pants then continued handling things at the bar. I thought about staying for food because the menu looked good and I'm just starving. But they tell me first that only the bar is open then after I settle in that the kitchen is closed. Probably for the best that they were not serving food any more. Definitely did not feel up for a drink between the attitudes and the hygiene. Left and went to Cava where they seemed surprised by the question of of they're still open. They were all masked and friendly even though some things were out as they wrap up for the day. Thank goodness!
google avatar

LaTasha A.

Yelp
Airport food. Service was great. Pricing was actually very reasonable. Also impressed with the portion sizes. Definitely a great option to eat, watch football and kill time before the delayed flight.
google avatar

Jenny T.

Yelp
The line at the great American bagel place was 10 deep so we chanced it and went to this place to get to go breakfast 30 min before our departure time. Bagel line had probably gone through twice by the time we got our food. The breakfast food itself was unremarkable and heavy. Would come back since its only one of few options...
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
Pretty standard airport joint. Average food for higher than average prices. Sat at the bar and ordered a Lagunitas ($9) and Mahi Fish Tacos($16). They were heavy on the mango salsa and slaw and light on fish and flavor. Service was a little on the slow side for an airport.
google avatar

Jasmine T.

Yelp
The tator tots were delicious. The customer service needs work. I asked for the countertop where I planned to sit to be cleaned off and after some time to woman behind the bar came w a dingy rag and wiped /smudged what was on the top around. I pointed that out and she argued that she can't see it to get it......Sooooo I suppose nothing gets cleaned here. I pulled out my Lysol wipes and did someone else job so that was fun. The bartender brought out my food and gave it to someone else and after they inspected it and realized it did not belong to them the bartender picked up the food and walked over to give it to me and said "I suppose you want another one". She took the food back in the kitchen and for some strange reason the kitchen workers looked in my direction. SOME NERVE. The tiny airport already has limited options for food at least make the experience pleasurable.
google avatar

Chris H.

Yelp
I guess a good place to catch a quick bite before heading on the plane. Lagunitas beer and hummus is all I need for a quick bite.
google avatar

Mikayla F.

Yelp
DeSean was such an amazing server! He made me an amazing drink and the food was delicious!

Yelp
Good convenient place to stop while catching a flight. Service was great. Breakfast was ok. Made a mistake ordering the chicken sausage. Otherwise, good breakfast.
google avatar

Yelp
I have to say, I was surprised. I had a great lunch at this DCA Airport dinner in Terminal B. I just ordered the fish and chips. The fish was FRESH and not cooked from frozen. The batter was not too heavy and the fries were just right. My server, Hanna, was very warm and friendly and even though the bar was typical airport noisy, it was over all good.
google avatar

Mike B.

Yelp
We came here about 3pm on a Monday while we were waiting for a flight. The place was pretty busy most tables were occupied and it's also pretty tight. We were able to get a seat at a table for two along the outer edge. They also have counter seating which looks like it has charging capability. We were given menus right away and we checked them out. There's a variety of items including salads, wraps, burgers, flatbreads and fish and chips. It looks like they have a full bar with 6 beers on tap as well as wine. My wife ordered the chicken caesar salad and I chose to try the district burger with fries. Our meals were delivered surprisingly quick and looked really good. We both thought they were pretty tasty. I think each of our meals was about $14 which is probably appropriate for an airport. Overall it was a good experience and we were satisfied. This is a good place to stop if you have the time!
google avatar

Jake H.

Yelp
i'm travel nurse here in DMV area and on my way home to visit family in houston. i got hungry and decided to try this airport dine in. I was help with in 5 minutes of sitting the bar very attentive bar tender im impressed. I order buffalo wings but i was serve buffalo chicken tenders. Oh well might as well give it a try, not bad at all it's soft inside crunchy outside i'm satisfied. Price was airport decent, food quality is fair and staff wear mass and gloves in the cooking area that's good sign! Definitely worth the money.
google avatar

Raechel R.

Yelp
What. Did. I. Just. Eat. Bad service. Rude people. My food was so covered in oil and grease that I couldn't even shove it down my gullet. Don't go here unless you want oily fake eggs, reheated food, and week old potatoes.
google avatar

BJ H.

Yelp
Food was okay. The biscuit tasted freshly made, as they advertise but the chicken was dry beyond belief. Potatoes were good. Not over cooked or under cooked. Service however, I have to say the staff look like they all just got out of bed with no sleep and angry with the world. For this I have to give them 3 out of 5 stars.
google avatar

James M.

Yelp
Great place to eat/charge your phone and avoid the mask wearing while in terminal B. Food is ok, service is fast. Prices as you'd expect, ridiculous.
google avatar

Jane B.

Yelp
The employees were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! I loved the sweet potato fries and the district burger!!! Overall a great score. A tip: they have plugs so you can charge your phone or laptop while you're here!
google avatar

Sheena F.

Yelp
Restaurant added a $60 tip to my bill after I settled my charge. I hope this is just an oversight, but after calling the restaurant, in excess of 22 missed phone calls, I am not sure what to do, or how to contact. At this point, I feel the need to just dispute the charge with AMEX and hope for the best.

Yelp
Grille District is easily the best (read: also the only) option for a sit-down breakfast in Terminal B (at least the left side with the lower gates...there are a few more options in B/C with the upper gates). I came here with colleagues this morning and one was arriving later than the other two of us; our server, Michael, was happy to have her meal ready when she arrived and even kept switching it out with fresher versions of the same dish so that her meal would be hot. They have tea--I mean, it's Lipton bagged but it'll do at 6 AM--and good orange juice. I had the District Breakfast, including scrambled eggs with cheese, breakfast potatoes, chicken sausage (which is really quite flavorful) and wheat toast. It's really a great value for airport food, at $12. While the eggs aren't necessarily anything to write home about, I really like the chicken sausage. They can also set you up with a mimosa if you're wanting to be bubbly. Our food came out in like 5 minutes and 2 seconds or something. It was blazing fast, so fast that I was almost suspicious but everything was pretty fresh. I'm rarely in the lower part of Terminal B but when I fly United again, I know where I'm coming! Side note: They will probably ask you how much time you have until your flight to pace out the orders (Michael did), but if not, let them know if you're in a hurry.
google avatar

Cal H.

Yelp
I stopped in here on my way out of town on 5-6-2019. My server was "Fasika." I ordered the District Breakfast with bacon and orange juice. Eggs were ordered scrambled dry. Bacon crisp. Toast, no butter, but with jelly. Airport breakfast food was okay, but the attentiveness of the server was poor. Oh, the orange juice. About 6 ounces for $4.50. I know, I know. It's the airport and it costs more. Tip: Please pay attention to the customer. I can say that I won't be back.
google avatar

Laura M.

Yelp
Wonderful dirty martini!, great fast and friendly service. Buffalo chicken wrap was so so so sad. Three pieces of chicken and a point of coleslaw. The burgers looked good. I'd stick with that if you are stopping here to eat.
google avatar

Darren G.

Yelp
Hmm I'm.not sure why other people rated this a measly 3.25 stars on average! Maybe it's because of the limited seating and possibly long wait times that skewed people's opinions! On a whim after looking over the menu I went with the pork belly tacos, and I am sooooo glad that I opted to get them! The pork belly tacos are absolutely ravishing! Actually these are some of the best and most unique pork belly tacos that I've had. These prok belly tacos are glazed with maple syrup, topped with pico and served on top of mini pita breads! They're a Little sloppy to eat but definitely worth it if you're stuck at Reagan International! Also they have a decent selection of brews and wine on tap!
google avatar

Jennifer S.

Yelp
It was ok, got the fish and chips. Was crispy but really bready. Had to peel half of it off. Then the flies came. Fruit flies all over my food about 5-10 of them. Caught two in my glass trying to keep them off my food. Lots of chips, not much fish, 1 1/2 tablespoons of coleslaw... pretty disappointing. Not much flavor but the veggies would have tasted nice had there been more.
google avatar

Deirdre G.

Yelp
Came here for a quick breakfast before my morning flight. The service was awesome! They got my order quickly, delivered the food quickly. I was there for a total of 30 minutes! I got the district breakfast and added cheese to my eggs. Some of the potatoes were under cooked but overall it was good and filling before my flight. They even have to go coffee cups so no need to stop by Starbucks before your flight! They are located right by gates 17-23 (approximately) so you can even see your gate in case you're strapped for time.
google avatar

Natasha W.

Yelp
DeSean was the best!! We really enjoyed our service! The cobb sandwich was delicious

Yelp
I was so pleasantly surprised to get a good sit down meal at the DC airport. But the fish and chips was quite good. What stood out even more was the impeccable service from the wait staff. My waiter was Phil, who was pleasant, attentive and accurate. This was truly a pleasant experience.
google avatar

JT W.

Yelp
Early morning flight so I was glad they were open for breakfast. Very average breakfast scramble and the French toast deep fried bread dough.

David K.

Yelp
Came to DCA early in the morning... the bar had great service and my presidential scramble came out very quickly. The food was pretty standard but very good.

Aaron S.

Yelp
Maybe my standards for airport restaurants are too high. I want a place to sit down, look over a menu (with multiple pages), place an order, and get a meal-dessert-coffee-all of the above. And when that meal is breakfast before a flight, I need to load up. Thankfully DC literally left a good taste in my mouth for my last one. Sitting there, at 5 am, I ordered a Presidential Scramble. Just imagine chicken sausage, peppers, onions, tomatoes, cheddar cheese served atop thick toasted bread with a side of breakfast potatoes. Having a two person table to myself, I was able to sit back and read some news (it is DC after all) while I waited. The team here was friendly and my water and coffee never went empty. I ate that entire breakfast and, as I boarded my flight, I was grateful for every delicious bite. I was more than full until my next meal and found myself nodding off while in the air. If this is anywhere near my terminal the next time I am flying out of Reagan National, I will be eating here again.
