Have driven by and been meaning to check this place out for a while. The scrambled with cheese is so good! I added garlic and herb cream cheese to it because why not; so tasty. Unique latte and chai options. Will be treating myself to this place on the regular 🤤

This is a really great neighborhood spot for coffee. The menu is really inventive, and the beans they use are really premium. Amanda, the owner, is very involved in the day to day and makes every customer feel special. They even have a biscuit waiting for my dog every day. My favorites: -Coffee Soda -Cortado -Espritzo

Cute little coffee shop in a shed with lots of charm. Despite the petite size, it does offer a great coffee menu and a small selection of pastries. Funky decor in the waiting / seating area goes pretty well with this place that looks more like an expanded food truck than a storefront. Don't miss it if you pass by.

This is a cozy, kind neighborhood place. The outdoor seating is a little weird for the Pacific Northwest, but it's Portland. They have a bit of a branding issue: is it Grindhouse Coffee or is it Sexy Coffee? Either way, they have good coffee, great service, and some delicious breakfast treats.

The choices are amazing and the coffee was great!! My husband got a honey lavender coffee and it was so good. I am defit going to be going back to try the coffee soda, I have never heard of it before and I bet it is just as good as the coffees we had!

My partner and I used to live within walking distance of GrindHouse and ever since we moved, we still make the 15 minute drive because the drinks, food, and staff are divine!! All baristas are amazing, kind and very efficient & skilled at their jobs. I look forward to my mocha and bagel every time I have a day off :)

Cute neighborhood food cart located near the corner of Denver and Rosa Parks. Coffee is decent though the flavored coffees are a bit heavy on the dairy and lacking in flavor. Recommend just the brew. The food on the other hand is really good and makes a visit worth it.

Used to love this place but about a year ago the coffee/espresso drinks started tasting really watery and mild across the board. I've tried it a few times since and seems to be the new reality. I wouldn't recommend if you like a full coffee flavor.

Sadly, these were the blandest, most tasteless lattes we have ever had! We purchased two 16 oz lattes, a mocha and a flavored latte from the specials board. They were so unsatisfying that we had to make our own lattes after we got home, which is what we should have done in the first place and saved our $11 ($5.50 each). The service is very slow, which explains why there is always a line. The workers are super nice and friendly, but when I buy coffee, I want good coffee.

The food/drinks and service are always amazing, my questions are always answered and I've been given the best recommendations. The ambiance is great, very relaxed with lots of families and dogs : )

For context happened today, Sunday 3/19 @ 2:48 pm (we arrived in line behind an existing customer). We took note of all the times because we knew they close @ 3pm. Barista had glasses and shirt with a rainbow design on it. A few mins later, say two to three, two other customers lined up behind us. Once the barista passed off the drinks it was 2:56 pm. She said hello. We replied with a hello and then a "how are you" question. Instead of letting us know how she was doing, replied, "Soooo, what are you thinking about ordering?" in a snarky tone. To then I replied "um, okay, why do you say it like that?" She said, "yeah, unless you want black coffee, we're closed." The whole interaction was just off putting...so surprising in a negative way. It's over a year post-pandemic and it's the service industry...not to mention we'd think the business of (4) patrons anytime would help support the local business. We get it, end of day, it's not your business, it's a Sunday...but it was the lack of positive, human customer service aka interaction to all of us in line. We'll be back for sure since one offs like this happen. But it's nice to have feedback - May it be regulars or first timers.

Very effusive service, but not so detail-oriented. Maybe after a couple weeks of daily patronage, they'd get my order right. Doubtful though.

Grindhouse Coffee is the perfect example of unassuming coffee stand that just surpasses expectations. Outdoor seating, friendly staff, delicious coffee, and breakfast sandwiches that are a must for mornings on the run. Come. Enjoy. Thank me later.

AMAZING BAGELS. I literally dream of these bagels. They are crisped to perfection with tons of cream cheese options. Wish I could eat everyday.

My Pumpkin Spiced Latte w/ coconut mylk was handsome... I mean Sexy!? My wife's Cinnamon Vanillatte, also delish. It's our fav coffee spot in Arbor Lodge. Easy access, pleasant staff. They stock Sparrow bakery treats. Cinnamon Knot is addicting! Cool window decor in the shed with seating. 5stars for the bakery treats and they have coconut mylk which is my favorite alt milk.

We ordered one regular and one decaf oat milk iced mocha and both were full-flavored and perfect for a hot day 5/5. We also got two bagels, one was a sesame bagel with egg and cheddar and the other was an everything bagel with pesto cream cheese. The bagels were extremely fresh and very very tasty 4.5/5 The set up outside is great being dog friendly and completely open. My only critique is that they accidentally mixed up the bagels, which isn't a big deal. We would come here regularly if we lived here. They have great coffee, drinks, and service. I would recommend this place for sure.

This place is the best! Great coffee, perfect taste not burnt and great flavor. Also love that it doesn't break the bank, only around $5 for a coffee which is decent for Portland. The staff is always friendly and timely. Love this place and here almost everyday!

GrindHouse makes the best iced oat milk latte in Portland. Their Owner watches every detail to make sure your experience is perfect.

This was a great coffee shop within walking distance of my Airbnb. We came here twice, and one time I saw them make a drink for someone in a glass they brought. They were sanitary about it too and didn't even touch the glass, just pouring in the drink. I thought it was a great option if you want to bring a glass/cup from home instead of wasting paper cups. I tried a vanilla lavender latte and vanilla cardamom. Both were well made and I guzzled them quickly. There are pastries too, which looked tasty. Overall a solid option for coffee in the area.

The Chai latte was absolutely delicious, however service was very slow. It is not a place to go if you need a grab and go drink. It is a little loud since it is right next to a road, and parking is limited.

My favorite My absolute favorite place in portland. The space the people the atmosphere and yes!! The sexy coffee!! The have a big selection on there menu Of course I have my go to's But sometimes the new items get my attention and they never seem to disappoint. The food is excellent as well! The freshest bagels in town. Do yourself a service an get yourself a sexy coffee or Two. They use and sell Extracto beans that's what sweeddedee served as well. See told you the best.

Can't say enough about this place. Every one that Amanda hires is awesomely friendly. The coffee is great but the pastries are even better. This is a great on the go or lazy walk kind of place. The fresh cup has saved me many a morning as well as the fruit empanadas.

I identify as a female Pit/Rhodesian Ridgeback, and I am here to "shed" light on what's "dog friendly" and what isn't. 10/10 (very very rare)dog friendly spot! At GrindHouse I am always greeted by name and with treats waiting at the order window. There are tables in the sun so I can catch my rays during Oregon's summer months, and a covered patio -with a heater for my cold girl bones-during the rainy months. My humans love their stud muffin bagel sandwiches made with local bagels, as well as what my mom human says is the BEST chai, and most innovative drinks- her favorite being the cayenne cardamom latte. They also have many alternative milks like oat and hemp, not just almond and coconut. The owner, Amanda is my favorite because Amanda never forgets to give me attention. We live in SE now so our visits are less frequent- unless you count all the times my mom human complains about needing a better latte.

Probably my favorite coffee shop in Portland. GrindHouse is a neighborhood treasure. Staff is wonderful and the coffee and espresso drinks are so good. Their COVID procedures are top notch and customers are contentious about safety. I wish I made it there more often.

Having driven by this place so many times, I thought we would stop by to grab a cup of Joe before our hike in Forest Park. I'm gonna admit, I'm not a local, I'm not a frequent flyer, but please offer me service when I am standing there on a Sunday Morning just waiting to start my day with a wonderful cup of coffee. Don't get me wrong, the coffee was delicious. It just took forever for me to get my order in while the locals (2) stood there and basically gossiped about the doings of other clients who failed to tip. As the line started to form behind me, it didn't change the enthusiasm to serve... but I guess it is kind of nice to not have to be in that hustle and bustle mind set that I am so used to in Los Angeles. I was tempted to leave and go just down the street... as you know the coffee business is booming in Portland. Want coffee? Just drive or walk a little further, and you can get your fix. I felt determined to wait to be addressed, get my drip coffee, and head out for the day. Low and behold, when it was finally my turn to order, the barista was friendly, efficient, and courteous. I know the dirt on a few towns people, but in all honesty, I just want my damn cup of coffee. And yes, I did tip.

I came here recently (so you know, COVID times) and I was very impressed with the process! I was able to order via my phone so there was no contact, and the person behind the counter was wearing a mask and was able to get me my coffee very quickly even though there was a line of people. And it was DELICIOUS! This is a great walk up spot and I will definitely be back!

This is the best coffee in Portland. Hands down. Every drink is well crafted and the service is always good. They have a small number of pastries that are always tasty, and I can't seem to get a coffee without also buying a Studmuffin breakfast sandwich. It is always EXCELLENT. I would say the only drawback is maybe that you often have to wait, and it can be cold outside, but they have a little heater and their deck is always a good place to meet with strangers and chat.

Delicious bagel and a nice cup of coffee! We ordered The Works on a plain bagel, and a sesame seed bagel with cream cheese and tomato, they were both really good. Customer service was good too, the owner seemed to have a good relationship with regulars and had a sweet smile when greeting us. Again THANK YOU!

My wife and I are In town for a month visiting family in the area, and this has become a post-morning run staple for us. Super friendly staff, willing to make adjustments to their delicious breakfast sandwiches. Great coffee, and cute sitting area outside. Highly recommend this neighborhood joint!

A roadside coffee joint that oozes Portland ambiance, with great vegetarian food offerings but inconsistent coffee. Granted, we were passing through, so it was a one-time experience. We both had variations on the Stud Muffin, mine was on an above average bagel with great vegetarian sausage and finely melted cheese, she praised the vegetables on hers. She had a Vanilla Lavender Latte, which she was extremely pleased, speaking as a veteran of many lavender flavored drinks. I had a daily special, the name escapes me, but a variant of the classic mocha, and it was frankly extremely milky, to the point I was double checking we hadn't ordered two lattes. But the service was fast and pleasant.

My favorite place in Portland for iced espresso! Amanda and team are awesome. Somehow adding maple syrup and a little bit of half-and-half to a simple drink becomes amazing! Check them out!

Great service, great breakfast and great coffee. This place is fast and every staff I have ever met was so friendly I love it here! I got the cold brew with almond milk. I also got a breakfast sandwhich and I am pleased they had veggie sausage available. Love this "sexy coffee"!

This place is super! Have driven by so many times but found myself in desperate need of coffee and sustenance after my dentist appointment the other day and stopped her on the way home. The coffee was just peachy and much to my surprise they have bagels from an entirely new source - I totally forget the name right now, but you know my search for a bagel in town has taken me all over and I thought I'd heard of most of them... It may start with an M... Friendly help, cute tables, delicious bagels & java. I will most certainly stop here again!

This afternoon I ordered a double espresso, hoping for a wake up and I received so much more. The gentleman working took more time than most for two shots, but what I didn't know at the time was that he was taking the proper measures to pull the two most perfect shots of espresso I have ever tasted. Thank you GrindHouse for not sacrificing the necessary components for the perfect cup of coffee.

Stopped by after seeing the sign for Sexy Coffee. Extracto Beans for the drinks and nice friendly vibe. If this place had a view and indoor seating option (it's a little chilly this morning) it would have a solid 5 stars. I'll be back the next time I am in the neighborhood!

I love sexy coffee! The stud muffins are great! The coffee is great too! I usually get drip coffee, but it's great! Everything is great, including the everything croissant! The everything croissant was EVERYTHING! It's great, They're great.

I love this little hole in the wall. There is something special about the connection between a man and his barista. I feel the barista is somewhat taking over the role of the barman in being a sounding board for customers of the day. Besides being great people to talk to - they make great coffee!!!

Must have coffee. I love this place so much that I even went out of my way for it the other day. I may live in Washington but I'm willing to go the distance for a good latte and maybe even a good cranberry orange scone or sesame bagel! During July I was spoiled with GrindHouse. I was going so frequently that Amanda remembered what I ordered. Nothing like being asked "The usual?" as soon as you round the corner. I was even going so often that I started noticing other regulars! Looks like others know where to find a good cup of coffee too! The menu is great. I am always tempted to try more than just the scone or bagel but I cant tear myself away from those choices. There are scrambles, cinnamon rolls, and muffins for food plus other coffees and teas. If only I could get a latte from here everyday...

I absolutely love this coffee shop! Amanda, the owner, and all the people she hires are always so pleasant and friendly. Every single time I go there I get good vibes and consistent quality with my lattes and breakfast sandwiches. The shop itself is a cart with a covered seating area in front as well as a beautiful wall of stained glass windows on one side. Two sides are open. There's covered seating and a heater during the colder months. I love that people walk up with their dogs any it feels equally like an easy place to stop through or to stop and stay a while. They have a good selection of both hot and cold drinks to choose from as well as pastries and breakfast sandwiches. My absolute favorite breakfast sammy anywhere in Portland is my own special order here; The Works, but on a bagel with cream cheese and pepperjack. It's got all that plus egg, tomato, onion and veggie sausage which is spiced so well! It rolls out stacked high and keeps me going for a long time. This place has it all, but the staff give it the extra something that puts it a cut above the rest.

Perfectly fine coffee, great service, and an adorable little walk up stand. Their bagel breakfast sandwiches are tasty and I hear they their pastries are delivered fresh daily! I just wish they had a greater selection of pastries, I'm starting to realize I might be too picky about my pastries, but I haven't been able to find something that suits my fancy here. That, and I know, I know, most of those legit, authentic, whatever coffee shops have pure and authentic coffee beverages, not all the sugary hyped crap. But I do like yummy flavored lattes, and they only have a few standard flavors. So for that reason I find myself traveling a little further down the block to order up a brown sugar, or banana foster, or whatever else kind of crazy drink I can think of. If you're not demanding like myself and prefer just a regular latte, mocha, coffee, etc. this place will probably be just right!

Seriously delicious coffee and wonderful customer service. Many coffee choices, sweets, and breakfast sandwiches. You would be silly not to try this place!
