Grindhouse is located on Lumpkin Street north of the intersection of Lumpkin and Millege.
This local chain has an inside counter service main floor, and a full service open air second floor with a bar. We went for lunch and chose the second floor, which turns out to be a little difficult on a windy day. You’ll need to hold onto your napkins. This was our first visit, so we asked what some of the favorites were, and landed on the Dixie and Yankee burgers. All the burgers were perfectly cooked, and both the regular fries and sweet potato fries were just the right amount of crispiness. I don’t think it was hunger talking when I say that all the food was delicious. There was only one server working and she didn’t seem too happy about it, so she didn’t make small talk or had time to be very attentive to us. Nevertheless, we were able to be seated serve served, eat, and pay within an hour. This will definitely be on my list of places to go in the future.
