"Gringo’s features around a dozen locations across the Houston area, but if you’re interested in seeing where it all began, head to the original in Pearland. Each outpost showcases Old West meets Mexican art and antiques while delivering Tex-Mex favorites like taquitos, grilled seafood, and some of the best fajitas and margaritas Houston has to offer. If you’re feeling festive, try the star-spangled banner, a combination of strawberry and lime margarita, swirled with blue curacao. End your visit with complimentary soft-serve ice cream." - Brittany Britto Garley

Always love the chips and salsa to start here. Followed by a giant bowl of queso. The beef fajitas are just as remembered, delicious. As someone who has grown up eating Gringo's Mexican Restaurant, you just can't go wrong.

I highly recommend the fajita club salad, it's delicious. The meat is seasoned and tender. Donovan is an excellent bartender and provides world class service. He was helpful and the various salad dressings and he even brought me another selection after I informed him that it was a little too spicy. This meal after tax was still less than $23. They provided a second helping of chips. If you are in Pearland, you won't be disappointed.

Celebrated a family’s birthday and it was the perfect place for 5 of us. The server was very nice. This location has been remodeled and it looks so nice. The only take away is that the wait might be so long at times, over an hour but overall food was good. Favorite plate is Plato marisco Michelada, so yummy! They also give you a big cup. Recommend coming here 😄

They have the BEST seafood enchiladas. 🙌🏻 Only got a picture of my leftovers and it was just as good next day. Service is pretty quick for how busy they stay! Never had a bad meal here.

Wednesday night and very busy, here with family from the area; their favorite Mex. Had tamales that were great, can't get them this good in central Illinois. Wife had the shrimp empanada appetizer & loved it. No margarita pitcher so Mex beer for me & Pineapple margarita for the wife.Service was what you would expect, price was reasonable.

This is the original but it's also our home base. I can't tell you how many times we've had so many great meals here. The quality of the food is great. Their Margaritas are a must. The queso is something you will crave with every meal. And don't forget to grab an ice cream on the way out or the kids will make you pay for it. Speaking of which, they have a kids menu that will meet everyone's needs, but trust the process that the kids will want to explore the chips and salsa at the table. You'll get the dining experience you're looking for every time. Guaranteed. Don't forget they also have takeout as an option. Join the rewards program and get some great freebies to eat and spend those rewards points on your meals. The only downside is parking because their parking lot sucks and it's always packed there because the food is so good. Literally don't go anywhere else. You'll try other places just to see how it compares and you'll still end up thinking to yourself I should have spent my precious time at Gringos.

How is it I’ve never reviewed Gringo’s!!! I’ve been coming here for years. Their food is in the TexMex hall-of-fame. Most of the locations will be packed all the time and this one is no exception so get here early or prepare to wait. Best enchiladas around and the salsas are lit! Definitely come by if you are near one.
