Great fresh cooked food. Love the fish tacos and cinnamon wedges and chocolate banana chimi. Update 6-4-25 . 6-10-25 the owner assured me it was a mistake on the order I was not satisfied with. Things happen but they replaced the order and all is Great again. So I am back to loving Gringo's again.

Bought shrimp tacos. Overall, they were very good but seemed a little cold for the wait for them to be cooked fresh. And one regular taco, sauce would have been great. Also seemed cold.

I almost want to gate keep how good this place is, because I think it’s a hidden secret that this gringoes is FAR better than any other location (aside from Joplin) and once you go here you’ll drive out of your way to get it again. We come here everytime we’re in town and it never disappoints!

Fast food style Mexican! But doesn’t taste like fast food - it’s much better! Super quick service - incredible employees loved everything we tried! The cinnamon chips -I can’t remember the actual name of them - but they were incredible!

Twice now through the drive through. Ordering an enchilada With extra sauce plus an extra sauce. Twice now i've gotten no sauce. If this is the new way. I need to know so I can stop ordering. I'm not paying $21 for a tortia that's NOT even big enuff to make a burrito. . If I Wanted a plane soft taco. I would have ordered one!

First time I've come to gringos in probably 10 years I just ordered an enchilada and two of their crispy tacos and a medium Dr pepper they added a $1.50 for the dinner on the one enchilada all total it came to $17.61 so unless you really like this place I suggest you go somewhere else or go to a regular authentic Mexican restaurant where you can get two meals for the price of $17.61, price gouging at its best

It's an older locally owned fast food Mexican place. The taco I got was good, filling and around $5. Service was courteous and fast.

Haven't been here in 30 years. Still good food.

Not sure what Nacho G. Is talking about. You get the absolute best service in this fast food joint. The service here is better than any restaurant in town. No other fast food has an dining room attendant that offers to refill your drink, bring you extra napkins or sauce etc. And yes the do fix the food right in front of you but It is always very clean. Their menu options are outstanding and the food is exceptional for fast food. Portions are huge and even a simple taco is packed full of meat lettuce and overflows with cheese. They do offer daily specials and 1/2 price drinks in the morning til 10. My husband made fun of me for always making a trip to Gringos anytime I was close to Webb City until I made him try it. Now he just as big a fan. My son got my mother-in-law hooked. My mom has to take my brother a treat from Gringos every time she travels to Houston to visit him. It's a hometown favorite for my family and many others and there is a reason why this location has outlasted the others. WC Gringos ROCKS!

Manager in training was great . Food was hot and made right. They even asked if we wanted dessert.

Food is good but every time I go they mess up my order. I asked for onion did not get it. I always ask for extra hot sauce, they say okay, never get it. They charge extra for using a card but will not accept large bills. For a fast food restaurant it is expensive. I don't mind paying extra because it is good quality food. They really need to work on the customer service part.

Stopped at Gringos on Joplin Missouri to get lunch while on vacation. The food was delicious!! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because of the price. It's a little pricey for a fast food joint. It was $41 for lunch for my wife and I. The other couple in my group was over $50.

This is a great fast food Mexican place. Much better than the other staples. I drove from Springfield to once again have their food...yeah...it was a joy ride. The customer service was great and the food was amazing. I had just three simple crunchy tacos. But they were above standard compared to other fast food.

The food here is pretty decent. The nachos sauce is great. It's pretty infuriating though. This is the 2nd place I've gone to and ordered CHEESE enchiladas and been given BEEF enchiladas. I don't eat meat. So this is a waste of Food. I went through the drive through and didn't notice until I got home. So gross.

This place was Horrible! We ordered 2 chicken enchilada Supremes total was $16 and we got two very small enchiladas and that is it. That the employee on the phone told me they microwaved for 30 seconds. Talked to the manager and was told I had to order the dinner plate for sides... I just spent $16 at your business and got crap.... Horrible horrible horrible!!! Never go here!!!!

The food was lukewarm, the veggies weren't fresh and were mushy. It's over priced for the quality of the food. The only thing that made it alright was the service the server was so nice.

Ordered takeout- enchiladas. Got burritos instead. Soft tortillas filled with beans and meat, covered with so much cheddar cheese we couldn't even see the main course. That's NOT enchiladas !! Ate about a third of the burrito and the taste was horrible. An hour later spent 10 minutes in the bathroom vomiting... won't go back ever. This was the new Joplin location.

By far the best taco salad for the price! They are very generous with the taco fillings. The staff is friendly and service is prompt. There is a Taco Bell down the street, but I choose to go here instead.

Way overrated. This is a glorified Taco Bell. Half the food taste like it's from Walmart and not made fresh. It's way overpriced as well. I paid $12 for 1 enchilada and beans with a small order of chips and salsa, luckily I got a water to save more money. Staff was friendly and place was fairly clean, the review reflects the quality of food and price.

Gringos will always be my fav place to get a taco. They have good salsa and cheese dip. They put a lot of yummy cheese on the tacos. The bean burritos are pretty good too. Also, they have good specials and deals. One downside is that they can be greasy, but what Mexican fast food restaurant isn't greasy?

I grew up eating Gringos and not Taco Bell. Even now, when I have Taco Bell - I am sad it isnt Gringos. The cheese burritos make it worth driving from Joplin to Webb City any time we are in town.

Consistently great service & huge portions for the money. Only reason I ever eat Taco Bell is if I'm in a town & that's the only choice & it just makes me appreciate Taco Gringo even more! Servers come around to check if you need refills or anything else & that's def not the norm for a fast food place. Keep up the great work, you have my support!

I have had the chance to eat here more, and I have an updated review. I give it 5 stars as there are many items on the menu that are good. Additionally the food doesn't taste like a copy of anything else from other restaurant locations. Be ready to wait in the drive thru as they are often busy most of the day. Their soft tacos are good. They put a lot of meat and cheese on them, like many other items. Their portions are good! Fish taco is good, but you will have to wait a minute at end of drive thru as it takes longer to cook this items. Cheese nachos are just chips and some cheese in side container, and that may not be what you expect. They have other nachos with chips and toppings on the chips as well. Chicken quesadilla is very good. They have a lot of options for drinks. For fast food this really is good stuff.

amazing for fast food, I've been going here since I took my first step, best bean burritos in town, great portions, price is a little high but its worth it. HAVE A TACO GRINGO

Absolutely the best Mexican place in the area... Great service, amazing food and clean.. Highly recommend this to anyone and everyone.. If you haven't tried it then you haven't lived... I give this place 20 stars! ********************

I thought I'd give it a try because the reviews made it sound great. I ordered 2 chicken quesadillas & 2 rice. The total was $19.98. The quesadillas weren't cut & made it hard & messy to eat. I didn't eat spices except salt. It was bland & fell apart. The rice was extremely salty and tasted like it was a beans & rice instead of just rice. I think this is what is called, "Tex-Mex" but I could be wrong. I'm aware I'm in the minority but unfortunately I will not be coming back

Went and had lunch there today had four tacos and a lemonade and it was great. Service was great and the food was great.

To start off, Gringos used to be amazing. Back in the day they had multiple locations, friendly staff, and great prices. Now, since they have trimmed it down to the one store and the new owners (if they can be called that since they never respond to customer complaints) have run it's quality into the ground. the manager Tyler is a complete tool and he is very mouthy with the customers and glares at former employees and talks about them when he thinks they aren't looking. The food is not what it used to be but it is still passable but after my last couple of experiences, specifically with Tyler, I will not be back and I will not recommend. My last encounter with Tyler, I had to leave my vehicle on a drive thru order to show him how to run a credit card. He was bending it so it wouldn't read. Then, he threatened to call the police if my son didn't pull forward (we had not received our food yet because he couldn't figure out how a credit card machine works). When I called him out on his bad behavior he had the audacity to tell me "Well maybe you should just not come to Gringos then." He said that to a paying customer in front of multiple other paying customers. Absolutely ridiculous! I had messaged the owners last time I had a problem with him and asked that they contact me back. They never did so a review on Yelp! it is!

Understand this is a fast food joint, far from authentic Mexican food. And my rating is based on the fast food realm. That said, it's one of the best fast food joints in the area. Not like Taco Bell. The prices are a little steep but you get your $ worth. Especially at this location, everything is totally stacked full of fresh ingredients. I can put away some food, but sometimes just 2 chicken soft tacos is enough here. It"s the only taco place that has ever put too much cheese on my tacos! Beef is cooked fresh, beans are cooked fresh from dry pintos, cheese is fresh grated, tomatoes chopped in store, etc. Good stuff.

I like it for the most part. Good service, to sum it up, it's great. But, the only problem is the amount of Cheese. When I got my burrito, it was 90% cheese. But, other than that, great.

I prefer this place over Taco Bell. Their prices are competitive and have good food. Not authentic Mexican, but will satisfy your craving.

I love Gringos! This restaurant is my favorite restaurant of all time. I live in Arkansas and drive to Webb City as often as possible just to eat the delicious bean burritos and tacos. The jalapeno hot sauce is the best hot sauce you can find anywhere. I have a dream that they will some day open a restaurant in Fayetteville, AR! Long live Gringos!

Good quality fast food Mexican. Drive thru line is quick, employees are always friendly. I feel like they are never understaffed and always efficient! Top Mexican fast food in the 4 state region. Cheese burritos can't be beat!

THE BEST fast food Mexican in the four state area, great service and they will make it anyway you ask, PS this doesn't include the other gringos stores there owned buy different people not near as good. this is just for the webb city store

Prices doubled as they are the last gringos location. Don't go inside and watch them actually make your food. It's disgusting to watch. The food is made so quickly its like they are just throwing ingredients up in the air and watching it fall into place. The high school dropout service is anything but nice. And when you order an $9 enchilada combo meal to go you get no fork , sauce, or napkins. You really should just go to an authentic Mexican restaurant, ( right down the street) sit down, get a waiter, good service, and you would still have money for a tip.

Best gringos in the area. So much cheese. You will be in cheese heaven. More cheese. Cheese. Cheese please. Cheese? Oh thank you for the cheese.

The food here is ten times better than the original Gringos that was on 7th in Joplin. I could not believe it was fast food! Service is great too! They bring the food out to you.

I absolutely love this place. The food is so good. If you are in the mood for fast Mexican food this should be your stop can get kinda expensive but it is worth it. Just a little tidbit but this location is owned by a different person then the other locations. They don't skip on putting ingredients on whatever you get.

The original and the best! Food is great, customer service is great. I highly recommend the red cheese and chips, or the taco salad.

Too much cross contamination going on! Me and My husband came in for lunch 3-24-11, and one of the employees were cleaning and scrubbing the floors with chemicals. After we sat down and waited for our food to be brought to us, we seen the employee that was cleaning had been called over to take food to a table, she did NOT was her hands before taking the food out. She went straight from cleaning the floors to handling food. We were very discussed and hoped she would not be the girl to bring us our food. Sadly, she did. I tried not to be too bothered by it but then we seen her back to cleaning, then refill the 20oz soda machine, take back dirty trays, take more food out to customers, contaminate all the sauce packets, take the TRASH out, and NOT "ONCE" DID SHE WASH HER HANDS! After we seen the employee take the trash out, she immediately began to refill the forks...with her bare hands...and again, no hands washed or sanitized! She never wore gloves either. I was 100% discussed and angry at this point! We couldn't finish eating and we left. Almost everything in the store had been contaminated by her, and you might as well had been touching everything off the floor! I called later to speak with a manager, and she told me she would relay the message to her Store manager and she was sorry, but not that she would make sure employees washed their hands..which is all that really needed to be said. The only reason I even gave 1 star, was because besides the uncleanliness, the service was good, and the food was as well. but I would have to say we will never eat at that restaurant again!
