I ordered uber eats. The food was pretty tasty especially the strawberry shortcake French toast. I only had a problem with the lemon pepper chicken biscuit it was not worth the 8 dollars that was charged and it definitely didn't look like the picture listed online. Other than that I will be ordering from them again can't wait to try other items on the menu.

Good Lawd the shrimp and grits with cheese on top is 🔥. I was warned that I would have the"itis" afterwards, and Im sitting here in my car half sleep lol. The staff is super friendly too!

This is the type of place you aggressively gatekeep. Not super impressed with food I order too often but I had to leave a review immediately. The catfish might be the best in Atlanta and could be its own entree. The strawberry french toast is immaculate. If they add mac and cheese to the menu I’d be here weekly. Please give the chef their flowers.

Google
I had the shrimp and grits and it was absolutely divine. Some of the best grits I ever had! I got it on Uber Eats and it came quick but was still hot and they give you a good amount! I wish I had a bit more shrimp though because it was so good lol I will try the salmon and grits next time! It will give you the itis too, I was on break at work and I just wanted to crawl in the bed and sleep after I ate it haha! Definitely recommend if you need a good breakfast/brunch

Ordered on a Sunday morning about 10:30 to pick up at Oak Street. Food was delayed over an hour. Zero communication, order just kept showing delayed. Phone number listed inside of Oak Street for this business just rang busy. I waited an hour and half for the food to come out luke warm and to look like it had been sitting under a warmer for two days. For the price I paid the food was definitely not worth it. Busy or not on a Sunday morning you don’t deliver food over an hour late and not fresh. I wouldn’t recommend nor return.

Google
I could write a whole book about how much I enjoyed Grits and Things, but I'll just hit the high points! The grits with Cajun sauce were absolutely amazing. I've honestly never had any made like that before. We had brunch catered for a family gathering and they went above and beyond our expectations. We had grits, salmon, turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, and French toast. Everything was fresh and taste absolutely amazing. I'll definitely be on the look out for one of her popup spots and try nore.

Yelp
The salmon, shrimp and grits with Cajun sauce at Grits and Things are soooo good. I've never had shrimp and grits made like this before. Their food is reasonably priced and you get a lot. I could have easily shared my food but I ate it up because it was so good. I love a good sauce on my food. When we pulled up we were expecting a food truck but they are actually in a ghost kitchen. This place is pretty popular, there were a lot of people coming in to pick up orders. I am definitely going back when I visit Atlanta again.

Yelp
If you're looking for a good (not even great) chicken biscuit, this is not it. Can't even call it good. They took a frozen fried chicken breast, half way dipped it into some of that Franks Buffalo Sauce, sprinkled some lemon pepper on top, then slapped it in between a microwaved frozen colorless/soulless/butterless/flavorless biscuit. It was a salty buffalo mess. My coworkers were also underwhelmed with their meals. Said the salmon cakes were dry and the Cajun sauce was not good. We got it delivered so I'm not sure it the food quality is different when dining in or if the service/ambiance would make up for the nasty food but I will not be going to find out for myself.

Yelp
4 out of 5 stars because one dish was fair. I ordered: Fried Salmon with Shrimp and Grits Strawberry Crunch French Toast and Oxtails with Grits The Fried Salmon with Shrimp and Grits was delicious. The Salmon was fried perfectly and everything had great flavor. The Strawberry French Toast was surprisingly tasty. I thought there was chance that it would be too sweet and soggy, but the toast was neither. My only critique is that there is no need for the syrup on the side. Now for the Oxtails and Grits... While the Oxtails were tender, they lack any real flavor or spice. Paired with plain grits,it all just falls flat. Will definitely order the Salmon and French Toast again, but the Oxtails were a one and done situation.

Yelp
Listen. I wrote this review bc they didn't have that many and I was skeptical. Can I tell you best Saturday self care morning decision! I got the fried salmon with shrimp and grits. So goooood. It's perfect sauce. Like mmm not to salty just enough flavor bouncing around in my mouth. Loved it. Try them out

Yelp
How can grits taste this good. I'm from up North so grits weren't something I ate regularly. The shrimp and grits were so creamy and the flavor AMAZING. I can honestly say the best shrimp and grits I've ever had. The peach cobbler grits tasted EXACTLY like peach cobbler. Insane. The strawberry crunch French toast was perfect amount of sweetness I will DEFINITELY eat here again. Highly recommend!!!!

Yelp
Couldn't find it, went the address listed, nothing was there. Was looking forward to trying this restaurant while I was in ATL. Is this a sit down restaurant? I will never know.

Yelp
The Cajun Grits w/ Salmon and Oxtail Grits are my favorite and I did not grow up on grits! Service is friendly and I appreciate that these days! Can't wait to go back and try other items on the menu! I had their in-house punch as well, I forget the name, but that was refreshing!

Yelp
Listen......I have NEVER considered pairing peach cobbler with grits, but dagnabbit it was good. I've been following Grits and Things on Instagram for a whole now and finally had a chance to check them out. They were at Debo's Food Truck Park in Decatur (another great spot, but we'll talk about that later) and I was not disappointed. I got the shrimp and grits, hot lemon pepper chicken sandwich, peach cobbler grits, and my son had the chicken and waffles. I was so stuffed and s had food left over. It was so filling. The food was perfectly seasoned. The grits were just the right amount of creaminess and the shrimp and sauce were divine. The sausage and peppers in the dish were amazing too. I can't say enough about this food. The sandwich didn't last long at the table. It was supposed to be for me, but my son ate it. I expected it to be really spicy, but it wasn't too spicy. The chicken was cooked to perfection too; not at all dry. I don't have pictures of the sandwich though; remember my son ate it. I got one bite of it. Now on to this cobbler. If you haven't tried this peach cobbler grits, you are missing out. I'm so happy I have some left over to take to work and torment my co-workers.

Yelp
The food was amazing and easy to order online, the only problem is the service. It took us over 20 minutes to get our food when we saw It sitting in a heater in front of us but no one came to the front to give It out once we arrived. Another person in line said this is a recurring thing. It may be understandable if they are short staffed. The food was so good It was okay but I would give more stars if the service was swifter.
