Grizzeldas has a really nice atmosphere. The place is really nice to look at! The food was pretty good! Their green salsa that comes with the chips is really good! It's not super spicy but spicy enough that you don't want to stop eating it. Our server was nice and friendly, the music was a little loud that it was a bit hard to hear, but other than that, it was a great experience!

We came in for a Sunday morning brunch and were very pleasantly surprised. The food was really great and the service was equally as good. We had the queso Blanco as an appetizer and it was delicious. Great queso. The chips were nice and thick and homemade not like the thin Mexican restaurant tortilla chips. We then had the steak scramble and chilaquiles which were both equally wonderful. Flavors were delicious cooked to perfection. We will come back and try them for dinner in the future.

The friendly staff and awesome decor and vibe were just the cherry on top for the incredible food they put out. A perfect brunch spot with a lot of variety and slammin brunch cocktails. If you are a bachelorette party this SHOULD be your Sunday brunch, without question. I asked for hotter salsa, they delivered and even gave recommendations on sharing plates to get the best experience. 100/10. To enhance your experience, take a scooter ride to and from and just feel the breeze in your hair after a delicious meal!

Awesome brunch spot with great Mexican food. Their green salsa you get with Chips is amazing. I ordered the Migas and was not disappointed, the drinks were flowing, and flowing out of some others. Absolutely great time and I’ll be sure to be back. Plus they have a cool story!

Consistently good food and drinks with a casual, comfortable, fun vibe. While the food isn’t Michelin star good it’s definitely on par with the general Tex-mex Austin scene. Some of the best guacamole I’ve had and their tortillas are some of the best, definitely freshly made. My go to is either the Barbacoa or Carnitas, but everything on the menu is good. For drinks the Mexican margarita is one of the best I’ve had but the Grizz mizz is a vibrant pink and tasty as well.

This is one of my favorite restaurants.. I order the skirt steak fajitas every time and they are SOO GOOD.. like SOOOOO GOOD! I have tried a couple drinks but I think the frozen Margarita (with tajin on the rim) is my fave! I wish I had a photo of the food but I get tunnel vision as soon as it arrives to the table 😂

I finally tried Grizzeldas and it was so good! Reservations would be best if you have a larger party or want to sit inside. It seemed outdoor seating is always open first come first serve. Okay the food was delicious! We started with salsa and the ceviche (called something else on the menu). The ceviche was very refreshing and big chunks of fish. We did a chicken fajita platter and add steak and it was so much food we had lots of leftovers. The chicken and steak were great and the melted cheese on the skillet was a great touch! The drinks were delicious. I would highly recommend this place for dinner or casual outdoor weekend lunch (:

Started with the chips and salsa, and queso. They were good, the darker salsa was my better in my opinion, the lighter one had a little spice but not much flavor. The queso was really good though. I ordered the enchiladas de pollo verde, they were good just kind of a small portion for the price ($24). The rice and beans were what you’d expect as well. The weird thing about those though- myself and my gf each ordered entrees that came with rice and beans. They only brought us one bowl of rice and one of beans, I’m not sure if it were meant for us to share or they forgot the other two bowls. Either way a little weird to me. Our service was great though. And dog friendly Also their was a happy hour on 25% off apps, I believe all day Wednesday and then Thursday 6-7

I went here for my birthday with friends, and I had the best experience. I cannot wait to go back, honestly. Food: The food was delicious! Depending on what you get, They bring you rice and beans as a shareable side between everybody. I did not mind family style. They gave me a complimentary churro with a candle for my birthday. This was a pleasant surprise as I didn't see they had dessert on the menu! Drinks were fun, all mostly tequila-based (some expensive to), but all dressed and extremely tasty. Service: I was a bit nervous because I saw some reviews about the service, but I honestly had a good experience. I loved that they took my order first; the server had such a positive attitude with all of my guests! He gave us a nice breakdown of the restaurant and how they were founded! They are a sister restaurant of Jacoby's. I hope to visit there someday. Ambiance: I loved the layout of this restaurant. We sat outside; the weather was perfect, but they had fans to help regulate everything. If it's nice weather, I recommend getting a seat outside. They have the perfect green leafy wall for group pictures afterward. 10/10 recommend.

For an early Mother's Day brunch, my sister and I treated our momma out! We were so excited to try this place out and the energy inside was fun & inviting. We ordered drinks & lots of appetizers. That was totally yummy. Paloma was on point. Food: very disappointed! My mom's order was brought out wrong & my sister's torta lacked flavor. My steak dish was okay, but nothing special. The churros and guac were the best. Queso was subpar. Service: it was sweet & attentive, but that was it. Won't be coming back. It was a "been there, done that" situation. It's also not cheap, Parking: no problem at all.

Dined at Grizzelda's for happy hour recently! Food was great. We ordered queso, guacamole, chips and salsa, Brussels sprouts, fajitas, and churros. EVERYTHING was excellent. Drinks were great too. Service was top notch. Our server was super friendly and gave excellent recommendations! A smaller restaurant with a small parking lot; def carpool and make a reservation!

Fun place to meet friends for drinks and food to be able to get insta shots, but overall underwhelming in flavor. The prices are pretty high for average Mexican food, even the chips and guacamole were pricier than most other Austin options. Everything looked beautiful and was plated gorgeously, but the taste was bland. The cocktails however were very good. We sat outside in the tent, with heaters and the pink picnic tables. It was a very comfortable temperature, but the service was definitely slower out there but still caring. Parking anywhere in this area is difficult, but they do have a small parking lot. Definitely a decent stop for the many bachelorette parties plaguing the city.

Grizzelda's is always a treat, especially with their Wednesday all-night happy hour! You can't beat discounted Grizz Mizz and Fromo--it's a steal! And guess what? They now have queso blanco in addition to their delicious queso fundido. One of the best parts? Their super dog-friendly outdoor patio. It's become a favorite spot for us and our furry friends. Plus, the staff are always so friendly and personable. If you haven't experienced their all-night happy hour yet, you're missing out--swing by and treat yourself!

Went here for brunch with a big group for my bachelorette party and would highly recommend! They were super accommodating for a group our size (13) and very attentive! All of the food was absolutely delicious and we all left super full and happy. Fan favorites were the Queso and fried chicken and waffles! Would absolutely return!

First time visiting Grizzeldas and must I say it was a good experience. From the staff to the ambiance and food, I recommend coming here whether it is for brunch or dinner. Samantha was really nice and recommended some great food options. I got the enchiladas verdes which were good but I would say the chicken was a little over cooked. The French toast was a good safe option and the chicken and waffles were okay. Nothing to die for, the drinks were really good and I go the Cardi B marg. I would definitely eat there again but maybe go for dinner to get a different dining experience!

I was so underwhelmed by this place. The chips were incredibly oversalted, the queso came out lukewarm and it hardened within minutes, and my chicken torta was very bland. If I had to choose one good thing about this place, it would be the friendly customer service. Not going back, but at least I marked this place off my list of restaurants to visit in ATX.

Grizzelda's on the Eastside is one of our to go spots to enjoy some great quality drinks and food, it never disappoints. Being from Austin we've driven by it so many times and decided to finally try it out now we're hooked! The parking lot is always full and they have such large crowds but we always get a seat at the bar and are always treated well with great hospitality by all the bartenders no matter how overwhelmed they are . Now we make reservations every now and then just to be on the safe side! There is plenty of street parking. My favorite drinks are the Brunch Bottomless Mimosas & the Fro Mo with Tajin on the Rim! I love the chicken and waffles also. The food never disappoints and always hits the spot. Fresh & flavorful. I love the vibes in Grizzeldas, perfect for date night, bachelorette parties or just a girls date. It's a must try if you're in the area.

Stopped in for a margarita last night . The frozen house margarita ( fro-mo) was perfect for a summer evening. The bartenders, Josh and Kyle were fabulous! (Great service and great drinks!) We will be back for the Wednesday Happy Hour

A wonderful large dinner place - we were 10 at a round table which is honestly the best. The queso was fabulous, great carne asado tacos, guac, you name it. We tried plenty on the menu and were so happy with our experience. Would recommend!

Get the Brussels- not photographed. Parking is not an issue during the evening on weekdays but most definitely difficult to get on a weekend- keep that in mind. Also, if you make reservations and your party doesn't show, Grizzeldas is NOT lenient and will charge you for a missing person. Grizzeldas is definitely cute for an Instagram experience. Food is good but not life changing. Our server Samantha was on deserves a whole 5/5 stars on her own. Really I wanna give this restaurant a 3 but a high 3 so I went with a 4/5 stars. Mostly because the shareable plates were the highlight of my meal.

This was literally the only bottomless brunch place I could find in Austin. Coming from LA where almost everywhere does bottomless brunch, this came as a shock to me that it doesn't seem to be a thing in Austin. As a result, it was no surprise that this place was packed. So definitely make a reservation. The place was super cute inside with a neon Palm Springs vibe. Clearly it's a popular spot for birthdays and bachelorettes, as we saw a ton while we were here. We got the queso and some chips and salsa to start. The queso was really good and I enjoyed the chips which seemed to be homemade. The salsa verde was also good and packed a punch. I got the churro chicken and waffles for my meal. It was decent but nothing spectacular. The waffle was a bit soggy which was disappointing. Service was great and we rarely had an empty glass. Our waiter was friendly and made it a fun time.

Went after work to get a few drinks and we received fast service. The drinks were really good...I consider good where you can actually taste the alcohol. The vibe was nice, low lights and the low buzz of people talking. It's chill and laid back and would recommend this place for anyone looking for a place with good drinks and yummy appetizers and is laid back where you can sit back and have a good conversation with friends!

The Spicy Marg is great! However, their prices are too high! They even charge you $1 each for extra tortillas. The quesadilla there is $24! We got two appetizers and one margarita for me, which was $60. Service was good. Atmosphere is good. The patio is very nice.

We visited Grizzelda's for dinner on the last night of our bachelorette party weekend. The place was hopping, so I would highly recommend making a red if you want to check it out... I feel like this place is on the 'must do' list when in Austin for a bachelorette party! The servers are not bad to look at and they wear aprons like a speakeasy bartender. The drinks are creative and the food is pretty dang good. I would definitely come back to Grizzeldas again, next time I'm in Austin!

Great find for Sunday brunch, especially if you have a flight to catch! Close to the airport. Food was fantastic! We tried the fresh guacamole and salsa with chips to start with. Then shared the waffles and chicken, fajitas scramble and barbacoa tacos. The icing on the cake were the unlimited mimosas! Service was attentive. Only drawback was parking, very little so you may have to walk a bit.

I came here for a bachelorette. I had to make two separate reservations for parties of six. In the comments I asked to be put next to each other, and they did. They put us outside in a patio with water fans. The food was by far my favorite stop on a bachelorette trip. The S&M margarita is exactly how I like my spicy margaritas. The Carnitas were full of flavor, with homemade rice, beans, and tortillas. It is a little pricey, even with splitting a meal, I spent around $32 before tip. I will definitely would go back though. Our server was awesome, the place itself was aesthetically pleasing, and the food was great.

I have mixed reviews on Grizzelda's that I'm not sure where to start. The food was decent and the cocktails were yummy but I felt like it was a bit overpriced. The guacamole and fajitas were good. I would have been fine just eating the guacamole all night. Bad Girl RiRi was good if you like the smokiness of Mezcal. Parking lot sucks and the bathroom situation is terrible. I was there on a weekend there was always a line (one in one out) and it wasn't very clean. Seems like a popular place for bachelorette parties? We saw party bus/vans coming and going from there with people dressed in ridiculous attire. lol The restaurant as a whole is cute and the service was excellent, especially since we were a party of about 14 for a birthday gathering.

Had a long layover in Austin and my dear friend's daughter and her husband picked me up at the airport to get a quick bite to eat. We actually tried another place but decided against it. I'm glad we did that since I would not have otherwise tried Grizzelda's. It was absolutely FABULOUS!!! We sat at the bar and the two bartenders were wonderful. They were excited to explain their approx 14 ingredient Michelada to me. I must admit it was one of the most gorgeous (see pic) and delicious I've ever had! They also were great about pointing me to the most viable/delicious meal option. All in all, this was a fantastic dining experience. If I'm ever in the Austin area again, I hope to come back and have another one (or two) of their amazing micheladas!

Came for bottomless mimosas. The food had large portions and was cooked well, but was nothing special. Do not know if I would return. Also was crazy the guac and chips were $15.00.

If you plan on going for the bottomless brunch DO NOT DRIVE yourself here. Well worth the $20 if you're looking to get tastefully trashed. The food is good but not exceptional. I had green chicken enchiladas, that were actually very good but the portion was tiny, but to be honest after the 3rd mimosa i was not concerned about being too full. The vibe is also very cute and girly, perfect for any kind of fabulous celebration.

Misleading Bottomless Mimosas Disappointed with the so-called 'bottomless' mimosas. The endless refills promised turned out to be more like a bottomless pit in my wallet. False advertising and a letdown for brunch enthusiasts. Our server, Harrison, wouldn't refill after 4 glasses. Won't be returning.

Easily sat a group of 10 with outdoor seating & the service was incredible! Those in our group that purchased the bottomless mimosas for Sunday brunch did not ever see the bottom of their glasses. The food was awesome. The chips and salsa are fantastic alongside the guac (not a huge fan of their queso) and the torta was a bit dry, but the CHICKEN AND WAFFLES IS DELICIOUS!! You should also try the churros. Overall great experience and will be returning!

The service is amazing the water goes over and beyond. The food selection is not that great to choose from. The ambiance setting is great nice and well lit. I would not suggest a large party it's very small and crowded inside

Not a great experience and that's hard to believe in Austin since this city has so many amazing options, they need to keep up. The coffee machine was broken that morning, which I understand can happen, but then we asked for tea and they didn't have tea. So no substitutes. I would expect at that point maybe a discount or something on the house to say I'm sorry. So had to leave to grab coffee. On top of that they were strict that after 2 hours you have to leave. So service was not good. The food was good but if you ask for any changes they either don't allow it or miss it. I ordered the steak fajita scrambled with the pickled jalapeños on the side, and they forgot to bring it. The place looks good and they have an outdoor area. So they had that going on.

Mayla was a phenomenal server!!! She has great customer service. It was my first here and the food was amazing! Perfect place for bottomless mimosas! Thank you Mayla for kicking off my birthday to a great start! Definitely will come back because of her!

First time visit with friends and this place did not disappoint. We were promptly greeted and escorted to our table. Our server, Marc, was super pleasant and helpful with menu recommendations. I opted for the steak fajita scramble and we all enjoyed bottomless mimosa. My food was delicious - no complaints here. This place is worth the visit - I do recommend!

Charlie was exceptional! I highly recommend coming here and asking to be seated with Charlie, you won't be disappointed. His attentiveness and keen awareness was outstanding. He made my wife's birthday something special and made it such a memorable birthday!

Awesome environment and cool outside seating area with fans that have misters for hot days. We got the tostaditas that were chips, ground beef, Jalapeño retired beans and cheese. We rate them a 4/5. The watermelon sugar drink was a 10/10. Be sure you like mint if you get it because you can definitely taste it. Spicy marg was 5/5 and S&M was also a 5/5. We came for a Bachelorette party and they were very accommodating. The ladies loved all the drinks!!!

This a family owned restaurant is a true Austin gem. Parking can be a bit tricky since the lot isn't too big but it's absolutely worth parallel parking for their food. I had the enchiladas with a sunny side up egg and they reminded of the ones my mom would make growing up. Their horchata French toast appetizer is honestly really big so I'd recommend sharing it if you're having an entree. I loved the decor throughout the restaurant but I'd recommend sitting inside since there's no fans on the side patio and this weather makes everyone melt like popsicle. TLDR: cute spot for a girl's brunch!

This place is such a gem! The vibes are chill and trendy and the food was delish. We had a larger party for Friday dinner and made reservations 2 weeks in advance, I'm definitely glad we did because they were very busy. Parking was tight too so plan on street parking if small lot is full. My husband got the Chicken Enchiladas and I got the Tuna Tostadas, both dishes were flavorful and delicious as were the rice and beans, which are served family style. The drinks were terrific, too. Definitely recommend and will be back!

We did not have a good dining experience at this restaurant. When we finished our appetizers, the bus person took our appetizer plates and silverware but didn't replace the silverware, so when our entrees arrived we had no silverware. No one checked on us. Our waiter had disappeared. By the time we finally got silverware and could eat, the food was room temperature. And how was the food? Bland. A notch below Chuy's or Matt's El Rancho, both of which have more reasonable prices. Bottom line, there are much better dining experiences in Austin. Tip: Skip this place.

Food and drinks were great... seating and service no so much. Main points - don't go without a reservation - expect long service times in peak hours - food and drinks were good Seating Ok so the seating was our fault, we didn't make reservations and the only seating they had available was their front patio (tent with picnic chairs) it was 100 degrees and I was regretting sitting outside. They had one small working fan for the whole patio... it was rough! Service While we were being served it was great... but we seemed like an afterthought in the front patio and it took long for our food and drinks. Our second round of drinks were a little watered down Food and drinks All Cons aside, I'd go back again with a reservation because the food and drinks were terrific. The chips were bomb .. they get an A+. Better food than any Tex Mex brunch I've had in Austin.... (And I do make my own Mexican food at home)

The atmosphere inside Gizzelda's is super cute, fun, and bright. I came with my friend for Saturday brunch and had an amazing time. The food was great, I believe I got a chicken and waffles but it was a particular type of waffle. Regardless it was tasty. Staffing was a bit lacking, taking a while but nothing too crazy but I may blame brunch hour. Parking is a tad bit limited so brush up on your parallel parking skills for the streets.

Came here for a much needed happy hour. It wasn't too busy and our appetizers and drinks came out fast. Grizz Mizz: pink margarita! Tastes just as good as it looks. And only $5 during HH. Chips & Salsa: Loved that it came with 2 different salsas. I liked the verde salsa better. The chips were fresh, lightly salted and crunchy. I didn't try any of the main dishes, but the fajitas smelled delicious as they were sizzling by our table.

We love a free parking restaurant! Has a tiny parking lot and additional spots alongside the roads. Food was really tasty the avocado toastada was delicious. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. The aesthetic is fun and cute

The food was awesome! I came for Easter brunch with my family that was in town (make sure you sit on the patio). I got the enchiladas with a sunny side egg and it was delicious and authentic. The service was amazing shout-out to Harrison!! We got our food 10-15 minutes after ordering- service is great. The ambiance is very fun. Cool decor outside and fun Spanish music. I'll be back!

While the service was incredible (unfortunately I forgot our waitress' name) everything else about this place was just OK in my opinion. While portions were somewhat large and shareable, the prices seemed a bit high, and I'm from LA so I'm used to more expensive than usual food. Just felt like the quality of the food didn't justify the prices. Everything was super greasy and heavy, which I suppose comes with the territory of Tex Mex. Not my cup of tea. Also, we were seated outside on a Friday night around 7:45 pm. At first it was quiet and enjoyable. Then two GIANT parties of ladies, one for a bachelorette and one for a birthday, were seated right next to us and the noise was unbearable. The vibe of the place totally changed into a club vibe - also not my cup of tea. Based on this experience, don't think I'd recommend this place to a friend visiting Austin. There are other much higher quality and reasonably priced places in the area.

Super disappointment. They have fun pink margaritas, a tasty Bloody Mary, and really good barbacoa. There's the good that got them 2 stars. Their food is promising. Unfortunately, service was a disaster. I know a lot of places are understaffed, and maybe that was the case, but seriously the service was atrocious. The waitress had zero personality, never once apologized for the service, and outright ignored us for most of the visit. We waited an hour before we were able to put in a food order. We asked for more flour tortillas and they said "there are some in your friend's tortilla holder y'all can share." Ordering the bottomless mimosas was pointless because they rarely came around to refill. She forgot most of our side dishes and we never received them even though we asked. To top it all off she rang up or tabs without some of the alcohol and came back to ask how we wanted to pay for the drinks. Um, why didn't you just put it on the same tab as the food?! At one point, we all looked at each other and said "is our waitress high?" Can't recommend to anyone from what we experienced.

Yeah. I do understand that the location of this establishment is crazy expensive, but we literally paid $22 for some under seasoned ground beef, 4 overly chewy grocery store corn tortillas, and some untouched bland beans and rice. Service was kind, but I feel like I had to ask for things twice a few times. In a city where you can trip over a good taco, I'm guessing the ambiance is a big draw? This place is beautiful, and I can see why it'd be fun to visit. But if you're reading this, Austin visitor, I'd head to Nixta or Suerte instead.

I LOVE Grizzelda's! The service is always great no matter how busy they are and the food and drinks are to die for. For appetizers, I always get the queso and brussel sprouts and for my main, the fajitas are my favorite for sure. Yes, it is definitely on the more expensive side but it's perfect for date night or a fun girl's night out. I highly recommend their happy hour though, they've got some great deals. You will definitely need a reservation, they're almost always booked up, so be sure to plan ahead. COVID Precautions: Masks are required for employees and guests when not seated.
