Noodle Fest Is Back: Here’s How You Can Sample Some of SF’s Best Noodles for $20 | Eater SF

"As an Emeryville mom-and-pop chain, Grocery Outlet has made quite a name for itself, but the question remains how it can sell sometimes pretty good wine so cheaply; The Chronicle reports that Greg Kobayashi, the director of wine, beer and spirits, uses the same "opportunistic" model the business uses for its food." - Paolo Bicchieri

This morning around 11:55A.M. I was in this Altadena store; while shopping I notice a young woman labeling products in the refrigerated section chewing gum. I called the store and requested to speak with a supervisor to bring it to their attention. I was transferred to a very defensive and aggressive supervisor. I asked her for her name and she refused to give me her name, I told her that I had a complain and I needed to know who I was making this complain to and asked her again to give me her name, she kept saying with a condescending voice how can I help you I asked her again for her name and she refused to give me her name. I said it 3 more time I need your name or I will file a complaint with your headcounters. She repeated the same question “How can I help you"? I said I need your name please and she replied with a very firm answer Rachel. I am not sure if she gave me her true name. After I told her the issue, she said I will handle it and hung up. In the past I have had conversations with her because half of the products on the shelves do not have a price. She replied I am lucky to have half of the products in the store with prices the employees don’t care. The problem with everything that is wrong with this store is Rachael. She does not have any management skill or customer service skills. I would love to speak to upper management because Rachel does not take any accountability and she is not seeing that everything that is wrong with the store fall under the store managers and that is under Rachel. She takes no accountability and passes the blame to her employees who are being supervised by Rachael who should not be in this position Truly Very dissatisfy customer

Don’t get me wrong. I love grocery outlet., BUT This time I was disappointed and upset… I like to purchase pumpkins, mini warty whatever you wanna call them and Gord when they come out cause we like to make soups with them when the holidays are over. I purchased six different kinds four of them. They charged me cash for instead of charging my EBT and rang them up under plantsand I’m really upset about it. I looked him up. They are edible now you guys owe me money.

The cashiers never check for discounts. This was the third time ive shopped at one of their locations and was not given the managers special discount which are clearly marked on the items. Training needs to be done to insure your employees know what they are doing. Thanks.

I like my local owner of my store but CORPORATE = extremely neglectful people that are the antithesis of a Christian company I had two issues with the app , one I left a voicemail 2 years ago never got a reply Secondly over a month ago after I initiated a query , I actually received an email that was very vague and based on my prior experience I responded saying umm is that it are you going to just leave me hanging ? I was met with a quick reciprocation that that will not be the case and they will get back asap . Over ONE MONTH and I responded to that thread now at least twice and they realize an error they caused so instead they’re being aloof AGAIN to the customers that essentially write their checks Garbage garbage garbage and should be ashamed of themselves. They’re so terrible they risk customers taking it out on their local store because I love the manager at mine but corporate is so evil in these interactions that if I keep thinking about it I’m just going to go the same distance to an Aldi ! And on top of that .. they’re becoming so gimmicky .. the clear pricing was a breath of fresh air .. now they make the app and it seems that it’s more about collecting data than it is to Save us any extra money . Sure when you first get it you get a a couple 5 off 25 and after that just complete trash digital offers which makes me believe it was a bait tactic

The Ventura store at 9372 Telephone Rd, is charging .15 cents for bags even when I bring my own, charging CRV for dry powdered drink mix and selling expired food. How does one take paper in to the recycling center... what a joke. Pricers are just as high as other retailers. I'll drive a few miles more than to shop at this store again.

Raised prices. Not as cheap as competitors anymore. A lot of stuff is close to expiration because they basically buy the left overs from other stores. Grocery outlet brand items aren't good. The grocery outlet near me is on its third owner and they all have attitudes towards their customers.

Hemet California store at San Jacinto and Florida I was trying to buy a case of wine I knocked on the Manager’s door and a woman answered I asked for HELP finding a case of wine and she pointed and said that’s all we have I asked for a Box she pointed to box’s on top of a shelf that you needed a ladder to reach and slammed the door in my face I went back to the wine and found a case that I was looking for I had to move ten bottles of wine that were on top of the case no help moving the open bottles of wine and no help lifting the case of wine into my cart hurting my shoulder and arm I can’t raise my arm now on the way out of the store I mentioned everything to the cashier and didn’t notice the woman was behind me listening to the whole conversation and she said to me HAVE A NICE DAY on my way outside this is what happened last Friday may 30th at 10:30 in the morning

This woman was completely rude to a man trying to buy one item slammed all the items that he had touched in the store and demanded that he pay for them as he was already standing in line to purchase his item then she proceeded to get in an argument in front of everyone for him to pay for the items he touched throughout store then She refused to allow him to pay for the item he was already in line for as he was asking her why she was acting like that and redirect her for her actions infront of other customers as she was attempting to kick him out. I was the next person in line After seeing this manager down talk this man in front of everybody I grabbed the item to pay with my items and she SNATCHED the item out of my hands and told me I wasn’t going to pay for it then she proceeded to tell me I would also be kicked out and she wasn’t going to allow me to buy the item as I grabbed the item back from her. So I left my items due to her poor customer service and lack of management. I believe her name is Kaitlin at the Carson City, NV
