Google
This store is waaaay better than the one in Lemoore, I actually get to browse the wine without being profiled and asked to leave, this is my new go to grocery outlet store, the employees ACTUALLY smiled!!! Isn’t that crazy!!!! Great service!!!

Sheryl Z.

Google
Parking lot and store is always clean. The shelves are always filled. They’re usually pretty staff so you don’t have to wait in a long line to check out.

Jennifer G.

Google
Store is clean and all the staff there are very friendly and helpful and the good dogfood is usually cheaper than most

Google
Excellent prices, reasonable quality, good service. Why pay more? Shop here first. New location is terrific!

Google
I appreciate their meat selection & vegetables. But the nature of this chain: all products not reliably stocked as there inventory is not consistent.

Jeff F.

Google
I have shopped at a couple of different Grocery Outlet stores within the past month. I enjoy finding some interesting items that I haven’t noticed elsewhere. The staff is always helpful and pleasant. The overall experience is very nice. And their prices are competitive.

Ryan K.

Google
4 stars, staff is friendly and helpful. Very convenient location for this neighborhood especially when you need something last min.

Google
Good process in most things. Meat prices are a bit high. Rotating selection so you never know what will be in stock. Excellent price on things like salad dressing, pickles, chips, etc. Vegetables are in very good condition. Employees are friendly but rarely have enough people checking so there is normally as line. Store is nice and clean. I enjoy checking out the various items they carry and those rotating items always have good prices.

Yelp
Amazing bargains that are much appreciated. The cheese island is diverse and reasonably priced as is the wines on offer. Husband loves the meaty lamb chops. The Rustik seeded bread is addictive. The crew are super helpful. What's not to like? Recommend without reservation. Compared with another grocery store in town you will be surprised at how much you will save. Only drawback is that they don't carry everything I want, but that is the same these days with every competitor I find.

Yelp
7/30/23 Checking it out! Safe, clean & practiced! Really, really nice! Seems new! Organized and easy to font what you need! A lot of great goods! I ended up getting small batch omelet cups, plant based breakfast sandwiches, turkey sausage breakfast burritos, hearty breakfast bowls, protein bars, strawberry banana pop tart bites, blueberry nut crunch cereal, brown rice & quinoa cups, hot taco shells, pepper jack cheese, crunchy peanut butter, cinnamon roll cups and Pinot Noir. The wine is called "The Punishment!" By 19 Crimes. Lol! They have a great wine selection too! Checkout after that. The worker was very kind with good day wishes! Workers are very nice! Kind and welcoming! Many greeted while walking through. =) Saved over $65! Pretty awesome! Great service and store! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Super fresh produce, the friendliest and most helpful staff anywhere; they always greet customers with a smile as we walk in, and if we ask them if they have something we could not find, they don't point and tell us aisle numbers, they take us there and show us exactly where it is. Now that is service! Also, in addiction to the standard supermarket fare, they have a large selection of unusual foods that you won't find anywhere else. By "unusual" I mean not your standard American ketchup and mayo, lol. There are sauces and dressings and canned goods and even vegetables that I've never heard of, but then I'm a meat and potatoes gal. I highly recommend the

Yelp
Going in here is like going on a treasure hunt. There's no telling what will be found or how good the price will be, but odds are it will be quite good. The artisan cheese selection is especially awesome, cheeses you can't find anywhere else in town for incredible bargains.

Yelp
There's a teller that works the day shift here and she is incredibly nice and considerate. The staff is helpful here. There are all kinds of sneaky good deals and you can find some very unique and healthy food products here. The only things that suck is the building is old and make sure to look at the expiration dates on the food because some of it might be expiring sooner than you would expect. Also, because of the building being old, refrigerators are old and produce is not fresh. Great place to find unique non-perishable food.

Yelp
I moved to central California in Hanford, which was the best decision I made! Grocery Outlet only perpetuate the friendly, courteous vibe where I reside. They are friendly and helpful. Their produce is fresh and very reasonable. When I leave the store, I feel satisfied, looking forward to returning to receive their great deals and friendly neighborhood vibe. Keep up the great work, guys. You have a customer for life.

Yelp
This new place is great. I no longer am afraid to go early in the morning or late evenings. This store is bigger, has lots to select from. There's also a large wine section if you're into that. :) I've heard it's hit or miss with them. :) The bottles look pretty tho. :) when we went we got lots of things we weren't planning on. Lots of great deals :)

Yelp
I love these stores. I frequent Visalia, Tulare, and the Hanford locations. I am most impressed with Hanford currently, and a cashier named Sherry is the reason. She never neglects to be personable. The difference between her and some others is that she actually listens to your reply and sincerely cares about her customers. She is never brusque or preoccupied, and has the ability to brighten your day. I will continue to shop the Hanford location even though it is considerably further away from my home. It is clean, well stocked and there is always someone nearby if you need assistance.

Yelp
Each time I come here, I am met with good deals and GREAT customer service. Every worker so far has been welcoming and helpful!

Roman S.

Yelp
This establishment allows women with large purses to walk in with no questions, but I walked in with a backpack because I do not have a trunk in my SUV to keep hidden from all the shady folks circling the parking lot around this store and I was told I had to leave my backpack upfront that has my laptop and personal belongings Off to Smart & Final I go. Never will I enter this store again.

Yelp
Have come here a many times while living in the area. Was never disappointed! Lots of great deals and friendly workers.

Yelp
Always shop here for groceries first. You never know what you are going to find here, but one thing is for sure, you are always going to get a good deal on beer and energy drinks. In addition to that the staff is always friendly. I'm always in there and I've never had a bad experience.

Yelp
Very nice grocery outlet location right by the train station. The place is older with a classic grocery store feel to it. The staff were very nice and answered all of the questions we had about where we should go while in downtown and what places were the best to eat at. The entire store was clean and well stocked with lots of specialty items.
google avatar

Yelp
My wife and I never fail to find amazing deals in here. You can usually find things that are heavily reduced in price, and aren't close to expiration. The service is surprisingly good too, much better than the supposedly more 'up-market' SaveMart!
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
Produce isn't the freshest and the frozen salmon I just threw away! The prices are great and you can actually find some serious bargains here but it's not somewhere I plan to go regularly.

Yelp
You know what, don't go here. I ride a bike everywhere, so I have to carry a backpack in order to carry stuff home from the store. It's a simple matter of practicality. This store has a ridiculous policy about leaving your backpack with one of the cashiers while you shop in the store. How freaking stupid is that? They don't ask women to leave their purses at the front what difference is it if you're carrying a backpack. That's discrimination! To top it all off, when I did leave my backpack there, I get to the front to check out and one of their employees steps all over it! So not only are they discriminating against me because I happen to be carrying a bag, but then they proceed to abuse my property! I will never ever shop here again even when I do have a car and I don't need to carry a bag anymore, that's ridiculous I don't ever want to come here again the corporate offices should know about this everyone should know about this!

Yelp
I remember back in the day, this store was mostly known by everyone as the "canned food store"! Don't know how or why this happened, but this is and excellent grocery store with a surprisingly good selection for being a "bargain" store. As a vegetarian, I'm pleased with the amount of veggie foods and health foods offered. They are not always available, but when they are, they're a nice surprise to see and it's also nice to not pay an arm and a leg for them when the only other store in Hanford that does offer this kind of food (Save Mart) is asking two or three times the amount. Staff is generally very friendly. Some are not AS friendly as others, but definitely no rude ones that I've come across yet. This is not a store to do all your general shopping in terms of staples for your pantry, but you will never leave empty handed. Trust me, I've tried. Good selection of health/beauty and household items also.

Yelp
For Hanford this is a good, and I mean a solid GOOD Grocery Outlet. Visalia is bigger with a larger selection but H-Town is near the top. I'm impressed with the beer selection as there are several craft/local brewery selections available. Prices are competitive to other mom and pops type stores....they have unknown wines, but most are pretty good.

Josh W.

Yelp
Where to begin with the wonders that are the Hanford Grocery Outlet. It really starts with the staff. Everyone who works here is incredibly nice, helpful, they greet you when you enter and are jovial and joking through the end of a transaction. It feels more like I'm going to a friend's house to pick up some things rather than a store. Second, the prices are incredibly cheap. Sliced cheese for 50c? Huge Bags of chips for 99c? Even crazier, gluten free flour and other paleo/healthy eating baking supplies are sold for maybe 2-3 bucks instead of 12 or more. We ALWAYS shop here first and get as much as we can, then go to Wal-Mart or whatever for what we cant find. Also, the alcohol here is crazy cheap. We consistently get bottles of wine for 2-4 bucks that are selling for 20 or more on the internet. These are well reviewed wines that have received multiple awards and fantastic scores that you can quickly google! This place is our 2nd home in Hanford, couldn't recommend it enough. Go there now! It's always an adventure, and always a good time.

Angela W.

Yelp
Grocery Outlet in Hanford requests that I leave all my bags including my purse. I didn't shop there. Awful service.

Yelp
Third time I've walked out because of one older female checker that's really slow . Then when it gets backed up they call a second checker, that takes from the BACK of the line who just showed up while I been in line for awhile. Only reason I'm posting on the third time, because I called them out on it and they give me a dumb answer. You don't deserve $15 an hour if you can't figure who's next in line. If I point out that the lady in front of me that still has all of her food in her cart and not on the black roller should be next. I shouldn't get blank stares from employees.
google avatar

Alei C.

Yelp
Everyone that works here is the best. They are all super nice and helpful. Be wary of their meat, but everything else is great. I always come here for the healthy snacks and wine.

The HaRp G.

Yelp
Amazing store, yes you have to make sure what your buying is not expired, but the deals you can find are awesome, and the staff are super helpful and friendly.
google avatar

Kellie W.

Yelp
Low prices, great customer service, and did I mention unbeatable prices? Plus they have raffles to win what you got on your receipt, and have fun stuff like spinning a wheel after you check out to win stuff. Great place I am a loyal customer, great staff.

Yelp
I grew up with this store being more "discount" or off items but at some point they really made a shift! I love going here as you never know what you'll find! Sometimes it's the only store I need to stop at for the weeks groceries!

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
I've shopped there many times and have always had a good experience there with staff and finding great prices on food.. If I can't find something I've bought there before, I have asked staff about it and they will go in the back and see if they have it , if not they let me know what day they get in a new shipment . I save a lot of money.

Ruthie D.

Yelp
Since prop 65 passed, grocery stores now charge ten cents a bag, but ebt users gets it free. Not so the outlet. Instead, they charge 15 cents a bag and if you don't want to purchase a bag, they put your groceries in paper bags. I would love to bring my own bags, but because someone had broken into the store, they now ask you to leave your bags with them. I had stopped using them because of that but went back because they do have some good products. At least I was able to carry the bags to the bus station which is down the street from the outlet. Paper bags are hard to hold and have no handles on them. This may not be a problem for drivers but it is for me because I walk or take the bus. I would leave my bags at the counter but I don;t want have to ask to have my bag back. I understand their fear but these two things are a huge inconvenience for me.
