Grød Birkegade

Grød in Copenhagen's center delivers an amazing brunch experience. The acai blueberry smoothie bowl stands out with its refreshing flavor and satisfying texture. The cozy ambiance complements the delicious menu perfectly, making it a must-visit spot for brunch enthusiasts in the city.

We ordered mushroom barley porridge and oat porridge. The mushroom was delicious, with amazing toppings and cheese drizzled. Barley added the texture, which balanced the dish. Oat porridge was amazing. The base is a little bit salty, with toppings of sweet almond butter and apple chunks. Definitely recommend it to anyone who likes porridge. Also ordered ginger lemonade and lime-thyme lemonade. I personally like ginger’s more because it gives a warm feeling in the morning. Both were pretty good.

I’ve had a very nice early dinner in this Grød, after a viewing at the close Imperial Cinema. Food was very good and not too pricy, since it’s a pretty healthy option. We got a Red Daal bowl and a Barl-otto with mushrooms and I would suggest to try both. Service was fast and overall ok. Atmosphere was very chill (the place was far from crowded).

I had the pleasure of dining at Grød during my recent trip to Copenhagen, and I have to say, it was one of the highlights of my trip. The restaurant specializes in porridge, and they certainly know how to make it delicious. Grød is a must-visit restaurant in Copenhagen for anyone who loves porridge or is looking for a cozy and delicious breakfast spot. The porridge is top-notch, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I can't wait to come back the next time I'm in Copenhagen!

Huge portions and I will opt for the smaller one next time xD. Lots of topping options to create your own grød. Staff was friendly and we didnt have to wait too long even if the place started to be full. Pricewise: It always feel a bit off paying a lot for "just" grød, but it was not the ordinary porrige and a lot of fun topings to mix inbetween. I love breakfast so I will probably be back :)

Very cosy place, perfect for a breakfast. Nice atmosphere, chill guitar music playing, superfriendly staff, great coffee. And the food is so good! Beautiful and so yummy, just wow!

Service is terrible. Not recommended. They forgot my order and I asked twice. First time I asked they forgot to put the order and said it’s going to take 10 mins. Second time I asked, they said oh it’s going to take 10 mins. So my friend basically finished her food and we were just waiting for mine to arrive. They said sth weird that they can refund me. I said sure and then they were shocked like they can’t refund me fully. I was like, why are you offering at the first place? 😅

service is too bad, I was ordered fresh lemanade, they gave different one, it was not freshly made. I was informed about replace with right lemanade, no one bothered. Very careless about customer issues, they just ignored and left hiding in kitchen. later said they can't exchange it with right one. so bery bad service, my son is 7 years old, he is telling that not to go again there. He was so upsetted taking that bad lemanade with strange smell coming from it.
