"The Daily Trojan digs deep into the return of Ground Zero, the on-campus cafe that has existed as a performance space and lunch spot for years. The place has been down for over a year, but is opening again soon with food and live entertainment — but no coffee and milkshakes." - Farley Elliott

Retro style cafe with very comfortable sofas and chairs. The 5$ milkshake are awesome and addictive. This place is known for hosting various performances like comedy shows, singing, concerts etc. You will just keep on coming here.

Student run and student owned, Ground Zero has amazing milkshakes, coffee, lattes, and much more. It's always served with a chill vibe full of memes and smiles. I love hanging out here!

Ground Zero's a decent place for milkshakes and low-key performances. It's pretty close to Pardee and Trojan Hall, although it's not really a place you lounge at. It's got a weird vibe. Not really a casual hangout place, because it's too dark and moody. The all-black atmosphere is offputting, not too welcoming. More of a place where you get your shake and go somewhere else. They're going for the aesthetic of a bar, but without the alcohol. Ground Zero is more appropriate for performances with a few dozen people in attendance. Yet it's too small for crowds, and too large to be intimate. It's weird. Maybe it's the architecture. Maybe it's the acoustics. Maybe it's the decorations (well, the lack of them). Something's not quite right about Ground Zero.

Ground Zero is an all around wonderful experience! The baristas always have a good sense of humor, the music is always trendy, and the milkshakes are THE BEST you will EVER have in your life!

excellent staff, the most cheerful people and the shakes, the shakes ... some of the best shakes I've ever had. The cafe is also a great place to chill out at. I would keep this place a secret, but I am not so selfish :-).
